I raise the issue with Corporate customer care Delhi, I visited there RO Noida, no solution, Then I decided not to pay extra charges and discontinue my 3 years old number. Now Idea recovery team threatening me for legal action.

• How tow data plan activate on same time...399 and 849?

Recently I received my bill of Idea Number: [protected] of amount: 16964.62/- . I have some question regarding this bill are as:

1. My credit limit is 2000/- Rs ..why its exceed ..?

2. My internet plan is 2Gb, I am getting my data uses message daily almost, if its near to limit.. I am getting data plan change messages ...However last month no message at all.

3. If my data plan is exceed, it should stop working or intimation about uses charges and data uses.

4. I received a call from number [protected], The lady represent her from Idea and inform me about uses of data and suggest me to change the data plan from 98 to 198 ..to get the reversal of extra uses. I agree to her give confirmation to change the plan. Still I received huge bill.



Let me know the resolution of my problem, Otherwise I have no option to discontinue this number.

1. My credit limit is 2000/- Rs ..why its exceed ..?

I have shifted my idea prepaid service to post paid.. My plan is Rs.199 and I have activated FNF pack.. In which numbers are also charged in my last month bill..In that pack rental is also added. That too my service was barred before billing.. The care people said that credit limit was crossed.. So call is barred..At that time I gave a complaint for this billing issue.. The people who interacted with me said that..The problem will be solved.. And It wont be repeated.. But again it is repeating in this month also.. 400 calls, 400 SMS and FNF charges are shown in un billed amount.. Now my service is barred.. Why I am suffering with their(Idea) procedural problems.. It is very bad to solve the problems which are facing by idea users.. Is there any different billing procedures for different users. Please activate my service.. Other wise I will change my network..

First I recharged with rs 96 to get 2g balance which has 30days validity then after 2 days i recharged with rs9 to activate 3g which has 1day validity, after 3g data consumed it says that previous plan is cancelled.but iam not facing such type of problems in other networks.

Hi, I've taken a new idea corporate connection in Pune passed 15 Days. The bill plan was 666 in which i was suppossed to get 1.5 GB free 3G internet. After a week I was facing some problem in using the internet at my place so I called upon the customer care to resolve the issue. I was been told that there is some system upgradation process taking place thats the reason I'm experiencing problem in GPRS. After a day my Internet service was completely stopped when I again called the customer care that I came to know that my 3G services have been De-activated that too without informing me. I kept on using the ineternet which charged me as per the default internet plan 3p/10kb some what. Due to which I crossed my credit limit of Rs 1000, and finally my services have been discontinued for the interim payment. Later on no resolution was provided to me, customer service people yelled at me, I had word with Avinash ( Sr. person) and Alim in contact centre. I have submitted the document on 8-1-2014 for post paid after a long follow up, complaints finally my number activated on[protected] after that I requested to activate the GPRS, he explained some plans so finally i selected 148 Rs 2 GB free 1 month validity he had taken a request to active and he informed please use after 12AM so for that there will be no charges, if you use before that there will be some charges applicable. The next day i called to customer care whether is activated or not after confirmation only i started to use a GPRS. So finally my bill is generated on 1st Feb i have not received any kind of bill even a single msg also, and that to they have update'd wrong email id i called to customer care on 3rd Feb i requested to change the email id he had take a request he did it. And i asked about my last month bill payment, he said 1159 Rs i got shocked whether it is mine or some one else i asked the details. He said you have used the GPRS more so for that charged 1159 Rs. When i have activated 148 Rs 2 GB data plan why the hell i need to pay 1159 Rs..?? Is it i'm fool..?? Or idea making me fool..?? My family friends and Colleagues are getting call from idea cellular legal representative : [protected] saying there is legal case against me. They are using abusing and threatening language to threat them by saying that their is a legal matter against me and i will have to bear the consequences and soon all will come to know about it.

First of all I need to know few details from idea.

1. As per TRAI any telecom company can not share customer dialed number history with anyone, why idea is giving my confidential information to there legal representative?

2. Why the idea legal representative calling to my family friends and colleagues using harsh, rude, abusing and threatening language ?

This is really unacceptable, i am a software professional and have worked in MNC's like HCL, Capgemini. I have been using corporate plan of idea, i will take this matter to my company's corporate HR and stop idea service here. Also i will ask my friends in other companies to share this info with their HR's as well.

I want to know the answer of above question from idea as soon as possible.

Secondly, if i was not reachable than why could not idea sent a letter to my permanent address provided instead of circulating my confidential numbers to Idea legal representative to degrade my image and mentally harass me, my family friends and colleagues.

I was having a Airtel prepaid mobile number what I converted into Idea. But after the conversion I found that the network coverage of Idea is pathetic and I don't get any network at my home (@Malviya Nagar, Delhi) & at my office (@Saket, New Delhi). More over I outgoing is barred not due to negative verification by there executive on which I have every doubt about its truthfulness as the verification executive never responded no the number what he left at my door when he came first day without intimation me during office hours. After that I did lots of communication with Idea customer care but till now they didn't give any solution to me. I'm really feel cheated because of this unprofessional attitude of Idea personnel. They are hopeless.

I recieve and SMS from IDEA cellular which promises double data and validity on 98 Rs. I get it done and I get only half of what is promised. I call the customer care and they tell me...to call back after an hour...then after 4 hours...then finally they ask me to visit nearest Idea office. (in background is the sound...dial 1 2 1 ...idea office will come ! ) The nearest idea office from my village is 100 KM. I can't go there just for this...98rs...On fon ...They refuse do resolve it. Simply cheated and took my money. I still have SMS and other details with me...

This complain is about the [protected].

The above number was being used by my mom and was abandoned by her after she left the City for good in May 2013. The Number was diconnected by Idea Cellular due to Non payment. I recieved a call on[protected] about a case being slapped on me by Idea-Dlf for Non payment and was aksed to speak to the lawyer if I wanted to settle the case outside the court. I called the lawyer -Mr. Rakesh and we agreed to put the matter to rest by paying the balance. I cleared the Dues and asked them to shut down the no. to which I was told that I had to do it at an Idea showroom. But since I was not in town and IN srinagar, where Idea has not ventured yet and has no showrooms. Hence I got to submit the application for its closure in Dec 2013.

To add to the misery Idea has slapped Rental cahrges Rs 349/month in inspite of me clearing my dues earlier in November and not to mention that the Number was still Temporarily Disconnected and also we hadnt requested for reactivation.I submitted a request for a waiver which was a legitimate request. I had faced the same issue with VODAFONE when I was in Bangalore. They rectified it and gave me a waiver since I never used the Number and also it was disconnected from comany's side.

Keeping the above scenario is mind I dont think any company can charge Call Plan Rentals from customers even when the Number is temporarily disconnected. And if Idea is doing it, it is induldging in fordgery and unscrupulous acts only to extract money from customers.

It gets worse. I get another call from the same lady intimidating me of slapping another case and the same story all over again. This is ridiculous.

I wish to bring this to the notice of the Authorities and make em realise that its putting a bad impression on your potential and present customers. I am not the only one who has an issue with this way of treatment. I am still using my [protected] under Idea service provider for the past 3 years. I would certainly think twice abt continuing to use your services the way I am being treated like a criminal and that too for no fault of mine.
What happened the waiver request? And how can the company slap a case without informing or addressing the customer about the pending request over the issue?

Kindly siff the real culprits from genuine defaulters with legitimate greivances and redress them apprpriately.
