Misinformation about GPRS charges by the call center representative, I was told will be charged Rs 37 for using 75MB data after exceeding I GB interenet pack .Company sends a bill thats charges me around Rs 500 for using 75 MB .When called back spoke to same agent he admitted he gave me wrong information & also logged a complaint. But unfortunately Idea not taking any accountability/liability for it. Have been following up since a fortnight but have not received any revert on email/calls.Just auto emails that they will get back.Have suggested that they listen to the call and revert but no use..Please help me

    I am using Idea mobile No. [protected], and for current month I have received high bill amount @ 13000 Rs. During enquiry, the reason for bill is of against 450 MB excess GPRS usage. On mobile the 2GB-98 Rs plan is availed. Due to some mal-function in mobile device cause excess usage, but till last month I use to receive the alert on daily basis or alternate day for data usage which was keeping me update, were as in current month I didn’t received any such SMS. Moreover, after the exceed of quota on usage, I haven't received any call or alert from Idea. (In case if don’t pay the monthly bill on time, I receive series of call or service gets dis-connected) So requesting the support in resolving the matter, as I can’t afford to pay any money on part of system failure or issue.       Dear Sir, My Mobile no is [protected]. I have done 3G Data recharge of 127 Rs (1GB) on 5th Dec 2013 at 9:19 PM and my recharge was done successfully and I have got successful recharge message “ Priya Grahak, Aapnu 3g Internet pack-127Rs ma 1GB 30divas mate active thai gayu che. vadhu data plans ni jankari mate dial karo 1212(TollFree)”. But when I am using internet data charges are deducted from my talk time balance and 3G data balance remain same. When I am checking my data balance using *125# number it shows “Data Bal in ur accoung 1024.00 MB valid till Jan 03 2014”. When i have called Customer Care and they told ISF means Idea Smart Phone and u will use this, I don't have a Idea Smart Phone. They are not written ISF meaning on their web site. So i want to revert my balance in to talk time. Can you please help me in this?

        wow, this is really funny. I have 10 GB post paid pack of 3G services on my Netsetter datacard that I use for internet on number [protected] and have been getting very poor data or no data at times that I really need it. But, when I tether connect my phone 3G internet which is on iDea too, the internet is pretty good. Which means ... for the same location and services idea will allow lower bandwidth for netsetter than the one on the phone. I need my netsetter connection fixed please and don't have a novice tech guy call me asking me to clean my cookies, go to network> register etc which is not the case here. Here's my number to call [protected] and I have three idea accounts in total. This is really frustrating to say the least. Also, please don't try calling at this number [protected] which is used in my netsetter and obviously I can't answer calls there.

        Well, the speed is good for a couple of days after I file my complaints and is back to normal crawling speed now. I can barely talk to my clients via Skype and the speed is worst from 7 pm to 10 pm when I need the most. let me know if you guys are not able to do anything about it and will take my services somewhere else. I could loose my job over this.

          iam getting wrong calls vulgar messages and threatening warnings from the mobile no. [protected].., [protected] when iam calling he is not recieving calls otherwise switching off. But every night he is tourturing me with calls and messages. Please sir get me rid out of this it is so kind of me. Thanking you sir!..

                  Sir my number is [protected]. My name is jayesh jogadia when i purchase this number i provide my driving licence and pancard and own hand written subcribers form. After 6 months my card not working in my phone so i decide to call custmor care ..when they asked about my identity i ans them but they says this number is not in your name i shock and 2 day go to direct idea gallary wher i purchased the sim they called that some mistek from back end and we cant do this bcoz this is prepaid number .. i[censored] want the name change convert into postpaid ... i want to know that how can be such inresposible thay are... every time i called or i am going to other gallary they says same thing that ur identity didnt match on this no. Pls help me out ... this is my mumbai card and old one that im using 3g service on it.. so i do not want to loose and want that they cleary mention my name and proof of identity as i submit...

                  my number is contactable and idea person talk to me and they said to me that for 72 hours my card been blocked after that card on my name .. I say I am from Mumbai when I take card 3g was available that time I have that old card so if I decide to block for 72 hours you gave me new card so what is my benefit ??? where is my 3 g connection ?? tell me that ...

                  I want to know that I am not complaining about any other person name in that card and want to convert in my name . this card is in my name is only and they mistake in name and address may name is jogadia jayesh bhimji they write there jayendra jogya bhimji that's it ...same mistake in my address also ...

                  I thank full to you to such a fast response of my complaint ... but I have one complaint to your side also one person call me on yesterday and tell about my complaints and he said that your complaints solved within 12 hours and you have to pay 50 rs as a charges . I agreed and I say gave me the link that I pay to you as a charges he said just gave me your debit card no. I gave then he say gave me expiry date and all thing I gave and then say cvv no. /// what the hell?? cvv no. how can I gave that no. to unknown person... if you have charges clearly mention and get payment option in your website ... its email add is : [protected]@gmail.com ... if you not solving this complaint its okie my card is working no problem to me at all I just checking other website and I seed one person complaints in your site and I thought that i will try for my complaints that's it ...

                      hello i am a idea cellular customer of orissa circle and my no. is [protected]. my name is adarsh choudhury this connection is in my name. i have paid a very high amount for this no. as it is a premium number and i cant leave. no other customer use idea network as a postpaid rather they use prepaid connection, inspite all this i have taken a postpaid connection thinking that being a highly reputed company like idea cellular limited (Aditya Birla) will give best of service to their customers but all i got was opposite of it. it is disgusting that been a highly reputed company will treat me as a valueless customer as i have faced and having lot of problems mentioning under below: 1. i am not receiving my monthly bill in time rather receiving the same after a month from the due date of the payment, and when i complained about the same at the end of the due date the executive of your customer care comparatively solving my matter he suggests me to pay the bill or i will be charged late fees for the non payment of bill. 2. to get the bill in time i had called your customer care and activated e-bill given my mail id to your customer care representative as [protected]@gmail.com by spelling each and every word but your uneducated executive took it as [protected]@gmell.com. this clearly shows are untrained, uneducated and even don't know the alphabets "a" of the english grammar and when i complained about this problem the executive inspite doing the needful he started arguing. 3.they have unnecessarily have charged me a gprs bill of aroud rs 200 although i had a gprs pack of 1gb duly confirmed from your customer care. 4. i have tried to change my plan for rs 149 rental pack since last 15 days but till date the same haven't been done by your representative and now they are saying the 149 plan has been waved off and only old customer can enjoy the benefits. atlast but not the least you are at the liberty to do as per your suitability. but i have no other way left than to knock the door and take shelter of law in sambalpur orissa as i am residing here. your company has fully harassed me and given me mental harassment as i am continuously calling your representative around five times a day since last 10 days.

                            Hi, On my current idea bill which I received on 19Nov 2013 there are so many discrepancies. i was activated default internet browsing on my no [protected] on 10 Nov 2013 at 2paise /10kb calling to customer care, but in bill charged as 2paise/1kb & bill received 442 rs of 22 MB Usage of internet data, then i call customer care but bill not correct so help me...

                              My Name is Nasir Hotagi, I had been taken Idea postpaid service after ported out from my Vodafone postpaid earlier in july 2013, after getting repeated sales call from their allies, I had promised to be given same tariff as i was getting in vodafone, including free unlimited 2g internet, which i was getting in vodafone, and also i had provided them with my vodafone bills which supported this, and also i was told u would be getting bill less than vodafone as per your current usage, but to my complete disappointment i was charged rs 4800, 2 months bill in which aproximate rs 4000 charges levelled against my 2g internet usage, which is normally rs 299 unlimited at every service provider, i complaint about the same, on customer care where i was told to write mail, which i did, and i reicived a froud call from their allies asking me to pay charges for voice calls which is around 800rs, and rest will be waived off which is for internet usage, i trusted and paid same charges, and to my disappointment again, the same number never picked off my call, since i feel it is only for dupe customer, then again I followed up with customer care, they ask me to visit my idea store, which was mostly closed down, finally i visited koparkhirane my idea, which was open, and i had made waited for atleast 1 hour due to problem in their system...after 1 hour, checking their details, i was simply told that we cant do anything, i asked furthur point of action, any senior managment persoan, but they refused to say anything, finally they disconnect service to my no [protected] which i was using from past 5-6 years and i was paying timely bills and happy with earlier service provider..vodafone, just for switching to indian brand i joined idea, but i was complety harrased and duped by them, again chain of harransement started by sending me notice, and giving me calls and my frequenty contacted no..ie my office personal, relatives, freinds, saying that i have been trailing under legul trail and in which they have been refered as witness by myself, and started getting calls from them asking about which case?? blah blah blah, , , this is the worst experience with my entire life about any service provider...i urge everyone to think twice before any services from Idea cellular ltd.

                              My trust in this brand is completly shattered by these incident, and most of the things i have not added in above posting such as, i recieved even mail from your side stating i'm confined to get waiver from your side for internet usage, and even once stating request of waiver is initiated and you will be getting same within some time.

                              These mail i'm still having with me, but to my utter disaappointment these promises also not fullfilled by you, on the contary disconnected my services, even i told customer care i'm ready to pay voice calls bill and, internet 2g bills @ 299/month. but no efforts was made by your company to help me, it was a mistake from your side, i told them, you must be having recordings of calls with you atleast welcome call in which all tarriff was mentioned to me and i asked about what about gprs, they asked me what you were getting, i replied, free of cost, since i m an old customer of vodafone, they told, here also u will be getting free...you should find real culprit, if someone made wrong promise to make sale, not your customers.

                              sinciery, i was harrased that time, and also this was my old number, and everyone has it, so i missed lot of contacts as well.

                                Our Idea Number: [protected] According to the full talk-time offer on *122# RS 20=RS 20 full talk-time offer, we had recharged for RS 20 on 23-November-2013 at 7:04 PM and we have received only 15.8 RS talk-time and 4.2 RS talk-time has not been credited to the account after 4 hours. This is a very dirty trick and deliberate fraud by Idea Cellular.

                                Idea Cellular's concerned team is giving excuses like recharge not updated in the system, technical issue is going on etc.


                                We had raised a complaint regarding full talk-time benefit not given with the Idea customer care on

                                24-November-2013 at 10:55 AM and at the end of the call we get the message that the same complaint has been

                                resolved successfully which is totally a false reply from Idea Cellular.


                                Idea Cellular is not bothered about solving the customer's complaint and only makes fake promises.


                                Also please don't believe their fake advertisements.


                                My sincere advise to others those who are interested to port in to Idea is "Please stay away from this operator".


                                They will definitely make your life much worse than hell.

                                  Hi, Conversation started August 17 Sameera Verma 8/17, 8:42pm Sameera Verma Following is the details I already submitted to idea. Still they kept harassing with fake calls saying case against in Tees Hazari court. Name : Ganesh Gembali Number : [protected] Service request number : S1/[protected] I was user of idea cellular since last 10 years (ever since I began using mobile). [protected] was my number till December 2011. Then I have been to Holland for an year so closed that number. I have returned back in Jan 2013. I have applied for a new connection from Shop No - 10, Krishna Market, Saraswati vihar, Gurgaon. The number is [protected]. But with in few days, I lost the sim and went back to apply for a duplicate. He explained a very big procedure. I asked him to close the connection. For a connection which I haven't used at all he said I had to pay 250 to close the connection. Even I paid that instead of arguing. But that guy didn't gave me any receipt saying he has received a closing request. He said servers were down, he will process as soon as they are up. I trusted him as I have been visiting that store for bill payments or any other ideacellular services for 4 years. In between I got call from idea people asking for bill payment and I clearly told them I have already closed the connection and I am not goin to pay any money. Last month I got so many harassing calls saying "Tees Hazari court" case from a lady then someone disguising as a lawyer. I defnitely they are some village crooks hired by idea to harass customers. They kept calling and disturbing me and my family. I thought it would be better to pay off 2500 instead of arguing and wasting my time with such crooks who dont have any respect for people. You have no idea how vulgar language they have used. I have some recordings of those conversiation to file a case. But because my wife didn't want to get into such mess, I didn't proceed and paid bill and asked the guy who called from idea cellular to close the connection. Again yesterday I got call asking for bill. Please check the calling history of my number. Does it look like I am using it. I dont even have sim. I requested for closing each time someone called me. Hope you will look into this and close the connection immediately. Please think from my side, getting harassed like this. I request you to take action against the idea cellular store at krishna market gurgaon and stop using those goons calling and harassing innocent customers. There is a limit to our patience. Once that is crossed, its not good even for a big corporation like you. Hoping for quicker and proper action.

                                  IdeaCellular — regarding net pack data

                                  I recharged net pack from my phone and there it was written that you will get 150 mb data on recharge of Rs 15. But they said this pack is active for 3 days and you will get 75 mb data but when I cross checked it was again showing 150 mb data for 4 days. And they are even not listening to my complaints

                                    I am Neha jabin studing msc i was purchase post paid sim in year of 2011 till sep 2013 i am using post paid bill 5 month back my bill amount come min rs 300/- to max 400/- so 5 month back when i go to pay bill in idea cellular ltd it under taken by perfect association they told me there is a offer for gnenium customer they told that
                                    idea providing new connection for your old no is [protected] and new no [protected] the idea shop sales told me that offer is same like your old no plan is every month 550 min free and 1000 sms free every month when my post psid bill comes i shock to see that both no haved offerent no now my bill amount is total rs 4950/- i already paid amount rs 1100/- for mob no [protected] and the pending amount i dont want to pay because product to me cause they mis sale mis guide hence take my complain

                                      My mob. no. is [protected] & i am customer of idea maharashtra. Today ie 21st nov 2013 my A/C balance at 4PM was 206. At 8:30PM the bal. is showing only Rs80 I have not made any lengthy or overseas call. when I contacted customer care of idea they replied that it takes about 4hrs to update the details in their system This is in fact a theft from my a/c & I expect idea to immediately credit back the amount to my a/c Satish Marathe

                                        I got two postpaid connection of Idea [protected] and [protected] of Delhi circle. The firstone one will bill plan of 399 and second one with bill plan of 899. I went to my home town and while in the roaming my mobile no [protected] got disconnected without sending any message/call or any information from service provider. After reaching noida i called customer care and asked for reason of disconnection. They told me to pay INR 1200/- to make active [protected] while i paid INR 1250/-. Still my connection did not activate, After a few day i got bill with INR 1957/- out of that already i paid INR 1250/-. Again i called customer care to active my mobile as my credit limit sanction by idea was INR 800/-. While they told it will be active in a day. After 10 days also mobile did not activate and after a few day again i called customer care and asked reason of disconnection. They told me to pay INR 1361.08 and also clarified that they are closing my connnection. I asked the reason of closing my connection unilaterally while customer care replied that its their company policy. Today i got a call from mob no [protected] and told that he is the inspector incharge from a police station and told me to speak to phone no [protected] as Mr. Sabharwal and he is a renowned advocate at delhi. I got doubt and traced the number at true caller and got to know that first number is comming as advocate and second number as Mr. Prashant Kohli. I called at mobile number [protected] to speak to Mr. Prashant and told that i am at Hyderabad now and explained whole issue. First of all he told that he is Mr. Sabharwal and Mr. Prashant his assistant and used slang language and further told to pay bill in 30 min (INR 1361.08). Now i have already paid INR 1381.08 at idea website for Mobile number [protected] (Ref no MHCC[protected]). Further now, i want to close my another idea connection number [protected]. I dont want to receive any call from Idea or Mr Prashant Kohli ([protected])/Mr. Sabharwal or his friend as both lied and used slang language. I request idea to take care as their payment already been made, i should not receive any call from anyone, failing that i will be forced to go to consumer court. Idea Customer care: Plz close my another number [protected] asap. and let me know how much i need to pay to close the connection. Regards Mr. Shridhara Mishra
