My no [protected] activated into idea from airtelthrough MNP on 10/08/2012. Till date I have never received
Vodafone no. call flashing this no. does not exist to every caller through out India. I have lodged
4 complaints to idea costmer care. they removed the complaint by saying this fault is not at our end
everytime try Vodafone.They are playing me like afootball.

      Recently i got a new IDEA Prepaid SIM card, and since then, it was all trouble. When when filling my Application form for Prepaid sim, i opted for

      DND.

      On the very first day o[censored]sing the new SIM, i got 5 calls and plently of SMS asking me to subscribe or bla bla bla.... And all those messages are

      coming as a flash message. Just a click on a key by mistake activates it. It happens the very first day (9th of August 2012).

      Complaint ref no: SR 1-[protected]

      And on the same day i send "START 0" to 1909 to activate DND... but the problem did not stoped, i then mailed to their customer care, and got a

      message like this.
      "DND (Do Not Disturb) service for your mobile number has been registered on 9th August 2012 and the same will be effective from 17th August

      2012."

      I waited for 17th.. and i got the same messages on 18th also, and i again send a mail to their customer care, and explained them in detail about all my

      problems... SO, this time they send a mail like this,

      "We will keep you informed about the resolution on or before 29-August 2012 EOD (End of the day). Until such time we request your kind

      cooperation."

      And today (23rd Aug 2012), I got a call from IDEA and one guy told that the problem is just as i might have kept CELL INFO DISPLAY TO ON.


      But to be frank, i always wish to keep my mobile home screen Free and simple, and i always used to keep CELL INFO DIsplay to OFF.. i told them,

      that the cell info display is not on, it is off..

      Then the person told that the problem might be with the hand set, and not with IDEA... and then i got a SMS from IA-IDEACL "Dear Customer, your

      concern for DND could not be resolved, kindly contact customer care. SR 1-[protected]. Thank you."

      What i guess is, people in IDEA does not know how to stop sending me SMS. it does not mean the handset is defective. ok? This is not my first

      mobile no, and i have been using mobile for the past 12 years. And only from the time i chooses IDEA all these problem happens.

      I am sure the problem is not with my handset, as it happes on other handsets with the same SIM.

      And when i use a different SIM on my mobile, the thing does not happen.

      I am really really frustrated with your customer care... i have wasted my time talking and waiting to your customer care people. Personal mobie with

      IDEA is not personal, i am getting all unwanted SMS and calls... and most importantly,

      If any one know how can i Escalate this issue to the Top Management of IDEA, please let me know.

      what ever itis, right now, i am moving to a different network, but really, having IDEA is a bad IDEA. You people really make the brand Idea and

      Adityabirla a shame.

        I have been using Idea sim for the past 2, 3 years. Last week i got a message from 54300. " YOUR MISSED CALL ALERTS has been activated. Amount charged is Rs 2.0/- for 2 days. Renewal charge is Rs [protected]@1 Month as applicable. To deactivate sms UNSUB omcim to 54300" i had no idea where that message came from. And i have never activated such alerts. And i unsubscribed from that. But 2 days back i get the same message for the second time. i was so angry as i was not even aware of that. And right now just 2 hours back i received another 2 more message from 54300 and 58595. saying that "Thank you. We have received your request for CBC_Jokes_Pack and it's being processed. and the other one saying ERROR SUBSCRIPTION ALREADY EXISTS SSM P". Yesterday evening i had Rs. 14 in my main, And today it's all gone. No idea where it is.
        What the hell is this.? Is this how you treat your valuable customers. I'm not demanding back my money i just want Idea to stop these kind of stupid messages and all that.

          dear sir

          I have mistakenly forgot the bill date for filling up my idea bill in the month of 20 June'2012. the people from call centre .Ms sonia & Mr. rajiv called me many times for payment ,i agreed to pay the amount ,but after two days they have called again and said " ap ke khilaff case darz ho gaya hai garibo, bill nahi bhara na isliye ab bhukto " tume hari hoqat nahi hai to phone no. kyo lete ho.
          these are the words stated by them , could u tell if i was little from village i should have replied by abusing them but i did"t , as i know my abdicates , but now again & again they are calling me same words what will i do , payment is not the issue , but my dignity matters , self respect should i also abuse them same way or not .

          can you lodge a case against them for this matter as i am fully mentally harrased by them .

            This is Gaurav Srivastava , I had purchased Nokia Lumia 610 on 22nd August 2012 , In that Phone I got the 2gb Data free at 3G Speed for 4 month, Because of that scheme , I had purchased Idea Conection "[protected]" on 23 August 2012 at Rs. 80
            When , I spoke to Customer Care " Vidya", She told me that you will not get free 2gb Data Tariff " Bacause you have recharged with Rs 78 , Even she dont have proper reason to give the answer , I request her couple of time kindlt check it , She put my fone on hold for more then 15 minute ,and she havent response

            Let you know , I had Purchased this Idea because of free 2GB data for 4 month only , Even in my phone box its mention there you will get free data , Now what the issue

            Its my only request kindly allow me for 3 G Data Package for 4 Month ,and should take action Customer Care

              Security deposit of Rs500 and one month advance payment of Rs210 is not returned by Idea cellular even after 7 months of deactivation of my idea postpaid connection [protected].
              After deactivation of my post paid connection on 13-Jan-2012. i have talked to idea customer care, who has informed me that i will receive the refund cheque with in 6 months. but till date it has not been send to me.
              I have also E-mailed many times to idea customer care, but till date refund amount is not been send to me.

                I was a Vodafone customer for last many years(number: [protected]), four months ago I met an idea marketing executive in a mobile shop when i went for recharge my mobile, By his compulsion My number ported to Idea (Kerala's Worst mobile service).

                I submitted my id proof at Valanchery idea point(MADHUKKAL COMMUNICATION).
                I am not satisfied in Idea services , network issues , no clarity , network busy a lot problems i met on idea but i used it last four months.

                I received a message from idea on 18/08/2012 Saturday 2.52PM "submit fresh documents and get new sim to retain your number as it is invalid as Govt Guideline , pls contact nearest idea show room with in 48 hours."

                I went to idea Valanchery Showroom (MADHUKKAL COMMUNICATION)Sunday and Monday in between my busy hours of business and eid celebration. but both days the idea showroom was closed ,I called to customer care many time but connected once , i asked the executive about this message but He have no idea about this message and he was repeating same answer "contact idea showroom" , Next I contacted mobile shop and he called their customer support but answer is same "contact idea showroom" they have no idea about this , why this message is came, what is the reason for it , what is the solution for it..

                I went again idea showroom on Tuesday[protected]am (MADHUKKAL COMMUNICATION).
                That guy told it happen by wrong address verification , i already gave there my id proof photo and everything. Till the date nobody called me for address verification.
                I gave again my details there and he is entered in idea online portal , I got the registration message from idea SR Number 1-[protected].

                but now all my incoming and outgoing is barred. when i call to my number getting a message "This number doesn't exist"

                Last many years i was using this same number on Vodafone with the same address.
                if my address is wrong how can i use on vodafone ? how can i use four months in idea?

                  on[protected] and 22/08/2012i received a message from idea cellular regarding BIGRADIO services of rs 60/- and BOLLY GOSSIP rs 5/- deduction on my no [protected] without my permission. i have tried all means of communicating customer care but the response is not satisfactory. I am not availing this service. Deactivate service and refund money. so please if possible then do the need full action.

                    In May month we got Extra bill due to GPRS bcoz that time I didnt activate BB services on my Black Berry Phone nevertheless they charged GPRS amount which not enabled on my BB phone that time I have reviver my balance through Jay bhagwati Markiting(I have Paid 774 Rs amount that time) & same time I also told the Jay Bhagwati Markiting my no has been barred & I dont want to continue this no([protected]) Pls disconnect my connection dealer (Jay Bhagwati Markiting ) told me Sir your connection already barred .But after two day back one guy came to my home giving me the last 2-3 month Rental amount bill

                    Dear ,Simply my concern is this when my connection has been barred & I have also given the full final payment than why I should give this 2-3 month rental this not my fault its simply dealer(Jay Bhagwati Markiting) problem bcoz that time dealer told me Sir you just give the full & final payment and go & after 2 month one guy came show me the asking me pay the bill..

                      With this complaint i would like to express my worst experience with Idea Cellular. Where Idea people cheated like any thing . has given me Net setter as a free gift as i was being a premium customer since 6 years .

                      My Plan - 200Rs - 500MB
                      Actual Usage - 490MB
                      Idea Wrong Calculated Usage- 1974MB
                      Idea Wrong Bill Sent- 10,000 Rs.

                      This below (proof )mail i was received from idea to my idea net setter account , which says i have not been crossed 500MB after this reminder i have not used the i Internet any more but after few days i have received mail from them says that u have used 1974 MB and so that you have to pay 10000 Rs for that . I have given so many mails by explaining the issue but nobody responded simply without any clarification they are saying you have to pay the bill as per machine calculation .. The worst worst service , no employ listen to the complaint also ....

                        As per the the company has displayed and advertised in adds i.e 3G 750 unlimited plan (till 3 GB after that 128kbps), i am facing the problem with net speed which use to get reduced after consumption of 3 GB the speed reduces to 0.5 to 4 kbps which is much more less as per committed , the complaints has been given several times, without taking our reference they stated that they have resolved the problem.Please see below are the details,

                        After discussing things with the technical team they disclose this that the 128 kbps is the connecting speed and running speed would be 20kbps, which was not at all displayed on website and disclosed at the time purchase of the netsetter.We can understand the procedure of trouble shooting the technical things but i am waiting for right response and resolution of the problem since three months, every time customer care says the problem will get resolved in 2 to 3 working days and i am waiting for the same.

                        I hereby request that the complaint raised by me should be taken the end resolution .

                        Idea Net Setter — false commitment

                        i have purchased idea net setter on 19 march 2010. they told me that you got a speed of 236kbps, even that was mention in there advertisement.but i never got the speed of 236.8 kbps. i make a complaint so the customer care told me that in idea net setter post paid connection you got the speed of 50 kbps only, Its seem that they just cheat there customer by giving wrong information at the time of your purchase.But after you purchase the whole information get changed......please do something for this.
                        I purchased Idea net setter before 3 months and receiving speed 1-2 kbps while committed speed on the purchase was 236 kbps.This happened with m5-6 friends.I never experienced such a commitment that Idea made.Please do not purchase their net setter.Sandeep Mishra, Jaipur.

                          My father has an idea mobile connection. He got a message that there is a full talktime offer of Rs.40. So, he asked me to recharge online on 17th August and the recharge was successfull. But he did not get the full talktime and his account balance was Rs.0. Till now he has not got the talktime.

                            He impersonated a friend and harassed me using vulgar indecent language.
                            Please do something about this number and spare me the
                            Mental torture.

                            When I googled this number it says his name is
                            Yash shah. I don't knw whether this is a real name.

                            Please block this number or do anything to help me
                            Stop this torture.

                              i had taken a mobile connection of IDEA on 26/07/12, the representative committed me that the blackberry service plan would be available to me at Rs. 99 instead of Rs. 299. however, i realised from IDEA call centre that no such offer is allocated to my account. i had complained IDEA about this on 29/07/12 itself - communication number - ID 22057722; IDEA told me that this would be resolved by 16/08/12 & i would receive a call from IDEA.

                              But till date (21/08/12) nothing has happened, IDEA customer service & call centre is pathetic, they do not transfer calls to senior personnels, always talk in hindi (pathetic hindi) and place calls on hold. they have taken more than a month to respond my query & above all have not resolved it till date.

                              Celebrities like abhishek bacchan are spoiling their brand equity by partnering such third grade service providers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                              i demand instant resolution on this. I must get the blackberry service plan of Rs. 299 at Rs. 99, as committed to me by IDEA !

                              IDEA CORPORATE PLAN — FALSE COMMITMENTS

                              NEVER EVER GO FOR IDEA CORPORATE PLANS.THEY DO FALSE COMMITMENTS & FAIL TO PROVIDE THE SAID SERVICES. ALSO USES IMPROPER LANGUAGE. NOBODY LISTEN, IF COMPLAINED.

                                THE INTERNET SERVICE FOR IDEA IN THE WHOLE OF PUNE IS REALLY SAD. THE DOWNLOAD SPEED IS AROUND 3-4KBPS... WHICH IS 10 TIMES LOWER THAN WHAT IT WOULD BE.

                                  Incorrect Call Charges and Deduction

                                  Hi,

                                  I am using Idea Cellular's postpaid mobile from last 3 months. My no is [protected].

                                  From past few days when I send SMS to any mobile, incorrect SMS charges are being applied. My plan is M&M_CUG99 under Mahindra Group where 200 local SMS are free. But i charged 1 Rs for every SMS.

                                  I have also raised complaint to local idea executive but no response I received. Thry have not ready to check the wrong charges.

                                  I am not getting any help from idea Executive regarding correct billing charges and refund for incorrect SMS charges.

                                  I request you to kindly look into this issue. so that i will be satisfied with this issue.

                                        The Home Ministry has asked Department of Telecommunications to implement the order through the telecom operators.

                                        From today onwards, no one will be able to send more than 5 SMSes in one go and more than 20 KB of data through mobile phones during the ban period.

                                        my complaint is :- when it says one go then why have the companies put a total limit to 5 SMS per day?
