I am having a post paid connection of idea cellular. last month heavily i faced drop call service on every call . I called many times customer care and launced the complaint and specifically told that i wont pay for the call drop service and i wont pay bill if you charge for it.because of this drop call i faced a loss of amount 4 lac and had major trauma at family side. they sending a bill of over charged and asking me to pay late fee and all. which i am not at all interested to do.I want my compensation the mental trauma they gave and the loss i made. they every day send their promotional sms and torchring for which i am not interested. now every alternate day they send me sms to pay bill to avoid outgoing calls. the funniest thing is that they have already stopped my outgoing calls a week ago and today from customer care executive calling making and asking when i willpay my bill. i told them i will launch complaint to consumer forum and they take it very lightly to trying to make fun of me that good you launched complaint as if nothing is going to happen to them.

please take it very seriously and take action

    My name is Praveen Kumar i have a idea no. [protected] that is disconnected yesterday because of no calling
    Right now i am in uk doing some course and i will use here that mobile for receive messages and also send messages and i am useing this no from last 5 years
    I will spok with one of idea man he told me if you are not useing SMS, DATA or CALLING within 45 to 90 days your no can be disconnected
    But around 20 day before i will spend arond 200 rs in order to sending messages from my no
    Than how will they disconnect my no

    This no is very important for me and i dont want to lose
    Right now i required transfer money from my indian account to my UK account but it is not possible without my registered mobile number
    This money i have to pay to my college
    Right now i am in big problem because of my disconnected Number from Idea
    I dont know what should i do if they don't start my no than i will lose my
    1600000 INR and lose my 14months those i will spend hear for my course

        Hi sir
        My idea number is [protected]. This number i was reacharge it 159 rs. On 1 gb 3g data...As per condition tomorrow i activate a offer 7 rs. In 400 mb at night 12:16 am.When i reacharge it my main data balance hi 850 mb some thing but suddenly i have lose all internet data...I cal the customer care but there are also not response..I request to u please check it otherwise..In this matter i will go to the court and complained him..Fake company

          Dear IDEA service provider,

          I am really disappointed and frustrated with your totaly bad service, this is my idea no.[protected] and I had balance in my account Rs. 255 at 12:10pm at night on date[protected] and suddenly I got a massage at 12:15pm on date[protected] by your company that your 80 Rs. has been deducted because you had called out of country this information I got when I called your cc no. at 198. And when I asked them to refund my money back they said that sir you had called.

          But I wanted to say this is totally frustrated and bad service which I have got by idea company.

          Everything we know and we are graduated enough where to call or not.

          So from now onwards I will never want to be a part of idea company until you do not refund my money back.


          And also no any complaints registered by any concern person there at 198.

          I want my money back within 24 hours.

          I just want to say that refund my money back otherwise I will have to use RTI or whatever I can do in regards my money.

          Whatever discussed or addressed it had already been discussed with the cc at 198 at the time when my amount was deducted and this is not a solution that u said sorry sir I can not help you your money can't be refund.

          I know I didn't call out of country..if your system is showing or not doesn't matter.


          So from now onwards I don't want to be a part of IDEA.

          And whatever i have been using since 2005 all the idea's postpaid normal and CUG(150) connections will be refusing or porting on tomorrow.

            My complaint is regarding the andhra pradesh number i have. Despite not sending any of the input from my side, magic box had been subscribed on my number since nov, 2015. L have tried to deactivate the service but it says the input is invalid. Then i also tried to call 198 and 12345 but it says my no. Is invalid.They continued to deduct rs 45 every 15 days from then. Now in april i tried to do it from idea app also it didnt work, said something went wrong. Then again i tried from sms the sms went unsent. I was mentally tortured. Then i tried calling 198 for once i accidently pressed 1 instead of 2 for language from then every time i am calling 198 the lady keeps on talking in telugu and tells me only about vas if i am pressing any odr input, the call is getting disconnected, then i tried 12345 from there also, when i tried to call customer care executive it says invalid number. After getting frustated i called dehradun cust. Care, thanks to them they gave me another andhra pradesh cust. Care no. I talked to them, they didnt refund the amount worth 450 which has been deducted till now. I talked to superior cust. Care executive, rekha, of andhra pradesh circle. I even told them that i can send them screen shot. Irony is that i tried googling what magic box does, l didnt get any information. I didnt use even 0.1% of it. This is a total mental torture for me. Surely has made me to port my no. To some other service. Service is really bad they have just taken the money not even addressing the main problem

              Today i got a msg from company of recharge of 11 rs for 30mb 1d 3g.But i haven't done any recharge of this kind because my 199 2g plan was done on 9th april so why i should do 1 day 3g plan company is doing something wrong with customers.And when i call on 198 complain no.The customer care employee started fighting with me.When i tried 2nd time 198 no.They put my no.On busy tone.This company is now worst going not giving any special offers no call rates nothing.Now my 2g plan has stopped because of this 3g recharge i have loss of 199 rs as my validity is going to over in may.

                Idea ap have charged me about 1300rs as pro ration charges, they took hours of my life on customer care call, no proper justification. Are they looting us ?
                I activated a add on pack when internet of my monthly plan ended, nowhere they mentioned about pro ration charge on my idea app from where i activated the pack. If it is mention 250rs for a add on pack, it should charge only 250rs, why the hell 1300rs pro ration, they never notified me nor they give any details about these pro ration charges on my idea app. Are people fool to give 1500rs just for 750 mb ? They are making blunder out of it.
                I am going to complaint this in indian consumer court. Whoever have the same concern please contact me. My mail id is j.Y.[protected]@gmail.com. Lets stand up for our right. Jaago grahak jaago.

                    I am an employee of sbi. One of Idea's sales executive offered me a corporate postpaid plan with 500 + service tax 1.5 GB 3G net, 1000 minutes. As per product explained by sales executive I paid on my time but it still shows as payment is pending. As of now my internet service has been suspended. Kindly look into the matter and take action accordingly.

                      I have converted idea postpaid to prepaid .That time they took bill amount of rs. 200 for bill payment and extra sim.Later they still send me additional bill of rs. 308.As i was told 200 was the final amount of bill payment still made a outstanding amount of rs .308 .And last two days they are giving me threatening calls that i will have to go court for this. Even though this is small amount.Why i should pay if it's idea company staff and idea system mistake .
                      Please kindly ask to revert the bill payment and apology expected for such a bad behaviour from idea not expected this from idea cellular.

                      I have called before to customer care but they either ignored my issue and blamed me for not paying.This time i written on social media.Idea customer care themselves called me and discussed on the issue where i explained them all the scenario again but this time they accepted the inconvenience caused to me and the issue i addressed to them about their system.It was there system issue where they where not able to calculate the final amount while converting postpaid to prepaid and the bill raised as it was calculated on different call and data rate.I explained them how the bill amount would have been reduced if there system would be proper.I got ready to pay half amount as i understood some service i have used and not paid .So the idea cellular got ready to give me waiver of 150 rs but as it was already converted to prepaid they topup a talktime of 150rs. and i paid the final bill amount.

                          Hi, this is siddhant mayekar. My mob no is [protected].I have used idea postpaid connection 4 to 5 months and i am not using that connection from december 2015 due to bill disputes.I have received wrong bill in the month of oct 2015 for that reason i have raised complaint against the bill which was wrongly provided by idea cellular .Till date issue not resolved even that today, i got call from - soniya sharma she said that we are from delhi court and we are lodged the fir against your dues of icms pvt ltd and your case will be handled by mr ashokumar and she had given me contact no of him that is [protected]..Discussed with mr ashokumar he said that he is advocate and case has been raised against dues of idea billing . The thing is that i have not used internet on idea, i was using airtel 3g gprs.I have been charged as a base tariff plan and i have received 2700 rs of bill .I have raised complaint for the same and also i have received calls from the customer care of idea that we will pass you waiver of 1500 rs.You should be done reaming payment .I asked them for the dispute and i agreed to pay 800 rs at that time but the idea employer said we cant pass u 1500 rs of waiver.That the reason case has been not closed till date but getting calls for the payment and they are threatening me . Its my humbled request to u those peoples who are calling, plz stop nonsense activities otherwise i will go to the step by step . I am not going to make the payment till case not resolved .I am ready to 800 rs any time as my base tariff plan.

                            Dear Sir,
                            I, Subramani Krishnan a Reliance Telecom subscriber with mobile no. [protected]. Previously I was with Idea Cellular and had got MNP done in the month of December 2015. My billing cycle in Idea cellular end on 27th of every month. I sent request for MNP on 29th November 2015 and paid the outstanding amount of Rs. 3754/-. Infact I made a payment of Rs. 4000/- so as there are no issues with regard to dues during the course of the MNP. I called the Idea call centre (call records can be verified) regarding dues and they informed me that there are no dues and subsequently I got my portability done to Reliance. On 16.04.2016 my staff (received call at the alternate number [protected] given during the connection taken from Idea cellular) got a call from number [protected] who introduced himself as Thana Prabhari from Gandhinagar PS Gujrat and he informed that a FIR has been lodged against me i.e., Subramani Krishnan vide complain No 22 (FIR No -7/116) u/s 420 A1/B1 and the case is pending with DIG and the FIR is lodged by Idea Cellular through Advocate S K Mullick ([protected]). My staff spoke to the advocate and he informed that in case an amount of Rs. 2070/- is not paid by 1 pm the case will be forwarded to the local police station and strict action will be taken. My staff taken aback by this incident paid the amount at an Idea cellular centre and confirmed the said people over phone about the payment and my staff informed me about the event. I called up the number [protected] and got to know that he is somebody from Investigation cell Delhi. I have no clue from which investigation cell he belonged to. I was shocked to hear how a person can use the DIG’s offices name and threat general people like us. Not only my image has be tarnished but I have almost got into depression.
                            As a law abiding citizen I would like to bring it to your notice that my payments were always on time there is not even a single instance of delayed payment. It is a well known fact that MNP is not possible if there are any dues which I confirmed during the course of MNP and their people only clarified that there are no dues and portability was done to Reliance. It is extreme professionalism by one of the well known corporate of India. It seems they have forgotten the value and ethics of doing business. I request you to look into the matter and take strict action against them so that general people are not made scape goat and troubled like this.

                              I am not getting end result for my below mentioned mail to idea customer care & my number is not yet activated. Can you please take it into notice?


                              Dear idea,

                              This is in reference with communication id c1-[protected]. Received your mail confirmation of successful process of migration of postpaid to prepaid migration of mob. No. [protected] on 6th april 2016 & i had completed the procedure for the same on 4th april 2016 but till the date my mobile no. Is not activated.

                              Is this much the time required to a company like idea to complete the procedure??? Do idea customers should wait or keep their no. Off for this much time???

                              Let me know your procedure completion period for migration of postpaid to prepaid. Otherwise i have to port the number to other network as i have already started using airtel services by having very worst experience o[censored]sing idea network since last 1 year. If idea network is not interested for giving services to their customers then we also not interested o[censored]sing idea network.

                              Also my second complaint is i have done all the process for migrating the no. From postpaid to prepaid by paying rs. 1380/- to your my idea oulet at katraj named dignity cellular & name of the representative is mr. Sachin. Mob. No. [protected] from which i have received the confirmation by idea of bill paid rs. 1230/-

                              Bill charged details i received by dignity is as follows :-

                              1. Last bill outstanding rs. 660/- (Which was actually rs.658/- check at your end)
                              2. Unbilled amount till 04/04/2016 rs. 140/-
                              3. Monthly rental rs. 99/- (Though i have use services for 21/03/2016 to 04/04/2016 & not for full month)
                              4. Monthly rental for internet pack rs. 250/- (Though i have use services for 21/03/2016 to 05/04/2016) & actual rental was offered to me by idea as award was rs. 175/- for 3 months (Check my previous bills)
                              5. Form fee rs. 50/- (Which was not mentioned by idea customer care while communication on 198)
                              6. Life time incoming charges for prepaid idea services rs. 102/-
                              7. Taxes of rs. 77/-

                              Please check & let me know though i have not used your services for month till had to pay for total retal of full month & also the misguidance of rental of internet of rs. 250/- instead of 175/-.

                              I want clarification or pay me back all extra amount i have paid to dignity celluler, katraj pune. & let me know when my mobile no. Will be activated for prepaid use or should i port the number to other network.

                              Idea services are always suffering me by one or other reasons since last 1 year thats why i took decesion to migrate. If you peaple are now again failing to serve me the i please take my request for port the no.

                              Please get back to me on above all the issues by either mail or my other no. [protected] or [protected].

                              Awaiting for your positive reply & convey your outlets to stop misguiding your customers & to earn extra money from your customers. I will rate idea as " a service which fools people on charges".

                              I have already submitted postpaid to prepaid migration form along with the id proof of pan card & adharcard. (This is fyi)

                              This is warning to you if my idea mob. No. Will not get activated within 24 hrs & re embers my money then i will post this mail on fb & tweeter.

                                I have taken new sim from ma shakti telecom at indore for account of new number activation at 12 april 2016. I have already given a copy of voter id and local reference for attending the verification call but unfortunately till the 20 th april they are not taking any single response to get the activation.Since i am totally new for indore city and i have made thousands of call to idea executive mr pankaj([protected] and [protected]) and other members also idea retailer and shop also.Please make the petition that can be culprit should be notice and please give me suggestion to start my new activation of sim also.You are here by humbly requested to please take your time for action towards this new number activation.In the day time i can not to move the city because i am newly working professional shifted to the city and i dont know to whom to be meet regards the matter.Shopkeeper tells to meet idea executive and idea executive forwarding to shop retailer.Just i am moving here and there as customer but there is no course of action. I am ex termly looking forward to hear from you.

                                    On 14 april 2016 Rs 60, deducted from balance for fun star music being its not been subscribed by me.As I receive the msg I unsubscribed it and contact customer care they said ant won't refund .Thats pathetic situation being without any subscription amt deductd and service subscribed unknowngly.I want to refund the amt deductd with the service .
