They are clearly denying/rejecting my request to port from idea postpaid to any other operator, having no valid reason with them!

My number is [protected], I got SMS that blue Lima service activated and deleted 35/- rupees. I don't know what is blue Lima service.but I lost my money. Idea cellular Company is not taking any responsibility on this matter.

Most of the Idea customer care executives are useless and have no knowledge of their own company policies and services and have to be reminded and shown proof by telling them look this information is given on the company website for example the disconnected number can be activated within 15 days grace period after 90 days by paying 20 rupees which is given on the FAQ and activation links on the idea cellular website and all they say is our system shows your number is deactivated and we cannot help and if you try to email or call customer care they say to go and visit local idea office and they then tell you with confidence that they cannot help as they do not have authority to reactivate and number is gone permanently as their system shows the number is deactivated and they cannot reactivate etc etc. and when asked for their senior or to check with head office they say they will raise an email and by the time they have to respond the 15 days grace period is ran out and then they are just helpless as system recycles the number. after that if you ask for proof then they say we are not authorised to share the information about the email. Dont know if the owner of this idea cellular company is aware of this customer dissatisfaction as it brings sad and poor reputation to the cellular company and although there are consumer laws in India they are not been implemented strictly. These big companies should be penalised heavily how its in developed world so that customer satisfaction is top priority and not there silly excuses.

I am also facing same problem. I tried to call Idea customer care today. The executive first said that, ''please maintain INR 500 or above balance in your prepaid card'' and few minutes later he said, ''we do not have any tie-ups with German service providers. Sorry for the inconvenience.''

Their are many Idea users from the top management in my company who are frequent fliers. This is going to be a big problem for them. I hope Idea will come up with a solution for this soon. If not...yes...As you mentioned, porting is the only solution.

This is also not resolved and i had to pay 400 RS.
