I ported my aircel sim to idea postpaid. I was told that i could convert it to prepaid at any time by the customer care center but when i went to the idea store they told me that it could not be converted to prepaid before three months of activation of sim whereas i was told that i convert it at any time. I am unhappy that i was given wrong information by the customer care center and i want to convert it to prepaid right now.

    Hi, my name is pankaj vashishta. I have been idea post paid connection user for last 3 years approximately and having 2 numbers ([protected], [protected]). Last february, i have moved to australia on work assignment and i have been paying rs 500 on each number monthly. Suddenly in may 2017, in middle of billing cycle, i started getting message on my other number [protected] that your monthly credit limit of rs 8100/ - (Rs eight thousands one hundred) has exceeded. I immediately called sent mail to customer care to explain this incident. I didn't get satisfactory answer and they always said that we cannot tell you and you would know only after bill generated. I wanted to know if anything was going wrong in middle of billing cycle, i could stop it or correct it, but no one from idea team helped me. I got atleast 10 messages in that billing cycle and i had no clue. That was my first bad experience. Thereafter, i received the bill around rs 9000 and it said i have used 9mb of data for which they have charged me 7552/-. I explained that since i have landed in australia, i have kept my data off and using my india number on wifi only. I would never use internet on india when i have australian number to use internet and wifi at home. I asked for specific details on dates when i used this data. Idea customer care never provided this details. Instead they started sending "immediate payment" emails in bulk. Fort every mail, i started requested to give me details. But they never responded appropriately, just automated response. I have escalated this to regional appellate officer in maharashtra but didn't get any response. Finally, out of desperation, i have escalated to all regional appellate officers in india in all states, but to my extreme surprise, i did not get any response. Later on, i had receiving email for urgent payment. I have even said in email if you give me details of which dates i used internet, i will pay my bills, but they never replied. I also requested an international idea number which i can call and get this sorted. But they always gave me 12345 as a number. This was very hopeless. Idea also had rs 2000 each number deposit since february 2017. Now for last 2 months, to the extreme violation of customer privacy, idea has shared my relative numbers to external people and they are calling my relatives to get my numbers and creating fake stories that they have got parcel for pankaj and need his number urgently. I have called one of those number and lady on the phone said that we are from delhi court and we are lodged the fir against your dues of icms pvt ltd and your case will be handled by a legal advisor and she wanted me to talk to legal adviser. I clearly said i have never done wrong, paid all bills for both numbers for last 3 years, ready to pay this bill as well if they have given me correct explanation and dates about charge; i won't talk to any legal adviser. She rudely said that you case would be taken up by lok adalat now. Since then they are again calling my relatives and falsely pretending to be courier service and wanted to deliver parcel for me. I have all evidences of all emails being sent to customer care, escalation to regional appellate officer and all appellate officers in india across all states. I can produce all if required. After having disappointed and being harassed from all fronts in idea cellular, i am requesting to take action against such agencies and idea cellular.

    I think you have not understood my query. I specifically asked.

    1) when the mobile data has been used? I am pretty sure that my mobile day was off during that month. I asked about date and timing when data was used. You never replied that. In fact you haven't replied that question for last 15 days.

    2) why it took you 15 days to answer my email. It is itself violation customer service act and SLA(2 days). I sent 2 reminders during last 15 days. Then only I got answer after 15 days.

    3) many a times, I have asked about changing plan, switching from Postpaid to prepaid, but didn't get any satisfatory answer.

    4) How can I receive your customer care call on my mobile when I am overseas? In fact, I have asked for idea international phone number where I can call and resolve my issue. But you still providing me 12345 without taking into consideration that I am in overseas and can't call that number. This shows your carelessness and pathetic customer care service.

    5) please check your records, I have started asking your help even before my bill was generated on 6th June. And again your pathetic customer service didn't get me satisfactory answer.

    6) I do have have another mobile number [protected] with me but it's bill is Rs 400.22 I made it's payment. This shows I am paying on time without fail but this number [protected] got me whopping RS 9000 bill which is really unexpected. You never tried to give me detailed explanation of this bill except that your concerns team said it is correct charges. How useful is this?

    Considering all these troubles and helplessness, I am now considering to engage my lawyer and file a lawsuit against Idea in consumer forum and will give them all evidences that how foolish and delayed responses you have given to me. It will also show how you voilated your SLA and customer service act.

    If you still think that you can solve this dispute, please answer all my 6 questions asked above.

    This is another email which I sent on 230 August out of repeated frustration where I am not getting answers to my queries and but just getting automated emails to payment reminder. I was very hopeless and frustrated that Idea Customer service never replied to my specific queries point by point.

    Finally I have forwarded that email all Appellate escalation point throughout India, covering all states but to surprise, nobody replied. This is the way, you treat your customers?

    Thanks for your email. I will pay the amount if you answer the questions below to my satisfaction.

    1) I have asked for Rs.115 extra that has been applied to my bills for last 2 months, not Rs.149/- (I have attached that email again). You still didn't answer my question. Why?

    2) I have asked about this extra charge about 40 days ago, you answered it and that is also incorrectly. Why?

    3) What is your service level agreement? That means after how many days / hours, you are obliged to answer customer query? I hope that is not 40 days.

    once you answered all these queries, then ask one more question to yourselves. Are you really good organization to make this point in your email?

    Hi Lavina,

    Now please tell me, even after sending tens of emails to customer care, appellate officers in Maharashtra and other states, customer acre service has not been provided me with clarification and just been harassed me by many emails. They have started calling my relatives and spreading false information that I have got urgent parcel.

    This is clear breach of customer privacy.

    I have repeatedly said if you answer my queries to my satisfaction, I will pay the bill but nobody bothered to answer my queries.

    On many occasions, Idea Customer care service did not reply within their SLA of 48 hours.

    You asked for Customer service executive name. I have replied to many customer service executives and they never replied to my queries further, few of them are

    Nobody from Idea Cellular has replied on this yet. Instead, they started passing my relative's numbers to unauthorized people. What an unethical conduct from this company Idea?

    Hi Lavina,

    I have few concerns and unfortunately, even after raising these with customers care, they do not respond to my queries. They always send me a general answers. You are customer care, you must have access to all of my emails. I have sent more than 50 emails in last one year asking specific questions but I have got response to only 10 emails and those are general reply.

    I asked below questions on 23rd June 2017 for [protected]

    1) when the mobile data has been used? I am pretty sure that my mobile day was off during that month. I asked about date and time when mobile data was used. You never replied that. In fact you haven't replied that question for last 15 days.

    2) why it took you 15 days to answer my email. It is itself violation customer service act and SLA(2 days). I sent 2 reminders during last 15 days. Then only I got answer after 15 days.

    3) many a times, I have asked about changing plan, switching from Postpaid to prepaid, but didn't get any satisfatory answer.

    4) How can I receive your customer care call on my mobile when I am overseas? In fact, I have asked for idea international phone number where I can call and resolve my issue. But you still providing me 12345 without taking into consideration that I am in overseas and can't call that number. This shows your carelessness and pathetic customer care service. Can you think somebody can call 12345 from outside India?

    5) please check your records, I have started asking your help even before my bill was generated on 6th June. And again your pathetic customer service didn't get me satisfactory answer.

    6) I do have have another mobile number [protected] with me but it's bill is Rs 400.22 I made it's payment. This shows I am paying on time without fail but this number [protected] got me whopping RS 9000 bill which is really unexpected. You never tried to give me detailed explanation of this bill except that your concerns team said it is correct charges. How useful is this?

    Please remember these questions are still unanswered even after 8 months. What you are doing, just keep repeating you have charged correctly and as per International roaming. How can you explain that I have international roaming for 4 months before this bill but was still paying only Rs 400 per month. But you suddenly sent me Rs 9000 bill and not giving internal and detailed view of June bill for last 8 months.

    If you have any proof that you have answered me these questions to the point in last 8 months, then let me know. I have attached so many emails in other complain and if you really bother about my concerns, please have a look at those emails once.

        I have been harassed for over a month for porting out of idea, i must have given 50 calls to idea customer care. I deposited pending amount twice but they are delaying the porting hence bill gets increased and response given is that due to technical reason porting request is rejected. I spoke to tushar and madhuri idea senior customer care representative they promised of prompt action but its over a month i am still not able to ported out.

          My idea 3g net is giving awesome downloading speed but whenever i try to upload something on you tube and send videos on whatsapp, uploading speed get reduced to 40kbps to 0kbps and it doesn't go on. I even try to get support from idea customer care, but they say they can't do anything on this. What can i possibly do? I am tired of same poor uploading speed.

          They called me after 4, 5 days of complaint and asked me about my problem in detail. I told them my problem regarding my issue and after 1 day they called me back they will look in to any solution that can be possible. After few days, my uploading and network speed got better. They called again asking about my problem resolved or not and I agreed with satisfaction.

          It's happening all the time from 2 weeks. When I first recharged my Idea 3g net with daily 1GB pack, first day uploading speed was upto 500kbps but from next day, it drastically get reduced to 0kbps. That's the problem, I am having many difficulties in uploading videos on YouTube and sending on whatsapp.

            Dear sir/madam
            I am using idea post paid sim. Monthly postpaid bill is 349+gst.30 days validity.. But prepaid 449 rs 70 days validity... So that's why... I am desided to go prepaid... I given a request for postpaid to prepaid... But idea customer service person told.. Visit the idea store and submit adhaar card with in 33 hours it will be changed... So that's why i went 4th january... Idea store in cunningham road... But the store lady told it's not possible to change postpaid to prepaid because within 90 days lacking period we can't do... But i called to customer care again asked... After that she proceed pormalities.. She told with in four days sim will be activated that time u can link adhhar.. Immediately it's activated.. But today morning postpaid network gone.. I went to idea store she told ur sim is rejected. U have to wait again 24 hours... But they people doing intensanally... They are not ready change postpaid to prepaid.. Today morning on words i last network... I missed lot of important calls.. I think tomorrow also i will lost some important calls. They are doing intensanally. They people giving answer also negletly... Pls take a some action sir

              Dear sir,

              Today auto downloaded of 'wwe_vd from indiagames' without any subscription. Charged rs. 7 & previously rs. 15. Even after not downloading any game, i talked to customer care 198, but they didn't even try to listen my issue, he was forcing me to accept his opinion that i have downloaded that game from chargeble sites and not going to pay any money, please help me for back the complete amount.

              As seen most of the complaints are regarding such unwanted auto download of games and all and dedication of money, so you must stop their trick.

                On 4th jan.2018, i have recharged for rs.40/- with tt of r. S38/- then rs.17/-
                For ps.30/min. Facility, both were sucessfully done. Validity upto[protected].

                On 5th when i used the phone for local number, the charges shown was
                Ps.90 per mint. Why this defect and excess charges.

                Again today also i called local number and same amount of ps.90/- is charged.
                When i recharged rs.17/- it should be ps.30 permin.

                I request u to kindly correct the defect, and fix the problem immediately
                So that charges are charged at ps.30/ per mint.

                Please treat this mail as cause of action to approach consumer forum
                For redressal of my grievance with compensation towards pain and suffering
                Mental agony etgc a sum of rs.10, 00/- in all.

                Since i am advocate the filing of case is not a problem, since all the messages sent
                By idea cellular co., is preserved and call charges charged for local calls are
                Also saved.

                Please note when i contacted twice the cc number 198, the phone was not mconnected
                To any of the executive, instead nonsense recorded msgs are listned.

                  Either idea cellular company or www.niki.ai are fraudulently using my money that i paid for. Neither they don't update yet or release my refund. You tell, where should i go to complaint of both company.
                  Below is all details regarding my successful payment, but not settled yet or refund yet.

                  You can see in screenshot below, that one bill of 150rs is not done out of 2 bill of 150. Im sending order id. You can check & send refund.

                      Ref: complaint against idea cellular for nonjudicial bill against [protected] postpaid.

                      I am complaining again and again for unexpected, nonjudicial bill for [protected] as mentioned in above thread, for june - july 2017.
                      I was calling to idea customer care almost every alternate day to reduce bill. I also visited my idea offices in baner rd again and again to get the status and register complaints.
                      You took almost 2 months to realize your mistake to reduce bill,
                      After realizing that you reduced bill, but till date you did put my number on td (Temporary disconnected) according to information provided by your customer executive to me on 11 jully or 11th august, that if number is on td then you dont generate bill for that period. Still you charged bill for whole month.

                      Harassment:
                      You harassed me again and again by calling, by sms to pay the bill. The bill which was not judicial or legal.
                      My idea mobile was registered at different places like banks, institutes, colleges, friends, families etc. I was not able to get notifications, otp's, calls, intimations during td period, in that period i loss my money, as well as mentally harassed lot.
                      On top of that in next billing cycle july-august 2017 they charged for td period. Again i started complaining for that but idea people ignored it, and they keep generating bills for next billing cycle.
                      Time waste:
                      In that period i wasted my valuable, productive time in contacting, thinking about idea due to that my family atmosphere also disturbed.

                      I will not able to pay the nonjudicial bill provided to me, as well as idea customer care executives had given me wrong information, guided wrongly.
                      I have already complained for that in my idea and they have registered it.

                      I am requesting idea to close my postpaid account and take back all the non-judicial bills.

I will add more sms snaps and as well as my idea complaints in idea retail shops. I can not pay the bill given by Idea, it is totally nonjudicial, If they could make it worth for me then I will think to pay only that I have used.

                        I got a call from [protected] (Shaumya chaudhary) giving offer to port my number ([protected]) to idea postpaid. I provided her my id and porting code to [protected]@gmail.com. They ported my number to idea 4 days back but they hav delivered the sim to me. At present i am calling them but they are not picking my call. I told them that i will complain to consumer forum, they replied you can complain where ever u want. Please solve the issue as soon as possible.

                        I got a call from [protected] (shaumya chaudhary) giving offer to port my number ([protected]) to idea postpaid. i provided her my id and porting code to [protected]@gmail.com. they ported my number to idea 4 days back but they hav not delivered the sim to me. at present i am calling them but they are not picking my call. i told them that i will complain to consumer forum, they replied you can complain where ever u want. please solve the issue as soon as possible.

                          I recharged my balance today and and as soon as i recharged i got a message saying juice up service has been activated and deducted 120 rupees from my balance. I don't even know what this service is and i never requested for it. Please give my balance back idea.
                          This is very bad and violation of consumer rights. It has been recurring that my balance got deducted for the subscriptions i never requested and not even aware of. But this time since it was huge amount (120 rupees) i decided to file a complaint. Please help me and refund my balance to me.

                            Dear sir, i port my aircel sim to idea in december by an idea company agent after porting and activation of sim is showing in aircel he told me that after 2-4 days the sim will be activated and aircel sim will be deactivated then idea sim shows network better but when in recharge my sim balance sim shows in aircel, not in idea please solve this problem and tell me the solution thanx

                              I have a mobile connection with 499 tariffs postpaid plan . no is [protected]. I got a bill of Rs. 2015 and when I tried to call on customer care 198 they disconnected call many times.

                              Now I got disappointed with IDea strategy. I was using this postpaid for last 2 years but this time they start making money.

                                Sir, i recharged my number amount ₹549 by an application on 9/12/2017 at 10:33pm at that time it was showing 70 days validity. But when i got recharge successful message it was showing the validity of 28 days. I immediately call to the costumer care number 198 they told me that your plans validity will be increased after 28 days. Today my plan got expire and it didn't got renewed. I called to the costumer care executives today as well but they are not supporting me. My transaction i'd is in the picture. Please take action soon

                                    Really frustrating. My balance was deducted in the amount of 691 rupees within a day, on 30 december 2017. There were no notifications received for the same.

                                    I hold a prepaid connection from idea in gujarat circle for more than 3 years now and was proudly admitting to it. But this incident has let the image down.

                                    Desirable resolution: please refund my balance.

                                      Just got a notification saying 'New Voicemail. Voicemail Number Unknown.' and when i click it, it takes me to voicemail setting in which it says 'Voice Number, (Not Set)
                                      i set it to 123 but it's not the voicemail number
                                      called idea customer care but they told me that's this is not what they give service for.
                                      how can i listen to my voicemail in idea?

                                      Waiting on a very important call and my phone didnt ring, was wanting to know if anyone can help me access my voicemail so i can get this?

                                        One fraud call from no [protected] calling from delhi hajari court. Person name deepa and sumit agrawal appointed by idea mobile company. Person call to my relative and friends and misguide about us that we are invested in dlf company and we suffer loss. We did 420 case and police will come to my relative and friend house and catch them and they have to be presented in court.

                                        Idea company will take all my contact no with out my permision and call them.

                                        This is a sameless job by idea company. From this my reputation is also get affected.

                                        Please take strict action against this pepole. So that no person can dare to do this type of activity.

                                        First check your Internal issue.How your employee are working and unnecessary harras people.

                                        If you not solve the case properly I will suggest all my Employee friends and relative to Port their number from idea to other network.No person will purchase idea sim.

                                        then what is due amount that you are writing continuously.

                                        Idea company cannot demand unjustified amount.
