    Past 15 days there is not enough speed through Idea 3G connection. Previously I had recharged for 595 - 2GB data and after around 1.4GB data usage the speed dropped. I wonder if in 3G band also they have the funny fair usage policy. Anyway this time I have recharged for 750 - 4GB data plan and still the speed is not there. It fluctuates to as low as 10 kbps!!!

    Please tell me the direct customer care number, so I can speak to Idea CCE and get more information. My monthly usage is only around 2GB. Why should the 2GB plan not give me good speed till the last MB?

    Paise khane ka... what an idea!

      i nidhi sharma got my phone recharged on 7th may 2012 via mobile banking. the a/c got instantly debited but till today i.e 15th may the phone has not been recharged nor the money returned. the customer care told to wait for 7 daysbut in vain........ calling them again they just pass on the call and do not register any formal complaint....... fax no. they provided for complaint does not work........... dont understand where to complaint..........
      a small amount nd such a big task of filing just a little complaint.............

              I was holding IDEA SIM number [protected] for more than 8 years and was constantly used. Since I am a frequent traveller, the SIM was put on roaming and was not used for sometime though I use to get SMS messages. Recently, even without informing me my SIM got deactivated. This number is used for Bank Transctions, Dish TV and Tatasky contact numbers and many other vendors have been give this number. Moreover, all my friends have been provided with this number. The sudden discontinution of this number without informing me has created a big financial loss of around 50 lakhs since i lost major business deals.

              Once registered IDEA should have forwarded official intimation of lines getting disconnected if on non-usage. Secondly, if the number is reused with a new customer, then I will loose all my security of my transctions. Who will be responsible for my loss? I would suggest the SIM number should be given to the same user as the new user will be disturbed with calls of older user.

              Idea Mobile Sim — INCOMING and OUTGOING CALL BARRED for MORE THAN 50 HOURS

              I called the costomer care for 10 time and also raise a complain since 5 NOV 2009.

                I have recharged 148 rs for idea internet pack on 24/04/2012 at12.57 pm in recharge shop i got the msg of succrsuccessful recharge also confirmation msg form idea that your internet pack has been activated but when started to brows my main balance was deducting after i called to customer care they ate telling like that your recharge was not updated so we can't help, so manytime i have called but they didn't response me even i raised thecomplaint also but no use.                         For one year with Idea I had a simple GPRS plan going for 2Gb Capped. 200 Rs/Month.
                        Under some 3G drive they convinced me to activate 3G.
                        I activated 3G. I used it for 2 months. I then found that it was of not much use to me. So I placed the call to de-activate 3G.
                        They de-activated 3G. My GPRS is still active I assume that my GPRS plan is also active since the service is active.
                        I recieve the bill mentioning i have been charged 2500 Rs just for using 130 Mb!!!!!!!!!!
                        I email them they say that my plan was changed to 2paise/Kb.
                        I did not make this request to change my plan.
                        Idea has charged me 2500k without warning. When 3G was active and my plan was capped they kept sending me messages o[censored]sage.
                        But in this case did not send me message for usage.
                        I tried my best to get the charge reverted but they wont budge.
                        I think I have been looted. Please advise me.

                          sir my phone number is [protected] and initially i was an airtel customer then on 22 april 2012 i was called by a idea customer executive. he told me about a Rs 249 plan telling that it contains 400 local sms, 400 local calls, and 1Gb 3G data per month. i confirmed 4 times that it is 3G or not, the executive repeatedly assured me that it is 3G. it appeared good to me and I paid a security amount of Rs 250 to Mr Rakesh of idea cellular limited, channel partner- S R communication, HR-35B, 60 Foota Road, Pul Pehladpur, New Delhi-110044 on 21 april 2012. i received an idea sim and cash receipt from him. i was in contact with Mr Gaurav of same communication, he asked me my plan, port key, and sim number, i gave every information to him.

                          finally my network changed from airtel to idea postpaid on 2 may 2012. i called the customer care and asked him to activate my 3G service but he told me that my activated plan is Rs 350( i was told about rs 249 plan initially) and it does not contain any gprs or 3g service. i filed a complaint regarding this wrong information and activation, my complaint number is[protected], it has to be entertained by some executive on 21 may 2012. meanwhile as my 350 plan is useless and costly for me, i filed a request on 3 may 2012 to change my plan from Rs 350 to rs 249 combo(it actually contains 1Gb 2g data and i was wrongly told 1Gb 3G), my request number for plan change is[protected]. on 5 may 2012 my plan was changed but my internet was not working so i called the customer care and told him that my plan has 1Gb 2G data free and requested him to activate my gprs. he activated the gprs and i was able to browse the internet from 6 may 2012.on 6 may 2012 i downloaded some wallpapers from internet and after some time my network was blocked. i called the customer care again and told him about it, their senior executive talked to me and said that my bill has crossed the allowed limit and and tell me my current bill is Rs 1125. i was shocked and told him that i have not used the number for more than 3 days and i have not made more than 25 calls since my activation. i requested him to check again for any error and tell me how my bill has increased so much in just 3 days. he told me that due to the gprs usage my bill has increased, i told him that i have 1Gb free data included in my rate plan, he told me that my free data has not been activated instead my zero rental plan has been activated. i told him that this is the fault of their executive as i have asked him to activate my plan internet and he has activated the wrong gprs. I asked the details of my bill as i have not used much data that could make my bill 1125, he told me he cant provide me my details and blocked my network. as i cant use my number now so i am using a different number, my alternate number is [protected].

                          sir i humbly request you to look into my complaint as i was fooled and cheated by the idea customer executives to lure into their network, and now they are activating wrong plans to charge me extra by cheating. i can not pay this bill amount, moreover my Rs 250 has been struck with them. sir i want my Rs 250 back,my network to revert back to airtel and strict action against such fraud executives.

                            This is in reference to bill generated for the month of May.


                            I have taken black berry service of Plan BIS 399 on 31.03.2012 and I am facing below issue:

                            1. I am not able to connect GMAIL to my blackberry mobile. I have called black berry customer care 4 times yesterday and 2 times earlier also but the issue was not resolved. Please resolve the issue at earliest.
                            2. Why I am not been notified by SMS regarding the bill generation and last day since last few months?
                            3. My bill show GPRS usage and I have been charged for that. I have contact Santosh on customer care and below explanation was given to me:
                            a. If I use WiFi facility from my mobile, I will be charged for the internet used by using the Wifi. Can you please explain me the logic behind this? Why shall I pay to two operator (Wifi facilty provider and Idea) for the same quantum of internet used? And where it is notified to the user?
                            b. I was also been told that I have charged facebook, but the BIS 399 includes Social networking.

                              I recharged my number with 44 rs which was for a sms pack. But it didn't activate as i found out after sending a few messages, so i called up the customer care who said the pack will be activated after 12 hours. I even got a complaint code (1-[protected]) telling me so. But 12 hours have been long past and nothing's been done. What's worse is that I had to send a lot more messages since I have to do that for my work and i can't even recharge again until previous one is done first. I can't even talk with the customer care executive, the call always gets disconnected. Kindly refund me my deducted amount since the recharge was done and activate the pack.

                                I am the user of Idea prepaid SIM ( [protected]). today I have received a call from [protected] at 2:55 PM. I have been told that my number has been selected by company for listening songs by just dialing 11111 and there will not be any charge for this. on telling the requested person I told him that I am not interested in such type of facilities and have no spare time for this. He again requested " there are no charges and you can avail this service any time with in six months so I am activating the same".
                                after this I received a SMS at 3:01 PM showing that my IMS has been activated and an amount of Rs. 120 has been deducted form my prepaid account.
                                this is absolutely a cheating from service provider therefore I request to kindly look into the matter so that not only I can get back my illegally charged money but also a lesson to service provider not to cheat others in future.

                                  On 10may2012 at 3.08pm .i have a problem so i just dail 198 ..i just talk to customer care bt he cant solve my problem ..i asked his name but he didnt tell me and he put the phone on hold for 3min. I call him on phone hello hello again nd again but no response..after 3min he say u r satisfied ..i said tell me ur name then he cut my call..its not fair...i m using idea by port but nw i think this is a frod company..coz so many times u tried 198 but no one recieve.nw i want reason why he disconnect my call.i m sending a notice to idea ad sonn as.

                                  yester i call on cce of idea, first of all agent given me wrong commint again and again regarding not using internet facility of mobile and no. is [protected]. on that time i was talking to mr. shambhu and lastly after a long time request by me then transfer my call to serior department and then talk to TEAMLEADER Mr. Shambhu and he was also not given me proper solution and on running call disconnect.

                                    I am prepaid user of mobile[protected].
                                    2 months back I had activated 2G net pack of 8GB - 3 months validity. Till 8/5/2012 there was a balance of more than 2GB data.
                                    On 8/5/2012 for trial purpose I activated a 3G pack with RC22 for 100 MB - 3 days validity. My experience with 3G was good. 100MB data was exhausted yday due to live video streaming.

                                    However, after exhaust of 3G package, the 2G package data was also terminated. Hence I request you to kindly reload 2G data package having an balance of more than 2GB in my mobile no.[protected]. Looking forward to your immediate response.

                                      Idea — Didn't get the recharge Payment

                                      This is in reference to the payment done for the prepaid mobile recharge for my no[protected] on Aug 2, 2009 of rs 222/ - but till date neither the recharge done no I received any message.

                                      But when i checked again, the number was mistaken, i put[protected], the second digit went wrong, but this number actually does not exist, is there any way to get my money back to my account ?

                                      I am a very busy person so I don't have time to recharge my cellphone balance in retail outlets. I normally do this online. However, I have always faced problems with the online recharge system of Idea Cellular. The recharge is not successful immediately. The message I always get is: "ideacellular.com has not received a confirmation on the payment made by you from the payment gateway. As soon as we get an intimation from the payment gateway, the amount would be credited to your Idea account. As soon as this amount is credited, an intimation would be sent to you on sms."

                                      At the same time, I also get an sms in my phone saying "Thankyou for making a payment of Rs.xxx on the Idea Cellular website. It is being updated in your account." I checked if this was my bank's fault, so I tried recharge from another bank's website. However, the message I get is same. Sometimes my phone gets recharged only after a day or two. Sometimes, it doesnt. Every time I have to send an email to the customer care that I have recharged and you have to look into this matter. I think this online recharge facility of Idea sucks big time.

                                      Idea — Recharge not reflected on balance

                                      I am Trevor Rebelo Using Maharashtra Prepaid Card No.[protected]. I have done the Online Recharge Of Rs.100/- and this is deducted From My Saving A/c at ICICI Bank and have got a sms that the amount is reflected on balance. But its not reflecting on the available balance while calling.

                                      I have called to Customercare, twice but they say that the system is down call after 4 hrs.

                                      Idea Cellular — Payment made but not reflected in account

                                      Sir/Madam,

                                      I have an Idea cellular connection in my name for which I have duly made all the payments but still my phone has been disconnected due to the internal mismanagement of Idea.
                                      Kindly advise as to the resolution of the problem as I have already contacted the Nodal Officer numerous times but this has not been resolved.

                                      I am an Idea postpaid user with the number[protected]. I had duly made the payment for my bill (due date 18.05.2011) for Rs. 463.36 vide cheque no. 508882 drawn on Bank of Baroda on 19.05.2011. This payment was debited from my Bank account on 24.05.2011.

                                      I have received numerous calls daily from the Idea Collection Centre since 25.05.2011 regarding this payment with the caller being highly rude and ill mannered. She has also said things like calling me a liar and that I have not deposited any money.

                                      I would also like to bring to your notice that I have not received any paper bill for the past 2 months. Upon enquiring from your customer care, I was told that I had requested for bills to be sent on my mail. But, I have not made any such request. Even then, I am not receiving any bills on my email.

                                      I am severely disappointed with the unorganized manner in which the payments are processed with Idea. I am constantly being harassed for no fault of mine as I have not received any bills but still have made the payments. The outgoing facility on my number is blocked causing me lots of inconvenience, although I have communicated the details of the cheque to your customer care 2 days back.

                                      I believe this is gross deficiency of service by Idea and you are requested to resolve the matter at the earliest."
