The outgoings on my mobile phone nos.[protected] and add on conncection no. [protected] has been disconnected from this morning for the reason i have not paid the bill. The fact of the case is I have not yet received the bill from them so far. Earlier i used to get the hard copy of the bills regularly and I paid the bills much before due date. yesterday i had a telephone call from them about the reminder of payment and some girl Pooja was talking on phone. i told her i have not paid the bill because of non receipt of bills, she promised to mail the bill at 16.43 hrs yesterday itself. the bill has not come to as yet. If they do not send the bill and keep the option of disconnection of the services at their own sounds rediculous and unbusinesslike. Only in the last week of May 12 my line was disconnected twice for the reason on non payment but the fact remains I paid the bill in cash on 15.05.12 at their authorised service centre, but they said they did not receive the payment. That is not my botheration if their system is fualty.
Action must be taken against this company for deficiency in service.

Idea Cellular — Disconnection of phone

There has been regular harassment by Idea cellular service providers. Every 6 months credentials are asked for. My phone([protected]) has been disconnected inspite of repated submissions of proofs.
This is quite surprising and paradoxical company is laundering money in luring people to shift to Idea, whetre as it is yet to prove crdentials of friendly service providers

    My Self Nishit Kumar Trivedi S-164, Shivalik Nagar Haridwar-I am working as a proprietor of my company ASTRIX PHARMA EQUIPMENTS FROM LAST 6 YEARS. Sir basically we Manufacture red Pharmaceuticals Process Equipments & Spare Parts.
    Sir for your kind information’s we have approx 4 post-paid connections of idea cellular service from last 3 years.
    From the last one year we suffer for problem regarding our outgoing barred from the service provider. When had call to customer care they told your bill is not paid its shocked for me because before 4 Days we paid our bills by cash to Shivalik nagar desk counter who is authorized for collecting the payments?
    This is not a first time it happen already 10 times in Shivalik nagar and Ranipur more Ma Vaishnow Communications.
    When we tried to contact idea head office of Haridwar nobody was there for help whenever we visit one security guard sitting in the receptction and always told the same all person are in meeting .

    I asked to idea admin persons what the meaning of meeting when you not provide the basic service s to customers.
    Sir when we delayed one day to paid bills they discontinued our services I am asking you is there any terms when we deposited the bill before times and 6 days my services not started.
    Being as a customer my 3 years experencence very poor and hopeless service.
    If the things will be not managed it’s going to be downfall.

    Remark- [protected]- Bill Paid already in Advance and again paid in cash[protected] and[protected] my outgoing barred why.My wife in in hospital on that time her no. [protected] also paid on the same day[protected] but till 18 th her services cant be started .

    sir My wife was in critical condetions in hospital and because of we suffering a hudge meantel Tension.

    This nishit Trivedi is a cheat and he had fled from Haridwar, There is a criminal and civil case pending against him at Goa Court.

        Following is the complaint I filed with Idea Cellular on April 27, 2012.


        Hi,

        My name is Rajesh Vora and i was cheated by your company a week ago. I was offered a plan EBU Super 125. This plan includes 200 messages & minutes free, idea-idea 20 ps idea-other mobile 30ps. Idea-landline 50ps & STD charges to a landline/mobile will be 50ps per minute. Based on the plan i took two numbers that are as follows [protected] & [protected].

        I was contacted by your company executive today to inform me about my plan. I was informed that the STD charges to a landline/mobile would be 1rs. I told the executive to double check he said he did i told him to deactivate both the numbers he said he do not have authority. Then i called your Customer care and spoke with Kavita she denied deactivation. I called Sameer a Supervisor with your airoli/koperkhairne office at [protected] it came busy so i called another number i.e [protected].

        He said he will check the details and will call me in 2 mnts. Later i received a call from Priya (She is the one who logged my application in your system). She also said that the charge would be 1rs for STD. I asked her to deactivate both the numbers she did not respond. I have the pamplet with me and i am planning to contact the Consumer Court & Media for false advertizing by your company. I will never ever recommend any one to use Idea as they do not honor their commitments as well they have worst customer service.

        I have attached a copy of the plan details for your reference. I expect a quick response to my complaint.

        I'm using IDEA Connection in Rohtak (Haryana), Firstly I used Idea Connection as a post paid connection, after some month i change my connection in prepaid connection, both time company verify my Identity proof.
        I launch my complaint in against of message receiving problem at[protected], and company tell me that your problem will be solve at[protected].

        But today[protected] I again call customer care for my compliant, then company tell me that tell me your address. I think that they want to confirm my address with my name, but idea executive tell me that Your address not found in our system, so we write your address in idea system. I tell him where is my ID, who is given by me, they told me that Idea rohtak not send id, you go there, and confirm your id, and they also tell me that we have only new id address proof in our system, we not have old id proof in our system, we not found old id proof in our system

        Now main problem, 1) if company not receive my id, then how company run my sim, 2) I already confirm many time my id, that time where is company, 3) if company run my id without address, then how many connection is running in IDEA company, it means may be any body can use your Identity. 5) if any body have prepaid old idea connection they can call any activies, then who is responsible? 6) how not found our address proof in idea systems?

        this is fully cheated work with our country.
        I want request to TRAI, please confirm Idea connections sim address, they are tell me wrong or right.

        I received a telephone call from idea for new connection after submitting a request for new connection on idea cellular website. They promised me to provide a number of my choice which was [protected]. After that an executive (name: rajpal) came to me, I gave him rs. 250/- Cash and he gave me a sim (sim no.[protected], later I came to know that the sim was for number portability not for the new connection.). After some days I got a call from idea people and they told me that the number I had chosen is not available, so I can choose another number but I denied to choose any other number and asked them to return my money, so they disconnected the call without any confirmation. After some more days, a person came to me for verification and he told me that they will provide the same number to me. But after a week I got a letter from idea that some other number has been activated on a sim which was never delivered to me. So I called on customer care number [protected] and they told me that this type of complaint can not be registered at this number, so please call at 198. I DID the same but the same result, they didn't registered my complaint and when I force him to register it, he disconnected the call. So finally I complaint about it to the idea cellular head office at a-68, sector 64 noida (up) - 201301 and they told me that they will resolve the problem within 15 days but after 15 days I got the bill for that number which I never used. I again went to the head office and they told me that it will take some more days. After some more days I again visited the head office and they asked me to gave a written complaint about this and promised me to resolve this issue and to return my money with in 7 days. But today I got a call again from idea and they told me that they are unable to return my money back to me.

        In between I tried to call the rajpal and he didn't pick my phone and also visited many my idea showrooms to lodge my complaint but they told me that it can be resolved only from noida head office.

        I am totally frustrate from all of this. Please do the needful as soon as possible.
        I have tried many times and they didn't respond properly. Even I got two bills from idea of the number ([protected]) allotted to me and I am getting the calls from idea cellular daily to pay the pending bills and I complained about it at My Idea Showroom at you head office at Noida But no result.

        Either you people resolve the problem or I have to go to the consumer forum.

          Idea Cellular Ltd. — Online Recharge

          I was recharge from IDEA Cellular site on 9th October 2009 with amount of Rs. 200. Recharge was not successfully but Rs. 200 were debited from my bank account. Till today I didn't get reverse of my balance. Lots of time I personally meet to Idea office as well as lots of time i called to there senior officers but they do nothing, they just said we forward your request to upper level, your balance will be reverse within two days. Today its 5 months but it will not reverse.

          The name of the officers whom I called / Personally Meet is..
          1. Mr. Hiren
          2. Mr. Vikas
          3. Mr. Pinak Shah
          4. PA of Mr. Devangsu Chodhari

          And one more thing Mr. Vikas also said me that "Tumhare se jo hota hai wo karlo, tumhe jisko complaint karne hai usko complaint karlo, consumer forum me jana hai to usme jao magar tumhare paise reverse nahi honge." Is this way to talk with any customer??

          Please sir, do something on behalf of me and if you say I can also SUE on IDEA Cellular Ltd.

            " We would like to inform you that amount of Rs.12.9/- have been credited towards your Idea account on June 14, 2012 for the recharge of Rs.99/- made dated June 14, 2012.

            Moreover, we would like to inform you that amount of Rs.12.9/- have been credited towards your Idea account on June 08, 2012 for the recharge of Rs.99/- made dated June 08, 2012. Hence full talktime has been provided for both the recharges. "

            Thankyou for responding at least. I would like to clarify some points:

            1. I have not received any message nor any update in my balance when you (as per your email and phone call) have credited the balance money of Rs. 12.9 both times.

            2. On 14th June after one hour of recharging when I have contacted customer care officer, he told me that on 8th June idea has not sent me any message of full talk time that is why the balance Rs.12.9 have not credited to my account. Now you are telling that the money has already been credited. Every time you people change your statements. What is the truth.

            I think you people are not maintaining your records properly or I am sorry to mention but perhaps some manipulation is being done to prove yourself correct.

              i am using idea prepaid connection from 8th feb 2011 by use of mobile number portability.. there was a no problem first 6 months, most my friends and relatives are select idea new connection and changing their no to idea through mobile number portability.

              this is a time to inform to others.. idea provide a rate cutter Rs22, idea to idea 10p, o.mob 30p for 90 days val. but it's only activate in own idea coverage area NOT IN THEM TIED UP COVERAGE AREA, yes with my knowledge

              stupidly the customer care executives are told the same dialog whle we are contacting them "we will help you soon"..!

              me and my friends are not able to communicate with us in low cost.. only one rate cutter available here.. Rs42 for 30 days validity plan is 30p for all local mobiles.. not available 10 p scheme in above entered coverage areas..

              what is the solution for this solution? please suggest us.

                i am getting miss call alerts more tan the calls since last two three days and that oo untimely where as my hanset is showing full coverage and i have spoken with few other persons in the area who are facing same problem and the condition is becoming worse and worse as time is passing, i am facing same problem in dialing....kindly get the rectification or compensation at the earliest
                i have deactivated my dialer tone service as i am searching for my favorite song since last 20 days and i still didn't get it. For this i tried to send sms on 53463 but response was not asper my wants then i asked customer care to activate my song from their side twice but didn't work, then i searched for this on your website Idea cellular still didn't get the response.
                DEAR SIR,

                I HAVE DEPOSITED MY IDEA CELLULAR BILL ON 1ST APRIL 2011 BUT TILL TODAY (06TH APRIL 2011) MY SERVICES WERE NOT ACTIVATED.

                WHEN CONTACTED WITH IDEA CUSTOMER CENTRE TODAY IT WAS INFORMED THAT DUE TO SOME BACKEND ISSUES SERVICES WERE NOT ACTIVATED AND IT WILL BE DONE IN NEXT 12 HOURS.
                Hi,

                I have taken a post paid connection from Idea Cellular. Outgoing of that number was barred after two days of connection. Upon calling their customer service number - 12345, I talked with customer care executives and their seniors (Mr. Shrikant Joshi and Mr. Ketan Pandey) as well. They said me that the address verification has not happened and thats why the outgoing has been barred.

                Continously for three days I kept on giving new requests for address verification. Neither no one turned up for verification nor no one called me for the same.

                All the time when I called the customer service number, a new member used to talk and when I used to ask for Mr. Shrikant Joshi and Mr. Ketan Pandey, on one used to come on the line.

                This has lead to loss of my time, business and mental harassment.

                Being harrased by the company, I thought of putting this complaint.

                We are cug idea customers since more than 9 months of company named ORO DENTAL in Pune (Maharashtra).
                Before 1 month I want to change my tariff plan to 'MH PRIVILEGE 499' for no. [protected]; and wants to update mail Id. I contacted mr ramkisan(who gave us cug plan). He was used to saying that he forwarded request. We called him 15-20 times. His ans. was same. We contacted customer care, they told us to go idea office. We went to idea office in Aundh(Pune) & Hadapsar(Pune).
                In Hadapsar office situation is more worst.
                We gave them company letter & application which have stamp & authorised sign & photo Id proof of one of plan member's, as they told initially. After that they were demanding clear Zerox copy, we again submitted that.
                Again they demanding only authorised Id proof.
                Again stamp on Id proof.
                Why they didn't tell us all this things initially in one time?
                We were going to n fro in offices, had lots of talk with customer care without any positive solution.
                More of times office server is down! What's this!
                Then after giving all documents they forwarded request but wrong.!
                After 40 hrs my plan changed to 'PREMIUM 499'. But I want 'PRIVILEGE 499' plan; And I clearly write it on application and letter head.
                Customer care was saying it was office mistake.
                Hadapsar office saying its company mistake & again i have to wait for more than 24 hrs for plan change.
                They were also saying I have to pay for 1 day charges of PREMIUM 499 plan.
                Why I pay for this foolish mistake, which was not mine? And why I have to suffer?
                Now My internet is off n I m suffering of very poor idea cellular service.
                Why company is doing my harassment?
                Idea office employee don't have any sense of talking with customers, lacks humanity, have attitude. have very poor knowledge, not updated & doesn't have any eagerness to solve customer's problem.
                Idea office in Aundh didn't take our request n told that plan can only be change on bill cycle end date & didn't give attention towards us. He was engaged in his cell phone all the time. Does he is not updated or any have other reason.
                I want justice for idea cellular co. And specially about behaviour of idea cellular offices of Aundh and Hadapsar.

                  My outgoing services had stopped due to non payment and yesterday I submitted my bill but till now my outgoing services are not active. I am getting only fake commitments from there customer care representatives with reference no. till now i have received four reference No's to unbar my outgoing services. Ref No's[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected]
                  My credit limit is 1500/- but they (Idea) stopped my services on 1200/-. If they are stopping services on 75% of credit limit then what is the meaning of credit limit?
                  please look in to the matter and take a strict action against the company so other customers may not suffer because of there (Idea) Problem.

                    Sir,
                    VODAFONE no [protected] port in idea, date-14th JUNE 2012 and upc code is VZ722278.But if i enter new idea sim card in mobile 'SIM CARD SHOW SIGNAL BUT I CANT RECEIVE INCOMING AND NOT MAKE OUTGOING CALL'.Say what can i do.
                    If i talk to customer care, he say your porting request is completed, u just dial 2222 and activate.
                    But How can i dial 2222 idea network not connect and phone show call ended.
                    so kindly solve my problem.

                      have a Idea Prepaid connection. 1MONTH BACK Idea Executive called me asked me for convert to Postpaid.Then I said ok. their Executive approached me and collected documents and money (300/-) and executive given one SIM to me. Now they are not responding with call or message.It is nearly 2 MONTHS over after they receive my money and documents. SIM which they have given to me is not activated.
                      What i have to do with that SIM and What about my money? How i have to get back that money?

                          I had Dialer Tone issue with Idea mobile number [protected], so I called 198 at about 8:00 pm on 17th June, 2012 to resolve it. I talked with a customer care executive and told him to add a complaint for the issue. Instead he gave me a wrong complaint number "12345". I asked execute his name. He replied with "Rowdy Rathore" while making fun of customer.

                          Kindly look for the matter and take appropriate steps against this person.

                            Dear Sir/Madam, I am using this certain Idea number for the past 7 years more or less, recently I am having a real tough time to cope up to the service providers unnecessary deductions, in-spite of my talking to the customer care and their executives nothing has changed. Only my money is being cut! The moment I happen to call on to the corresponding customer care service executives, the reception and their services gets a jerk and I loose the connection! Very often they are too busy to respond. The last but not the least, the most common factor which I am facing is that very few of their customer care service executives are really good in conversing in English in-spite of their being option like.."IF YOU WISH TO TALK IN ENGLISH, PRESS 1, IN ...etc etc..." So hilarious. I simply wish to know how can I get to know the best of packages which will suit my necessity to my utmost utilization and which will make me pay exactly to whatever I opt for, nothing more and nothing less. I do not want any unnecessary calls or messages, including the ones sent by the service provider. Can I get any help before I take other steps? Thank you, Joydeep banerjee.

                              IDEA NET SETTER ROAMING...............SUCKS

                              I HAVE AN IDEA NET SETTER CONNECTION TAKEN FROM DELHI I AM CURRENTLY ON ROAMING IN JHARKHAND. IT WORKED FOR A MONTH, NOW IT DOES NOT WORK.
                              NET SETTER SEEMS CONNECTING BUT NO WEBSITES CAN BE OPEN. HAVE GIVEN MANY COMPLAINTS ON EMAILS AND SPENT MANY HOURS ON PHONE EXPLAINING THE PROBLEM. ONLY AUTOMATED THANK YOU MAILS. DIFFERENT AGENTS GIVES DIFFERNT CONFUSING MESSAGES AS TO WHY THERE IS A PROBLEM --- HAVE RECHARGED UPTO 1000 RUPEES IN THE LAST WEEK BUT NO IDEA WHERE THE MONEY GOES...THE PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK.

                              NODAL OFFICER IS SLEEPING. VERY ILL TRAINED CUSTOMER SERIVE AGENTS AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT WHO DOES NOT HAVE A CLUE. ABHISHEK BACHCHAN SHOULD STOP ENDORSING THIS PRODUCT.                               idea/netsetter — net setter not working

                              I stay in surat. I purchase idea netsetter with unlimited data plan @850 Rs &speed of 236.8 kpbs.But i am getting 0 to 5 kpbs speed. I made so many complain to company but they are not respod properly.What to do? My netsetter number is [protected].

                              my netsetter is used in karnataka roaming...but it's not working. I complained to customer care exicutive and recieve one message 'your roaming is activated' but the roaming is not get in karnataka. pls i request you to solve this prroblem...my no; [protected]

                                  Sir, I Mr. Kiran Adhav converted my prepaid Idea Sim to Postpaid after receiving calls and insistence from Idea call canter representatives. I paid Rs. 250 as refundable security deposit to Mr .Sanket (M- [protected], a marketing representative of idea cellular) working for "Velocita IT And HR Solutions" Authorized DSA for Idea Cellular (office at "Asmita" Paud Road, Bharati Nagar No.1, Kothrud, Pune).

                                  However when i recd the bill for my post paid connection Rs. 250 against SD for prepaid to Postpaid was again charged in that bill. I contacted Mr. Sanket and requested him to correct this bill amount for which he had agreed. However M/s Idea Cellular representatives had blocked my outgoing calls and forced me to pay the security deposit the SD amount Rs. 250 again to resume the services. We do not expect this type of response from IDEA, hence requesting you to kindly address this issue.

                                  I had taken add on connection on my mobile no [protected]. I got a call from mobile no [protected], who collected from me documents required for issue of Add on number and Rs 300.00 for new SIM. Now after 7 days, the mobile no [protected] is switched off, and still I did not get the add on connection.

                                      I have recharger for 98rs for free Internet on mobile for 30 days in-spite of that they are charging and deducting from my main balance till now they charged 19.30 rs,when i called customer care they are like."our server id down we are not able to revive your details, call after 1 hour".when i called again they refusing to accept..

                                      Hello,

                                      My Name is Rishikesh, I am an employee of ADROIT GROUP OF INDIA .

                                      On 27th march 2010 of Executive by Name MR.Latieef by Number [protected]
                                      from IDEA Idea Cellular Company Karnataka came to us and promised us to get 12 SIM Cards on Corporate Tariff Plan of 249. Thinking same we asked him to provide us credit limit of 1000 rs for each Sim card he also promised us to get all the 12 numbers in one serial . Believing Mr Latieef we provided all the documents and on 1th April the connections got activated and we were shocked to see that non of the numbers were in serial, nor the tariff plan was of 249 and nether the credit limit was 1000 rs.

                                      The Tariff was like this
                                      It was CUG 199
                                      Credit Limit was 500
                                      And Number were all jumbled

                                      Now please suggest me or help me to take strict action this type of cheat company's like Idea!

                                      On 27-Oct-2012 i have recharger from *369*91# they deducted my amount to change my plane and they sent a massage saying that with in 2 hors we will activate the plane i waited till 28 morning and again i called to call center they tolled that they are going to activate with in 12 hrs and they promise me they are going to refund my deducted amount till 30 of October they have not activated the plane again i called to call center they tolled there is technical problem till evening they are going to call on[protected] they activated the plane and i told to refund my deducted amount that time they tolled me we logged the complaint they will refund my deducted amount with in 12 working hrs know today[protected] they are telling we will not pay your deducted amount

                                        My idea net-setter number is [protected].They are offering a speed0f 7.2 mb/S.Bu for the last three days ie from 11.6.12 I am not getting a speed of 7kb/S.My bill date falls on 10th of every month.My plan is a post paid plan which is 947 per month for that plan 6gb is download limit.After 6gb they offer a speed of 128 kb/S.They don't give value for my money.I send them a complaint in their website on 11.6.12.Even after 3 days they didn't replied.A positive approach is humbly requested in this matter.
