I switched to idea network about 8 months back, since then i have paid all the bills and never my bill amount crossed more than 250 to 300 Rs. I had a 99 corporate rental plan with a 89 Rs data plan which was very cheap as my usage was also very less. But 1 month i experienced a issue of no network coverage at my residence. I lodged a complain with idea customer care, to which they responded saying it will be resolved in next 4-5 days.
The main issue was that i was not even getting one network bar near my residence, i had to go about meters away from my residence in a centralized location of mumbai to the nearby high road to get proper network and internet service.
Its irritating when u have a high end mobile phone and no network when u r home, it was very bad without any communication. This situation prevailed for 3-4 weeks, wherein i repeatedly contacted the IDEA customer care and every time i got a response saying in next few days it will be resolved.
One of my main topics of my complain was of the internet, as we all know now a days with out Whatsapp and Facebook is very difficult to manage.
So i was not able to use my internet for more than 3-4 weeks, then after getting so much frustration i decided to stop my IDEA connection and port to some GOOD network.
So i started the procedure of porting my number from IDEA, the moment i gave the request to port from IDEA, i got a call from IDEA saying-"Sir plz dont port ur number from Idea, we are providing u free 3G internet". I asked when i am not able to get the network, what will i do with 3G or 4G.
Then after once i was all set to port my number i got a msg stating that my bill amount has reached 2016Rs.
I was shocked and called IDEA customer care and there they gave me a answer that "sir due to internet usage the amount has been charged", i asked how can u charge this when i have already filed a complain of no network and no internet.
Then i paid 2016 Rs to the Worst network provided that is IDEA, never i exceed a bill of 250 to 300 Rs and when i am porting the number they r trying to get all money for next year too. "Hopeless "
After i ported to a very good network i was relaxed and tried max inform all my frnds to port the number from the Worst Netwroks -IDEA.
This didn't end here, after about a week after port process was complete, i started getting continuous calls from IDEA saying that i need to pay more money like about 2500 Rs.
And the people from IDEA started harassing me everyday by calling, since then i decided to lodge a complain against them.
Work network provider just with money mentality to lot customer's money.
