Dear sir,
I am getting a new postpaid connection.
When I call for activate my sim.
Mr Rajaram pic the call and my no successful active.
Then he provide me all detail regarding billing plan, bill date, payment date.

I asked a question - my sim is active on 26 Feb and my bill date 04 march so in this period can I use my sim.

He replied to me you can use your sim but monthaly rental apply after 04 march,
In this period if you using call and internet you bill got bill on your usage.

But after 04 march I see my bill, you charge me rental bill.

So as per I am getting reply on activation by Mr Rajaram no monthly rental will charge on this period ( 26 Feb to 4 march )

So please reverse this bill.

If this bill is not reverse then I will not paid any amount or its a totaly wrong information given by your customer care executive.

        Can the company resolved this problem else i change my network. I am in mohali and facing this problem very long time. My number is 3year old. Waiting for your response.

          This is karthik from madurai, a business man. I had applied for a mobile connection for my company on 3rd march for 5 numbers with the company name kaths enterprises (Which is registered with the sub register office, madurai), and after 2 rounds of verification and 15 days of me calling them again and again they are now saying the company is not running. There is less activity in the company because that is the head office and the actual business office is in madurai. Even the property is a own property. The representative of idea showroom mr. Arun with number [protected] is treating very badly saying that am a fraud and running a bogus company and he is insulting me a lot. They even activated 2 numbers for the same address and other three numbers they are doing like this. The idea show is located in thallakulam, madurai. All my business activities are getting affected because of this. And the showroom guys or the verification guys doen't show an professionalism in doing anything. Could you please help me in this regards.

            Please note that I have recharged my phone with RC 246 4G pack. But the signal of 4G is very weak in my area. As an alternate I called the customer care to enable 3G instead of 4G which has been rejected by your executive. Your executive rejects the request as their was no such option to convert to 3G. Please look into this issue and solve my problem to equip my phone with 3G pack of same value. Otherwise please reimburse the pack amount for the usage of voice calls.

              Rs 12 /- deducted from my balance after recharge of Rs 30 /- on 17.03.16. Today around 3 PM Madam, SWARNA called me & told that no money deducted from my balance. After that again i checked &saw my balance is Rs 11.20 only. i called customer care immediate but they told Rs 12 /- deducted. Now my question whose word i will take? Try to refund my balance immediate.

                On 14th March 2016 I recharged my IDEA number – [protected] with a 2g night pack of Rs 17. Even after recharging I was till getting a speed of 1 KB/s (from my RS 249 2g Unlimited plan after full speed quota is over).Then when 2g night pack was not activated even after 1 hour, I recharged with a 3g night pack of Rs 46 thinking that I will let go of the previous loss of 17 rupees. But even the 3g pack did not activate till 3:30 am, ( as i was still getting a speed of 1 KB/s ) after which I slept. In the morning I see two sms from idea one at 5:52 am and the other at 6:07 am informing that the nights packs are activated. Imagine Idea is now activating the night packs AFTER the pack is already supposed to be expired.

                Then a long journey calling and emailing their customer care began which finally ended today after I had a talk with their senior executives at ([protected]) after calling approaching the consumer court helpline. The jist of our conversation is - if the system at Idea shows that you internet pack is activated then IT IS ACTIVATED. It doesn't matter if the customer is getting a speed of 10 kilo bits/ sec i.e. 1 KB/s after recharging with a 3g plan. MEANING the idea executive made it clear to me that my MONEY WILL NOT BE REFUNDED even if i get a speed of 1 KB/s on 3g. they say they can't refund money because it's a network fault... Whose network is it anyway. Idea ka hi hai na? then why can't take be held responsible for their poor service? why should customer pay the price for their network faults?

                IT is very clear that IDEA is trying to convey that it holds no responsibility for its pathetic service and the customer is free to be looted and scamed as per their desire. I wish the government took notice of such poor practices of the telcos...

                Hence, if you are ready to take risk wasting your money (cos it doesn't always happen) on 3g or 2g to get a speed of 1 kB/s then sure - go ahead and use IDEA.

                what an IDEA o[censored]LLU BANOING sir ji. Instead of saying sorry and compensating the customer their are saying that no money will be refunded... which means its a risk to recharge internet on idea... idea ki kripa hui to apko speed milegi nahi to agar 1 kb/S bhi mil rahi hai to aap kuch nahi kar sakte...

                Obviously I do have have any more patience left to file a case in consumer court for a matter of 80 rupees but but One thing I have realized that Idea customer service is the worst of any company that I have dealt till date. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK - is their motto!


                p.s - unfortunately there is no option to give a minus rating. anyone who has had an experience with reliance customer care will understand what I mean when I say Reliance customer care is 100 times better than IDEA. period!

                as per our telecon with your customer service associate on 18th March 2016 i wish to affirm that i do not want to push this matter forward as your customer service has already shamelessly stated that it will not refund me the money for internet not working (after 1 hour o[censored]sage) on 16th march and non activation of gprs packs/slow speed of 1 KB/s (each excuse given as per convenience of the multitudes of representatives that I interacted with) on 14 th march 2016.

                for anyone reading this conversation be aware that i have been an idea customer since 2011 but these days IDEA seems to be working like this - do a recharge and - your balance will be immediately deducted (strangely enough no technical fault will ever occur in that department) but if your pack doesn't get activated or your internet doesn't work then you will be conveniently told that its a technical fault - IDEA CANNOT BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE SAME - hence DON"T EXPECT ANY REFUND FOR THE MONEY YOU LOST ON RECHARGE!

                I hope this cheater company sinks!

                Stop writing these standard reply messages! My problem may have been addressed but it was not resolved (at least not per the customer’s satisfaction).

                When I say my pack was not activated your representatives say that it WAS activated as you were using internet and getting a speed of 1 KB/s. When I tell them that the 1 KB/s speed i was getting was from my RS 249 2g unlimited pack (after full speed quota over) they say no it was from 3g night pack. When I say how can 3G speed be so low (1 KB/s) they say network fault. When I say i got the confirmation” your GPRS pack is activated” for 3g night pack at 6:07 in the morning (i.e. 7 minutes after the pack expiry) they say network congestion. Tell me one thing your does your network congestion only happens in sending activation messages of pack cos there has never been a single delay in deduction of money sms whenever i activate a plan.

                And don’t try to fool me with all your rubbish excuses... I have been using Idea internet and night packs since 2011 (appx 5 years) and probably know more about them than 90% of your customer care executives!

                  Myself Arvind Bhardwaj i was using Idea's No. [protected] that bill has been exceeded although usage was not that much higher when i requested Distributor to negotiate it he started behaving rude. Idea is the worst operator i ever found and not at all cooperative. They are sitting to make people fool by increasing bill unnecessarily. and now they are threatening me and calling for hearing which is damn pathetic. I will not pay a single penny to those persons who makes fool of people.

                    Dear sir, my name is wazeem, i am from mumbai, my idea number is [protected]. Its been 5 days since i get any proper internet service. I have contacted the customer care but they asked me to switch off then on my phone. I tried all the possible ways to get the service. I tried with another sim card, which worked perfectly with out any issue, which confirmed it is not my mobile, but the company's problem.                     I have contacted your customer care executive. i called up your 3exevutives 1st guys spoke gibrish, which i dint understand what he said, second guy told me that he will forward the call to his senior, i was kept on hold for half an hour and no one replied. i hung up and again called the third guy, and the third person told me your entire thing is ok and asked me to remove the sim and re inserted it. i did so and nthing happend, then after complaining here, with in 3 hours, without doing anything i got the issues resolved.

                            After putting a complaint to the Telecom Minister of India, the business head of Idea India, Mr. Sanjay Bhatnagar, finally Idea Cellular has resolved the complaint. I won't say thank because I had to go through a lot of pain and agony and had to express my plea to lot of people.
                            Idea Cellular customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                            An email has been sent to Mr. Ravi Shankar Prasad, Minister for Communications & Information Technology. I am keeping hopes from the Ministry.

                            If the Ministry is unable to solve the complaint, the unfortunately I will have to say goodbye to Idea cellular. Already from the behaviour from Idea executives, it is clear that Idea is a very rich company and so they don't care if customer switches to another telecom operator.

                            First of all, your customer service associate looked quite pissed off during the discussion, maybe because he/she had to work because I raised a complaint.

                            As usual, you guys talk about follow ups and resolution, but all that comes out as a result is real [censored].

                            Lets hope you resolve this issue this time and close this matter for once and for all, unless you have a sense of self ego to keep this issue going until I file a consumer case and ask for a good compensation.

But he was unable to give details. I need details now OR refund my balance. For your information i have not taken any loan. Please check and revert back.

                                  I've had a very bad experience with the idea customer care centres and customer care executives.

                                  I had raised a complaint regarding no connection at the customer care centres as well as on customer care helpline, but the replies were unsatisfactory and rude. I'm facing network issues which cause alot of inconvenience.

                                  The customer care executives aren't willing to reply and no help is being done.

                                  I need to get this problem solved asap.. Please help.

                                    This is regarding the Idea network issue at Pukkattupady, Ernakulam. This issue is with many Idea subscribers staying in this apartment.

                                    I have made complaints many times to idea. Idea Engineer was visited the site and accepted that very serious network issue is there at this location. But after that no action was taken by idea to get the proper signal at this area.

                                    The issue is from ground floor to 4th Floor of this apartment complex. There are 191 apartment in this. Many o[censored]s are facing this issue.

                                    We are expecting some action on this regard.

                                      After repeated try of idea from mar 02, 2016, through sms for misguiding customer in wrong direction. The sms for same is being sent to me by idea on regular basis. Sms were sent on mar 02 10:32, then mar 11 11:15, then mar14 13:48. After these sms same sms was sent to me on 15th 16:06. As it was written in sms as well as i have recorded call that in beginning it was said also that call is toll free, i continued the call to 53111. During call a contest was there and total 3 questions were asked and for these questions two times deduction was done during call from 16:07 to 16:09 for questions ( i came to know afterwards when i checked sms in this regard and same call is recorded at my end also). After this call idea tried to insist me for doing same mistakes by sending sms continuously after said call on 17:13, 18:39, 19:22, 19:57, 20:44 & 22:45. Ididn't respond to these sms as well as not tried to repeat my mistake for which i had already lost two deductions for no benifit. But this was too much from idea that idea placed one more deduction at 22:47 for no reason. Today also same stupidity was continious from idea through sms from morning at given timing 8:18, 10:40, 12:50, 14:41, 16:41, 18:32, 20:06. Then on 21:00 again deduction sms was done from my account for no interaction. Then it was heights from idea that amount has been deducted on 21:02 for no activity from my side. After searching customer care no. I tried to communicate the same to customer care executive, but when problem was not resolved at junior level call was forwaded to senior level. From there also there was no satisfactory answar for their system mistake and my sufferings for deduction for no reasons. He suggested me to do mail on a particular mail i.d and even denyed to accept any vomplain from my side. Today's conversation with junior executive as well as senior executive is recorded at my end. After this i had taken screenshots for last 7 call records. Screenshots are taken for call details also. Now i want to lodge the same complain at maili.d. provided by customer care executive. If problem is not resolved with in 17 or till 18th morning, then same can be escalated to consumer forum for justice for deduction and mental harrasment during this time period. I hitch is there from my side for this website that without phone no. or any other detail how can you proceed or interact with me in direction of solving the same.                                         I convert this number in idea postpaid in febuary my billing date is 1st.
                                        I have easy share plan with 1000 minute and 5gb data. Till today when i use data or make any call my unbilled amount is increase.
                                        About this i contact the mini store from i purchase this number that person say plan is properly work your unbilled amount is zero.
                                        That person contct no. Is [protected] from idea store location rohtak near tehashil rohtak.
                                        Resolve my this problm because my limit is 1250 and i have 956 unbilled amount allready. Limit is used 75% of my limit
