I have 2 postpaid services with idea ie [protected] and [protected].
Both on 99 rental but sumtym in the past they changed the plan for which i received a notificatiob thru sms and i called them and they changed it..
last month with one of my num ie 8****411 they sent the bill of 1000rs to which i agree sumwer. But again one of the rep said he will wave off the charges of 600rs if wud agree to activate booster.
that month is gone now this month i got the bill of 475rs which is shock to me.. boz i never exeeded 280 or 300..
When i check the bill it says my internet pack is changed from 125 to 154 without my permission..
i spoke to farees khan who refuses to give me his emp id saying m asking for his personal information..
as per him kiran chauhan named lady spoke to me on 23rd jan abd changed my internet pack.. which i have never received.
i did not speak with anyone about this.. its a lie and now they are changing packs n charging me without my knowledge..
i m not gonna pay extra charges and change the provider as soon as i can.
Never expected idea..
I wana get it fixed or i know the procedure to escalate it further. I dont earn to pay u extra.

This is the message i got whereas wen they called me it did not even last for second.. the moment i picked the call they disconnected. I knw what pranks they wanna play now.. they vl show that they contacted me but i din pick the phone but it did not even ring once. N when my phone is busy n u call isnt it ur responsibility to call back again.. m srry but this tricks wont work on me.

    I Sanjay Ghuge, got a bill for my postpaid Idea connection([protected]) for the month of Jan’16. This is special CUG connection for company- Mahindra & Mahindra.
    Bill Number: [protected].
    In this bill, I have been charged Rs.600 for “MH GPRS ARP 600 (1GB_3M)” package of GPRS which I have not confirmed with any executive from Idea or I have not activated any plan by my mobile.
    And this is not at all accepted to me. From 2 and half years I am using Idea service and never activate GPRS service on this no.
    Immediately I have registered a complaint on Customer care – Communication ID- C1-[protected].
    I have a return call for this issue yesterday on 8th Feb’16. But the lady executive not able to resolve the same. So as Executive said, I wrote a mail to Customer care mail ID to cut down the illegal charges & resend the bill after correction.But they were unable to do it and said that plan was activated by my side, but this is not a truth. I deny this and I never recieved a massage regarding activation of any new plan.
    After 5 to 6 mails and phone call to cutomer care executive, I wrote a mail to higher authority of Idea Mr. Devendra Shrivastav through mail ID appelate.[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com. but no responce from them also. Only autoresponce emails I am recieving. I also visited Idea Office at Mahatma nagar, Nashik, but they said that they are helpless.
    Below are the communication date -
    5th Feb- Registered a complaint on cusromer care.
    8th Feb- Return call from Idea & suggested to mail to Idea
    11th Feb- Registered a complant by mail
    15th Feb- Reminder given to Idea by Mail
    15th Feb- Recieved mail from Idea and asked for details
    15th Feb- All required details mailed to Idea
    19th Feb- Responce from Idea mentioning they are unable to cutdown unuthorized charged
    19th Feb- I denied and asked to provide proofs
    20th Feb- responce from Idea that you that they are unable to provide me any call recording as a proof
    21st Feb- I wrote to higher autority through appelate.[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com.
    22nd feb- I visited My idea office at Mahatma nagar, Nashik
    22nd feb- I again wrote to higher autority Mr. Devendra through appellate.[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com.
    22nd Feb- automated response from appellate.
    24th Feb- Call from Idea customer care Executive giving same reasons.
    So now I am frustated to take this issue with Idea team ahead.And I am fully dissatisfied with their service. I need help from this forum.

    Very poor feedback from Idea cellular.

      Dear Sir,
      Even after continuous request to the appellate several times, my problems of poor network and 3G services are still remain unresolved. I have also requested the appellate and the customer service desk to send the Technician at my billing address to rectify my issues and install a booster i[censored]nable to sort it from the nearest tower but to my disappointment no body showed up. Seems that 'Idea' really won't bother about their customer problems and only intend in pulling customers money. On top of that Idea is continuously sending me messages that my concern related to call connectivity and data is successfully resolved without confirming it from me.

      Instead of resolving my issues and offering me compensations for my losses & sufferings, Idea has now disconnected my outgoing and 3G services from last 5 days. I have clearly mentioned to the appellate and to the customer service department last month in January 2016 that I won't be paying the bill unless and until you resolve my problems completely. I am now continuously receiving messages and calls regarding the bill payment but to my consciousness I never ever got a call regarding my pending issues still exist...am I satisfied with the services ?? no courtesy call ever...

      You can contact me on the same Idea number +91 [protected] as incoming call are still active on it. I have been continuously writing to the appellate and Idea customer care but did't got any positive response and my problems still remains unresolved.
      This evening around 6:10 pm, I visited the Idea Retail Store, Plot No. 9, Rajendra Bhavan, Adalat Road, Aurangabad (MS) - 431001, hoping to meet some concern person who can resolve my issues but was horrified to meet the store manager Mr. Raj Singh ([protected]) who was rude and arrogant and truly didn't have manners how to communicate and resolve customer issues who is already suffering due to poor services. He denied to accept my written application and asked me to communicate with higher authorities thru email. It clearly shows that he had nothing to do with my issues as he was asking me to pay the bill if i want to resume the outgoing and 3G services.

      Seems that there is no coordination between the customer service desk, Back end department, Technical and the Billing department...as i am receiving calls regarding bill payment to resume the services. I requested them to first resolve the network issues...call dropping, call failure, call connectivity and 3G issues and then ask a customer for bill payment. I think barring a number without resolving the issues, without closing the complaints is against the policy and also a crime.

        I am a postpaid user of IDea +91 [protected] from 3 months.i got the number ported from airtel as i thought idea is a good service provider. Now i have got a bill of 2500rs and the internet speed was too bad that i am not going to pay a single rupee now.and whether my number gets disconnected.
        It is not because of signals n all. i dont knw y idea charges are too high and services are too too too cheap.

            Hello,

            I wish to lodge a complaint Idea Cellular, India. The company is violating consumer's right to report spam SMS to TRAI. Idea cellular sends out spammy SMS asking to download MYIdea app. When I try to report these spam SMS to 1909, it seems Idea Cellular blocks the SMS and TRAI sends out "Invlid format" error. I am able to report other numbers from which I get spam SMS, but can't report spam SMS for "IZ-Idea". As a consumer, I should not be bothered by asking to download apps by service provider. The app download spam sms are sent out by service numbers, and when we lodge complaint, service providers get a narrow escape by giving excuses of calling spam SMS as service messages.

            I have filed the similar complaint to government of India on their public grievance portal. The complaint ID is: DOTEL/E/2016/06181.

            I won't connect to your website or 198, as your customer support executives are trained to not to cater such types of problems and are asked to tell the consumer to ignore the spammy message as it is a service message.

            I have already told you to stop [censored]ing. Customer care person called and again gave the typical answer. Idea cellular still calls the app download SMS as service message. I will stick to my decision to fight against this spam SMS. I will wait till my grievance to DoT is resolved. If I am still not satisfied after that, I will consider going to consumer court against Idea cellular for spamming my inbox with idea app SMS. Also with customer court, we shall make an appropriate definition of what a service message.

            Your customer care executives are ignorant brats to put such wrong information in your database. I repeat, my concern has not been addressed.

            Again received the spam SMS from Idea cellular asking me to download My Idea app. Idea customer care, this is what you call resolution? Is this how you fix customer complaints?

            PFA screenshot from my phone. The funniest part is, just above that is the SMS from Idea saying my complaint has been resolved. Idea cellular, you have a very bad sense of humour, hence people would appreciate if you stop your nonsense jokes.

            I think Idea customer care just like to pose good on social media by posting comments like "your request has been addressed", but in actual, it is just a lie.

            The SMS have been reported to TRAI (1909). The same will be presented to consumer court.

            Still no action by Idea cellular. I am not going to mark this issue as resolved.
            Received My Idea app download message today also. Idea cellular clearly refused to take any action on this request.
            I just now lodged complaint to TRAI against Idea cellular for sending spam messages, and not taking any action on my requests. PFA screenshot for the same.

            My sincere apologies for posting same comment multiple times. My internet connection was slow and I resubmitted same request resulting the multiple comments.

            Though the main concern remains the same, which still remains unattended by Idea Cellular.
            I still receive SMS from IDEA asking me to download their app. IDEA cellular is not going to take any action on this.
            I have logged complaint to consumer resource and empowerment department for this matter and the complaint ID is: 220512.4.2016. I have requested government to punish Idea cellular with fine for amount no lesser Rs. 5 lakh.
            Idea cellular should soon be receiving the letter from the concerned department.

            I also opened another grievance DOTEL/E/2016/07674 for the same matter. I have asked Department of Telecom to punish Idea cellular with fine for amount no lesser Rs. 5 lakh.
            Idea cellular is still so ignorant, I still keep receiving the same spam messages everyday.
            An email has been sent to Mr. Ravi Shankar Prasad, Minister for Communications & Information Technology. I am keeping hopes from the Ministry.

            If the Ministry is unable to solve the complaint, the unfortunately I will have to say goodbye to Idea cellular. Already from the behaviour from Idea executives, it is clear that Idea is a very rich company and so they don't care if customer switches to another telecom operator.
            Today, 18th of March, and I will be receiving another SPAM SMS from Idea Cellular, just like I have been receiving since last few months. Damn you Idea Cellular for this.
            Yes, Idea has poor spam filtering on the systems. After starting DND services many times, receiving too many SMS. I have also sent too many emails on Idea customer care they did not replied and not taking any action on that.

              I received a fake phone call from no [protected] that I win 25 lakhs lottery on my idea phone number. When I asked about his name and address he said his name as Vishal and place is Nabad. No other details he said and quit.

                VAS service is activated by IDEA without my request and charged me 1750/- Rs. extra. They sent me bill of Rs. 3400 for one month. No customer care executive is taking responsibility and they simply cut the call.

                  My name is vinay. I have changed my sim card from postpaid to prepaid on[protected], and the idea showroom people in velechery, Chennai said that it will take 2-4 days but my sim was not activated till date[protected] i.e.., 8 days till now . on[protected] i got a mail from the idea customer care that your postpaid connection has been terminated with a SR# C1-[protected]. till now my prepaid account has not been activated. i had lost many transactions and many connections has been lost because of it. i have paid bills properly, i ave deposited 500 rs in idea also but they has not serviced as per their words. very poor service. i am paying my tax along with bills on proper time. this is not fair to trouble a valuable customer like me. i have been using this phone number from more than 10 years with this network itself. i have went to idea show room for about 10 times and they are saying that it is under process, i asked them to tell the process, and i requested them to make it fast, but they response is not to the mark. every day from 3 days they are saying it will be activated by tomorrow from 3 days, they are not giving proper response and information about the .status of my application. the mail i have received from idea network is attached with this content.

                    Myself Braja Bandhu Sahu with Idea Postpaid No [protected], visited so many times to both the Idea store at Gajuwaka & Kurmanpallem, Visakhapatnam regarding changing postpaid plan to prepaid plan whereas they refused to take my complaint and told me to go the big idea stores at the city.But why the stores are unable to do the changing postpaid to prepaid plan ??????

                            I (vivek kumar bhardwaj) want to stop 3G data service, and he said you can not stop any service in advance, they said you can call only at that time when you want to stop it.

                            My billing cycle date that is 23rd on every month. I called to customer care (Reference Id: C1-[protected]) on 23rd at 3:14 AM to stop 3G data service and they said you should pay 250/-

                            In this case I said that please stop my 3G data service on 22nd in next month automatically, they said you should call us on 22nd in next month.

                              Idea keep sending me bill after my number port out. I had 2 number with idea . they took 500 rs from my credit card after that they just returned 142 rs and said rest has been adjusted in my bill and they send me bill in which they added feature charges 255 rs for each number so they charged me approx 600rs and not refunded my total amount which they took from my CC.

                              I am not satisfy with that discussion as she was not even aware what is feature charges and was keep saying you have activated the services and she has nothing to say ... totally crap not understand she doesn't have any detail was keep saying I am checking and again and again you have activated the service totally frustrating . I am not sure why you are charging me feature charges after port out . why didn't you charge me every month. Even you people are not sure what is feature charges and how can you other person make understand.

                                    I have idea post paid connection. In the bill dated 21.2.16, an excess amount of Rs 250 is charged for WAP downloading. I dont understand how they charged Rs 250 for WAP downloading. I am a lawyer practicing in High Court of Kerala. I dont know WAP. I am not using it. They tricked or cheated me under the guise of WAP.

                                        My name is Vikram Singh and I am using your Idea Cellular Services for more than 5 yrs now.But I am sorry to say this but your Idea Services is just going worst from bad.First of all you people sending bills which doesnt make any sense.Still I made the payment every time.But as they say everything has a limit and i am really sick and tired of your services.

                                        The reason why I am writing this email to you is because today I made up my mind that after using your Idea Services, I want to port my number and want to go to a different cellular operator, to which I was told that make the payment in full and your number will be changed and they said they make the payment in cash so that it would be done instantly.To which I went to your Rajouri Garden store and there I made the payment to your Front Desk Officer Name : Dimple.I made the payment of Rs.1200 in cash, although my billed amount was Rs.1156.I was told that my number will be ported and after spending my whole day today I came home.

                                        Coming back home to my surprise I received a message from Idea that my number cannot be ported because I have an outstanding amount of Rs.1156 which is ridiculous from your end.I mean you guys giving fake commitments and false answers.I called customer care number and they said that the payment is not reflecting.I have the receipt in my hand and I gave them the time the date the amount and the store name where I made the payment but they still kept saying the same thing.I called the store directly and told them why my payment is not reflecting.They just gave a lame answer that the payment cannot be updated today.I mean what the hell.If this was the case then you should have told me earlier, I wont have wasted my whole day doing this and would have paid online instead.

                                        And now you guys stuck me in middle as the porting request has been declined.Well I am really not happy with the way you guys treat your customers.I mean till the time I was with idea everything was ok and fine and now that i just want to move out of idea you guys creating this mess.
