They are purely cheating.

        My name is Jyoti Vishwakarma and my phone no. is [protected]. Since past few months the idea service providers have been activating undesired services on my no. on their own, although no such service is actually rendered. The service name is HASYA SARITA. I have first tried to deactivate the service on my own. Then after i complained about it at nearest idea service center, that is near chanchala bai college, jabalpur(m.p.), a no. of times but no relief was assured. In this process, every time i got my no. recharged, whole balance was deducted immediately as a compensation against the activated service. I stopped my no. getting recharged and then requested the customer care executive to sort out the problem as soon as possible. But instead of helping out, that person behaved very rudely and in an unjustified manner.After that I started receiving very offensive messages from the company no. 53434. I believe its the same customer care executive who is responsible for all this. Please help me out in sorting this matter and getting a valid compensation for the total loss incurred, that is of Rs.500.

        idea cellular service — Loss to customer by double activation

        Dear Idea Friend,

        Today morning I have activated your new scheme of Rs.47/- for making local calls for 40ps and 50ps for STDs with Rs.20 talk time.Before making the activation my balance was Rs.77.
        After that for getting a confirmation from you I have telephoned to your customer care center whether it is activated or not.(Also I have told the guy whom I talked that earlier I had a call to 53500 for this and pressed 5 no.for activating tha same). Without checking this your gentleman again activated the same which resultated another loss of Rs.47 to me. Now my balance shows Rs23 only. That means you have cut 2 times the money from the intial balance
        Please check this and do the needful to get the refund.

        idea cellular service — activation of idea box office service without prior notice

        I am idea mobile user. My no is [protected].2 months ago igot message that i am subscribed to idea boxoffice @rs30.I was shocked to see Rs30 deducted from my account without my acceptance.I complain this to idea office they assured me that it would be deactivated in 24 hours.But im disgusted to seee that Rs 30 deducted again this month.I am puzzeled where to complain and claim.

          I am a idea mobile prepaid customer vide mobile no. [protected] and enjoying Blackberry Services of Rs399/- per month. I have following complaint issues of poor service, breach of trust and misappropriation of my money by them:

          1) To my surprise the company has in spite of deducting Rs399/- from my account yesterday for 1 month service which was valid upto 14/10/2012 have got disconnected on 15/09/2012 at midnight 12.49 am.

          2) Further they are not having any actual functioning of customer complaint system as my attempts to contact 198 and other helpline numbers failed for 25 times.

          3) They have taken Rs399/- from my account and still they have discontinued my service then whether they have mis approrprioated my money as they are again demanding the same ?

          4) By discontinuing the servivce of customer they have breached the trust of customer which customer puts on them.

          5) They have provided me inferior, poor customer service by disrupting my mobile service in between.

          I pray to this honourable forum to give me justice by restoring my services, taking legal action against faulty service provider and compensation of Rs10000/- for loss of communication which I am facing right now.

I am previously informed to Idea Mobile customercare for any other extra services are not required me except phone incoming & out going service. My again complain No. is 1-[protected] dt.11.04.11 , against extra deducrion of Rs.50 ( for astrology services, Love Tips etc.) now I am not allowed for Extra deduction from my mobile balance. Please this deduction amount return to my mobile balance immediately . If they are not returned I will go to consumer forrum. I do not use sms at all, nor use ringtones. I would be appreciate if this amount is returned.

            I am customer of idea for past 7year. my no [protected].i have activated dailer tone for rental of 125 for 6months . On Sep 4 2012 my balanced deducted Rs.125+Rs.15=140. for the service.but the service were not in active mode so.I gave a complaint to 198.So they gave me C.no.SR.No1-[protected] on7/9/12 TIME 9.18AM .So it will solved the problem by 10/9/12 At 10.15am.But problem continue. Again it call 198 given C.NO.[protected] 12/9/12 Time8.45 AM.i had argue him to refund the balance if the service is not activated.So the Person Mr Bhasker Asure me it will refund and he register a request for deactivation of dailer tone. But on 13/9/12 I got reply that C.No.[protected] has been solve but they did not refund my balance. I Argue idea to refund balance and pay my compension for my suffuring.

            Idea Cellular — Refund of Balance

            Defaulty activating the services & deducting the balance So, I want refund of my 3 months balance.
            As i have taken my Idea simcard from last 2-3 months back, and this company is continulosly disconnecting my card after every 15 days and after calling customer care service the answere we are getting is that, please give your document to our nearby gallery, for your information we have given the document twice to the dealer from where we have purchased the card, and now after using few month the same thing again has being repeated, i am a bussiness man i am mostly out of the town in some cases i am not able to pick up the calls because of company meeting or something the next day the card is being disconnected, why the company is not verifying before starting the connection of the customer, why after the customer start using it, why we are having this issues every morning, This you can see how this big company harass the small people. Please take the necessary action against this issue your immediate action will be highly appreciable

                "Your subscription request for is already in Queue and it is being processed."

                Every night at 11 pm without fail for the past 5 nights I am getting this SMS from 54300 which is waking me up from my sleep.

                I had complained to Idea customer care 198 but they deny sending any SMS and they say that there is no such subscription request pending.

                I am at my wits end what to do. I don't want to put my phone on silent mode.

                      At 18.45 hr,
                      After mobile switch on I received SMS from Idea,

                      IZ-ideaCMS :SMS details : Dear customer thank you for downloading joker special value pack2 from shot Formats. you have been charged Rs. 20.
                      SMS receiving time 16.10 hr but its actual 18.45 hr.
                      I never downloading any formate and my money deducted from my account,I talked to customer care but they reply me you downloading the formate its shows in their system.

                      I want to know that when my mobile is switch off how its possible to download the formats?
                      Are your system is curropeted?
                      Are your customer is nothing for Idea?
                      What I do for the same plz suggest me for the same?
                      Can i complaint to TRAI or consumer court or CNBC Awaaz?

                      Such type of mistake 2 time already happened by Idea in past and I complaint customer care, both time my complaints were resolved through customer care.

                      Idia — cutting money

                      I am Tanmoy chatterjee working in Goa i had taken idia prepaid almost 8 years back from past 5 years they are cuting money with out being any reason as soon as you recharge within five minutes they deduct the entire money i was kept quait becouse after complaint also idia office not taken any care of it finally i came to know about you(consumar complaints) my mbl no is [protected].

I had given a complaints before 8th month ago in INDIAN CONSUMAR COMPLAINTS FORUM.They had (IDEA CELLUAR) stop cuting my money 7th month.Last november 2011, and decembar 2011, when I have RECHARGE in my mobile [protected] (kolkata) state west bengal, than and their they have been cutting my recharge money.                             This is regarding 3G High Speed (Advertised 7.2 Mbps) . I took this useless 3G Connection nearly 4 months ago. UP TILL THIS DAY I NEVER GOT THE PROMISED 7.2 Mbps speed and surprsingly the speed never went above 2.6 Mbps. I wonder how they call this 3G speed connection. It is so hard to digest because the Kerala people are so well informed in Computers and Software frauds.Its high time we react to fraud companies that advertise wrong info and sell products showing wrong product features.

                            Besides the low speed issue the Idea connectivty and server failures happen almost every three days.
                            Complaints given are left unadressed.

                            I also would like to file a case with Consumer Court in Kerala. Trivandrum, personally other than availing your site help.

                            Kindly address my issue

                              THIS COMPLAINT IS AGAINST IDEA CELLULAR SERVICES. ACTUALLY WHAT HAPPENED IS I HAVE OPTED TO USE THE INTERNET SERVICES PROVIDED BY THEM. AND IT ENDED AFTER SOME TIME. BUT I DIDN'T RECEIVE ANY MESSAGE AFTER THE EXHAUSTION OF MY DATA USAGE AND THEY COMPLETELY DEDUCTED THE ACCOUNT BALANCE THAT I HAD WITHIN FEW SECONDS WHICH WAS NOT EVEN USED FOR OPENING PAGES ON THE INTERNET. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I HAVE FACED THIS PROBLEM. I HAVE LOST AROUND RS.600 FOR SUCH LOOT BY THE CELLULAR COMPANIES. I'M FRUSTRATED BY SUCH NUISANCE. PLEASE PUT BREAKS ON SUCH ILLEGAL PRACTICES BY CELLULAR COMPANIES.

                              Idea — Unncessary services provided.

                              this is to inform you that the previous day...two unnecessary services...dialer tone and a joke service has been installed and a balance of approx 60rs. has been deducted from my prepaid balance.
                              please discontinue the service as soon as possible and restore the balance since i dont need these services as it has been by mistake insatlled and i have received messages regarded services successful on my cell no.i.e [protected].please restore my balance soon...and discontinue the service.
                              idea is a reputated brand and i hope it satisfies me in future by its service.
                              on my cellno [protected] a caller tone is activated ...of tone idea...& my balance is reduced by 15rup & now i received a message about to activate my pay for me account that is not activated by me &my balance is reduced by 15 rup plz...remove that both service & restore my balance cut by idea mistaken
                              i hv very disturbance from yr sms so plz deactivate service of this service plz immediately.
                              i m a student n yr sms come at night 2pm.

                                    I was using idea number -[protected] from last 4 yrs. This year in Feb'12, i asked Idea customer care to start 3G services on my phone.As per them they activated the same in Feb end and i got the message from that it will be started next day.
                                    But this has not happened for next 2 months and i lodged atleast 15-20 no's of complaints on Idea customer care during that time.Evert time they were assuring...

                                    IDEA announced 4 month free 2gb data plan internet service with some earlier sold Nokia Lumia 610 handsets (Click here to see their advertisement http://goo.gl/xWupp). I bought a handset on 20 July, 2012 but still money gets deducted everytime I use internet service on the handset. I have made numerous calls to IDEA customer care but they seem not interested my problem.

                                    I'm ***** Jawale from ***** and I have IDEA prepaid card since
                                    4-5 years. More than a month ago I bought Nokia Lumia 610 mobile with
                                    which IDEA is providing 4 months free 3G service (advt. attached
                                    herewith). Since then I have made 6 calls to IDEA customer care
                                    regarding activation of this service but each time I get the same
                                    reply "We are working on it".

                                    Please note -

                                    3. I have made many calls from this SIM before 30 September 2012. This
                                    date seems to be the date until which this offer is provided.

                                    Idea should provide this service without asking me to contact NOKIA,
                                    as it is your responsibility that the service should get activated.

                                    I request you to do the following
                                    1. Check which SIM card is associated free 3G service with the
                                    aforementioned IMEI number. If the number is different from my IDEA
                                    number, I will have to additionally contact Nokia customer care.

                                    2. If there is no SIM card associated with my IMEI number please
                                    active the free service on my handset ASAP, and inform me via
                                    email/phone about WHEN it will be activated.

                                    3. Let me know if you cannot activate this service, I will contact
                                    other service providers who are providing the offer.

Then I ask Nokia customer care person to send a reminder mail to IDEA. A few days after that I get following email from IDEA.

                                    i have been trying to activate mobile internet rs 51 plan from last many days

                                    to do e recharge of 51 for activation bt iit faild and i ended up
                                    getting an balance of 10 rs
                                    its very must frustrating and if i complain abt ths thn sm tell me
                                    tht te net cannt b activated by e recharge .!!!

                                      I do agree to your comments Amit. I have been requesting the Idea Cellular people for the past one year to improve the abysmally poor connectivity in sector 3, fatehabad (Haryana), where I shifted in July last year. But they did nothing. Whenever, I see Abhishek Bacchan tell people "Get Idea", I wonder I got idea when it was Escotel in Haryana, but perhaps have been suffering only due to that. To add insult to the injury, the attitude of Idea functionaries is unbecoming of people working in a private service provide.I have already ported two numbers of my family and have finally sent a request to port my own [protected], which I really did not want to, because of the old loyalty with Idea.
