      I have purchased nokia lumia on 22 may .I was entitled for a promo offer from idea which stated that I will get 2 gb data free per month forntwo month I enquired about the same from the idea store and port my sim to idea .Now when I ask the customerncare people they are telling that I wont be able to get the offer because I have ported from vodafone.This not only shows the sorry state of affairsnat idea but also shows your dis respect for the customer who has ported from other service provider.please help me by resolving this issue .

      IDEA Cellular Services — documents given to idea executive has not been submitted

      Hi,

      I have been continuously troubled by Idea cellular customer care department for my documents submitted to continue the number
      I submitted my documents and the bills to the idea executive because i went to the idea showroom where my documents were rejected because the documents weren't listed in the list given my IDEA

      And this happened after confirming the documents 4 times from your customer care department
      SO my issues as follows:
      1) wrong information given to the customer(4 times)
      2) Documents given to your idea executive has not yet been submitted and every day my calls are barred from morning till evening
      Everytime i call your idea executive they cut my call or even if they pick up they hear my voice an dcut my call then

      I have been facing this issue from two weeks now

        I had made a request for MNP from Idea to Airtel on 25th of May 2013. The UPC ID is- ID955399. I got a message from IDEA on 29th May that your request will be processed within 44 hours and the request number is - C1-[protected]. And, then I got message from Airtel on 02nd June 2013 that the request is rejected by donor as there are subsisting contractual obligations from the subscriber agreement. Then, I called up the IDEA customer care to understand the reason, and they were unable to give any valid answers.

        Please advise the further course of actions regarding the same.

        Idea — Porting to idea

        I had my number [protected] ported-in to idea. the process started in late Oct-11. I got a verification call on 28.10.11. I told him that i am out of station today, but you can come and meet me on any of next three days. He didn't turn up. So i had to call idea agent to start verification process again. Meanwhile the agent was transferred to another place. So only phone communication was possible. It took a week or so to do verification. Till 15th Nov, i was calling every alternate day to customer care and did get different answers for non-activation of number. on 16th, i was told that the number is being activated on 11th. i told the customer care guy that i already have simcard inserted in phone. he said that the sim must have damaged and i must go to nearest outlet and get it replaced.
        once i went to outlet, the girl working there asked me where did i get the sim? i answered her that i got it from your agent. so she said that i must pay 50 Rs for sim-replacement. i denied. and after half hour battle, she was ready to replace it at no charge. next day, i went there with photo-id proof she asked and got the sim replaced.
        it again took another day to start activation, again with follow-up with retail outlet people. still the phone was only had incoming facility, not outgoing.
        i waited for another day, and again contacted customer care. the guy told me that i haven't submitted the documents, hence the service is restricted. meanwhile, i got the rental bill for a month, for which i didn't get any services.
        Now: if idea guys think that my documents are not with them, then how come this port-in was possible?
        if they have misplaced it, then how it should be my responsibility? and how come should i come to know about it?
        if a brand new sim is damaged, then why should i pay for it?
        and, if they think they don't have any documents and they can't activate sim for this reason, then what right they have to charge me?
        (i don't expect answers for it from any idea guys, because i beginning to feel that there is no such department as customer care in there)

          Idea — Access Amount in Bill

          Sir,
          I had received my monthly bill from 16 Aug to 15 Sep. 2009. In this bill the previous amount taken by you is 321.46. But the actual previous amount is 271.46. The amount of Rs. 326.46 was a after due date amount but I had deposited the bill ( Rs. 275 ) on dated 15 Aug 09. So the previous amount should be 271.46 instead of 321.46.Now the current bill is of Rs. 282.50 but it should be of Rs. 232.50. Please do the needful.

            30/05/2013 i unexpectedly take 5rupees loan at that time i didn't have balance in my account. after that i recharged with 20 rupees they deduct 5 rupees from me. on 31/05/2013 i message about 30 rupees full talktime offer. when i recharged with 30 i got only 18 ruppes. i talk with idea customer care on 1/06/2013. he didn't give proper response and putoff the call in the middle of conversation.

            Idea West — Unexpected Balance deduction

              I brought nokia Lumia 720 on 25 may 2013. Behind the Phone box there was a offer which gives the user 2GB of 3G internet free for two months. I am using a idea number in my lumia 720. My internet pack is still not activated. I have called both idea and nokia customer care and registered complaint in nokia customer care. Its been more than a week I bought the phone.

              Idea — Reliancemoney.com not opening since April 06, 2009

              It sounds really fishy that all sites open and work well with idea internet connection, except for reliancemoney.com and rmoney.mobi? No idea at whose end this technical problem is. If any of the idea/reliancemoney staff are reading about this issue, will they please care to fix the issue asap?

                  I have changed my network from DOCOMO to IDEA using number portability option last month and I have taken new Idea sim from Mothinagar Idea Show room by submitting all my address proof docs (Adhar Card copy and PAN card copy). My service is activated by IDEA customer care by calling to my mobile, and conformed my Address with the submitted documents at the time. I used to been getting calls till 29th May 2013.

                  On 30th May my services were stopped without any sms,call from Idea. When I contacted customer care I was informed that I am not using my number from last 45 days, so they stopping the service. Its my regular personal phone which I am using from the last 6 years. I ask them for call records. They said they dont have any call records on my number. I ask them how this could happen to a customer, their response was so bad and saying your sim is not going to activate do what ever you want to do you can do. The answer is very rude.When I asked him about intimation of deactivation from operator the executive said that no intimation is done by company in this case.

                  When I asked him to log complaint he refused me by saying that complaint cannot be logged in this case. And I ask him to transfer the call to his senior.After sometime call was disconnected & no complaint was logged.
                  I did not made any request for same & services were stopped from operator end.
                  This type of issue has also been observed previously.

                  Please help me regarding. This my personal number which I am using from the past 6 years. This IDEA is troubling me to continue with my number.

                  Idea Prepaid — disconnection without any information

                  I have bought an LG mobile on 20/09/08 and I got a free idea sim card with this mobile instrument. The no of the sim was [protected]. I had provided all the documents asked by the idea while receiving the sim i.e.
                  1. one identity proof
                  2.One photo to shopkeeper

                  and I have paid Rs. 120 for activation (i.e Rs 111+9). Also, i got a recharge done for RS 100 and paid Rs 180 for making local mobile calls @ 50 p.

                  But on 04/10/08 services from my mobile have suddenly been taken back without any pre intimation.

                  When I tried to enquire in customer care of idea cell ltd. The customer care is telling me to send sms on 4444 and i m not even able to send this sms from the mobile.I have been contacting the shopkeeper, he told me that it will be done but till date nothing is done.

                  Even now, i dont know what to do, i m a very busy person and cannot spare time to visit Idea office personally which is 15 kms away from my workplace.

                  this is speaking very poor about a company whose founders BIRLAS have been so respectable in India to be quoted everywhere.

She stays in tirupati at present. When i have enquired from my side seriously, i have got two doubts in the form of clues. one is the person who knows this girls number might have given the same to any of his colleagues in nearest idea call centre where in she is getting messages. second any agent who offered her the reliance phone might have done this with their friends in idea.                   i saw my mobile no. [protected] balance on date 08/09/2009. i have seen my Rs.20 had deduct by company (idea). than i call customer care on date 09/09/2009. they said to me that you have a faciliy of music station form may09. but i have no call and sms for this facility. they gave me a complain no.[protected]. this complain processed on date 14 sep 14.10pm. but i have recevied a massage on date 11 sep09. the massage is "your complain has been precessed". than i called coustemer care. but i was not satisfied by them.
                  I can say only this when i have this facility form may09 than why my account was deduct on sep09 (two time 20*2=40 Rs) why not before it? company ( idea) have off this facility after my complain?

                  Idea Prepaid Cellular — Unnecessary Ads even after DND registration

                  Idea Cellular has started a new irritant by trying to work around the DND laws. They have started advertising for 10-15 seconds when you dial out and you have to listen to their ad before the call goes through. When you call their customer service to complain, they call it a "facility" which cannot be discontinued. Why should a paying customer listen to their ads if he does not want to?

                  Really need help on this. Thanks!

                  Idea Cellular — Services stopped even after doc submission

                  I have taken a Idea prepaid connection (Phone No.[protected]) from Phalak Mobiles, NIBM road. I submiited the documents twice within a month at the shop Phalak Mobiles and still I got a message from Idea that documents are not there so we are barring your service. Voter ID xerox and photos were submitted and this may be misused to get another connection without my knowing if it has not been submitted. I called up Idea main office and went to local office. They are been activating the services without giving me any Intimations. 1) Miss Call Alerts. 2) cricket alert 3) dailer tune... idea don't even care to intimate me to for activation of my Value added services Why is it so????
                  i mean what pathetic is this without my concern u guys are activating my service I mean what is this... I am not a fool to pay the many for everytime i don't this thing to be repeated again.. whenver i called to cust care executives they just tell that"mam apne actiavte kiya.. hum isme kuch nahi kar sakte' even if i call immediately they say that agar apne jaldi call kiya hota to hum refund kar sakte,, now we are helpless... i don't want to repeat it again if this hapen again i'll straight away do MNP.. hope il get positive reply from your end..

                  This is ridicules. As I said I am using this number. I used get on 29 the evening. How can you say that this is permanently disconnected. I as the per some sources said you are going to give this number to someone else? I have been using from the past 6 years. Unnecessarily I changed my network to idea. It this the way u treat customers. How can u disable my number which I am using. I got all the call lists from my friends to whom I called on last week. I will complaint against IDEA in Consumer forum.

                      While browsing on my mobile, I selected a pic. Then I was redirected to a new page, which was blank. Then I recieved a message-
                      Your Idea Talkies has been activated. Amount charged is Rs 36.0 /- for 1Month. Renewal charge is Rs [protected]@1Month as applicable. To deactivate sms UNSUB imitm to 54300

                      This was totally insane. But this was not enough. I applied to deactivate the service, but there was no renewal of money to my account. My no. is [protected]. I gave a call to customer service, but the answer was unsatisfactory.
                      I have searched net for this, and I came to know that this is very common problem. How does it happen, is idea involved in all this?

                      Idea — Unauthorized Deduction

                      This is a serious issue with the mobile service providers,.I use Idea.
                      I recharged my mobile on 29/12/2010 and Rs 10 were deducted on 30/12/2010 morning for sms filmy subscription.I never wanted any kind of value added services,and when I called the customer care I was been informed that i activated the service when there was a promotion call
                      I have not answered any call from idea as I do not answer unknown no.
                      I want these companies to understand the importance of thier customer
                      If this continues I will dissconnect all my services including post paid no.
                      I am Anik Garg no. [protected]. I used Idea services for 3 years but on 24th Jan 2011 requested for port in to Airtel which was even acknowledged by the code generated. As per the standard time time limit my port in process should be done till 31 Jan 2011 but even after 16 days of waiting ( today 10th Feb 11) my airtel no. have not activated As per your record told by the customer care executive my number has been ported in to airtel on 28th Feb itself but still my previous service provider Idea is active and Airtel sim in not.

                      Already 16 days has passed from my portability request. This kind of liberal attitude is not accepted and if quick action is not taken by you then legal action will be taken.

                        After a lot of harassment by executives at Idea Network, I am contacting you regarding an issue which they are not resolving (stating that their system is correct).

                        My Idea No. is [protected] and my mother's Airtel no. is [protected]. Both these numbers are from Delhi but whenever I send an SMS to this airtel number, the deductions made to my balance are international charges but call charges are local. I have raised complaints in IDEA regarding the same, the SR Nos. for which are 1-[protected] and 1-[protected] but the resolution they gave me was that the no. "[protected]" (which is a local airtel no.) is an international number. Moreover, they are asking me to put +91 to it, which I did, but still International charges were deducted.

                        I am not able to understand instead of resolving this issue and admitting that there is a flaw in their system, they are constantly arguing that the local airtel number is an international number. The executives I had a word with are Surya Prakash, Snehal and their team. Either they are not properly trained or educated to resolve such critical complaints or they do not understand the system which they have been using.

                        Sir, I request you to take appropriate action against them because as a consumer I have faced a lot of harassment from their executives. Also, I would want all the money to be refunded which was deducted from my account incorrectly.

                        My idea cell no. is [protected], on 20th december 2010, I recharged with an amount of Rs.111, by the evening i see that i have a balance of around Rs. 15, no one else use my cell, i even checked with my outgoing calls from the customercare that does not reflect how that amount could be deducted either, i informed the same to the customer care executives, they dont have any info about the deduction and nobody will help me there in the customer service. I have a service for callertune but that Rs. 30 amount gets deducted at the beginning of the month which i am aware of, and it has nothing to do with this deduction. If this is how the customers are treated where can we go.I feel cheated.............................

                        Idea — Incorrect Deductions

                        I have been using Idea service from the past 6 years. Usually, the service used to be worst..but somehow i had resolved my query. However, in the last 10 days, i have been calling like anything and no one bother to resolve my query.

                        Agents would not know what they are talking about. For the same thins i have called for 4 times and without any resolution. Idea does not understand the value of money,if they have to rob money like this, they can request the customer and we will donate it to them but this is not the way they are making use of the innocent customers.

                        Idea Cellular — Wrong Deductions made from the account

                        Dear Team

                        On 30th Nov 2012 morning I received a SMS from Idea Celluar's end that 3G services were activated on my cell and i would be getting 100 free Mb for intial moment . But when i made an Data access that day then i was shocked to see Rs.129 deducted from my account. Later on when I called their customer care services thrice, my call was disconnected by all the three executives, One of them whom i remember by name Amit said that he could not understand me in english language so he was forwarding my call to his senior but the call was disconnected.

                        Later when i communicated the same to them in a written format, they checked the details. On 8th Dec , I received a call from Rohan who confirmed the wrong delivery of sms and said that my deductions would be paid back to me. But later on I was informed that there was no such sms sent to me and the deductions made were correct. Since 15th of Dec 2011, I have not heard any thing in this regard from Idea's end. After a long 1 months followup , I am forced to report this issue to you.

                        As per mail trail and telephonic conversation with Rohan , it was accepted that the deductions made to my account were due to a wrong message which was sent to me on my cell. Rohan promised me on 8th that the amount would be reverted back and i would receive a confirmation message regarding this one done. But now I have received a call where the executive clearly states that no msg was sent to me and my amount would not be refunded. Please do clarify the reason for this turn of events. I still have your message saved with me by which i can prove that the message was sent to me. Please do explain and get this issue resolved. I am highly disappointed with your services. Please don't force me to close down my 4.5 yr long account with Idea and move to some other operator

                        Hi Idea Cellular,

                        After repeated complaints, I have noticed that the incorrect deductions made to my number are still there. Also, now whenever I restart my phone, I receive a message from[protected] every time and a deduction of Rs.5 is made for the message I receive. Since I noticed it recently I have observed that in my previous bill I have made a payment for Rs.140 for the same.

                        Whenever I call your helpline, they disconnect my call after hearing the situation. I will not pay any money for the incorrect deductions you have made. Also, if I receive no response from Idea in next 24 hours, I will file a charge sheet and case in consumer court for the same. You will be responsible for all the expenses made in the process. Also, you will be liable for all the harassment I have faced as customer of Idea.

                              I am having 34+ Idea postpaid connection on my firm name as on CUG. [protected] & [protected] for the ref.
                              But still no Relationship Manager {RM} is being provided from last 1 year.
                              every time i put mail regarding for the same.
                              i did not getting any reply regarding this.
                              because we cant give direct request of activation of any services.
                              and if i am giving request through the mail....no reply....
                              sometime it takes 4-5 days...sometimes 8-10 days.
                              and for the one service activation within the CUG group...i have to mail daily with same specification till service cant get activated.
                              Is this going to pursuit again i will change my Provider.

                                Sir, I have postpaid plan(199 pm ) n credit limit is 1300 only . System is this if I use more than 70% of amt of limt ,it will automatic generate sms alert on phone that u crossed limit ,pl.pay first bill than u can enjoy services. Its good. But in my case my bill cycle is 15th to 15th. I paid last month bill for 15th April to 15th may. from 16th may to 25th may my bill amt. become 2245 outstanding due to gprs n others. Co. stopped my services n said pay the bill first. I said how is it possible that ur system auto generate sms for it. If I used more than 70% that is 910(70% of 1300) . U must have stopped my services n should call to me.N I want bills details they say I cant show before 15th of June. U have to pay full amt first. This is what????

Idea is deduction my all amount on date[protected] Rs. 1730/- I am not use any service But customer care told me you used internet in your mobile. Please sole my this problem.

                                    dear sir/ madam

                                    i have idea postpaid 499 plan and my credir limit in this is rs 500. on 6th may they barred my number as my credit limt exceeds and then i gave a request on same day to increase my credit limit and i gave a bill copy of my previous bills of my airtel( on their demand) to Mr. Manish
                                    on 20 may Mr. Manish(working in idea office, jind branch) said that your credit limit is not yet increse due to some problem and this will increse by 25 may but i have not yet received any confirmation message, means my credit limit is not yet increase.There is no solution from their side even their manager Mr. Tarun Jain said to me that you can port your number.
                                    please solve this problem and exceed my credit limit in 2 or 3 days.

                                    I was using Idea post paid connection from 02 months back in the Ahmedabad, Gujarat circle. My plan was 399.00 PM included 90000 free local/STD seconds, 100 SMS Local/ national and 1GB - 2G data free for every month.

                                    My last bill generated with the total amount of Rs 760.00 (with all a/c +/- settlement ) also my credit limit was 750 at the time when i purchase this number.

                                    Can anybody tell me if a company offers some plans like that in which your credit limit were exceed and the month ends they will settle the bill from your bill plan with the certain offers, we are only used the offered facility in this are limit also and will increase accordingly so why they are block or stop the phone services until we are not paying the charges according to exceeded limit.

                                    Boss exceeding credit limit also included with your plan that's why we op't your services, and according to your offer we will avail services, so their is no point to pay the increase credit limit.

                                    For example:

                                    Old credit limit : Rs 500.00
                                    My monthly avail service cost : Rs 1000.00, credit limit : Rs 1500.00
                                    After consider the particular offer rates cost are : Rs 600.00 & credit limit : Rs 1500.00
                                    Billed Amount : Rs 600.00

                                    Please resolve my problem ASAP because every 2-3 day they stop my services.

                                    I am using Idea post paid connection of 250 rental from 3 years plus, in pune and i was satisfied with the service. But now i wanted to increase my credit limit from 1000 to 8000. when contacted with customer care they said me that i need to deposit 7000 to get credit limit of 8000. which is not in the case of other service providers. can you please let me know why its in the case of IDEA????

                                    I recently purchased idea postpaid sim of Delhi and my credit limit is 1000 and bill generation date is 27th of every month.

                                    On 7th Oct 2014, all the services on my number got barred due to crossing of credit limit. When i called customer care, they said credit limit can only be increased by submitting amount equivalent to the credit limit i want to increse i.e if i need to increase credit limit to 2500, i need to pay Rs. 1500 as deposit.

                                    This is very bad. Other mobile operators don't have such conditions.

                                    Please help me out. Services are barred on my number and I can't do anything.

                                      This is to inform you that im having a with IDEA (MOBILE SERVICE).
                                      I purchsed idea number in 300rs last week and it still not get activated.And im calling them regularly for this issue but they are not taking it seriously..whenever i call them,they used to say next day or within 48hrs your number will start working..and today the customer care executive talked to me rudely and abused me also..
                                      please take an action against this issue.
                                      i need it urgently.

                                      Idea — Bad service....fooling me????

                                      when i started this idea ([protected]) no i have not done any reacharge but when i done recharge of Rs 50 last week suddenly 30 Rs were deducted.

                                      Making complains to idea costomer have to tell full history twice or thirce and they note down the complain saying will call.

                                      one call came from techinical dept & the person was very rude he was just telling it was my mistake and i have activated the music service so my money was deducetd.

                                      but actually i had never called or sent sms to activate it, if there is proof in ur caller id give it to me or give me my deducted amount.

                                      Every day so many calls come from idea...is it to make fool of people like this???

                                      does idea makes haress people like this ???

                                      Plz give me a solution for this...I am thinking to widhrow form this card.I am working in media and thinking to cover a good story about this and how people from idea blame us???
