Sir,
Myself ashok kumar arora resident of kanpur, uttar pradesh phone no. [protected] is a customer in your company since 2009.I was happy with your company services since then and no complaints were ever made.I decided to take up your idea easy share plan and port all my families comunication/internet services to idea.
Thus i ported my numbers
[protected] (Ported from air tel to idea on 19/03/2016)
[protected](Ported from reliance to idea on 19/03/2016)
And bought two new sim.

I contacted the store on 10/03/2016

The store told me about idea easy share pack where i decided to port
They said :-
"rs 900 pack with 5gb net and 1000 calls"
I took my id and went to them for connections then they told the details that 250 rs security per number and other conditions.
I was ok because i know that these are marketing attractions (Told half details and tell other things when the customer is ready to take up the product)
I submitted rs 900 (Rent) 5*99 = 495 (99 per connection) (2 new+2(On porting))

Still they told me
You can monitor your data usage and call counter though my idea app.
I gave driving license as my id (The store accepted it happily, they had no problems)
Then they called to give another id as problems were there in my driving license id
Still i said its ok i went and gave another id.
New connections activated on 12/03/2016
After 2 days of activation they were deactivated saying (Identification error)
It remained off for day after which i complaint the store the resolved the problem.
Still i ignored the inconvenience caused in all this.It was ok.
My bill cycle is 23rd of every month (When plan changes in between the other plan takes per day charges)

Easy share pack was activated on 10/03/2016 i.E mid in my bill cycle.
Easy share pack offers bundled usage i.E 5 gb data and 1000 calls irrespective of bill cycle
This thing was not told to me by the store before i took the connection now mt scene was :-
Connection 1
[protected] (10/03/2016 to 22/03/2016)(12 days)(Paid rs 99)
Connection 2
[protected] (12/03/2016 to 22/03/2016)(10 days)(Paid rs 99)( activated - deactivation verification problems took one day total 9 days left )
Connection 3
[protected] (12/03/2016 to 22/03/2016)(10 days)(Paid rs 99)( activated - deactivation verification problems took one day total 9 days left )
Connection 4
[protected] (Ported) (Activated on 19/03/2016) (So 19/03/2016 to 22/03/2016) (4 days) (Paid 99 rs rent)
Connection 5

If all the rules were properly told to me on time then definitely i would have taken connections on 23/03/2016 to have full benefits thus i had to pay
900+99+99+99+99+99 = rs 1395 (+ tax) for 12 days
Still i said ok and ignored the inconvenience caused to me.
I had to finish 5gb data in 12days there because you already were charging bill for that.
When i took the connection they told me that in my idea app you will be able to monitor your data and call usage properly.
Later i came to know that my idea app does not apply for calculating data usages and call counters for easy share pack.
Still i said ok and ignored the inconvenience caused to me.
Now i started dialing *121*44# ussd from each connection, added all connections usage to get my data usage (Which was a total inconvenience) for calls i had to note down calls counter from each connections to get total calls usage i made (Total inconvenience)
Still i said ok ignored the inconvenience caused to me.
I tried to contact but these all complaints dont come under any of your "complain categories" i.E every customer care executive call only listen to this complaints.
I was completely inside the marketing bluff.

I paid the bill of rs 1680 properly just after the bill was generated i.E timely.
Still i said ok and ignored the inconvenience caused to me.
I was going out of station on 23/03/2016 to jaipur, rajasthan.
On my way two new connections.
[protected] & [protected] lost its network on the way, completely nil throughout the journey whereas [protected] & [protected] was properly working i.E it cant be said that the area did not had idea connectivity.
I went to jaipur for my vaccations and i dint had internet and call connectivity from idea network on those two connections.
I changed sets on/off my set tried every possible thing but no connectivity i called customer care from another number after a day [protected] got its connectivity by the other number did not.
[protected] lost its connectivity on my way back to kanpur but gained back connectivity on station (Total network fluctuations)
And the other number [protected] is under lost connectivity since last 5 days (Since i left kanpur).
All my vaccations went in complaing for network coverage, explaining things to customer care services and set on/off and all that fuss.Lost data connectivity and call in my vaccations. (These type of problems were never faced in my earlier company connects with air-tel and reliance, even t24 & docomo connections of my friends were working better that my "idea" )
Still i said ok and ignored the inconvenience caused to me.
When i came back i took a close analysis of my bill.
I was charged rs 48 (On [protected]) and rs 16 ( on [protected] ) as data usage of date 22/06/2016 at 22:32(On [protected]) and 23:15(On [protected]) i.E before time.
I though it was over usage i.E after 5gb but it was not i analysed.
[protected] (0.7 gb usage)
[protected] (1.5 gb usage)
[protected] (2.61 gb usage)
[protected] (0.010 gb usage)
[protected] (0.00 gb usage)
In total 0.7+1.5+2.61+0.010+0 = 4.82 gb i.E 180 mb still left but still 16+48 rs deducted saying that data usage and that to before time.
I called customer care to enquire this again the same line being repeated "sir it is over usage charges" finally it took time and energy to convince them that i am right and they registered my complaint finally.(This thing is under process kindly ensure this to be resolved properly communication id - [protected] )(Complaint id c1-[protected])
Which is still not listened to.
Means i am struggling hard and my time is being invested to prove myself right.
Total inconvenience
In last one month my mailbox and sms box is filled with idea reference ids complaints and just all these things.
Still i said ok and ignored the inconvenience caused to me.Still i am not giving "bad comments" to idea nor posting bad reviews for idea on social media since i know that your network and data connectivity is right.
I am investing my time on idea, data on idea mail, calls on idea customer care.
But now i want some good response from the company since now i am fed up with the things.I am paying rs 1680 bill and facing all these things from idea.
And if things are not resolved properly and the complaints i made will not be looked into my next step will definitely be port and pay other company 1600 a month and enjoy there services and as others do post bad comments on social sites and say bad things for idea in my whole group.


I decided to port and got a portal id too but a request call too that they will listen but still no reply at all.
Now they have compelled me to post all this openly.I request comsumercomplaints.In to help me to get my issues resolved with idea.
And kindly check the details of my account and look how many complaints and customer care calls are made.

    I bought the above given sim card on February 2016 from a local store, Bangalore Karnataka and the mobile number of new sim is ([protected])When I called 59059 the next day evening as instructed on the packet I got the answer that the call could not be completed and directed me to call the customer care. Nothing could be done by calling the customer care of the company. Then the dealer called the service centre and they told that it would be activated the following day. I get the same answer everyday and my sim remains inactivated till date.The dealer shared me Mr Shoiab Mobile number and asked me to call him and i called and explained everything but still he is fooling me everyday giving silly reasons.. I have spent lot of money to print a pamphlet because i taught o[censored]sing this number for my business purpose and printed around 5 lakhs pamphlet and also spent around 60 to 70k rs.. I have been following Mr shoiab since 1 and half month but still he is gives me the same reasons.. I am using idea since 5 years([protected]) and i was very happy with the services, But I think i made a big mistake.. Below i have mention Mr shoiab (Team Leader for Idea prepaid) If it is not activated within a week then iwill port my existing number to other network..

      Dear concern,

      My name is sarbanti sharma, mobile number [protected] which is deactivated.
      Firstly i want to share the things which is done by the idea comapny.
      They generate a wrong bill payment of rs.1698.51.
      After the discussion with the customer care of idea, they said that it was due to roaming pack activated in your mobile. I already stopped the services also. Hence before month bill generated rs600 approx.
      After that they also sent the message that you are getting 40% of discount and you have to pay only 1018 around. So kindly submit that. They deactivated the number also.

      Now yesterday i received a call from the number [protected], i was not in the network area so i said ki i am calling you back. But the number is repeatedly coming switched off. Not this only when i trace the number, this number is from idea only.

      Not this only after that my relatives and friends are receiving a call from the number [protected]. They said one girl is calling in behalf of idea, she is asking for the personal details. Really what type of things is idea is doing?? Really this is ridiculous.

      Kindly solve the problem asap otherwise i will take legal action regarding this.

      Today also i received a call from idea named anju contact details:-[protected]... The way she is talking is totally rubbish.

      I think idea hired only illiterate and unducated people in their organization. The customer care not having the way to talk with the people.Resolve this issue as soon as possible.

          I am a customer for last 6 years who is being constantly disturbed and harassed by the sms sent by idea even after being registered in dnd. On an average 2-3 messages are being sent under the name of service sms as said by the idea helpline either promoting www.bookmyshow.com or constantly forcing to download the app. The customer support, social media has not been able to do anything. I am not contemplating a legal action for violation of dnd norms and seek claim for harassment throughout the day till upto 9 pm.

              Idea customer service is not useful for the users...they stollen our datas and other recharges...i think now idea could not want the customers.they were not solving our problems...and stolling our moneys for unnecessary manner...they are cheating ...now i cant able to connect the customer service...busy tune is saying...when i call from other network i can able to contact them...itz a worst sim service...

                Idea is fraud company cheating with fraud offers, Idea's executive called me in december and gave internet offer of 50% reduction on 3G monthly pack of Rs.249/- but didnt mention its for limited period, i have postpaid account my mobile number is [protected].
                For 2 months i got the 50% discount but later i didnt, so called up, emailed their customer care and they say i have to mention the name & number of Idea executive

                    Two VAS services got auto subscribed against my idea number on 30th March 2016 at 10pm without any alert. I have lost Rs.50 from my prepaid balance. The service names are "Bollywood Buzz" and "Fun Star Music". More VAS services were trying to get subscribed but it failed due to insufficient balance later.
                    On calling the Idea customer care on 31st March 2016, the person at service desk mentioned that these services got activated from some third party internet service (Seven3Rockers.com) which is not in their control. I got 2 messages from Idea(54300) notifying that 2 VAS services have been activated, but the money was already deducted without my permission. This excuse is really not acceptable as Idea should alert the user and ask for a confirmation before activating any paid service. Imagine any third party internet service picking people's numbers by some means and activating VAS services on them for their benefit, and Idea blindly activates them without confirming with the user through a message or call. Obviously IDEA also gets profited from such activities which is why they don't want to control it. This is such an unprofessional and unethical behavior, and the user gets fooled and suffers the loss. Many people are becoming victims of such traps. But probably very few care to file a complaint. I have read complaints from other people as well regarding similar VAS service deductions.
                    As of now, I have requested the idea customer care to deactivate the VAS services, but I was told that the amount cannot be refunded.
                    I sincerely request IDEA Cellular to refund the deducted amount as the VAS service activation was done without my knowledge.

                      I am using 02 number of Idea Cellular, Delhi from more than last 2 years. But from last some days IDEA company starts some services on my numbers without any request. Causing unnecessary charges are included in my uses.
                      When I complain to customer care about that, they remove services from my both numbers but not remove any charges which are shown in my account against these services.

                      Request you please help me to reverse these charges from my account. details are below.

                      I already talk 2 times to Idea Customer care.
                      But they are not interested to resolve my issue.

                      I write an email at [protected]@idea.adityabirla.com, and received a reply. They mentioned lot of things in their mail and I can't understand what they want to say in their mail.

                      I never raised any request for any services on my both numbers.
                      No message or No phone call made by me regarding activation of these services. Then how is it possible that services were activated on my numbers.

                      If Idea cellular have any record like any message or phone call recording from my side regarding activation of these services. please share with me.

                      I only want that they will be 200% sure before generating next bill that there is no extra charged included in my upcoming bill against these services.

                        I am writing this email since i had a call from Idea toll free number explaining some Miss call facility. Wherein i had activated this service during the call itself as per instruction from the caller, but during call end it became very clear to be that i had to pay some amount of 250 to use this facility instead of 360 .
                        I was under the impression that i did not have to pay any charges..
                        On same call i requested to deactivate this facility which was told to be not possible . And was told to call 198 number to do so.
                        When i called 198 to deactivate service was conveyed that i had to pay 250 Rs compulsory even the time to activate and deactivate the facility
                        is less than a minute. As per "Company" policy.

                        This is really weird. I have not utilized the service even for a single minute and still been informed that i had to pay 250 during next bill. saying Company policy.
                        I was expecting that the person who have called me to activate service must have facility to rollback the service in the same call at least.

                        Later a got reply saying that your request is rejected ... That means i have to paying 250 rs .. disgusting reply...from Idea

                            This is to inform, you are requested to attend lok adalat at civil and criminal court, morwadi, pimpri pune 411018 on 09-apr-16 from 11.00 am to 3.00 pm for settlement of your account[protected].

                            As per the agreement signed, you have agreed to pay the outstanding dues of rs.2365 /- for billing account number[protected]. However, you have failed to keep your commitment.

                            Thereafter despite of repeat requests and reminders by our company representatives, you have not paid the said outstanding amount till date.                             So i have no clue if this is real or a scam, if there are any valid dues, and how i should pay them. Have tried to contact the and[protected] numbers also but they transfer to postpaid in mumbai who claim to have no information of maharashtra postpaid and the [protected] maharashtra number transfers to maharashtra prepaid because the idea number is now a prepaid one!

                              Pls see the attachment that you have deducted ₹ 20 twice from me. I never subscribe the Magic Box. By seeing you act at first I have unsubscribed once as you have instructed in the sms message. Still it re-subscribed again!! So please advice how to get out from this looting process of idea team game.

                                Dear idea,

                                You have disconnected services to both of my numbers i.E. [protected] and [protected]. It is really disaster. You are not neither giving me any solution nor continued my services. Worst treatment. How can you discontinue services to to my number is there is dispute and it is pending from your end. I am waiting for reversal for extra amount which i have paid from january 14th to till date today for all of my three numbers. Hope you will take corrective action as you have promised me.

                                Apart from that, call drop and mobile network issues are still pending. Please let me know when you will stop neglecting at my complaints. I have to call more than 3-4 times for completing my communication. Its is really a loot.

                                  From the last month, I am getting call from this no [B][protected][/B] in late night
                                  continuously. Few days back i picked the call and asked him why he is calling me
                                  then he said, i wanna friendship with you. I warned him do not call me else i will complaint
                                  against you but still he is calling on my number again and again.

                                  when i trace this number online then it show IDEA network and location is DELHI.

                                  Kindly take strict action against this person.

                                    Unauthorized balance was being deducted from my balance for some socialbook VAS service on 22nd of March 2016. I was in roaming and now when i returned back to home i saw SMS saying Rs 45. charged for socialbook service activation. Kindly return my balance as i prefer idea over other telecom services, please dont make me regret my choice.
