I'm Jagadish today around 4:55PM I have recharged my Idea Number ie:[protected] with 200Rs through Netbanking by ingvysya, I have received 2 confirmation sms something like
First one " Dear Customer, Thank you for making a payment of Rs 200 on the Idea Cellular website. It is being updated in your account. From: IZ-IdeaWeb "
Second Sms " MRP:Rs200.00, Serv_tax:Rs22.001, Proc_fee:Rs178.000 Rechg Cat: STv From:[protected]"
After Recharge I still remember i just made 4-5 Calls worth of less than 5Rs and when i tried to call around 8:30Pm It says i don't have enough balance to make calls "WTF I was shocked" and made call to 198 and hardly connected to one of customer care his name was Shiva and according to our conversation he said My amount Transferred to some 3G plan for Browsing...I said What.... I recharged through online net-banking where it only shows denominator to recharge and it never mentioned what plan will come with this rechargeable denominator" Then Shiva told me This amount can't be recovered and i need to utilize it with in one month for browsing of some 600mb data .. I made this recharge to talk with my family members. Then customer care told he will forward this issue and may be rectified with in 24 hrs, so i requested complain number for acknowledgement and he replied their is no such faculty to raise complaint on particular issue ...Ohh god I'm Frustrated totally Screwed-Up I demanded for some acknowledgement number and he gave me this number 1-[protected] ...
Why this online recharge Screwed me Totally.. Do i want to Ask customer care or retailer for the offers on particular amount and then recharge everytime ...As these [censored]ng services implementing different plans on different amounts. I want my Talk time back
If anyone got same problem pls comment

Hmm here is the climax of above issue...
after 23rd july conversation, I tried to call customer care back on 24th evening exactly after 24hr of my last conversation and with out any doubt my calls not connected to customer care and i attempted approxmatly 5-6 times in 1hr and still i didn't
able to connect to customer care so i decided to try again later. This time i made call to customer care on 25th July morning around 10 Am and luckly one of customer support pick my call and asked if he can help me then i told whole story back to new
guy and he said he will check for the status of that past converstion and said you can raise a complaint on this issue so we try to solve it, I raised complaint again and I received message like " Dear Customer, Your concern for Recharge benefits is registered and would be
actioned by 07/26/12 5:02:00 PM. SR No.1-[protected]. To Know the status of this SR kindly sms ST 1-[protected] to 12345. Thank you."
On 26th July 2012 around 10:46 Am i received one more message like " Dear Subscriber, your request is in process and expected completion Date and time is 26/07/2012 17:02:00 "
And you know guys i received one more message on 26th July 2012 around 01:14 PM like "Dear Customer, Your Concern for Recharge benefits is registered and would be actioned by 07/27/12 7:15:00 PM. SR No. 1-[protected]. To know the status of this SR Kindly sms ST 1-[protected] to 12345. Thank you "
On 26th July 2012 around 07:34Pm I received Final 2 Messages that " Dear Customer, Your Concern for Recharge benefits not received has been resolved succefully with adjustments posted. SR No.1-[protected] "
"your Complaint no1-[protected] has been resolved. You interacted with VENKATESH_G01. If satisfied, please type Y Else N "
Then I replied to same number with "Y" sent to "[protected]"

Thank you Idea Customer Support who all helped me to recover my Recharge benefits back with talk time from 3G Plan.

    Sir,

    I have taken a number i.e. [protected] with CUG facility but it is not activated in my number. I have put several efforts to add my numbers that is [protected] and [protected] to it but it did not turn out to be fruitful. All these number I have taken all these number with corporate CUG Plan. I have even contacted several times to customer care and IDEA showroom at (KAlkaji, M block) but nothing seemed to be borne fruit. The showroom person said We can not do it. Catch the person whom you take the number. My problem is that the person who sold this number to me is not available. His phone number is not working. Since I took number with the assurance of CUG activated, but am still paying the bill of every call. They neither activate it nor terminate it. Its very disgusting. What should I do, I do not know? Since April, they have been charging and not willing to add my number. The tragedy is the number which they have added to it is not known to me. its simply a fraud, nothing else. Please help to get it sorted out?

    I am sorry to say that CUG has not been activated to my number. I am fed up with this. I called customer care, they said we cant do anything and go to idea showroom. When I went idea showroom they again said we are not able to do. I dont understand what to do?
    It has not been activated. Don, t make me fool?/ I checked and this month again I got bill on these numbers...

    i have the company mob no [protected], one month before the massage has came on the mobile that you have subscribed the Game mania, through this i have to pay 20/- rs every week, where as i have not sent any mail or sms to start the service, i have disacussed with customer care centre, They are telling that i have complaint through the our company authorised person,
    Where as you have start the service weithout his consent.Requested to stop the service of game mania.

      Today, I got the massage which was stating that Dear Customer,thank you for downloading AmazingSpiderman from INDIAGAMES.You have been charged Rs. 50, which i not even know. Such kind of game or any kind of service is not activated at any time or any how by me. I expect a very strict action against such online malpractices. I request cyber crime department of India must take serious consern in this regard.

      I've been charged rs 5 and 1 for downloading packs from one97 and i dont think i've downloaded anything
      It is charging me 5 rs everyday, plz sort this out or it might influence me to switch to another carrier

        As an aggrieved consumer it is very difficult to implement our suggestions single handed until taken up by a group.

        The suggestions may not be acceptable to the service providing telecom operator, but if the same can be implemented without cost in the interest of the mass consumers then the procedures and policies can be amicably mutually agreed and implemented in the interest of mass consumers

        All complaints to telecom operators be reflected in the bills. Everything and Everyone harp of money without Satisfactory Service
        .
        E-Complaints are answered with only an auto e-reply without any complaint number by mobile operators Idea / Vodafone etc.
        Are they not supposed to generate a complaint number for reference?
        At least even a part of the complaint is not being included in the e-acknowledgment.

        Require Consumer Organizations / NGO / Telecom Regulatory Authority of India / Consumer groups to check this.
        Steady & Strong Network signal for uninterrupted communication is the need of day in the wake of regular traffic jams / long distances to cover.

            Dear sir/ma'am,

            Rs. 40 was charged from IDEA Postpaid 4 (40X4= 160) times in one month . The message I got from IZ-ideaCMS is as follows:

            "" Dear customer, thank you for downloading Content Package from nazara. You have been charged Rs. 40 "".

            When I talked to customer care He first told me that there are no package is showing like this , and it will b refunded. i have received that massage four times in one month every time when i received that massage i call the customer care but they are always give me the same answer that is our system its not showing anything it might charged by mistake . but when i recieved my bill it charged Rs . 160 and when i make a complaint to the customer care they say that you have download the Content Package from nazara . and the money can not be refunded whan i asked then for the details they said we dont have any information , u go to our outlet . kindly look into that matter .


            Sir/Ma'am, please look into the matter for refund. I'll be truly grateful to you.

            Idea Cellular — Against Fraud billing

            Sir, My complain was against wrong bill in continuous two month even inform them to deactivate all services which are never demanded by me.We done several reminder to waive-of[censored]nused amount by several e-mail & over by Phone, but till dated they not interested to resolve the problem.Detail of summery is as below, we have some reply from them if you required we can mail it.
            We are waiting your reply for waive-off amount Rs 5500/= out of bill Rs 6769/= for the month of Aug-2011 (Bill Period 16th July to 15 Aug-2011) & waive-off amount Rs 3000/= out of bill Rs 4162/= for the month of July-2011 (Bill Period 16th Aug to 15th Sep.-2011) against prepared wrong billing as your Plane for my no [protected] the Max. limit o[censored]sage Rs 1000/=per month than is how to cross your given limit. As we may right no one service provider allow to cross his limit. Also I had never demand for GPRS in my No. then how to activated GPRS in my Phone. Many request by mail & by Phone but no satisfactory reply from your end till date, Pl resolve complaint immediately.

              You have been charged Rs. 75

              while i have not open any site neither download any thing.

              when i wanted to talk to customer care they are not picking my calls

              Idea Cellular — Atrocities of Idea Cellular

              Hi Friends,
              This is to bring in notice to all users of Idea Cellular and the competent authorities about the recent atrocities of idea cellular in name of re-verification of mobile numbers allotted to customers.
              Sometime back i purchased idea pre-paid sim and complied with documentation process and was using the services un-interrupted.
              But one fine morning without any notice idea blocked my services in name of re-verification that too after providing services for two months. I am unable to understand these re-verification process as how come a company can provide service to a customer and stop it at their whims and fancies.
              After contacting to customer care who are least bothered about the customer's pain, they suggested me to resubmit all the documents which have already been provided during the purchase of sim card. Now am compelled to throw the sim card as I’ll not do the useless and unproductive work of re-submitting the documents because of idea's inefficient people or policies and better will go with other service providers.

              If some senior idea guys are listening than they must take a corrective action on this asap or they will lose their customer bases gradually.

              Friends i do suggest to all of you to not go with a useless and in-efficient and useless company like idea cellular.

                i have idea postpaid number [protected] and i request it to convert my postpaid Sim to prepaid on 19/07/2012 , so they close my number today on 20/07/2012 and does not give me a prepaid Sim . they said the prepaid Sim is given to you on Monday 23/07/2012 .
                so i face many problem because my number was closed ...and i have to make some important calls... they do not give me a new Sim of prepaid number
                about 3 days my number was close ..so who is responsible for my lose..

                  Idea — fraud deduction of my balance

                  My mobile number is [protected] . i was not press button / request any type of service to the company but they had deduct thirty rupees from my balance for VOICE CHAT service since 24/11/2010.

                  i was not first time , Two years ago , idea company was deducted 30 rupees for FM RADIO service to my another number ([protected]).

                  I think this is totally fraud and and this is fraud company.
                  helo, i am naveen my number is [protected], idea punjab, but suddenly my balance was deducted by the company for using net, but there was still 350 mb data left in my account valid upto[protected]. but the poor response from cc they said there is no data balance, than i went to zonal office bathinda, i showed the data and validity to their representative, but they refused to take my complaint the company is cheating there customer. so there noto should be only ullu banowing. plz help me out my alternate number is [protected].

                    i have configured my samsung teos handset with internet settings.. i have recharged a net pack of rs 54 also.. bt still i coudnt surf the net.. it only shows the 'E' symbol.. bt the net is not being connected.. i switched off.. on the phone.. kept the sim out fr 10 minutes as customer care representative said.. did all the possuble measures.. bt i couldnt access to internet.. wen i call customer care dey say it will be reolved today.. tommorow n like that.. it has been 2 weeks since m complaining daily.. so what can i do now.. its a serious issue.. please look into the matter..

It is a normal & frequent practice of Idea cellular that they activate various services on my number like SMS friends, Food tip, matrimonial etc. and they deduct the charges for it. Please do some necessary so as they can not able to act like that in future.

                          I have been using idea 3g since 6 months and it was giving me adorable speed of 600-900kb/S(=7mbps), but had never expected it will give me this slow speed.
                          It is giving me speed of 10-25 kb/S(200-340kb/S) all day/Night, from last 10-14 days.

                          Please inform me why is my net-setter giving out this slow speed ? is there's any problem with idea's towers or my net-setter ?

                            I bought an IDEA 3G Net Setter data card in Rudrapur (our factory location) during the month of Jan 2012. Since then I have repeatedly experienced problem of non-availability of 3G network on the my Net Setter data card. Upon contacting Idea services every time I get only promises that the problem will be resolved within 15 minutes. Than there is no result after 15 minutes. When I call up again they make me remove & reinsert data card, as a part of advance level of trouble shooting they make me shut down my PC & restart again. Again one more promise of sorting out the issue within one hour saying that by mistake roaming is turned off & they are "refreshing" the connection.

                            This has been repeatedly happening for more than 6 months & still I have not got any final solution despite several promises from their side. Off late I clearly sense there is insincerity in the communication from their side. They are not coming clear about uninterrupted availability of 3G network. Upon pressing hard at times they made some arrangements & I was able to use "Vodafone (2G)(3G)" network occasionally. I don't what arrangements they did but every time I moved out of Delhi & came back again the problem used to resurface & same rhetoric had to be repeated.

                            I want to understand if there is any Idea 3G service available in Delhi NCR or are you taking people for ride by false promises as done by the person (Mr. Harish-[protected]) while selling me the data connection. At times during trouble shooting he made me talk to some senior person Mr. Sharik([protected]) also & he has also not been able to help me out. Both these gentlemen just keep promising & make me do different things rather than coming out clear about availability of Idea 3G services in Delhi NCR. Every time 2G connection is available & gets connected promptly but 3G is rarely available that to through Vodafone. I have never seen any Idea 3G connection listed in the Manual Network Registration screen also. Hence I suspect Idea doesn't have any 3G network of their own in NCR.

                            I have faced many embarrassing moments in front of my clients, suppliers & colleagues when this data connection did not work and I was not able to complete the most important work at hand without borrowing data card from them. They have been saying I have bought trouble by going for Idea 3G connection & should switch to other reliable service providers.

                            Hello! Is there anybody in Idea who can help me sort out my 6 months old issue. Is any senior person listening?

                                Be careful from IDEA Cellular promotional/informational SMS & calls. Receiving those call inadvertently (assuming call might be from your relatives) get you lose few money from your prepaid mobile. I have registered my mobile number [protected] on[protected]with 0 option) to avoid all these promotional & information SMS/call from Idea. On the month of May,2012 my DND register has been deactivated on[protected] without any request from me. I didn't understand why Idea has deactivated my DND requrest without any prior information?
                                Then i started receiving all those promotiolnal SMSes & information calls from Idea. One day suddenly i received a SMS that states that 30 rupees has been deducted for activating VAS IMS.I was surprised seeing the SMS. Despite several complaints (1-[protected],1-[protected]) & call to customer care i didn't get back the 30 rupees back. I have again activated DND. Now they have stopped sending SMSes/calls.

                                  I am Srinivas N, customer of idea cellular bearing mob num: [protected]. Charging more amount when i am in roaming. They are not charging according to plans given by them. Changing plans also without informing the customer. If i called to custmer care (12345), nowadays talking without proper respect also. 198 is the complaint number given by idea network, but if i call 198 for requesting complaint, they are asking to call 12345.Like this escaping without giving proper helping .

                                    I am unable to get 3G Speed on my NetSetter even after paying bills regularly. My bill cycle is 7th to 7th of every month and Data plan is 950 Unlimited. After usage of 6 GB data as per FUP, my speed is changed to 2G, however the same is not reset to 3G on start of next bill cycle. I am facing this issue since the last 3 months. This is very annoying. I have made several Calls to Idea Customer Care,Tech Support and also visited IDEA store at New Panvel. Nobody has been able to help me.                                       My idea net-setter number is [protected].They are offering a speed0f 7.2 mb/S.But for the last 1 week I am not getting a speed of 7kb/S.My plan is a post paid plan which is 750 per month for that plan 3gb is download limit.After 3gb they offer a speed of 128 kb/S. I made the complaint in their outlet and customer care . I went the idea office at Haripad 3 times but they are simply wasting my time. The idea customer care din't response yet .A positive approach is humbly requested in this matter.

                                      Idea Net Setter — low speed download

                                      i am using Idea Net Setter, prepaid, high speed EDGE / GPRS mobile internet, it takes more than 1hrs to download 10mb file to desktop, i hate the speed and time in my internet, while selling they tell it is high speed. Idea net setter is a worst internet. do not buy idea net setter is a waste of money, time,
                                      I have and idea net setter 650 rs unlimited plan. But the download speed is very slow. I am getting only 5 kbps. only sometimes it goes up to 12 kbps. Realy i am frustrated. I have wasted my money.

                                      Our's is Idea netsetter connection since four months. till last months the things were going alright but since last week th the connection is terribly slow and download speed is so low that the commenest sits doen't open . and on complaing to the Idea cust .care we are still waiting for the problem to resolve. Our work is suffering and due to the post paid billing , we still would have to pay the amount, though we are not using net for so many days due to this problem.
