I have made request for prepaid switching from my postpaid cno. [protected] on dated 30.03.2017 at idea store and it was informed to me that within 72 hrs. number would reactivated to prepaid whereas all due amount for pending bills and also Rs. 50/- for new sim got paid. Despite passing numerous days and after several email complaints still my number not got activated neither verification process initiated, I am facing lot of problems as this number I mostly known to my friends/relatives and felt instead of switching to prepaid I should have to port it with better service provider.

Regretting the day when took Idea number and now after making all payment still Idea is not ready to reactivate my connection.

    Hello, my name is sachin, i use idea sim, number is [removed] and as usual i had received an offer after dialing *121#, which is 498 rs, so i did a recharge of 500 rs, then i tried to recharge for that offer by dialing 1 as it was the first option, but nothing happened, no recharging facility for that one, so i called the customer care, they repeatedly said that offer has to be recharged online, or retailer only, so i requested them to recharge from your side, they denied, saying we can do it only for the plan recharges and not for offers, ok that was understood, then i looked out for plans, there was 505 rs recharge for 4g, which wasn't an offer, but a plan recharge, then i called the care back, and asked for this recharge if it exists, she said yes, then i requested to recharge it from their side, she denied, saying even this we can't do from our side, not this is absurd. i had almost recharged for 600 rs. They can't do offer recharge from their side, but now this wasn't an offer recharge! and what do i do now??

        yesterday I had done online recharge of rs.120/- the amount has deducted from my account and recharge successful message was shown in the website page.
        I have a screen shot too.
        it has been 24 hours but I didnt recieve amount in my mobile
        the idea costumer care was also giving poor worst responce...

          Hi,

          Idea Complaint Number: SR # C1-[protected].

          I received an Call from IDEA Customer Executive anmed Shabaz and team on[protected] to Port to IDEA network where they provided an False plan.

          Shabaz phone number: [protected], [protected]

          They Explained me about the 399 plan which has 15GB 4G/3G data and unlimted calls. I asked them whether that 15GB data supports for 3G handset as well, and they said Yes and they told its for life time.

          Actually that plan falls under 499, where first 6months they are giving 100Rs discount, so that it will be 399 which i got this info while activating network.

          I submitted Documents for Porting to IDEA from Vodafone under Porting ID: VX186458 dated[protected].

          I got an better offer from Vodafone of 349 plan and i submitted an request for Port Cancellation even i wrote an email to Vodafone customer care.

          I told about cancellation to IDEA customer executive and not to submit the documents.

          Even then i got ported to IDEA Network and while activation they explained plan falls under 499, where first 6months they are giving 100Rs discount, so that it will be 399 and 3GB 3G due to 3G handset.

          I filed an Complaint to verify this false plan given by them to us under Idea Complaint Number: SR # C1-[protected].

          Now they are telling they cant help as i have ported to IDEA.

          Requesting you to take an Action against IDEA Cellular and grant me what they had promised abt the plan.
          399 for lifetime, 15GB 3G data and unlimited calls.

            Hi

            My Phone Number [protected] is blocked by me on 22 march as my phone has been lost.
            Currently, i live in Delhi and My Phone number is registered on Maharashtra Network. I cannot get the duplicate sim in Delhi. I have tried on 3 Idea Customer Retail Stores in Delhi to get the sim but found no success. So now I have only one option left, I have sent my friend who is currently in Pune, Maharashtra But the customer store refused to give him the sim as it is Locked due to non retrieval of sim within 7 days .
            I have talked this thing at the time of Blocking the sim they told me to get the sim in 1 month. You can have the recording of 22nd march about this.

            The Store told me that they can provide the sim if i will be present personally. But I cannot Travel all the way to Pune from Delhi for the SIM.
            Opposite to that Customer Care told me that they cannot provide the same number to me and they have open it for sale.
            I am getting different info everytime i connect to different members of idea team .

            They did no provide a solution to me .

            I have already been extremely exhausted with this situation as I am in the new city and have to travel to find the stores here. Also, all my bank account and digital cash are registered on this number and to login, i need to Verify with OTP.

            I want that number, I request to please do not sell that number to any other customer and give me a solution so that i can have that number back in delhi

            The idea store has issued a sim after collecting the document and they have told me that it takes time to sim to activate . Its been almost 1 month and sim is still not activated.
            Please look in this issue

              It also charges by complaint no. I. E.12345 which should be free for everyone..
              It is also has uneducated agents which has no respect to thei customers
              When i says sir please sir help me to given topic, then he is starts to talk on something else only for increase their charges i. E. 0.5/3minutes
              I can says it has very ####'in services.
              It also not provides better knowledge about my balance deductions..
              They speaks so fast that nobody understands wisely.

                Today at 16:02 PM I got message from my network provider on my mobile that,
                Dear Customer,
                thank you for downloading mydala powered deal from MYDALA.
                You have been charged Rs. 29
                Your balance is Rs. 41.94.

                But the thing is that I didn't download anything of this sort.Neither I have MYDALA app.When talked to the customer care of my network provider (IDEA)
                about this, they said might be you have clicked on a pop up . I didn't click any pop-up or opened any link. Also nothing is downloaded and nothing is there in my history. This is cheating from Idea and mydala and I want my money back. Please look in to this issue as soon as possible.

                  I wish to register my complaint against the irritating behavior of the Idea showroom staff @ Ansh Communications, Shop No 10-11, Kasana Market, Mansa Chowk, Bhiwadi “.

                  On 4th, april 2017, I had approached the Idea showroom for converting my ideaa sim from postpaid to prepaid number. I had clearly told the executive to convert my sim postpaid to prepaid. I have been using the SIM for last 5 Years, it was postpaid and then I want changed it into prepaid and presently am using the postpaid sim. But after the above said that the internet not working properly, executive told my lie that internet not working. i have see that internet is working properly. finally we catch the lie of guy. finally he say that postpaid to prepaid no. not possible. he abused us continue say that here is mai nhi karoonga jo krna hai karle.
                  This was the clear mistake of the showroom people who had make us foolish, he was shouted and used abusing words against me and informed that he is not responsible for the issue and continue abusing us, and during this period of time I am facing first time this type of irritating behavior from an authorized centre of Idea cellular.
                  Please clarify the issue about that guy Pawan.

                  Due this poor customer service, I am breaking my five year last relationship with Idea and I will be available @[protected]

                    I have done recharge today (3rd April 2017 at 12:15 pm) through ideacellular.com . I recharged for 347 rupees and used debit card option . The amount was deducted from my bank account. However I have not received the benefit that idea company mentioned that is unlimited talk time and 28GB free data.

                      My name is Bhavik Shah from Pune. I portable my personal number from airtel to idea which i m using since 15yrs but after portability done idea and idea customer care support team is not able activate my number since last 3 days, today is 4th day my number is not in service so please look into this issue as on priority as that was my personal number. Very poor and slow service from idea. I switch to idea 1st time and they give me this service which is not expectable and not acceptable.
                      Please help me to getting my this issue as soon as possible, its a humble request.

                        Recently, i received a sms from idea cellular stating:

                        Dear customer,
                        Thank you for downloading mydala powered deal from mydala.
                        You have been charged rs. 29
                        Your balance is rs. 52.73

                        I don't know what this mydala is, i had neither visited its website nor idea cellular website.

                        Idea automatically activated the service and when i called them on 198 and then pressing 1-4-0 they had only one sentence, "you have downloaded my dala value pack and ₹29 has been deducted for the same."

                        When i asked for what's the use of the service, even they don't know what this service is.

                        They are providing a service and even don't know it's use. They only said that you have downloaded mydala value pack, but in reality i hadn't.

                        They only know one thing about this is that a download naming mydala has been performed for which we have deducted the money and they don't know what this download is, how this get downloaded, how to use this and what is its service.

                        Actually i have an unlimited 4g data pack activated on my idea no worth ₹349, so everybody knows if i want to download something they why would i use idea, i will directly download it from play store.

                        On further searching on google, i found around 5000 complaints about this mydala service and all of them belongs to idea cellular. I found that this is a promotion service from idea whose lisence is even expired on 31st december 2016 and idea is still providing it.

                        I am using idea from around 5 years and haven't had any problem but this time they broke all the records and said only one sentence, "you have downloaded mydala value pack and has been charged for the same."

                        How to believe on such a service provider like idea cellular which even don't know the use of the expired licence service provided by it.

                        They only said call 121411 for more information.

                        I even know that writing this complaint will not make the idea to listen to my words, but still i have e some hope on indian judicial system that i will get justice.

                        The only i want is my balance of ₹29 refunded to my mobile no [protected] and an apology call from idea cellular.

                        If the above said is not processed within 10 days, i am surely going to a fast track court. It's not about the money, it's about a non-sense service.

                        Recently, I got a call from Idea Cellular.

                        They only know one thing that I have used the service and no refund will be given.

                        Around from three days they are calling me and saying the same words like a parrot that you have used a non-sense service called MYDALA and this could not be refunded according to their rules.

                        I have already stated that I have never used such a service and is wrongly deducted for a charge of ₹29. I have also received a message which I am enclosing here:

                        Dear Customer, Your concern for wrong deduction could not be resolved. Kindly contact customer care. SR 1-[protected]. Thank You

                            I am raj sharma son of mr. Jay prakash sharma, am professionally a student residing at.
                            I received the call by this n0- [protected], and the date is :[protected], timing is-11am with the reference name of home shop 18, they said me that am get an offer to purchase rs-5000, home accessories is only at rs-4000.
                            Am regular costumer of home shop 18, and before that i had purchase lots of products online from home shop 18, so therefore i trust the call and paid them rs.4000 amount (Four thousand only) through prepaid option, there after they give me a commitment that they will delivered my products, within this date[protected] & time 3. O clock pm, but still now i have not got any product.
                            And now i do lots of call to them, but they are not received a call or sometime the number said switched off.
                            So kindly help me in this matter.

                              Sir,
                              Maine idea ka 28 days pack paytm se 31.03.17 ko recharge kiya aur mera balance kat gaya but mera recharge nahi huwa So maine 01.04.17 ko phir se recharge kiya aur mera recharge ho gaya. After one day my 31.03.17 ka recharge bhi ho gaya, sir maine idea main baat ki to wah bole ki ye aap ki galti hai aap ne 2times recharge kyo kiya.hum paise nahi wapas karenge. Sir main 28 days ki service ke liye double paise kyo doon. This is cheating . Jab meri ake rechageho gaya tha toh dusra cancelled ho jana chaiye tha ya service 56 days ki honi chahiye .Sir plz help.

                                I had done pay bill 522 Rs on 02/03/2017 on idea cellular app from net banking (SBI) . The bill is not yet cleared . I submitted bank statement at idea care two week before. I suffered lot of pain because my calling are barring .
                                After back to back follow up from idea care not resolve my bill.
                                Also lot of follow up from idea customer care my problem not solved.

                                My life is frustrating coz of barring outgoing calls and internet.

                                    Deducting service charge for shooting stars service that i never subscribed. I talked to customer care on 2 APR 2017 at around 12 and said that i never took this service and i don't want it, but she did not replied properly.

                                    At 2:00 PM i again go charged for the same service as renewal charge, when i called customer care i was said that charges will not be refunded.

                                    I talked to a lady named Gomti in idea customer care. I called from Bhopal.

                                      DETAILS: Wanted to switch from 3G to 4G, which required a SIM replacement. Called up Customer Care and was informed that this would be done for free. Went to nearby Idea Store(which was far away). The gentleman at the store asked me Rs. 100 for the card. He said that the free SIM cards were out of stock in December and that I'd have have to go to Nampally(even farther) in order to get a free one. I pay the amount. I demand a receipt for the amount paid, and the guy at the store refuses to give it to me. I come back and ask about the same procedure(3G to 4G upgrade) to Idea customer care. This time again, he says the SIM card would be free. I inform him about the amount demanded by the people at the store. He says I don't have details please contact the Merchant. So in the end, there's no one willing to answer questions from the other end. Charged an amount for no reason.
                                      RESOLUTION: Need a better phonetic support from their end. Also, they need to keep a keen eye and eradicate fraudulent activities practiced at their stores. And I do expect a refund

                                        I have transferred my corporate no. [protected] to my individual id 15 days before and my no. Was not working from last 15 days.
                                        The new sim provided to me is not activated and this is showing no networks.
                                        What should i do?
                                        I think choosing idea was my worst option.
