The executives at the idea branch in ferozpur, Punjab (152002) are asking for rs 50 to upgrade the sim card to 4g.
But I had received messages from idea that are advising to upgrade the sim to 4g for free at Idea showrooms

    I am availing the services of idea cellular network, my idea a/c no. is[protected] & my phone no is [protected].
    As per the idea promotions i have received the message of 1 Gb free 4G data usage for 10 days.To get this service i have sent a message

    BOOK 4 G to 12345 on 24th DEC 2015 at 5.33 P.M from my Mobile No.

    I have received a message from the company once the service is available in my location they will inform me .On 15th JAN 2016 i had exchanged my 3G sim to 4G sim from idea cellular office jaistambh chowk Raipur (C.G) & as guided to me by sales staff i have completed all the procedures successfully.
    At the time o[censored]p-gradation of sim i have asked the sale representative about the charges of the 4 G usage .They have answered me that sir no plan has been announced by the company till now as and when the company announces its plan we will share with you, till then this service is free our customers who have booked 4G.As i have booked the service earlier i have started utilizing it.
    since the information given to me was only limited to free 1GB of 4G for 10 days, I have utilized the service of 700Mb approximately.

    Now i have received a bill for the month of jan 2016 from the company for 1243.32 in which 749.68 was charged for my internet usage
    on 23th FEB 2016 i have visited the idea office the sale representative had told me that sir this 749.68 was charged for the over usage of data of the limit of 135 MB.company has previously not told me that the bill will be issued on pro-data basis. since the message do not contain any clarifications about its usage. i have deemed that the company is providing me 1GB free data & i have utilized the same. In this complaint i am attaching the screen shots of the message sent to the company from my phone on the following dates.
    on 15 th jan 2016 the company has De-activated 2 GPRS packs of 135 Mb each from my account & activated the 4G on my no.
    As after the 10 days on 23rd Jan 2016 the company has re activated the 2 Gprs packs of 135 MB each in my no. & the 4 G service was deactivated from my no.
    since the company has provided me the service of 4G from 15th Jan 2016 to 23rd jan 2016 & i have utilized the same during this period since the service provided to me should be free for this period the company has charged me for the same.I have paid voice component of the bill via reference no. FHDF[protected], to avoid late payment charges, i had written the same to the appellate.[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com but not received any response from the company.
    This is the case of cheating where the company has offered the free 1 GB data & charged for the same in my account.

        On 23/2/16 I got a promotional call from[protected], initiated to promote Idea customer. I am presently an Airtel post paid cosumer, keeping in view your dedicated service at Mumbai and dissatisfactied over Airtel here, I opted to port my number.
        Immediately, I abide by all the requests i.e sending of AADHAR scanned copy, password for my Airtel statement, immediate settlement of last bill amount inexcess of rs 100 to cover any unbilled amount.
        For, further formalities i.e verification of address, issuing of new SIM and activation promised to carry out withhin 4 days.
        Despite reminding them everyday since then in the above mentioned no. for initiating the process, finally today at about 1600 hrs, customer executive started asking me about the password of already setteled account of Airtel upon pretext o[censored]n availability of Mr Ananad ! In this very point of time, after already spending good 06 days of waiting in frustretion I am enquiring from you HOW LONG SHOULD I WAIT to get an Idea connection at your inefficient Kolkata circle. Do you mind to brush / shake them upto the standard of Aditiya Birla group ?

          Mydala deals deducting amount from my prepaid connection whenever I recharge online. It has been activated without my knowledge and when i tried to deactivate the service it got failed. I am giving the SMS below
          "below service active on your mobile 1:Mydala Deals Sms 1, 2, 3 etc to 54300 to deactivate the service"

              Date of incident: 29/2/2016

              Description: I had 2G internet pack already active on my phone. It had a data ~500MB the validity of which was expiring in 15 days time. I wanted to use the 3G service for a day and so recharged 75MB worth of 3G data. Extra data usually is added up to the existing data. In my case, after the 3G data was over, I should have been shifted back to the 2G plan. But, instead all the remaining 2G data was lapsed without my knowledge and thus fair bit of money was deducted from my balance because I used the internet service without any active internet pack. On talking to the customer care I was told that this rule was introduced long back.

              Also, there are incidents almost every time I browse, that even if I block the pop-ups in my browser, some idea website automatically opens and some random VAS is activated resulting in deduction of 50-100 rs from my balance. This happens almost every time I browse and of which I am tired of complaining.

              This is utter nonsense. Fooling, cheating and looting the consumers by some stupid rules/policies which is unknown to the consumer.

              I demand the refund of my money that I lost without my knowledge.

                This to inform you that in the above mentioned bill cycle an extra charges WAP Download charge has been added costing Rs 250/-. I've already paid the bill because at that time I was unable to get the bill downloaded and check as to why my bill had exceeded my usual amount in-spite of less usage...
                Seeking an explanation and resolution for the same.

                  My mobile no-[protected] had balance of Rs.170/- on 27 feb 2016 and today (1 mar 2016) I have lost my balance, after that when I called customer care to know why my balance has deducted then they said that you used the excess data on 28 Feb 2016 out of limit so your balance has been deducted. But I didn't used my data on 28 Feb 2016 because my Idea network was not working from back 2-3 days (27 Feb 2016). I used my internet through office Wi-Fi but they had said that I used Idea Internet, How is it possible that I used Wi-Fi and Idea Internet in one time.
                  The idea Company done this before also, after my complain they reimbursed me but they again done this. I want my cash back.

                  Idea Cellular executives not co-operative and misbehaved with customers.

                  Please solve my problem against Idea Cellular company.

                    I registered for Idea 4g, and got 1 GB Free for 10 days, but when I connect to 4G (By choosing Idea 4G as my mobile network) network it's switching between 2G and 3G. I loose money everytime Idea swiches it's network to 2G and 3G. I called to their customer service, and they said 4G is free, but if network uses 2G or 3G it's chargable. Is it customers fault? If I connect to 4G their network should not connect to 2G and 3G. As a customer how can I control the network? Customer service refused to provide a complaint number for that.

                    Please help me resolve this.

                    I am receiving the message every few minutes, and I have been charged 4 Paisa since I switched to Idea 4G. I contacted their customer server, but they say your mobile data is on so it's charged, but I receive this message when my mobile data is off, and exactly 4 Paisa for 10 K. The attached screen shot you can see I received the message while I am talking to their customer service. They are not telling why this is happening, simply says mobile data is on. The message says "freebie pack 48.41" POOR SERVICE FROM IDEA. Idea 4G is terrible, I have been struggling with two Idea sims.
                    any update about my complaint?
                    This is poor service, I shared the screen shot also, but no response from Idea. I don't know what to do with this loosing 4 Paisa every few minutes.

                      My monthly bill plan is 225 rs, but i have received the net bill as 374.I have contacted the customer care, but im not satisfied with their varied response.Each claims different reason for my extra charge.one responded as the amount is charged for data(i have unlimited data) and another one as it was charged for call divert, call conference etc..but to my plan CUG is included but still they have charged for CUG calls with various reasons in my bill.

                            I have ported my number [protected] to postpaid last months to 199 MP LYNX3 rental plan. In my bill a fraud call charges of rs 846 has been charged for calling on idea's jyotishi number (055181 and 055365) for almost 95 mins.

                            First of all this call was not made. Secondly how can a 9 rs/min can be charged for such unwanted services, even ISD call is not charged at such a rate.

                            This is cheating. Kindly revert this charge and correct my bill.

                              I made a recharge of 649 on this number yesterday the money was deducted from my account but recharge was not done please note that my bank already deducted the amount since it was paid to IDEA.

                              I have called 198 more than 10 times to get my refund back but either they not attend the call and if they attend they disconnected in between.
                              The type of complaint resolution service provided by you is worst ever.
                              I am very much ashamed that i am customer of this company.

                              If no answer is received the remedy left with me is to FILE A SUIT and i have to go for that. because i already made a complaint with you but no solution was done till now.

                                My mobile number is [protected]. I have subscribed for the something (Cric pack). And i have been charging money since 2 days for this service and i sent messages i. E stop to 155223, i t is saying that no service has been activated on my number. Today 29 feb i took a talktime loan rs 10.In the afternoon i have charged for this service. Those who ate my 10 rs in the form of service, he will face such a situation that i felt.

                                  Sir i have been debited 100 rs for calling NO 53513. but i dos not know it will dialed with out my permission.its happens on 28/02/16 at 12.17 pm and i called to 12345 toll free Mr Aswaq khan was received my call at 02.23 pm on 29/02/16.he is not responded as costumer care executive he behave like police hawaldaar. sir how its possible to dial while my phone is locked, so pl refund my money and deactivate my all fraud advertise ments and callson my phone.

                                    This is a fraud company i was asked to pay a settelement amount for the number [protected] of an amount of 2680 and yet i am receiving harrasment calls to make a payment well i am very tired of this and want to sue this fraud company (IDEA Cellular)

                                      I have left 5 mb internet in this time on my idea number [protected]. they always deduct rupees when idea customer have less mb. this is happening with me 11 or 12 times. I am frustrated, I have complaint on idea care and they are saying we can't pay back money. they deduct this time 31 rupees from my account on 28 feb 2016 at approx 3:00 PM. and in last month they deduct 35 rupees when i see my net their left 9 mb. they always do this.
