A) i as an idea cellular consumer was a subscriber to connection bearing number [protected] for last several years.
B) during the entire period of availing services i diligently paid my monthly dues and demands to the service provider.
C) in april 2017 i surrendered the number [protected].
D) in may 2017 the service provider m/s idea cellular limited sent me a final invoice number [protected] dated 07.05.2017 indicating credit balance of rs. 491.37/= after adjusting all my dues.
E) the retailer m/s mannat communications sonkh road mathura (Op-1) verbally confirmed that the payment instrument shall reach me in 90 days.
F) after elapse of 90 days i approached the retailer once again to check status of my payment instrument. I was directed to contact the toll free number.
G) after persistent follow up with retailer call center i could not get a satisfactory reply. On 18.09.2017 i sent an email communication to the email id provided on the website appellate. [protected]@idea. Adtiyabirla.com.
H) on 30.09.2017 i got a communication from the appellate authority advising that the payment instrument was issued on 15.05.2017 but could not be delivered due to my residential address being in non serviceable area. For fresh payment instrument i should visit the retailer and provide all valid documents and seek refund.
I) i reiterated that the same has been advised to me 3 months ago and i have supplied all documents to the retailer. But in vain.
J) the retailer on 18.11.2017 confirmed to me during telephonic discussion that the payment instrument has reached agra from meerut and should reach me very soon.
K) after waiting for almost 3 weeks i sent a registered letter to the retailer chairmanmanaging director and appellate authority. But no response received.

The above chronology is conspicuous example that the service provider m/s idea cellular
Service limited is amassing wealth by cheating innocent customers thru such tactics.

I) direct the service provider m/s idea cellular limited to table details of all such cases pending for payment of refund after 3 months of closure of services and details of credit amount on same account to be deposited with honorable forum.
Ii) refund my outstanding of rs. 1391.37/= (Basic+interest)
Iii) penal charges of rs. 25000/= for mental harassment inflicted upon me during the last 9 months for their ineptitude.
Iv) award of rs.15000/= towards cost of litigation.
V) such other orders may also be passed against the contemnors respondents as deemed fit and proper by this honorable forum in facts and circumstances of the case.

I connection has been ported to Idea Network. My previous connection was Reliance Network.

​I have paid my last payment to Reliance on 2nd Dec 2017, I have already informed to Idea Cellular concern person for the same. But they have deactivated my phone connection.

Please look this matter & arrange active my phone connection immediately.

    To whom it may concern,

    I complain is regarding the portability plan offer and bill received is completely different.

    So, i made a complain regarding the same with idea via email many times however, they are not resolving it.

    Now, they have barred my mobile number and keep on sending increased bill every now and then to pay.

    They are also keep on calling me every now and then to pay the bills and not listening to my concern at all.

    They are also using abusive and filthy languages over the phone.

    I asked them to give me the bill as per the plan offered however, they are not listening at all.

    They have robustly levied charges on every bill.

    They also activated vas automatically.

    So, i am filing a serious complain against idea.

    Please resolve my query at the earliest as they are keep on increasing the charges as i am not at all using its services.

    First Email Sent to Idea:

    To Whom It may concern,

    I got this number (Mobile # [protected]) port into Idea in August 2017 with the Rental Plan @499.

    Below are the features offered at the time of the activation of the Plan:

    1: Monthly Rental will be @399 due to port,

    2: All Incoming and Outgoing calls (Local and Roaming) will be free,

    3: Text Message will be free of cost,

    3: 1 GB/per day lifetime,

    4: 5 GB/per month extra data for six months.

    However, the bill I received for this month and all the previous months are not as per the Plan.

    Calls in Roaming have been charged robustly.

    I have been billed @499 Plan and not as per 399.

    I have been billed for VAS Rs 100 which I never requested for,

    I have been charged for text messages in the last month bill.

    So, I called the Idea customer care to complain about all the above wrong charges levied to my bill but, I shocked with the answer given by "Raveena" that I have been charged as per the bill plan.

    She said, there is another Rental Plan @499 which has all this feature.

    So, I told her why I port this number into Idea was because of all this features offered.

    I asked to waive off all the wrongly levied charges on my bill however, she was keep on telling that she could not take request for the same.

    I also said, why I have been given wrong details while the activation of this plan however, she did not give any clarification about it.

    I am lodging a serious complain against Idea portability and features offered as I have been deceived by giving wrong details.

    This is the first time I took Idea however, I think Idea only believes in deceiving its customers and how to fetch money as higher as possible which I am not letting you do it.

    Please remove all the extra levied charges at the earliest and give me the revised bill to pay as per all the features offered at the time of the portability.

    I am not going to talk at all over the phone .

    If you at all want to resolve my query, please do it via email only.

    You people only tell lies over the phone and only know how to harass your customers and uses all possible abusive and filthy language.

    I do not want to receive even a single call from Idea. I do not know who the people you have hired, they do not know how to talk professionally over the phone.

    Each and every thing has to be done via this email communication only so that I should have records of it.

    It has been more than a month now however, nothing happened.

    I could not understand when I asked to communicate via email only why I have been keep on being contacted by phone only. Every time, they call and ask me to tell the query over the phone and each time I have said that I want only email communication and also told them that I have mentioned each and every query on the email. Then, why I am being asked the same query again and again over the phone.

    Today, again they called me and again asked the same question then, again I said to communicate via email only.

    After that, they have sent the below email which I never expected.

    I do not want any relation with Idea anymore. If Idea needs payments from my side, then I will pay a single amount after being waived off all the extra levied charges on all the bills since I too Idea and deactivate the Idea Sim.

    The outgoing call has already been barred by Idea without any notification and this number is not being used by me all. So, there is no meaning of sending bills after bills.

    Bill Calculation as per the Plan:

    1st Bill received: 03 October 2017

    13 September 2017 to 02 October 2017 (as per Pro Rata basis for 20 Days) : Rs 392.55 charged @499

    Bill Paid on 14 Oct 2017: Rs 392.55

    However, It had to be as per @399 as per Port offer (Offered by Idea at the time of activation of the Plan):

    Bill Calculation: RS 313.88 (266 + 18% GST) as per Pro Rata

    Discrepancy on the bill: Rs 392.55 - Rs 313.88 = Rs 78.67.

    2nd Bill Received: 03 November 2017

    From 03 October 2017 to 02 November 2017: Rs 592.36 charged @499

    Bill Paid Rs 593.00 on 18 November 2017

    However, It had to be charged @399:

    Bill Calculation @399: Rs 470.82 (399 + 18% GST)

    Discrepancy on the bill: (SMS Rs 03.00 charged wrongly) Rs 592.36 - Rs 470.82 = Rs 121.54

    3rd Bill Received: 03 December 2017

    From 03 November 2017 to 02 December 2017: Rs 664.14

    Complain Raised for the discrepancy on the Bill on 12 December 2017 via email after my query was not resolved on customer care via phone.

    Bill Calculation @399: Rs 470.82 + Re 01.00 (Idea Customer Care Charge) = Rs 472.00 (Rs 399.00 + 01.00 + 18% GST)

    Discrepancy on the bill:

    1. Rental Charge: Rs 100
    2. VAS Charge : Rs 100
    3: Roaming Charge: Rs 62.84

    Total Discrepancy on the bill: Rs 664.14 - Rs 472.00 = Rs 192.14

    So, total waiver calculation: Rs 78.67 + Rs 121.54 + Rs 192.14 = Rs 392.35

    Total bill for the December bill after waiver has to be Rs 271.79

    I wrote emails after emails to resolve my query by 18 December 2017 (Bill Due Date) and deactivate the Idea Sim however, it is going to be a month now and not a single action taken as of now.

    So, please resolve my query at the earliest.

    Now, today, I have received one more call from Idea that I the bill is still unpaid. I have already reiterated many times that I do not want to receive any calls from Idea. However, I have been keep on being contacted over the phone only.

    Is there anybody who can adhere to my concern and resolve it or should I take the next step further?

We've checked, the bill has been generated accordingly as per your plan, pack and usage charges for the month of December and as the dues weren't cleared the charges were carried forwarded in your current bill of January along with late payment charges. However, we would like to inform you that the late payment charges for the same has been reversed successfully from our end and you've received the discount of Rs.100/- for 6 months.       I disconnect idea service with 3100 rs bill balance. so i settled full and final as online transaction. so 3100 rs debited from my bank. but they suggest me to pay immediate on showroom as cash. so i paid 3100 rs on showroom also. SO total 6200 rs. now they are not return my extra amount.

        I am using idea postpaid for many years now.. From couple of months they are overcharging the bills kind of[protected] without even subscribing and not using single kb of data... All other operators are giving 1gb per day plus calling free for around 400rs for prepaid customere.. I had changed my poatpaid plans.. Customer service is as pathetic as idea's 4g speed.. I m really fed up of visiting and calling idea care... If idea doenst waive off and improve the network, soon i m going to consumer court coz i have got proofs for overcharging...

          I have received sms that my account is going to deactivate and i should use my money within 3 days.
          Guess what? I am unable to use my money with some error. I am trying this since last 2 days. Customer service is worst. They have no idea about what they were talking. I spoke with vrushali about this. She sent me mpin which din't help to resolve the problem second operator was pathetic. She din't even listed what i am saying to her and disconnect my call.

          There is no provision to activate your account again. Sorry, but very poor experience.

          I want your manager to look into it immidietely and fix my problem.
          I am not free to call you again and again for my money.

            Am having an problem regarding an wrong billing values given by idea postpaid telecom

            Actually on 14th of november 2017
            I leagally went through a process of changing my phone company to idea to aircel with the same postpaid number it took 7days for them to activate the aircel sim with the same number
            I have paid all the bills of my idea and was not having any dealing with them since i closed the account and that idea sim was diactivated on 17th november night itself.
            Later on 23rd of november the aircel sim go got activated and it was all going fine
            Later on 23rd of december i got an email from idea postpaid that i need to pay the bill amount of 568rs which i haven't used, can you understand?? They too the 30days of from 23rd of nov to 23rd of december
            Why should i pay tht money??
            I haven't used the sim and the sim is diactivated and nothing to use with tht sim card
            And why idea as billed is the wrong value
            Like this i questioned the coustemer care though call and they said you need to pay the bill
            But there is nothing wrong with me
            I haven't paid the bill yet
            I was keeping on think with this and that idea as keeping one calling me and my wife and speaking harshly which was not correct
            Am not going to pay the bill until i get the justice
            Why is this idea doing like this??
            I think you guys are the right person who can help me in this situation

              Dr dipak a customer of postpaid service of idea cellular ltd;
              I approached to ravi nagar nagpur (A franchisee of idea cellular ltd) about 4 months earlier with a request to change my postpaid service into prepaid, they clearly deny and said issue is beyond their authority and sim cards are not available so come after few days. When i went after 15 days they again deny me to resolve my issue saying the lack of trained staff.

                We are facing a lot network issue with idea from last one week. We have contacted to idea about it, but no positive response. We are also facing mobile data issue. Everyone at my home has idea number. Instead of getting resolved, more issues about network are arising day by day. So it has become very troublesome to work with such a bad network.                   Dear all

                  This is very unfortunate that my idea prepaid sim [protected] is not working in dubai (Uae).
                  Every time i am trying to register with uae local operator etisalat or du getting the below error
                  "your sim card does not allow connection to this network"

                  I am not able to access my email and online transactions. It's more than a month.
                  I am really disappointed, not getting in touch with my family/friends and also losing my business.

                    I had updated my sbi passbook today and to my shock rs.4996 was debited on 26/9/17 the detail just says othpg 259709 idea money. I'm unable to track other information. Kindly look into the issue. I remember a fake call asking for details on my account number during that period. It is bizarre to witness such issues happening for a middle class family like me who is dependent on pension for lively hood. Kindly look into the issue and revert.

                          I have ported recently from airtel to idea post paid after speaking to your customer care. I was totally cheated because you guys have said that the total bill amount will be between 380 inr to 390 inr (Including all taxes) and the internet balance promised was 1.5 gb - 4g data per day, roaming incoming free, (Local and std) mobile and land line calls free and also per day 100 messages. I satisfied with this plan and ported to idea from airtel.

                          But finally end of the day after porting i am getting only 10 gb - 4g data per month and remaining all calls are free with roaming and the plan is nirvana plan. The total bill amount is fully changed. One idea customer care person came to me for my aadhar card and finger print submisson, for final conformation i asked him about this plan, he also told to me about the same plan, its including all charges between 380 inr to 390 inr. (That person name siraj - [protected]. This number is not working from few days. I tried so many times)

                          Here i was totally cheated by your customer care people by not giving anything that was promised.

                          Is this how you treat the new customers. I will surely leave a bad impression on the network provider. I need proper explanations for all this or else this will be escalated to a regional head or someone higher authorities or may go legally.

                          Please take this seriously and solve asap.

                              I recently ported my Tata docomo Number into Idea then after 4 days a message came for calling at 59059 after 22:30 on 1 Jan 2018 . After that when I inserted SIM in Redmi note 4 first it shows 3G network and then no calls were coming not even recharges were coming . I spent 300 Rupees for it . But No response from Idea retailer . Kindly help me .

(I have no reason to know the score of match) while getting with cc executive who said that it was i who punched the code deliberately to request the details of match. What a shame on you people that you deduct /loot/steal money from customer account compelling him to believe what one has not done (Or very ignorant about that).
                                    There is a man out there trying his best for india on the other hand an indian company who has an easy access to the mobile accounts of citizen is stealing money leaving no evidence. (Its very had to find for the lay man)

                                        I ported to jio on 23rd nov from karnataka idea postpaid, and cleared all bills till 23rd nov. Recently i received bill to pay extra 394/- for pro-ration charges (Charged on data), even i have extra 900mb data apart from monthly plan. On what basis you charged pro-ration charges? Is it sensible to pay 394/- for 100-200mb data i have used on 23rd november? (Having extra 900mb data)
                                        If a customer is about to leave your company, will you do this kind of rubbish things, charging unnecessarily and excessively. (I even paid extra 70-80/- for idea.
                                        I even received clearance message from jio, stating that your previous telecom operator has cleared for porting.
                                        Need response from idea.

                                        At the same time, I have used 4.4GB from 15th Nov to 23rd Nov, and never exceeded 1GB daily limit those days.
                                        Can you tell me how you calculated over usage data? And why you have taken some other plan into consideration?
                                        In addition I have extra 1 GB data apart from monthly rental and why you have not deducted from extra 1 GB
