I am using the number [protected] since 2004 with bsnl network and shifted to idea network using mnp around 3 years back. On 9 april 2016, i observed that there is no network through my sim and it displayed a message "unable to connect to the network right now" while trying to search for it manually. When the problem persisted, i approached idea care center in kukatpally. They mentioned that the number is inactive and asked me to inform the same in kphb idea care office. When i approached idea care in kphb, they said that my number is inactivated because of not in use.
When i have all my bank accounts, gas connections, a balance of 200/- and even my aadhar card linked to that number, how can it be not in use? When i asked the same question, they turned the point and said that they called me up on my number and there was no response. I asked for the call logs or recordings if any that are made to my number, they are left with no response. Also they asked me to approach bsnl care as it is a bsnl number.
After that, i called up idea customer care, visited idea care centers multiple times, tried to submit all my documents, waited for days, but in vain. In my last call to customer care, they mentioned that my sim is damaged. This seemed to be a new cooked up story to me. Now they are saying that they permanently disconnected my number and they can not do anything about it
