Called to enquire about my plan as I was being overcharged. Customer care put me on hold and could hear them talking to another person. Dropped my call then n charged me double (1 Rs). Called again and then they said system was down and then charged me double again.

    when time of activation i had told to activate rs 199 pla of police ...The person who has activated this plan he had activated rs 149 plan...Due to this my bill is generated high and i had not used data of internet as much high..Idea has charge high bill

    plz way off my this month bill or tell me right amount how much to pay


    or i will close my connection or will port into other network and also intimate other to port from idea to other network...In my family total connection is 12 and my friend circle also has maximum connection we all will port into other network all connection are postpaid not prepaid...

          Dear sir,
          with due respect I inform that I had been using an idea postpaid no. [protected] spl.299 plan for 2 years, in the meanwhile the service operator did make and send to me fake bills many time, when I make complaint they use to say sorry and provide a waiver of rs. 100-200/- then I use to request them not to do this again but they did it oftentimes finally in the November of 2015 I told them that I am not capable to pay the fake bill and they deactivated my services and sent a bill of November I didn't pay the bill then an executive has contacted me and ask for the bill I told that if you will give me waiver of 50% of the final amount and in written not to do this again, I will avail the services otherwise I am unable to pay, avail the services, nothing happen at that time but after a month they sent again a bill for the month of December 2015. when I didn't pay the bill they are making calls to my contact persons while they have my e-mail Id, alternative contact no. but they use to threat my family members, and my family members are afraid and having mental harassment. so kindly help me out from these kind of illegal activities I will be thankful to you always.

              Reposting my earlier complaint as it was not successfully addressed.

              I(rahul mewar) had my number ([protected]) for last 8-9 years. As my dual sim mobile got faulty, i got call forwarding activated on it. But now its got permanently disconnected on 19 jan 2016. Went to punjabi bagh idea centre, they are saying its not available now. But its hardly 3 days since p.d..contact number [protected] and email id is [protected]@yahoo.com.
              I got a call from IDEA's social media team executive on 23rd jan 2016, confirming that i can reactivate my said number as its in 90 days grace period, i reconfirmed with her about the grace period, got the same reply . As per her instructions, i contacted the customer care helpline executive before going to service centre for confirmation. The customer care executive that i can go to any nearest Idea's service centre for activation when told about the received call in the morning . After confirmation, went to vikaspuri service centre, on 25th and 27th jan 2016, got could get any update as prepaid executive was on leave, and other employee only handled postpaid numbers. Today went to uttam nagar service centre, told everything to the executive, she confirmed that she didn't get had any update for the said number and, the number is booked in postpaid and cannot be dispersed, even when the number is in grace period as it was disconnected on 19th jan 2016. As per TRAI and consumer charter on IDEA' s website, it clearly mentions that the number can be retained back by customer in grace period. How can any number be booked within few days of deactivation but neither can be purchased in postpaid as its blocked by some agency.Its a total harassment of customer when TRAI has ordered to be transparent in activation and deactivation to the customer. Just being tortured and harassed for being loyal customer for so long . Wont recommend any to be a part of IDEA family, and port their numbers asap.
              P.S. : As i am being told thats its coverted to postpaid, so i went to buy it as postpaid, they deny it as its still not available in market.

                They charged me 90 + 90 rs total 180 rs. for vip games. But i have not requested for the vip games. So i called on 198 on the spot...they told me that you will be refunded at the time of bill generated. When bill was generated it was 180+16 rs total 206 rs. when i called them for refund they registered my complaint twice but they did not give me any refund yet. I have call records with 50 minutes of conversation on 198 but they are not processing my refund. Its too disturbing.

                  I have requested for mobile number portability in Idea cellular.
                  Their spoke person/ Agent from main branch Pune came to my place, collected all photograph took 50Rs in cash on date 10th Feb 2016.
                  Told me they will activate my new sim in 7-8 days.
                  No action took by idea yet. I also try customer care but they avoided this issue by saying document pending.
                  I also tried to talk with agent he says he will do it but no response from him yet.

                    They have activated glam world services on my no [protected]. I have deactivated at that moment. The customer care was telling your amount will be refunded by 16 Feb. It was not done till 17 Feb . I called again on 17 Feb . They said it will be done in next 4 hrs. Again not refunded . I approached customer care executive again they say it cannot be refunded. He is teaching rule he told u have not call us on time amount cannot be refunded. I[censored] can deduct why cannot refund. I want my balance back otherwise I will take some other route for the same.

                          i use the idea no [protected] with 5 years long, i reacharge regularly 199 of plan is 35000 seconds with last 2 years. now last 2 months this plan is reduce 32000 seconds of 199rs.so ur company not to maintain and care for old customer.so we need a benifits i continue in idea, otherwise i port other sim.

                            I am an idea customer for last 8 years. This is regarding the billing issue. I activated a GPRS 2G pack of 175 rupees on my postpaid number +91-[protected].one day one customer care executive called me in November 2015 and provide me 3G pack of 125 rupees per month for next three months.i activated this offer through this customer care executive. when bill generated of 9th dec 2015 then include both charge 175+125(2G pack and 3G pack). and this customer care executive did not tell that will charge of both pack (2G and 3G) for current month.
                            regarding this i have called 5-6 times to idea customer care and also raised the complaint on 25 Jan 2016. i will provide complaint number later. after 10 or 15 days from my complaint one customer care executive which name Jony called me and gave waiver of 175 rupees ( 2G pack).after 2-3 days of this jony's (customer care executive) call another customer care executive
                            called me and told your complaint has cancelled and will not give any waiver. i said that i used one pack so why am i paid of two pack. and when your executive activated 3G pack on my mobile number then did not tell me that will charge of both pack. and i said you can check call recording.
                            then executive( which name Tushar) told me we have not recording.


                            I want to refund of my 175 rupees because of provide me wrong information. Else I am planning to file a proper complaint in consumer court for harassment.

                                I was using an IDEA postpaid Sim card. I wanted to migrate from postpaid to prepaid. I had put a complaint for the same. I got a new sim card for prepaid and saying that It will get activated in 2-3 days. I was told to pay all requisite amount and some extra amount also. I paid around 575 Rs. After finishing all things from my side I was just waiting for activation of new sim, by the time I was calling from my old sim. But IDEA people deactivated my old sim and they did not activated new one also. Till today I am facing a problem. I am not able to call anywhere. Moreover, I am unable to do any online transaction by internet banking since this is my registered mobile number to get an OTP.
                                This is just a BS.
                                IDEA is worst cellular company I experienced. Please Help

                                  This sim card is not able to cut(micro sim), because it is very old sim card. I want to replace this card with new one, so that i can make it micro sim. This card is registered with my fathers ID Proof, and he has expired so i want to register this sim card, on my ID proof.

                                  When I went idea store drive-in branch, they told that" this num is very old series and they have not available new SIM, so go to Navrangpura branch and give them father's dead certificate and his id proof with your id proof and photo, they will give you new SIM".

                                  I went Navarangpura IDEA Store branch, At there one lady(Pallavi), told me that "you can not convert prepaid card on your ID proof, you must have to convert it on postpaid and then you can convert it on your proof... or you have to do sign of your mother on sim exchange form to get new sim card to exchange it and then it continue on your father's name"

                                  I have question that, I am his son so why can not i signed in my fathers proof, why my mother's sign only... ? Till now at every place, to transfer any document from my father to my name, i have submitted his death certificate and his one ID proof with my ID proof. At every place it is enough proof to transfer, still they try to irritating me.

                                  Customer care becomes to irritating people. people have no time to go every day customer care, at different-different places, for such small things(replacing sim with private company).

                                  Hope you will take strict steps in front of such people, and company which have unqualified employee

                                    Dear Team,

                                    I got a new Idea postpaid connection from the idea representative in our office Siemens electronic city. Here idea has provided an offer to give a free gift on each new connection (pen drive, laptop bag or power bank). I had submitted the docs in Dec last week and it was activated on Jan 7th 2016.
                                    And the Idea representative was changed by that time and because of this i have not yet received my free gift from them.
                                    Today when i asked them they say that it is not possible to give now.

                                    This is a complete fraud from idea.
                                    Here gift is not important but the fraud to sell their product should be taken care.

                                      I got sms from idea its mentioned that Recharge 58 rs. Benefit would be upto 1GB data but i got only 250Mb. i called to your executive they said this offer not applicable to me. if it is not applicable why did you sent fake sms offer.
                                      your executive names are: Chitra and rampriya.
                                      i dont bother about 58 rupees. its matter of trust. kindly credit my benefit 1Gb.

                                        I am not getting any 3g data offers at low cost for my mobile number. But my friends are getting offers for [protected]@124 rs itself. If I activate one day 3g pack for 8rs, am not getting 20mb of data instead money is deducted from my main account. If this issue persists, i will swap my sim to some other operator.
