Sir,
I apply for migration from postpaid to prepaid for my idea number [protected]. I got email from idea customer care that my request for migration from postpaid to prepaid processed successfully but my sim still not activating even after 48 hours.
I was assured by idea store that my prepaid number will start after 10 hrs of deactivation of postpaid number but still nothing happens. Please resolve the issue at the earliest.

    Please note I checked plan of Idea recharge by dialing *121# which gave result as follows
    399-Unltd Calls +70GB 70D whereas message I received
    Recharge Done (Rs. 399 Unlimited calls with FUP 0.5GB data, 35 Days) surprised to note instead of 70 Days it is 35 Days? and instead of 70 GB it is 0.5 GB per Day which is 17 GB for 35 Days?

      I am an idea customer from last 7 years. On 14jul 2017, i called idea customer care to know about any special offers on my number. The executive (Probably her name was deepa) told about a recharge of rs.347 where i wil get 1gb 3g data per day and free calls (Daily 300 mins) for 28 days. Post completion of 1gb of each day, the speed wil be 2g for remaining usage in the day. I immediately recharged with rs.347. But the speed received was as poor as 2g. For 3 days i kept caling customer care and trying on different settings to get 3g, but to no avail. The customer care executive, with whom i came in contact on 17jul 2017, revealed that mine was a 2g recharge only and now nothing could be done for this. This was really shocking as when we are happily using 3g/4g speed, why would one switch to 2g. But idea has made this a new way of fooling customers with fraud recharges. Dont ever go for any idea connection. They are playing fraud these days.

        Sir my mobile no is [protected], lost my sim, and got a new sim from idea store no -:[protected] which is not activated yet.

        I am continuously calling customer care and visited idea walk in store but resolution done yet.

        This is my very old no and i am carrying it since last 10 years.

        I am suffering as my bank account, credit card, etc are linked to this no.

              Hi i ported my number [protected] from airtel to idea. But for activation i called two times to 59059 and both the times they told your number we are unable to find so plz try after some times. So afyer 5 minute i already tried 50 times at least but it was not connecting to 59059.

              So now what should i do??? If i cannot call 59059 then it vl nvr b activate.

                Sir,

                I have recharged my idea prepaid mobile no. [protected] with amounting 445 after receiving your message (Screenshot attached below).

                In the message company promised to give data 1 gb per day and unlimited local and std call for 84 days with a recharge of 445.

                After receiving message i confirm that offer from idea customer care executive and he says you can recharge through paytm and upon recharge with same amount 2 gb data is credited on my number instead of the offer promised by the company. Now customer care executive is saying that this scheme doesn't exist.

                Kindly look into the matter and please take corrective action

                  I have recharged with 497. Was informed that i will get unlimited calling and 1gb data every day but after 28 days my internet and outgoing calls are stopped. Customer care guy told me to recharge with any small amount and service will resume next day. No luck in getting the issue fixed and cant reach out to customer care now since 2 days. Seems like most of idea customers are in trouble:)

                    This is sorry to say that idea's service is so bad. Your representative and tl's don't know how to behave with customers on call and i think they also don't have any knowledge of process. My concern is that my is going to deducted again and again for last one week. Some services are going to activated automatically on my number. And when i called to your customer care they told me you have activate these services by yourself through internet. I am very tight to tell everyone when i open my data connection i get a message that your service request has been processed and amount got deducted. I have talked with many executives and many tl's but no one was able to provide me solution for this.

                    And mr. Rajat (Tl) don't have sense to talk with customers. He talked to me with a lot of arrogance. And i am not getting to understand why everyone asking to wait for 24 to 48 hours but after than i also don't get any call, any resolution from your end. And finally rajat asked to wait for 24 hours again. Am i mad for you and every customer is?

                    So i requested you kindly get in touch with me as fast as you can. Because i don't want to face this issue again. Otherwise i will port out this number. I don't need this type of sim. Call me on urgent basis on my below mentioned number.

                    Take a serious action on above mentioned issue and revert asap.

                        My name is ram prakash suri on 15th july i gave a request at idea show roomat dwarkanagar in vizag, andhra pardesh to convert 2 of my post paid numbers to prepaid. I filled applicatiosn and they gave me two prepaid sims and informed with in 2-3 days it will be converted.

                        We received a phone call from your technical team on 18th or 19th and my wife spoke to him and she informed him that we want to convert to prepaid and he gave some prepaid plans details.

                        I called cust care today to check the status of my request and they are saying it was not converted as we confirmed to our technical team that we dont want to convert to prepaid.. We never confirmed them about this. They are simply playing tricks and i feel this is worst way of earning money. I have 4 postpaid idea connections and i'm using from past few years.

                          I am having idea postpaid connection and using my idea app to see my charges. Now i have been charged about 400rs for internet.in myidra app its showing that my data remaining balance is 2.7gb. Now they have stop my internet services asaying i have overused the internet. I said that it should show in your app. Its not my mistake that i used more internet. I checked everyday and know how much data is remaining. Hence i want refund.in image you can see there is unbilled charge which is for extra internet used and data remaining balance is still showing 2.76gb remaining.

                            Dear Team,

                            Hope this email finds you well,

                            Please spend few minutes to go through the email,

                            I was a Happy Postpaid Customer with Vodafone, my number [protected]

                            until I had received a call from one of the 3rd party vendors I believe or a customer care representative,

                            who mentioned that we have an exciting offer with Idea, and requested me to Port to Idea

                            for which I denied in the first place,

                            But, after multiple calls from them, I had made up my mind to Leave my 10yr old honest network Hutch/Vodafone and Port to Idea for a Postpaid Package of 349,

                            I had submitted my documents on 6th of July, and I was told the Port would happen in 2-4 days, and he asked me to pay my pending bill for Vodafone, which I did on the same date

                            Now here the actual scenario begins,

                            1) After 2 days a Representative from Idea came to my house for verification without any prior information, spoke to my family members regarding the details, and Marked me as Negative in Verification,

                            2) when followed up with the Customer care rep, I was told that the whoever verification officer tried to call my number and it wasn't reachable, so he marked it as Negative, I'm not sure why he could not call me back again

                            3) Nobody tried to reach me, for nearly 7 days, when followed up on the 8th day I was told, that you got a Positive, and port would happen in another 2 days, and I was glad about that

                            4) After nearly 15 Days, after I followed up back, I was told it would be done in the next 24 hours, for which I received an email confirmation from Idea, that my Order request is being processed and will be done shortly

                            5) Today I got a call from Customer care mentioning that, I Need to pay the Bill of Vodafone for these 20 Days, failing which it is not possible to process the port request,

                            and I got an sms and email confirmation that, the Port request was successfully REJECTED

                            6) When asked about this to the Customer care executive, she politely said it was my fault for not paying the pending bill

                            Now,

                            A) Why did I get a Negative in the first place, and why dint the verification team tried to ever call me

                            B) If it was to be rejected, why did it take 20 Days to be rejected

                            C) If Not for the Delay, I wouldn't reach the End of Cycle for the Month of July Postpaid Plan

                            D) When Spoke to the Manager of the Customer care executive Name, Vijaya, From Nizampet Hyderabad, number [protected], She Educated me that I did not lose the Vodafone Connection, and questioned me, why are you so worried about it, pay the bill again and get back to us, so we can try once again for a Port Request

                            E) Is it not the Responsibility of the Customer Care to Track my request?

                            F) How can you call yourself a Customer Care Representative, when you are least bothered about a Customer who wants to Come to your Network?

                            G) Did I Submit any Fake Documents? or wasn't I paying the bill from the past 10yrs on this number to Vodafone

                            I feel very Embarrassed with this situation, that a Port Request can be Rejected for me,

                            I spoke to the Idea Customer Care Rep name Gautam, from the Postpaid department,

                            who mentioned that it was not their fault, and asked me to follow-up with Vodafone, and was in a very much hurry to Complete the Call,

                            When I again explained the scenario, he apologized for what happened

                            I would like to Escalate on the Team who handled my case, It is an office located in Nizampet Hyderabad

                            I would now go ahead and pay the Bill to my loyal Network Vodafone, and stay with them or move to Airtel as Vodafone doesn't have very good plans for now compared to other networks

                                I've recharged with idea 495 special offer, which its terms and conditions not clearly mentioned like regular offfer. After i recharged i got normal offers, i have the screen shots in hand, in special offer they mentioned free local/std calls but given like normal offer with limited idea to idea and 3000 other network minutes, data balance is ok. But the calling offer is changed.

                                  It is very sorry to say that on every alternate month a new service is activated by the company itself, without any consent just to inflate the bill amount by approx ₹150/-.

                                  This month in my july '17, bill company has charged ₹ 70 /- (@ ₹35/- per week) for "skill der by gaming service" on my mobile no. [protected], without any information or my consent.

                                  On speaking to customer care they show their helplessness in reversing the charges of the same and even they are also not aware about the use or benefit of this useless service

                                  It is very shameful for the company that they are adopting such practices to inflate the bill amount by cheating the customer & activating the pack by themselves.

                                  Hope the company will reverse the said amount charged for the service, which was never requested.

                                      I hv been using idea number from lastb8 years... Its is so bad to tell you that idea services has changed alot in recent time.. Such a poor network and pathetic customer services too.. I think the customer support dont bother about their customers. I have filed my complained many times.. But none of you have tried to solve my problem... Time to change my cellular provider now...
