I requested for MNP form Idea Postpaid bearing No. [protected] on[protected], before that I paid my bill in advance more than bill amt. But still they rejected my MNP request stating O/S due. On inquiry customer care suggested to again send request now it will be processe, on[protected] I again Requested for MNP which rejected for same reason.

    Hey dear idea team.
    I am very upset with idea network & internet speed.
    For calling someone i have to try 2 to 3 times then cal get connected.
    Their is also complaint from my family & friends your mobile no. Says out of coverage area even if all network is ok.
    If this problem is happening then network provider have to give message alert
    2. When i am using internet it's very slow then other network providers.
    Can't play videos even in you tube.
    I have done recharge of rs.400. It's per day data limit is 1 gb but due to internet speed i can't even use 200 mb data.
    This is very verst experience from idea.
    Now i am going to change to other service providers. If idea not work on internet speed.

      I had lost an amount of ₹100 from my number [protected]. This is the second time its getting deducted automatically saying that I had downloaded some services which I didn't even see or know about.
      at the first time it happened on 19/1/18 saying i have downloaded new arrival gm from Indiagames which I didn't see or know about and I registered a complaint speaking to the supervisor and the complaint number was[protected] and it was solved and credited back the amount of 99 on the third day saying that again it won't take place again from their side.
      And today 27/1/18 morning it got deducted again saying I have downloaded an animation from Nazara and got deducted 100 at the time when my mobile was not even touched by me.
      As I only used to keep the balance in my mobile for the international roaming facility to receive calls when am travelling.
      Please take this fraudulent issue done by idea sim provider seriously as many of the customers are facing the same recently as I came to know when I enquired.
      I want them to pay the fine for wot I lost and my valuable time that is wasted because of their fraudulent works.

        Hi team,

        This is to report against unethical practices followed by idea cellular.

        My number is +91 [protected] and while i am in uk from past few months i am constantly keeping my sim active and using it.

        In between idea also deducts some mandatory charges claiming that they are as per trai regulation which is fair enough.

        I got a message from idea on 20th jan 2018 that my number will be disconnected and when approaching idea they said you need to maintain minimum balance of rs. 200 while in international roaming. I immediately recharged my phone with rs. 270 and made a call which costed me rs. 100 for 5 seconds, after which my balance i checked was rs.172.

        Again i got message on 26th jan 2018 that your number will be disconnected due to non usage and to my surprise when i checked my balance it was reduced to rs 23.

        I mean they deducted rs. 250 with no reason and also messaging that number will be disconnected which is completely unfair.

        They also closed my wife's number few month back with same reason and immediately allocated to someone without any notification or warning of number closure.

        Please suggest how can i report this to consumer forum or trai to stop such unfair practices by idea cellular.

          I have taken a 99 retention plan from idea. I am in uae and not using my idea number for any calls. I got a bill of rs 500 this month. Kindly take action against idea for charging extra money and exploiting customers. They have already taken rs 3000 from me telling activation charges for international roaming. Take serious actions against them as every month i am getting a bill of 400, 500 eventhough i am in 99 retension plan and not using the number.             I got a call from idea company (Pragna [protected]) telling the offer of post paid 349/- with 2 month free sim card charges 200/- for 1 month free have to pay 100/- i agreed to take 2 months free, this offer is also conformed by their dealer ajeet [protected]. But now they are refusing to give that offer. At the time of purchase they said offer is still there, but now they are telling the offer is expired when i purchased. Please solve my problem.

              Dear all,
              This is very unfortunate that my idea prepaid sim [protected] not working in dubai (Uae).
              I been called to the idea helpline [protected] number of times but all the time they are false promising and doing nothing.
              Every time i am trying to register with uae local operator etisalat or du getting the bellow error
              "your sim card does not allow connection to this network"

              I am really disappointed, not getting in touch with my family/friends and also loosing by business.

                I received an email that if i paid the bill on that day i would receive one month rent free. So i paid on the same day. Yet i got billed for that month. I told them but i got no response. I had already got broadband connection from other provided and asked them to disconnect my connection yet the billed me for another month.
                In short
                Month 1: got an offer of getting 1 month free. Paid the bill.
                Month 2: got billed and asked them to deactivate the account.
                Month 3: got billed again after asking them to deactivate in previous month
                I am ready to pay for 1 months right now and not the 3 months as stated by them. And end this matter right now, as i am tired of this harassment from these people. Really disappointed with idea broadband.

                  Hi all,

                  I have raised the connection termination request on 26-jan2017 and it succesfully closed on 28-jan-2017. My payment cycle was like start of month to 31 of the month. So i have paid the january 2017 bill completely and asked idea broadband customer care for not genrating feb-2017 cycle bill as connection closed but still idea broadband genrated the feb, march, april... Cycle bills. I called idea customare care many times for but they said if you are not using the service then no need to worry and ignore the bills.

                  Now after 1 year, thats is on 25 jan 2018, idea broadbabd send be mail for lok adalat notice for dues of 2247 rs which is completely baseless.

                  I have replied the mail with all details like service request number for termination and above info.

                    I was using the idea postpaid number [protected] which was ported to idea prepaid few months back. Even before the process started i was asked to clear all the unbilled due amount which i also think the process works. But now i have received a mail from "[protected]@idea. Adityabirla.com" claiming that i still have some unwanted dues left to be paid for which i now have to appear in court.

                    I had paid for all my bills on time when i was using the postpaid service. When i contacted the prepaid customer care service they claimed that unless n until the due amount doesn't get cleared the porting from postpaid to prepaid even within the network can not be initiated.

                    Please find below the mail i received. Is this the way of extorting money from the customers??

                    Dear customer,

                    Greetings of the day.

                    This is to inform, you are requested to attend lok adalat at shivaji nagar court on 10thfeb 2018 from 10.30 am to 3.00 pm for settlement of your account

                          I had a Idea Broadband connection in Pune. Account No.[protected].
                          I had requested for disconnection of my service and account on 29th Jan 2017 and also had cleared all dues upto 29th Jan 2017. I have all the proofs of it and have also had got reply from Company that the account is closed, but still i used to get payment reminder and other mails on my account and also SMS on my mobile.
                          On 20th of Jan 2018, the company has send me LOK ADALAT notice asking me to pay my dues 2945Rs ( which i am not required to pay ). i contacted the team again and they said i still don't need to pay any dues ! i wrote a mail to the team with proof and they gave me a reply that they are sorry and no dues are left on 23rd Jan.2018, but still the company has sent me another notice today !
                          This is Harassment from last one year now !

                            From last 3months they are not activating my number, i had submitted documents many time then they do this recharge that had i also done then they se verification call will came to your alternate number but know call as came yet now, near about 20-25 times i had gone there office. Know they r saying u sim is deactivated go to ur hometown maharashtra for activation of sim. Currently i m doing job in chennai and, my sim is from nagpur. How i can go there in nagpur for sim activation and i had just join in chennai currently i had not completed my probation period also in company.in my banks, pf account, frnds, relatives all over is only that number given.
                            My bank loans are pending because in all transferring amount otp cames in that number. Sir i m very frustrated because of their service, my emi interested are raising day by day. They r just fooling me.

                                  Few days before i got a call from idea and offered to postpaid sim by doing mnp from my current number and they made me fell for that, hence i made mnp from tata docomo to idea, a person from idea came and gave a sim and took my aadhar details, after few days my old operator cancelled the network but idea is not activated, at that afternoon a person from idea called me and said it will be activated soon, but still it's not activated, that is my only one personal number what the hell is going on. For last 3 days my personal number is not working, i have used that number for everything. Please take necessary action according to this kind of issues.

                                    Even after several complaints and dnd registration, idea is looting people with small amounts like rs. 3 every now and then towards vas services on shortcode 51998. When asked, the customer support guys argue that i have requested for the service. But, i never requested for any such services and my mobile was under use at the said time. Aditya birla group is known for its quality services but looting their customers with these kind of cheap tricks is not acceptable. Please stop such unnecessarily billings and refund my amount. You can retrieve my number from the attached transactions screenshot.

                                      I am using my mobile number [protected] with vodafone postpaid, in august (Approx), 2017 i have ported out my my number [protected] to idea post paid with the plan of rs. 349 unlimited calls and 15 gb 3g/4g net for 28 day.

                                      At 14/09/2017 i have paid my firm bill rs.320 against bill of rs.315.33 and got confirmation sms also. At the next month sms to pay rs.2888, i had argued for details bill for such inflated bill because my billing plan was rs.349 the customer executive has denied to provide the details and forced me to pay the bill or they will suspend my number. And also they suspended my number in oct-17, since the time i have tried to visit 4-5 customer care center but all they answered me that this is not a idea number. They all have detailed me that in feb-2017 i had ported out to other company then never come backed to idea.

                                      I had complained to idea customer care by email they also had not accepted that my number [protected] is idea number. They asked me to give any proofs that prove the number recently working in idea. I have mailed all the sms i receive in aug-sep-oct 2017 about scheme plans, promotional offers, billing, payments and confirmations, notice for suspensions and more of all the screen shot of sms i got i have sent to idea care, but no one has replied properly for these proofs or not answered for my questions.

                                      I have also complained to http://www.consumerhelpline.gov.in portal vide id no. 516314. After that the a idea officer laxmi has called me and she told me that this is not a idea number and if you have any proof of such please file upload at your grievance. I have tried to do so in www.consumerhelpline.gov.in page complain page but there i could not found any facility like file upload as she has detailed me and also she has closed my complain without my confirmation. I has has consumer helpline customer care he has refused to have any facility of file upload in their portal. The officer, of consumer helpline, has immediately raised another complain (Comp. Id 533673) but result the same there is not any effect on idea.

                                      I got a mail from customercare of idea (Dated 19/12/17) has clearly mentioned that there is not any out standing bill related to my number [protected] till nov-2017

                                      I had also complained to pg portal vide id no. Darpg/e/2017/33655 but did not find any proper response or reply or solutions from any side.

                                      In dec-2019 i got a notice dated 22/11/2017 from idea for recovery of rs. 3722.77 on behalf of kamdhenu corporation. I argued to given number of idea recovery department officer and detailed all the matter what happened before. He has invited me to share all details by email. I have done so. But now he is refusing to hear anything about my complain an forcing me to pay all the amount pending of kamdhenu corporation. Other wise idea will not start my number which is suspended from oct-2017.
                                      I have mailed the recovery officer ashish courasiya that i dont have any relation with kamdhenu corporation or any other relevant persons of said firm and never ever been contacted or never direct or indirect transactions or not any kind of relations with kamdhenu corporation or its any of members even i dont know where is the firm stated. All the details all the screenshot of mail conversations with idea customer care and but he started arrogantly and forced to to pay all the amount if i need my number back working.

                                      Sir. Its my business number [protected] and i have lost more then rs. 30000/40000 per month from the date of suspension of my number by idea. I got damaged my business image, lost contacts with my customers, my business persons and all.. I am in heavy financial crisis and have so much of mental stress and depression because of such lost and problems.

                                      Please do the need full as possible. I have not any connection with kamdhenu corporation or relevant. I need my number working back as early as possible the save my business prestige.
