    This is regarding my online recharge through HDFC BANK Credit Card. I got my Idea Mobile No.[protected] recharged on https://www.justrechargeit.com for Rs. 49/- the said amount has been debited from my HDFC Bank Credit Card A/c, after that I received an SMS from Idea No. which is +91-[protected] which says: MRP Rs. 49.00 nat sms 750 Final NAT SMS 750 Expiry date 27/06/2012, Serv-tax 5.390, Proc_fee 43.610 Recg Cat STV. But I have not got a single penny into my mobile no. When I Complaint in your customer care centre, the tele executive says that amount will be credited into your mobile within 3-4 hours compalint no.: 1.[protected], one says that amount will be credited into your mobile witin 24 hours, one says that this service has been closed, so you won't be received any amount into your mobile no. If that service has been closed then why the amount has been debited from my credit card A/C. I have made several calls in your customer care centre but nothing has been done so far.
    You are requested to do the needful at the earliest and reimburse my amount which is Rs. 49/-

    i have made online recharge of rs.30 to my idea number [protected] on 11.04.2010 but balance not cametomymobile even in my bank account ir has debited there is no response from customercare even after several calls to them

    I have done a recharge of Rs 111 using idea cellular online recharge on 11/12/12 (6:45 pm).But my mobile did not get recharged.Even I dont receive any message.the reference no. is MHDF[protected].

    Every time I recharge my number ([protected]) online the recharge gets failed. I m trying to recharge my mobile since 1 month then to the recharge gets failed. I can recharge my mobile from shops nearby but if I m trying to recharge online but I get problem and it says that "Idea has declined order as you seem to have selected incorrect operator or incorrect billing type (prepaid / post paid) Your money has been refunded to your Account. I don't understand what's the problem..??? So can u plaza help me??????
    On 10 Sep 2015, at 1.18PM i made a recharge on my idea number [protected] for Rs 330 through your website www.ideacellular.com. I choose the online payment option and directed to my bank site. After completing all the formalities website is redirected to your website( i.e. Idea cellular) and your website shows that " Successful Transaction". But i have not received any message from idea.

    After few hour when i contact customer care and told him about my problem but they told me that they are unable to solve my problem.

    Here is my bank transition Details:

      Hello sir,

      My idea prepaid no is [protected]. I have migrated this no from postpaid to prepaid on 12th May 2012. This no is activated on 14th May 2012 for prepaid.

      But till now incoming call is barred for this no. I called customer care a lot of times. I submitted my documents again on 23rd May 2012 to the nearest idea outlet. They told that it would be resolved within 3 days. Because of this incoming call barred, I am facing so many problems.

      If I am not able to make outgoing, I can use some other no for temporary. But incoming is barred means, It should be resolved immediately.
      I am not happy with your service.


      Kindly do the needful immediately.

      Idea Cellular — incoming barred

      I was using idea from last 4 years but one day they stopped my incoming calls. the customer care is pathetic they never get connected so went to idea center to submit docs again but,but till date my number is not activated I send 10 mail to idea care but no response and finally I have to take new number(airtel).
      my advice is to stay away from idea.

        i buy a post paid sin no [protected] and request it for increase credit limit the customer care said me it will be done the the not do it after reach my low credit limit they stop my incoming and out going then again i request to do it but no result come then i use other sim and think when i free then will pay the bill because i can't pay online because the sim already stop. after it the customer support call me to my alternative no and said kindly pay bill i said now i have no time kindly active my no the i can easily pay bill though idea online account then they not done it some day latter again they phone me and i pay bill but till now my no not active when i call customer support they said kindly deposit your id prove and tow ppsize photo to again active it again i go to idea office the say to me that the number is reserved by other person, how a useless company, i advice to all kindly not get idea sim, get vodafone and reliance, the are very best the prosess any complain with in a call

          Hi Team,
          I call to the customer care to (198) from [protected] on 2552012 at around 10 pm at for balance deduction. That time agent gorakhnath had received my call and provided the information about balance deduction for call charges. On same call I want information about my currant tariff but agent gorakhnath got irate and said am doing time pass and drop my call..
          Later on I called second time to speck with senior for complaint about gorakhnath that agent kishor had received my call when I asked him to transfer call but he did not transfer call ,then I asked him to give e-mail id of nodal desk then he used above sentences with me and total in sleepy mood :
          muze aata nahi , muze pata nahi hain , e-mail id nahi hain , senior nahi hain floor pe , muze system check nahi karana aata . and he also disconnected my calls and next he call me landline no. and abused me and am dam shure he was kishor online so I need to take require action against boyh agent gorakhnath as well kishor for that purpose today am going to port out my 3 idea connection.
          Now today I call to 198 to speak with senior agent shakil has received my call and he was also rude with me not transfer my call to senior what is the this titalllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyy third calls service ??????????

          Idea — idea consider customer as timepass

          IDEA , consider customer service as timess pass , dear all please go through the complete complaint so that you can understand how idea is bad on customer service

          complaint details
          I have taken netter on 7th april , i have taken the 399 plan for activation , where the 1 gb is free with the plan , and 1 gb free for first 3 billing cycle . ( you can find the same plan in any idea shop or idea website )

          my billing cycle is from 9th of every month

          hence
          1st month from 7 th april to 9th april went ok

          in the next month

          i have used 2.3 gb -

          now from above 1 gb should be free as it is free as per plan

          and another 1 gb free as ( first three billing cycle )

          but idea charged me for 2.3 GB completely

          now you will enjot this as how i got treated by idea

          i went to idea shop , that manager got convinced and raised a request on my behalf

          the above request got rejected by idea saying format not matching ? wow idea shop manager do not know the format of idea !!!

          then i raised the request with call centre on 13th may

          call centre executive said it will get solved on 19th morning

          then there were only promices for

          19th eve
          20th morning
          20th eve
          21st morning
          21st eve
          22nd morning
          22nd eve

          call centre exe kept promosing for dates and times and issue is still unsolved ,

          they have categorised my request under the head " time pass " in their system

          1. how can idea have a customer request type = time pass

          there is lot to write about the whole issue , but stopping just because complaint should be short and easy to undertand

            This is Vaibhav Goswami , My phone Number is [protected] . I applied to convert my Prepaid Connection to Post Paid Connection. Last Saturday. An executive from Vriti Info Com Visited me to collect all the required documents to process my request apart from that he also charged processing fees of Rs 275/- .


            Now its has been almost one week, my connection has not yet been changed in fact they don’t respond to my call.

            It’s really very harassing. I didn’t expect such irresponsibility from your side.

            Please take up this matter seriously.

              Dear sir/ Madam,
              my mobile number ([protected]) has been subscribed for caller tune for last some months for which the charges are deducted regularly. Just now the subscription was getting over on 24th may 2012. For which I received the sms on 21st may 2012. The charges for caller tune where deducted from my balance amount on 24th may 2012 which was rs 15/- For 90 days for which the intimation was given via sms. Then after another sms arrived saying that my subscription has been deactivated on 25th may 2012 via sms, on the same day 25th may 2012 another sms was shortly received saying that the subscription has been activated and the amount deducted is rs 249/- For 365 days without any intimation or request from the representative.
              The deduction of rs 15/- Is not a problem because that’s an official deduction periodically. But the deduction of rs 249/- From the balance is seriously a fraudulent action for which the complaint was done on the customer care, and the complaint number is sr.No. 1-[protected]. The representative clearly and shamelessly said that there is no policy of return of amount, you will get the scheme for which the amount is deducted no matter whether you like it or not.
              These is a fraud conducted knowingly, and I would like to take action against the idea cellular service from the consumer court and also would like to frame the charges against those representative who are responsible of do it. I would prefer to locate the computer on which these deduction was done and also would like to know the name of the person involved in such cheating ( normally cellular company perform these kinda deduction in numerous ways and excuses, for which they get benefitted in big amount when the users who suffer such deduction are in big numbers). Individually sometime its not a big amount but when you multiply it with number o[censored]sers who are covered under such fraud deduction, the amount can amount from some hundred to lakhs in a long period of time. This is not just a consumer related complaint, the procedure that is followed by representative on behalf of the cellular company is directly a theft ( a crime similar to pick pocketing ), hence it is subject to criminal proceedings and action under the Indian penal Code.
              Still no appropriate action has been taken from the cellular company regarding the same.

              Idea — fraud deduction of balance amount

              good afternoon sir,
              i am brijesh kumar tiwari my mobile no. is [protected] and i am residing in jabalpur my complian is that iam a user of idea gprs 10rupees service but sir i have already deactivate this service on 9th february 2008 but my balance 10rs. still deducting everyday from my balance account .sir i have made many complaints to cus. care and jabalpur idea office but neither no one responding me nor reverting my balance.
              i request you to please kindly solve my problemas soon as possible.

              i recieved a message on[protected] from the service that my dialer tone has been activated.I have not even been asked to opt for the service.on[protected] i recieved a message confirming the activation of dialer tone on my number.a balance of 10 rs has been deducted from my phone by one sided message and without my confirmation.
              Please return back my balance amount to rs.10 in 24 hours, otherwise i will be bound to complaint to TRAI against your action, with rs 100 compensation due to disturbance aroused to me by your action.
              Further it should be noted that there would not be any such type of deduction from my balance in future.

              on 4 may 2009 a person came to my house as idea representative and took Rs600 for a scheme on idea and gave a slip

                Can anybody at idea answer my query?

                My number is [protected]
                Plan 299 economy postpaid
                Circle Delhi
                GPRS plan 98/- unlimited
                Normal Bill 700-800/-
                Bill for May 6000/-
                Usage limit at my number 1400/-
                Reason told for excessive charge=GPRS usage for "2 days"
                I had actually called up idea to turn my number into a lifetime number and stop GPRS services and exiting plan. I paid the till date bill in May for 850/- (which is 50/- more than the billed amount)
                I was told on 18th May that my plans and GPRS were cancelled. I asked them about the additional charges. They told me it would be "Prorata"....
                Now pls explain to me

                Rs 6000/- FOR TWO DAYS !!!!....DOES IT SOUND FAIR OR UNFAIR...I think it sounds ridiculous especially when I was paying just 98/- for unlimited 2G services for the whole month.

                How can idea impose such ridiculous charges when cost to company for 2 days normal GPRS usage is less than 5/-

                I will send this info to everybody across the Internet if my charges are not reversed.

                  please note that above mentioned sim had been taken from idea company on 5/4/2012 from The Mobile Store, Bhawanipur, Kolkata and had been registered in the name of Vijay Patel. But this sim had been unregistered by the said company .on inquiry for the same the number has been allotted to the third party.


                  I would like to take legal action against the company.Kindly register my complain and advise the procedure.

                    I am using Idea prepaid chitchat connection since 2006. Now I am in abroad so I can't use the Sim properly. When I put Sim in to my mobile and it shows Sim card registration failed.
                    So I checked with Ernakulam office, they say that the connection is gone to another person one Mr.Shareef - Kannur. Last 3 week I try to contact him in his mob no [protected] which is my previous number. But still get the reply like mobile is switched off.
                    My humble request is, It is not a fancy number so you can give me back the same number to me from Mr. Shareef. As per my belief he don't want to continue with this number because he not used this number for last three week.

                    Kindly do the needful to reconnect the idea mobile connection from your end.

                        I purchased Idea NetSetter device around 2 months back and now suddenly device asks me for PUK and PIN. I got the information from customer care and entered it. It told me that the method is not allowed and i need to user System's WWAN UI to unblock the pin. I visited Idea Store, Called Idea Customer care, Contacted 198 for complaint and called 3G helpline as well and all told me that they cant help me and i need to visit idea store. Idea store people also had no knowledge on this issue and told me that they cant help me in it and i need to check with 3G support helpline. So I am in between and don't know who can help me where no one wants to help me in. My 3G device number is [protected] and my cell number is [protected], [protected].

                            I have idea prepaid no [protected]. I am unable to understand why Idea every times activated value added services,even I never requested for the same.
                            Is it a new way to earn money from customer? Whenever we call to cust. care they use to tell that you must have requested for the same.
                            I have lost my money just for nothing.......On 22/05/2012, Idea send a message containing a URL for SaReGaMa mentioning free downloading of RD Burman songs. I opened the URL and within two minutes closed it. Immediate after that I receive the message from Idea that,

                            "Dear Customer, thank you for downloading Value_Pack from SaReGaMa. You have been charged Rs. 50"

                            In the original first SMS, Idea Co. didn't mentioned the charges of Rs.50. Idea is looting the money from Loyal Customers by misguiding them.

                            Kindly help to get rid of this kind o[censored]nwanted problems & refund my lost money.

                            Idea Cellular — Fraud and Harrasment

                            I took Idea Postpaid number [protected] after i received call from one of the Idea Executives. They proposed me a very good plan with very cheap call rates both STD and local. I agreed to that plan called SUPER VALUE 199.They took Rs 250 from me and took all the necessary documents and after 1 day I got a confirmation call from Idea and they told me about a totally different SUPER VALUE 199 plan. I tried to contact the people who sold me that number but none of them picked up the phone. As they had already taken my money so I took that plan from them and my number was activated .Suddenly after 6 to 7 days I received a message from Idea saying that your number is suspended due to non submission of documents. I contacted the customer service and i was told that they have not received CUSTOMER AGREEMENT FORM. But the next day i received a bill from them. When i called again i asked them if you people have not received my form?? They obviously didnt had any answers. They told me that they will forward the case to their concerned team and will get back to me. After few days i got a call from Idea saying that My number has been permanently disconnected and i will have to contact Idea Relationship center and deposit all the documents to restart the services.

                            I totally refused to do that because they can only get my information if the yhave my documents. And if they have done this without the documents then its against the regulations of TRAI. Kindly suggest me what to do as I want to sue Idea in the consumer court for giving false information and also taking away my mental peace

                              Due to that I have paid Rs 803 extra.

                              SMS Charges = 0 Rs 15 Feb 2012 As per the old plan
                              SMS Charges = 220.5 Rs 15 Mar 2012 As per the New plan
                              SMS Charges = 227 Rs 15 Apr 2012 As per the New plan
                              SMS Charges = 356 Rs 15-May-2012 As per the New plan

                              Kindly take necessary action against Idea Operator.

                                I am bearing a post paid connection of Idea Cellular limited. I was using their plan called House full plan which entitled me to use 512MB of free GPRS along with other benefits. On 11th of May, I made a request to change my bill plan to Victor Plan. It was successfully done the very next day. After that I asked to add Rs. 99 GPRS pack which entitles me to use 1GB of free data every billing cycle. It was also enabled on 13th May. After a week suddenly I received an SMS that my credit limit of 2000 Rs has been exceeded and all my outgoing calls were barred without any warning or prior notice. At that time, my GPRS usage was 400 MB, which means 600 MB is remaining as per my plan. I lodged a complaint at their customer care regarding the same and CC executive told me I can get debarred only if I pay 1600 Rs in advance !!! I was shocked and I told I haven't used the connection much to have breached my credit limit. They told they can't check unbilled details and I have to pay 1600 as advance or else I could wait till next billing cycle. After a long call they agreed to raise a request to increase credit limit to 3000 Rs. This happened on Friday and its still pending with them. Again I lodged a complaint on their website and no one responded. This is really unfortunate for a customer being loyal to Idea and staying with them for the past 4 years tenure.

                                my post paid bill is not correct as per my usage. an extra charges for downloading of wallpapers, music and videos is shown in my bill. above it no one in customer care is willing to my problem, they make my call on hold for 30mins. on asking a executive(rahul) to forward this call to manager(time 5.00pm-5.30pm, 02.02.09).this company has a poor customer handling and making customers mentally harassed.please look into this. waiting for a positive reply from your side.

                                idea phone billing — not received any bill

                                I have purchased two connectionsin oct 09 from idea telecommunication person was deepak from ludhiana he said that in every billing cycle you will get your bill but yet now i have not recieved even single bill from company side now our company Birla sun life gives us reimbursement against bills but company demands original bill that is a fact but i have to face the loss of 3500*7 months idea company execujtive told me for paying bill but firstly i will cover my lose after that i will go forward bcz i have already paid 4 bills on faridkot office staff excuse thet also told me that in next cycle you will get ur bill so please do needful my contact no. is [protected]
                                I have been billed an additional Rs 100 on my postpaid number. I have raised a complaint against it for more than a couple of months now. All my follow ups have lead me to no solution as a result of which I decided not to pay my bill anymore. My outgoing services have been barred and I am looking ahead to sue the company.

                                Idea Cellular Ltd — Refund of advance made on taking plan & sim card

                                1. I have made a payment of Rs 240 in oct month through one of the agent of idea cellular but instead of crediting the amount in account it was wrongly credited to another number.

                                2. I informed the company about the incidence & asked them to reverse the amount but they are saying they don't have such facility & i have to make payment again or tell that another person to make payment on our behalf . They even charged Rs 100 for non payment of amount & when i tried to contact their senior manager they kept my phone on hold for more than 10min & ultimately i have to disconnect the phone.

                                3. I even tried to contact that person in whose account amount had been credited & told him to make payment on my behalf but every he just says he is out of station

                                4. Due non payment of amount they have restricted our outgoing & ingoing call & now they have sent notice of taking legal action on us.

                                I am holding up an idea no. [protected]. I came across an issue regarding my bill last month. I had changed my bill plan from Super Value 299 to Combo 249 plan in which 1 GB GPRS usage is free for 1 month. I got it activated on 22nd of june 2011 and there had been no intimation from Idea customer care people regarding activation of this plan, so I started using GPRS on 22nd of June 2011 itself. Now what i have seen that GPRS charges have been added to my bill for dated 22nd June 2011. When I talked to Idea customer care people regarding this problem, They were very rough to talk & replied that I should have had contacted them before started using this plan. Sir, I am sitting at the customer end & it was Idea's responsibility to intimate customers that the plan has been activated or not, not customer's responsibility to call your people for activation of services. I am attaching my bill herewith, Please look into the issue as the GPRS charges are approx. Rs. 440 for that particular date (22nd June 2011). I am not going to pay these charges as they have occured out of Idea's customer care fault.

                                I am an Idea customer of two corporate numbers ([protected] and [protected]) from last one year. Till January 2011 they had generated my bill correctly. After that the started generating wrong bill for my numbers. I stopped making payment and mailed them to revise my bills but they had not revised the bills and again they generated wrong bill. Suddenly on 8th of July 2011 they had barred my all services for both the numbers. They day only O went to their regional office in Bangalore and requested them to revise the bill so I can pay. They had not released my call services. Again on 16th July I went to their office and revised my bill there and I paid all due amounts. After that also they had not released my calls. I compalind many times, I mailed them many times but till date they had not resolved the issues. I had given my feedback in TRAI also. I am really dissatisfied with the services of Idea.
                                Idea services are really dissatisfactory. GET IDEA is the wrong slogan. My comment is PLZ DONT GET IDEA.

                                After the expiration of Advance Post Paid Scheme In July 2012 i submitted request for Cancellation on 18/08/2012 vide Request No. 11322718 dated 18/08/2012 and clear all dues up to that date in Local Office of Idea and Confirmation also given on phone when received call from IDEA customer Care for cancellation of above said Mobile No.

                                In spite of above still IDEA is still raising the bill and also threatening for Filling the case in Court through Different Mobile Nos. From time to time for Non Payment of Bills . I have visited numerous time to IDEA Local office and every time they assured me of getting this mistake rectified.

                                I am senior citizen and my wife also suffer from Chronic Disease and such kind o[censored]nnecessary harassment is causing great trouble to me.

                                Regarding Wrong billing without any action you have closed the Ticket. I don't know the reason. There is no answer regarding activation of GPRS without any request. Why you have activated GPRS. You have charges SMS charges each @Rs.20/- for 4 SMS i.e. total of Rs.80/-. What is that I don't know. What is gamepinda20. You have charged Rs.20/- for each and charged as 4 SMS. Without knowing the reason I don't pay this month bill and I will proceed legally. Why you have activated GPRS without any request for [protected] Number and [protected] Number. Was I Requested. What is the answer from you. You have charged Rs.98.98 as Internet Charges for [protected] and Rs.63.08 for [protected]. Why should I pay as there is no request from my side.                                 I have been using 2 mobilne Numbers 1) [protected] 2) [protected] Post paid Connection. For both the mobiles without any requests they have activated GPRS and Charged Rs.98.98 and Rs.63.47 as Internet Usage Charges. I dont know the reason why they have activated GPRS. Previously without any request when they activated the GPRS and I put a request to deactivate the same as I am not interested using internet service in Mobile Phone. Again why they have activated GPRS I Dont know. I made so many complaints to customer service but no response from them. Since 16th August, 2014 I am writing complaints every day bs.ut no response is received from them. The service part of the Idea is very worst. For mobile No.[protected] they have charged Rs.80/- as SMS charges. For each SMS they have charged as Gamepinda20 SMS charges and for each Rs.20/- and 4 SMS charges as gamepinda20. Total they have charges Rs.80/-+ service Tax. What is game pinda20 I dont know. I do not use the above said mobile phone. it is used for incoming purpose only. The Internet charges and SMS charges have to be reversed. The service part is very worst.
                                I have discontinued an idea connection last year as I was not using the service and had cleared all overdues.

                                I was not in the country and so did not need the service anymore. The company however still kept sending me bills and even though have on many occasions informed them of their mistake no corrective action being taken by them.

                                As I am not in the country I can mosty correspond through mails but they are unwilling to accept their mistake and close case.

                                Recently we switch from Reliance CDMA to Idea under Corporate Plan. From last two months we are getting wrong billing. Few services which were unknowingly started, we already stopped, Still we are getting charged for those service. We been to call centre for waver of this charges and it was informed us that amount is deducted from bill. But in next bill same amount it shows pending.

                                  I received a vulgar call from IDEA mobile no.[protected] at about 23.00 hrs today, i.e. on 20 MAY 2012. the prankster was using very abusing language. I want to block his phone number and book him under the law.

                                  Idea Mobile Service. — Prank calls from IDEA mobile no.

                                  Dear Sir

                                  We are getting prank calls from IDEA no. [protected] from last 6-7 months. I have also lodged complaint with M/s IDEA (Copy enclosed)

                                  Is there any citizen-police forum where such complaints can be lodged.
                                  I've been getting prank calls and messages from the following Idea phone numbers: [protected] and [protected]. I would like the name and address of the person to lodge a police complaint against the miscreant.
                                  i often receive prank calls from mobile nos.[protected], [protected] every other day. Same prankster will be calling with different numbers and will be talking is very filthy telugu language. I want to block these phone numbers and book him under the law. please help me out as i am very sick with these calls.

                                    Idea — deactivate my SIM

                                    Dear Sir,
                                    Since my purse was snatched while travelling during journey my mobile was also lost in it.Kindly deactivate my SIM with mobile number [protected] which is a prepaid IDEA in the name of Rajendra Kundalwal.Kindly do the necessary actions and send me a confirmation through my email.
                                    i am using idea numer [protected] since last 7 year and sudden 4 days back on my phone showing your sim registration failed so i went idea store and they told your sim is permanently closed.
                                    i dont know why they closed my sim permanently. i was regularly use my phone and never switched off it and continue used that sim.so why my number sudden closed.and why i can not get back same mobile number.

                                      I had recharged my IDEA mobile with twice for Rs.50 online at www.paytm.com. The Customer Care people of IDEA first asked to wait for 48-72 hrs so I did so. After the time period has elapsed, now they say that your money shall be refunded and all but no such thing happens. Sometimes, they also say that no recharge has been done on your mobile, so we cannot help you. I have tried to contact the Customer Care people at their complaint no 198 but this has been of no use. I want them to credit that Rs.50+50=Rs.100 in my account immediately.

                                        My name is Dipin ,Its hardly 10 day my sim got activated now i am facing a problem . My outgoing call are blocked from 5 days due to which i am not able to make any official nor personal calls its showing a message "select closed user group".and while checking down the balance it shows"Unbilled amt:rs.1309.04.last pymt rcvd:rs.245 .00.current pymt Due.rs.-245.pymt due date:nil.credit limit rs.1000.unbilled is excluding" for this I am not able to contact customer care also since my outgoing calls are blocked.

                                        Please sort out both the issue as soon as possible.
