      I submitted a request to port my postpaid airtel no into idea prepaid but facing a cheated behavior from idea. mail conversations are as under but undelivered...

      Mail received from Idea when i submitted the request :-
      On Wed, Dec 28, 2016 at 10:34 AM, wrote:
      Dear Customer, your request for a Idea Connection is registered and would be actioned within 8 Hrs. through Lead ID L[protected] .We thank you for preferring Idea cellular and look forward to servicing you. Our sales team would shortly get in touch with you.

      I replied today as under :-

      Dear Sir,

      in furtherance to the trail mail, I have received a call from no [protected] named Ms. Tanushri, she told me that an executive from idea will reach to me and collect my docs soon and she also advised me to pay the due amount of my previous operator after handover the docs.
      Next day a field executive came to me and collect the copy of my passport, one photograph and 140 Rupees cash as fee for porting my no from airtel postpaid to idea prepaid. He told me that I should pay the due amount of previous operator only then when we called you again and asked to do so, till then I shall wait.
      After a few days i received a call from Ms. Tanushri, she told me that my request has been canceled due to outstanding amount of my previous operator. I told her that your executive advised me not to pay the bill until and unless you called me again otherwise i would pay it on the same day itself.
      She apologized of this wrong advise given by that Idea Executive and asked me to pay the bill so that she can close the matter and my no will be converted into idea prepaid within 5 days or so. As per the instructions i have paid my all outstanding amount of airtel i.e. Rs 560 on the same day and my outstanding became -0.75 on 31.12.2016.
      I informed about this to Ms. Tanu and she again asked me to send the docs again as my previous docs have been misplaces. I again send her the docs and she assured me that my idea sim will be started within 5 days.
      This is to inform yo that i got no response so far. This is totally a careless attitude.
      I was so existed that i am going to be a customer of idea as we already have 8 connections of idea prepaid in my family but these type of things really harassed the customers as well as me.

      Your kind attention is required here on urgent basis.
      I humbly request you to port my no at the earliest possible. My porting no is [protected] and UPC is AD558252 valid till 13.01.2017.

          Dear Sir,

          Ihave an post paid connection for last two years MY MOBILE NO. [protected]. and i want prepaid connection instead of post paid, and i have so many times visited the your IDEA centre chetakpuri gwalior, but did not get any response.They told me that they not have any simcard for the same.
          I want prepaid connection for port out from idea, because they reject my request 4 times, due to invalid reason"outstanding amount"
          I am already submit advance payment before port request.

            I wanted to recharge my idea SIM card. So I checked for any offer if available on Idea cellular website. Website showed the offer of 2GB 4G/3G data + Rs.100.00 talktime validity 28 days on recharge of Rs. 148.00. so I recharged my idea account by online payment of Rs.148 on 5th January 2017. And I have got the SMS stating that the offer will be updated very soon. When I checked my balance I have seen that I have got only 512mb data and only for 14 days. This is the cheating by idea cellular.
            I am attaching three snapshots as a proof showing

            2. SMS showing balance.
            3.recharge and payment details
            Kindly look in the matter and resolve the issue as early as possible.

              Hi,

              My idea number is [protected] and I have activated an internet pack I.e for new smart phone and the charges for this pack 255 that is valid for one month and the term and conditions for this pack are
              The service is automatically activate for three months or three times .
              But this service is activated on my number five time and I called idea customer and they said we'll arrange a call back for you but I didn't get any valid response from idea.

              So can you please review my details and revert me ASAP .

                My name is Vinay Singh, my wife had a 2 month outstanding amount of 1648 Rs. Today my wife, my family and friends were bombarded with calls from one Aarohi Sharma from Idea from the numbers [protected].

                First she threatened my wife and then me and told us that she will call all her contacts, if we did not payup, I went ahead and immediately paid up but she started calling my inlaws, friends and spread the word about us how pathetic we are.

                I feel extremely humiliated and insulted. I have 5 more idea mobiles in my family and we all are planning to shift.

                Just wanted to know the impunity with which Aarohi operated, despite so many complaints against you in this website, it seems your higher-ups completely back such behavior for forcing the payment.

                Extremely disgusted with the idea.

                  This is w. R. T to my postpaid bill for mobile number [protected], my typical bill is around 400 however i changed my plan from idea i plan 199 to idea i plan 399.

                  The plan was changes successfully, however unfortunately idea continued to charge my data usage on pro-ration basis without giving me any information and in the end when the bill generated it was around 14 35 rupees. I raised them my concern well before the bill generation but they kept saying to wait for bill generation.
                  What a pathetic service provider idea is... I have two idea postpaid numbers, and am going to port them to other operator as am not getting satisfactory response from them.

                  They are looting me. : (

                    Recently requested for transfer of my Idea number from postpaid to Idea prepaid. My request for above was forwarded by Idea Gallery (located in Vasai west, pin: 401202) on 28th December, 2016. But the request was denied by the Idea back-end / customer care representative, giving the silly reason of technical problem, & further asked me to re-forward the same request through the same Idea Gallery (office). My same request was forwarded twice on 03rd Jan, 2017. Pertaining to this, I received a call from Idea back-end / customer care representative on 04th Jan, 2017 for my confirmation on the above request. I confirmed the said request and pled to transfer/ convert my Idea number from Postpaid to Prepaid at the earliest. Later, the same day (ie. on 04th Jan, 2017) at 1:00pm, my Idea postpaid number showed no service/ Emergency calls only on my mobile, which obviously meant that I am ready to use the new Idea prepaid SIM. So, I changed this postpaid SIM to the new idea prepaid SIM in my mobile, but the services were not activated (it showed 'No service'). Today is 05th Jan, 2017 and still the message 'No service' is shown on my mobile for the new Idea SIM. It's totally unfair to not have any Idea network/ service/ signals received / activated on my new SIM or temporary signals on my Idea postpaid SIM.
                    My complaints against IDEA CELLULAR are 'Why was the connection to the new prepaid SIM not activated when the service of my Idea Postpaid network was deactivated/ disconnected ? How can a customer be without a phone connection/ service ? And, why it wasn't informed to me of such deactivation of Idea services from both postpaid & prepaid SIMs same time? If service of postpaid SIM were deactivated then the service of prepaid SIM has to be activated. If the process of transfer from postpaid to prepaid takes time, then this process should have been internal (within IDEA team), why are the customers made to suffer like this? Isn't there any strict procedures of IDEA CELLULAR ?

                        I am using IDEA postpaid connection.last month i activited CUG SERIVCE in my number and my fiance number, , , , after this someone in BHAVNAGAR GOGHA CIRCLE BRANCH member change my plan, i dont know abot this, but when i m going there, she was telling me sorry, but thats not my mistake, so why i shoud pay this bill, The bill generated this time includes the cost for the calls that are free according to my cug. The bill amount is around four times the bill i usually get.They are threatening me to pay the bill otherwise my number will be disconnected. Why should I pay four times the services I have used and that too because of their mistake? My Mobile number is [protected] & [protected] Please help me out if possible and teach these IDEA people a good lesson.

                          This complaint is regarding the Idea network problem.

                          I want to bring your kind notice that my village (Parli) is located near by Anupshahr Tehsil district Bulandshahr, Uttar Paradesh. we face alot issues in network connectivity in all network. Village people (approximate - 1000 people) are using mobile in my village but all facing network problem and call drop problem since last 5 years also want to inform that near by villagers are also facing same problem from long time.

                          I request to look into the problem.

                          Your team suggested me that i should change my mobile network to some other network if I am not getting network.

                          He said that this is the best possible network from Idea side.

                          I asked that you can increase your signal strength and tower as well for better network, he replied that it is not possible.

                            I had port out from Idea network to Reliance communication, in December 2015. I had cleared all my outstanding dues with Idea, and then opted for the port out. As we all know, without clearing all the dues, we will not get the permission from the respective network to port out. For clearing the dues, I made a call to idea authorized customer care number ([protected]) and asked them for the total due on my mobile number. As per the discussion with the customer care executives, I have made the payment and in fact I have made payment more than the amount said by them.
                            The port out request was successfully completed by both the ends and I was able to use Reliance network. After using Reliance for 3 or 4 months, again I have opted to port out from Reliance and then went to Vodafone. This request was also successfully completed and I’m now using Vodafone.
                            Here the problem is with Idea network. Some of Idea network executives and their third party agencies are continuously making calls to me and they are asking me to clear the dues, which were pending when I used Idea network. In the morning also I got a call from mobile number: [protected], which belongs to Shop No. 5-9-62, KLK Estate, Basheerbagh, Hyderabad, Telangana - 500001. But I don’t understand, how can Idea gave me the permission to port out from their network without clearing all the dues?
                            If I get any call regarding the pending dues, I should get a call from Idea authorized customer care number. But I’m continuously getting calls from various agencies (one of them is mentioned above), who are all these people to call me for the payment. These idea network executives and their agency people are misbehaving with me and are irritating me by several times in a particular day.
                            They are damaging my reputation and they are also disturbing my peace, I want to lodge a defamation suit in the court of law on idea network and their third party agencies.
                            Request you to take the necessary action on Idea as well on their agencies.

                                I have applied and paid for 3 months Idea broadband plan. They installed connection but didn't provide router installation though they said installation is free with 3 months plan. they only made the connection on one of my laptop.
                                I repeatedly called them for this issue but they just registered my complaint and did nothing.
                                Now I don't have complaint numbers as my smartphone is formated due to some reason, they are saying I didn't make any complaint.
                                Also, I have subscribed for 3 months prepaid plan they continued my connection and now asking me for pay outstanding bill with interest.

                                  My name is kittanna shetty idea network user since last 6 years.
                                  Recently i need a unlimited call pack so i asked customer care executive for it. So they suggested me 345/- pack. And nothing about free data available and other conditions. But when i recharged 345/- my existing 3g pack was cancelled. But the free is only about 2g and 4g data. I’m using 3g handset. So free 4g & 2g data why should affect my existing 3g pack?
                                  So the real upset was when i called customer care. Someone picked first and just listen me and holded my call later on he ended the call without answering me.
                                  I called again and executive transferred call to supervisor. But he talked with me very badly. I hope you can take the records in my number and listen.
                                  Finally i said that just register a complaint and i will give time to solve and said that ask with your officials. But he refused for it. And also i can here he was scolding with bad word first letters.
                                  Some points you should remember. I’m using this number without porting since 6 year. I don’t need the answer that your internet pack like that.
                                  There is so many network providers available who offering unlimited calls less that idea price. Even i choose to recharge 345/- in this network. If one who recharges that much amount and you are giving the service like this then what about the people who are recharging 5/- to 30/-?
                                  I referred many of my friends and relatives to buy or change to idea in my 6 years usage of idea. But if idea giving service like this how can i refer? There is no way without changing my network.
                                  Yes this is a petty thing for the company that one of its user changed your network. It’s ok.
                                  But finally i’m giving time upto 10/01/2017. I hope only positive replay from your side. Otherwise don’t replay.

                                    I rightly decided to port my idea number to reliance recently. After submitting relevant documents with reliance, i was given a time window of 15 days before the porting was successful. My expected porting date was 12/12/2016 00:00hrs.

                                    I paid my outstanding bill for november 2016, as well as rs. 300 extra as precautionary usage charges for 12 days of december 2016. Meanwhile i was also using rs. 500 lvp internet pack. I opted for [protected]@rs. 250 for december 2016, and did not use the entire volume until 12 december. When i had a few mbs left, i switched off mobile data and my porting to reliance was successful on the night of 12 december.

                                    Now, today i receive a call from idea seeking rs. 2009 as bill amount for december 2016. I immediately asked for itemized bill and they show prorated usage charges (That was never mentioned before in any communication received from their end, nor in any advertisement, plan info, any document whatsoever) a little over rs. 2300, subtracting the 300 rupees i had already paid, they claim am outstanding amount of rs. 2009.

                                    This amounts to gross misinformation and mental harassment of customers and i am willing to drag you to court over this issue unless you resolve it promptly. It's not a matter of a few thousand rupees, but that of beach of rules and intentional misinformation to customers. As i see here, i'm not the only one affected, and seemingly i won't be the last either. So you really need to look into your operational loopholes, or face consequences.

                                      I have been using idea cellular no. [protected] as post paid connection. Under some iplan from idea. At the time of giving connection idea person told me i can change my iplan packs anytime as per my usage. But he or any other idea person never told me that changing in packs will cost me amount as regular charges of idea for previous usage. When i received bill for that month i was shock as it was more than 2000 rs. Which was not even used by me. I asked about it to idea customer care they told me i am charged as something called prorated or i dont know what they call it. They wanted to tell me that i cant change packs in between of billing cycles. Than whats the use of iplan, now my billing amount is 3750 rs. Now they are calling on the name of police to my relatives and me and telling me that i have been booked under ipc 405 and 420 aditya birla group. Surprise when i called back the same number for asking which police station the person didnt replied satisfactory answer and it was charged me rs. 5/- per minut. I tried to contact idea for this matter to solve out but they just reply i have to pay amount as billed, as per my usage my bill should not be more than 400/500rs. Why should i pay for what i have not used, why they are cheating with people like this, and why nobody is doing anything for this,
