In my Idea no. [protected], On 30th august 2012 at 7.03 pm i get it recharged by Rs 68 tariff pack, 1/2 sec for 3 months (i have a proof that msg) but after that also when i call on any local number it is been charged 70 paise/min or more but why..?? I want all the extra money charged for calling back as soon as possible and please take necessary steps and see that when i have tariff pack then why it has been happened. Solve it as early as possible or i will complain in TRAI.

MORE — Reimbursement of money charged extra wrongly

I made a transaction on 10th January, 09 at More supermarket, Mehdipattnam, Hyderabad.
I used my card to pay the bill, the vendor swipped the card and said its not working. so, i paid in cash.
But in fact I was charged in initially my card.I have complained them the next day, and my money has not been reimbursed till now.

Idea — CHARGING EXTRA MONEY FOR SERVICE

I applied for a Internet GPRS scheme of Rs35 per day. After that I get a message from idea for using a new plan of Rs350 for 15 days. Before applying for that I checked with the custermer care regarding the status of the Rs35/day plan. But they told me that plan is not activated amd I cam go ahead with the new plan. So I applied for the new plan. But from next day onwards they started dedecting my money as per Rs 35 plan. When I called helpdesk they told me to semd tje deactivatiom message and I send it. But still they are charging that amount.

I have not activated any pack in my Idea services, but suddenly i got sms on 9th Feb on my phone that 'Your Mega Pack has been activated. Amount charged is Rs 49.0 /- for 1Month. Renewal charge is Rs [protected]@1Month as applicable. To deactivate sms UNSUB mgpkm to 54300.

I need refund of that amount.

    my idea net setter no.is [protected] subscribed under the 3G scheme,(Ketan A. Shah) I am not receiving the balance details of data charges at the end of the each session which they have promised hassle free services. I have several time called their helpline & also several emails, yet there is standard reply that the problem will be solved very shortly, yet till date already 20 days have lapsed but there is no further response..it is extremely vital for judging the download of software etc. kindly do the needful at the earliest, regards. contact mobile no.[protected]

    paise / kb ke hisab se kati parantu jab dusre mahine me recharge karaya to inka use rate kayi guna jayada tha custmer care me baat karne par bataya gaya ki aapka servise abhi activate nahi hua hai jabki jo bhi ballece kata wo usi recharge me se kata is prakar hamari 385 Rs ka nuksan ab tak ho chuka hai mai is net setter ko bapas karna chahta hun sir kripya hamari madad kare
    i am not receiving the hard copy of my monthly bill regarding the idea net setter since the last four month's
    I have purchage an Idea Net setter But my Ballance was not in order tell me that what the proble of this ballance. I rechared Rs. 250 at the dated 10/12/2009 but after some time it has change in 0.00. I want call Idea care but my call has not compleated I had tried more time but not get well responce. speed is allready slow.

      then i call second time customer care and after call they told me sir this problem is not repair via call you just visit our idea shop they can help you. tomorrow i visit idea shop and told her to problem he told me sir this is very hard problem so you wait for a minimum 19hrs to solve this problem. But this problem is not solved in 19hrs I AM VERY SORRY IDEA I DO NOT BUY ANY OTHER CARD FOR YOUR COMPANY AT-LEAST INFORM ME WHERE I GET RIGHT SOLUTION AND MY SERVICE IS READY TO USE. PLEASE SOLVE THIS PROBLEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE BECAUSE THIS IS NOT ONLY MY PROBLEM ANY OTHER PERSON IS FACING THIS PROBLEM.

        i had purchased a new idea postpaid connection having number-[protected] on 30/08/2012….i had paid rupees 250 as activation charge and also submitted my id proof along with photograph and was promised by the executive that my number would be activated within 48 hours…..5 days have passed on n still my number is not activated by idea…..i mean where to go….these people would go to any extent in providing new connectiions and after taking money these guys just dont care about the inconvenince caused by the consumer due to their negligent behaviour….
        here is the list of all idea executives along with their cell numbers involved-
        [protected]- the person who sent message on my mobile number showing me the numbers available with him
        [protected]-the person who called me and took my address (he probably sent his executive)
        [protected]- the executive(mr.PRABHAKAR) who came into my office n took rupees 250 along with id proof n photograph
        [protected]-this person daily makes excuses n says my number would be activated in 24 hours,his number was given to me by PRABHAKAR
        I request the concerned authorities at IDEA to look into this matter as all this is bringing bad name to their company….also the consumer is suffering

            i have been told by customer care that i will get idea-idea 10p/min and other 30p/min by a recharge of rs 11
            i did it ..my balance was deducted but no benefit provided.then they say that it is not for your region
            refund my money.help me .
            i am syed rehan from bangalore.i am using idea sim-[protected].yesterday by dialing *369# which shows info about idea packages it showed me a pack which said all india call rates will be charged at the rate of 1p/2sec.bt after conformation sms came stating call rates will b charged at 1.2p/2sec.i talked to customer care and they denied from deactivating and returning my money back.since wrong info was provided by IDEA so i request u to plz deactivate the pack and help me to get 41rs back.plzzz

              we are getting recharge coupons from one of the IDEA dealer in chingavanam(Kunnath IDEA Point).For the recharge convenience again we had approach Mr.Arun (Marketing manager,IDEA,phone [protected]) through our dealer for getting IDEA flexi sim card .but he refused to provide me the IDEA flexi service with some rubbish reasons.

              So please kindly provide me the smoother service of IDEA(Flexi sim card).which will improve my business.

                Hi,

                I am currently a subscriber of idea services and I had opted to port out of idea services and port in to "Airtel". I had send a port out request on 1900 and the unique porting number was generated "IP953871" dt: 20 August 2012. I had opted for port out earlier to this as well on 8th august but don't understand why the same as also not being processed.

                I had opted for port out services for not only my number "[protected]" but also for the following two numbers a) [protected] & b) [protected] on the same day. To my surprise the other two numbers have got ported to "Airtel" and i am still awaiting the same for my number.

                I fail to understand how is it possible that out of 3 numbers 2 have got ported out and my number is still pending. On calling Idea toll free customer care number they say from our end there is no problem and "Airtel" is saying its the problem created by "IDEA".

                I would appreciate if the above is sorted out within a day else i would be forced to approach "TRAI" for this miss handling and also to consumer forum court. Please note that as this is the second time its happening and i happen to have the proof of both the same i am sure "IDEA" would not like to get this issue in public and pay compensation and customer harassment charges.

                Look forward to your positive reply and speedy action.

                hi i have a number that is from BSNL, and i ported it to IDEA on 14 aug .
                my problem ia that now i wants to port with AIRTELm when i send a request from my idea number it replys that :- "oops it seems u have typed a wrong keyword." i also call to idea care but problem is same .!!

                  I am using G.Dhanasekaran IDEA, prepaid number for my family use. In a day i get 5-6 calls from IDEA, stating value added service. Once you attend the call and close it, you are considered subscriped for the value added service.They will send a SMS, to reply immediately for unsubscriping the service. If you fail to respond, your money will be deducted for your inaction.
                  I have called Idea customer care about the policy of subscribing policy for value added service, they refuse to answer my quoestion and disconnected my call.

                  Can a service provider consider subscription, just attending their unwated calls? Do i have to send SMS immediately for unsubscriping?

                  They just take money from many customers without their knowlwdge? It is not CHEATING, just LOOTING ? VERY BAD IDEA.

                  Where as with other service providers , customer has confirm by SMS for subcription.

                      I have an Idea cellular connection that I have been unsuccessfully trying to recharge online. I have made several attempts to do this over the last 2 weeks and every time I get the message saying (latest attempt on Sep 1st 2012):

                      Your payment is successful but your recharge has failed due to technical reasons. The amount paid by you for this transaction would be returned to the account from which you have made the payment in eight working days. We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused.In case you face any issues, please contact customer care. Your transaction id is 15637838 and reference number is MICI[protected].

                      I have also raised this issue with Idea directly - but all I got was a document telling me the procedure for online recharge (which is actually the same process that I have been following)

                      My complaint here is that I want Idea to look into this and fix their website mechanism accordingly - as this is causing a lot of inconvenience. Attaching screenshot of latest error message I got for your reference.

                        i am customar of idea cellular last two month, maintaining sufficient balance, suddenly one day a massage came that "thank you we have received your request for service IMS , i even not know any thing about what this IMS actually is, but they deduct Rs36/- instantly, after two day again a massage come "your talkies has been activated . amount charge Rs 30/-" now i talk to their customar care , somebody tell ' as you send request so we have activated such seva' as i said early i don't know at all about those facility so there is no question of request, again said please they show my request to active those services, otherwise they should stop such activity , kindly take step

                            Hi this is Satyendra,
                            My problem is regarding the cellphone I purchased from Vedanshi communications, 57, Corner shop. 10 No. Market, Arera Colony Bhopal. The phone I purchased manufactured by ZTE corporation imported by Idea Telesystems LTD, Model - Idea 3G smartphone Blade, by date 18th june 2012. From the date of purchase the phone I continuously facing the problem in phone's keypad which is not working and there is a spot in TFT screen. Also facing problem in phone's loudspeaker and gravity sensor which is also not working from that day. I educated to the vendor from where I purchased the cellphone and got an assurance reply that problem is just a minor and would be resolved by our service center within a day or will replace your phone. Now one months has been gone through I suffering the issue that is not resolved yet. They gave me free 3g data for every 3 months of 2GB which I'm also not able to use the benefits of the same. Now they are saying to wait one more month. Ideally the company should provide me another phone for the same one as per the policy because I got defected item by company side and it's not my mistake. But even I tolerate and waited till the time they assured me. Now I do not want any resolution cause If I got a defected piece of mobile unit then I should get the benefit of replacement either from the company end or from the vendor end. Cause I invested my money for the fresh piece of mobile unit not for the defected piece and I value my money as well as time too. The cellphone details are, IMEI: [protected] and EAN:[protected]. I'm requesting to the authority to please kindly check and do the need full regarding my issue because I feel irate of the services from the Idea cellular.

                                  This is the third time, I am complaining here because my problem has not been sorted out. I bought 3 no of idea with the assurance of CUG that if we call on these three number, no charges will be given. Then since, I have been paying. They are not willing to activate my CUG. These nos are [protected], [protected] and [protected]. When I called customer care to check whether CUG is activated on this no they said no. I asked them what should I do then? They asked me to go to idea Showroom. I went there 12 times for the past 6 months to add my no in CUG network. Idea showroom person said we cant do anything. Consult the person who sold you number. I am incapable to find him. Even I complained here thrice and Last time they wrote coment that services have been installed. But i got the bill on these nos. Again, I called customer care, they said cug has not been activated with these nos. I am really helpless. This is the third time, I am complaining here. They have not even called me once and they are saying I am not reachable. For the six month I have been paying amount on the sevices which I was assured to be free of cost.I simply want my give no to be cug network: [protected], [protected] and [protected].

                                  When I got these corporate no they said calling on these nos will be free. Only then I took. Now they are not activating and charging bill. When I complained in 26 july here, idea wrote on comment that It has been activated. But its not indeed. When I again called idea customer care they said go to corporate office. I do not know how long i will pay bill for the services which I assured to be activated and free of cost.

                                  Please, If you can do something, take a stern action on these...Because they write comment here to be done but actually it is not done. I am fed up. This is the last time I am complaining here with hope to get the problem solved....

                                  One more thing, I am going to stop paying bill of these nos [protected], [protected], and [protected], if these numbers are not activated in CUG Network. Because I chose idea network only because of CUG Network. And it has been acheel heel. Therefore I decided not to pay bill either they install my cug network or terminate these numbers.

                                  Why you people are torturing me, I again went yessterday to MY IDEA. They refused to do anything. They said go to corporate Office at Cannaught Place. I visited at least 10 times to iDEA sHOWROOM, PLUS CALLED 1000 TIMES TO CUSTOMER cARE to get it rectified but nothing helped me. I have come this forum with lot of hope to get it rectified. And even this forum too is useless. This is India, no one can expect anything. Here, problems can be aggravated but can not be simplified. I am fed up with this Idea. Now, I have decided to change idea Service They are all useless. And, from this month, I am not going to pay any bills.

                                  i was take two corporate no [protected], [protected] my cug is not activated i was call to the customer care and asked to him they said no. these plan cug calling is free thus i was do the complaint in gallery but they can take a lost of more time is that cheating with customers so you can process please do something I do not know how long i will pay bill for the services which I assured to be activated and free of cost.

                                  I have taken 3 numbers 6 months ago that is [protected], [protected], [protected] with the assurance of CUG. But these three numbers are not in cug. I have complaints many times. They said go to idea Showroom. Idea Showroom says go to corporate office,. Corporate office says go to sales person. For the past six months, I am going here and there but nothing got sorted out. They are charging very heavily and not willing to add my number in cug network that was the only reason I chose idea service. Please help...

                                    My name is Vinod kumar Mahajan punjab jalandhar, bhogpur my mobile number is [protected] idea i have not asked service provider activate dailer tone service they have activate without my permision they have cut my balance always please deactivate my service.

                                    Idea — Automatic Activation of Service

                                    My idea voice chat has been activated automatically on my number [protected] on 31st may and Rs. 30 has been deducted without my permission. The exact same thing had also happened to me previously once more. And the customer representative do not even talk properly.
                                    Also, inspite of several tries, they do not even register my number to the DND scheme.
                                    Kindly look into the matter and refund the deducted amount.

                                    Idea mobile services — Activation of VAS without proper Information

                                    I have deactivated my dialer tone service 13/02/2012. But it is not processed and it is again activated by deducting money automatically from my account without any proper information. Is this is proper service provided by IDEA Kolkata.

                                      I bring to your kind notice that wherever idea cellular coverge fails their shared network Vodofone coverage gives benefit but the name
                                      vodafone will not be displaced. They only display Idea name. Therefore, customers like me will be alert on call rates.
                                      This raise to direct suffereings to the customer and gives benefit indirectly to the network.

                                      (on 27.8.2012, at 8.31 P.M I suffered as a fourth time.)

                                      My sincere obligation is , ensure to display at all times if I were in the shared network coverage, say vodafone.
