I got a call form idea customer care to change my plan from 499 corporate plan to 549 plan so that i can use 2 gb data per month, but no body said that after using that 2gb data, i will be charged extra if i use extra kb, and due to that my bill was for 1882 inr.. i am using idea services for last 1.5 years, hardly my charges was not more than 1200inr, but this time i got a bill of 1882inr due to mere negligence for the sale of 549 plan for 2 gb data and not informing the whole plan..i request you to kindly check and revert..

    It's a very shocking matters that idea cellular tele marketing executive use abused when customer request to please disconnect the call ...Today your telemarketing executive calling from [protected] this no.To [protected] on 07/04/2016 05.01 pm and i have received the call and i had request to executive please disconnect the call on normal voice but your executive reply that you are swine ...I am shocked..I hope you will be take action regarding this issue ...

      The VAS service of socialbook was activated with no request and 45 rs were deducted on 7 april 2016 at 4:48 pm .I request for refund as complaint is filed before 24 hrs for mobile no ([protected])
      I had to deactivated the service and took 5 attempts to do so

        I was using idea iplan 999. When i changed the iplan in the last week of the plan getting over i got the plan cancelled and the bill prorated. I was having a total of 6gb with the plan. As i finished using 6gb i thought o[censored]pdating the iplan. But as soon as i updated the plan i saw the unbilled usage increased to 6500. I called the cc right away asking this to be revoked. They said this cant be changed and that the total amount of 6500 should be paid. I was having my actual bill of 999 which now got increased to 6500. This is pure cheating!!!

        This kind of prorated charging is not right. If i knew the amount was going to be so high i would never have changed the plan. Any help to get this revoked would be highly appreciated. I wa using a pack of 50. I had selected 46 packs for 3g. After the 3g got over i increased it to 48. But when i did this the unbilled usage bot increased to 6500. I tried calling the cc. They said the bill is correct and cannot be revoked as i have changed the plan in bettween a tenure. If so they could have stopped the first iplan right there and charged me 999 right then and started a new plan for this day. But they were not ready to do that. They wanted me to pay instead. I tried explaining to them its not the data i have used outside the plan that they are charging me for. They said the issue was caused as the customer clicked a button.

        I talked to the idea cc in ernakulam and was informed that this cannot be changed and that even if the total amount is not right i will have to pay it.

            Dear Sir,

            I had mobile connection with idea cellular ltd with a plan of Rs199/-
            I never asked for internet connection on this number. becasue i have a normal mobile phone without fm & internet facility

            Since i got connection ( this was ported from Airtel ) with idea cellular ltd . comapny was charging internet charges. I always complained with customer care as well as with their senior officials, that i do not want internet pack, why are you charging internet charges. every time with regression, i deposited bill payment to idea. Many times, i went to local office in noida to convert this phone number to pre-paid. but local office always said that on the date when bill will be generate, you can convert this to prepaid. now this is my mistake, that i could not have time to go at the time of bill generation. this practice was running ragularly. At last i decided to port this phone to vodaphone. in their IInd last bill, they once again charged internet charges. & I again requested to reversed these charges. but company didnt reversed. meantime company raised a new bill also. with internet charges just'one before my phone ported to vodaphone. & internet charges were debited intentionaly to humiliate me as i was porting to vodaphone. Otherwise, there was no sense, when i am being port to vodaphone,

            I denied to pay this bill. because this was of Rs4707/-

            This is very interesting, that when i went to vodaphone, i asked for calling plan only. but vodaphone also charged in very first bill for internet & I don't know what? I requested them to reverse these charges & vodaphone revered those charges also & adjusted in my further bills.

            But idea cellular ltd did never reversed those fraud charges debited to me & paid by me in hope, that they will be adjusted in further bills.

            now company said me to pay Rs4707/- agst pending bills. but company didn't reversed.
            i many time requested to company to raise new final bill after reversing these internet charges.
            this all conversation with customer care will be well recorded with idea cellular customer care.

            Now company is calling to my all relative & others, where i called earlier.
            i got a phone call recd from vikram choudhary phone no. [protected].said of tees hazari court, that a case bearing number PL 915 is registered agst me. & later mr rahul mehta said advocate by mobile no. [protected] from Tees hazari court. they are threatening me to pay Rs4707/- otherwise they will send me to jail.

            I am very sad & living as in hell, that insteed revising the bill they are threatening me.

            they called to my wife & threatened her that i have a loan. and i am not repaying.

            You are requested to pl. check the metter. because this is not only my matter. This is happening in cellular companies generally, they are robbing people like me .

            You are a requested to please check my all bills & charges charged, while i have samsung mobile phone perhapes guru model, which do not have fm & internet facility. ideal cellular company charged for internet same vodaphone charges while i never got internet facility although vodaphone reversed those charges. But metter is this, that why they are charging. I have shortage of money, so i am checking, Otherwise maximum people do not check their mobile bills.

            You are requested to please check my conversation with customer care of idea cellular ltd also. that how many times i requested to not activate internet & i don't want internet even in future too. Every time, i requested to customer care.

            Please check the metter & refund my all money which i paid un-necessary with request to reversed & customer care assured me to reversed. I also should be comensanised for defame, as company is doing & threatening to me. & make sure, that cellular companies could not charges fraud charges.

            This Forum is useless. bBecause i got no solution & I paid Rs. 2500/- after being forced to pay.

            But i got no justice / solution from this forum not from govt. All are useless.

              To whoever it may concern,
              i have been calling idea customer care for three weeks now in regards that my internet service is not working properly, still there is no improvement. they always tells that they will solve within 2 hrs to one day but nothing gets solved. i have been calling day and night to no avail and what worse that if they don't understand the problem they disconnect there phones. they are the worst service provider ever.

                  I have postpaid idea account #[protected].
                  My current plan is "MH Privilege 349 TRPV". Under this unlimited plan I get 750 MB data with 3G speed. Once I crossed usages 750 MB data, speed gets slow.

                  On 5th April, I added a new pack using idea account. I followed following action to add a new pack.
                  (My Postpaid -- Add A New Pack -- Select 3G plan -- Select 100 Rs (300 MB)

                  Here is the detailed description shown by Idea site.

                  Pack Name 300MB 3G data @ Rs100
                  Monthly Rental 100
                  Details 100MB 3G data free (overage 4p/10Kb)
                  =============

                  After using around 300MB Mobile data, I got message from Idea that usage for month has exceeded. Please pay 2196.44 Rs.

                  After speaking with customer care person, got knowledge that as part of the new data pack activated, I have to use only 10 MB data per day and after 10 MB, Idea will charge 4p/10kb. However there is no written information that I have to use 10 MB data per day. This is hidden clause and not open to customer.
                  If I would have known that I have to use only 10Mb data per dayy, then I would have not added/activated the pack (300MB 3G data @ Rs100).

                  This is hidden way to make fool to customer and charge them.

                    I have used the idea postpaid services from October 2015 to February 2016. Then i have change Network to Airtel Postpaid. I have received the Idea outstanding bill in my email. In the bill at 07-Feb-16 Data Overusage charges Rs.421.64 undauntedly billed. I said to the customer care not used Data Overusage. Truly i have not use over data. Kindly check and take action.

                        I noticed tht my balance is deducted by 80 rs.when i complained to idea office they told i dialled international number whereas there is no dialling on my phone.I am very angry and upset with idea and switching over to Airtel.

                            With ref to the bill against [protected] I have taken up the matter with your Nagpur officials regarding the exaggeration of the bill amount.My monthly bill used to within a range of Rs.300 to Rs.500 per month .The bill for the period of Jan 16 to Feb 16 displayed Rs.4300+ which was shocking for me. I enquired the bill details found that the net usage has been considered which pactically was not used.The details of the bill show the usage at night hrs 2 O clock, 3 o clock, 4 O clock which practically is not possible.I had raised a complaint with Nagpur officials and came to know that the request has been sent to the higher officials for reversal which has been accepted .When enquired they asked to pay the nominal amount which I did immediately but even after that I have been receiving SMS alerts for payments and now the line has been disconnected.
                            It is very clear that I will not pay the bill for which I have not used. I am facing lot of communication problem and incurring huge loss in absence of my number.M/s Idea has to rectify their fault and stop harassing the customer.I have been paying my bills consistently but shall not tolerate unrealistic bills.It is my sincere request to look into this matter and reverse the bill value to normal and make my number operative.
                            I have taken up this matter immediately with Nagpur Idea Office but they have not updated me any status nor made my number operative hence my grieviance.

                              I has recharged 3g data pack of 1.25 GB (Rs. 297) on my mobile number: [protected] and on next day I dialled *150*666# mistakenly to take talk time loan. However the respective no. is for data loan.
                              Once dialled, no further confirmation screen appeared on my mobile and they directly activated 25 MB 2G data on my mobile.
                              Now my previous 3G data is lapsed and customer care has told me that your data has been lapsed due to new loan data activated on your number.

                              How they activated loan data on my number without any confirmation after dialling the above number?
                              I contacted customer care several times and they are making my call hold for long time and now saying no resolution can be done to your complaint.

                                In my idea postpaid. I have got a bill of 14000 rs. It says 10000 rs for charges on data pack pro-ration. How it can happen. I would never pay 14000 rs for bill payments. Idea should resolve this problem. Idea number;[protected]

                                  My idea cellular account no.[protected] postpaid plan has been changed without any intimation and when i approached the customer care and the local idea outlet balaji services, dharampeth nagpur they have not replied why it has been changed or furnish the reason for the same after my repetitive request. As in plan there is no change in benefits only the rental has increased by rs.50.

                                  The store people said that this plan rental has been changed in maharashtra and goa circle. But when the same i asked them to reply on mail they are afraid to do the same.

                                  I don't understand why they try to fool customers with such cheap tricks.

                                    Sir, as per the offer was given to me on 04.4.16 i recharged 3g mobile data of 950 mb valid rs.249 for the period of 28 days. But the activator gave the 950 mb for the period of 21 days only. I contacted the idea customer care and ask the offered package. But they replied that they didn't give the offer to me. I kept the screen shot photos of offers which was given to me on 04.4.16. Hence i request you kindly help to get the offered package please.

                                      Please refer my earlier communication,

                                      1) my mail dated 02/04/2016 and reply received on 04/04/2016 from yogesh bhalekar, customer service team, idea cellular limited.

                                      2) my text message on date 02/04/2016 18:48 pm on dnd portal 1909 for complaint registration

                                      3) reply received from iz-idea for communication id c1-[protected] 02/04/2016 complaint registered.

                                      4) reply received from iz-idea for communication id c1-[protected] 04/04/2016 complaint closed without giving any valid reason.

                                      5)call made on 1909 at 05/04/2016 time 14.37 pm (I have recording of the call, 18min)

                                      After calling on 1909 i got some rude reply from some employee amrpala and after some argument between both parties she transfer the call to some team leader we have a conversion in which he explain me that if dnd is activated on my mobile that means no promotional calls only from same netrwork, but the others can call me or sms me for promotional call which is not true as per trai. My full details like full name, my residential address etc is being compromise by idea cellular for which i am sending another mail to consumer complaint forum and trai grievance with all history.

                                      I am very frustrated with the reply i am getting from idea team, it is true that i am on dnd right from join idea cellular, and as per trai rule no one can call me or sms me for promotional calls or marketing. After making complaints on 1909 instead of solving my problem they blame me for complaing.

                                      Some of the numbers are as bellow from where i am getting marketing calls, [protected] (Many times), [protected], [protected] (Many times) etc etc list is long some screen shot is attached,

                                      I request you to take action against this numbers and stop all promotional calls hence forth. Please don't take this matter lightly,

                                        This is with reference to a fraudulent commitments by the company officials/staff regarding portability of mobile number [protected] from airtel to idea. The committments are as under:

                                        1. I am existing customer of idea having contact number [protected]. The idea officials mr. Munish (Mobile [protected], [protected]) had offered to port another mobile number to avail free conversation between mobile number [protected] & [protected] under monthly plan of rs. 125(Including service tax) .

                                        2. That since porting to idea i.E. From november 2015, there was no free conversation and i have been chaged with normal charges.

                                        3. About six months have been passed and the concerned is not taking my call. Every month i have been charged with late fee of rs. 50 as he suggest not to pay the bill but later on i had to pay the same to continue the services.

                                        You are requested to resolve the issue as committed by the company and take rigid steps against mr. Munish for undue harassment of the customer.
