Hi,

This is Ram,My mobile no.is [protected].Recently i done the Mobile portability from Vodafone to Idea.I am residing in Madipakkam in Chennai,In my residence there i no signal.I tried Customer care but unable to touch with customer care executive.Call getting disconnecting once connect.Now a days i am thinking i did mistake for change from my old provider to New provider.I lost lot of important calls specially from office.Kindly take necessary action.     On the Idea Cellular website it is written that Power Recharge Rs. 45 has benefits of 100 minutes local & STD with validity 20 days and talktime 0. The screenshot is attached.

    Seeing this, I had recharged with the above and after that I am not getting any free minutes at all and all my calls are being charged as per normal tariff. Now, I doubt it maybe either a wrong information on Idea website or maybe those 100 minutes are for ONLY Idea2Idea calls which they didn't write in the recharge description. They wrote "100 mins local & STD" which should be open for all local calls to any network not restricted to Idea on-net calls + STD. BUT this is not the case!

    Why misleading customers? That's my question! I want to be a good customer but does my service provider want to be a good mobile service provider? This kind of work ethics isn't expected on a Aditya Birla group official website.

      I took SPICE connection in 2006 Jan and was using till July-2011. I have been paying all the bills on time thru ECS. I have to terminate the connection in the month Jul-2011 as I am moving out of the country. I payed all the dues, offlate am still seeing the ECS submitting to my account. Rs 400 was debited in the month of Aug', Rs171 in Sep'11 and Rs 400 in Nov'11. I called multiple times the customer care they told me that are not able to locate the number as its invalid. Then i called up some other number they gave this also did not worked. They asked me to send an email to customer care which i did twice but no response. Kindly help me or guide me how to close this issue. I need my money back which they have debited.

      From last 3years i am using [protected] this number.I have received a call from [protected] to activate postpaid connection.At that time they told the offer as 1200 minutes u have free calls and 3000 message free per month.while calling/messaging from my mobile it will not shows the charges.I will asked regarding that with customer care they told for your each message it will charged 50 Pisa.while asking wt they told about the offer they told you have to activate the package and after words only you will get that offer.but my question is why can i activate the package and no one is previously informed not me.and while asking i am not get the satisfied answer from them and they told who is gave the connection to them only to contact.as per their instruction i am contact with them his number is [protected] he told to contact who called to activate postpaid connection them only you will to ask.As per his instruction i will called to [protected] .She is told that at the time of address confirmation they have told to activate the package but he is not informed to me.after words i will cal him his mobile number [protected].He told after 10 minutes i will get the details and i will cal you back.but after 10 minutes he is also not cal me back and he is not picking the call also.after that i will cal to [protected] at that time she will give her senior number as per her instruction i will called [protected].but he will also told after 10 minutes i will get the details and i will cal you back.but after 10 minutes he is also not cal me back and he is not picking the call also.After some time i will cal him some other number at that time he told at previously you have to ask correct details but already i will asked particularly about the messages and they told you have 3000 messages free per month.After getting the post paid connectionn they told to activate the package what can i do Please help me and give the instruction what can i do.without calling or mess aging more than their offer what they told the offer If the bill crosses more than their limited offer what can i do.Or can i possible to change my connectionn to prepaid today itself.

        i recharged with RS.90 flexi recharge ,instead of receiving the balance i cannot make the calls from that balance amount at all and frm my normal balance Rs.30 is getting deducted for bludy offers which i didnot activated at all and if i trying for customer care ,they are not at all giving any respose and if at all getting connected they are saying that server is down and they are not ready even to take complaint.idea services is worst services.which i have ever seen(saradhi-[protected])

        Idea — horrible service

        i tried recharging my phone using the online recharge scheme on 29th sep 2009 ,the money for the recharge was deducted from my account on 29th itself but my phone wasn't recharged.The sim belongs to haryana and i tried recharging in b'lore.
        I called the idea karnataka customercare ,they were clueless what to do next and asked me to contact idea haryana customercare, they never picked up the phone ,infact i was even charged for the calls to a toll free number. Idea's service is horrible,there customercare is even more horrible, they are here to just cheat people.
        i was asked to fill the no. 36264128 in the the field marked code on the idea website for the transaction to proceed.
        Other than this,my phone no. sometimes changes for some amount of time and i start receiving some calls which were supposed be for the owner of that new no. Idea's service is really weird and horrible.

        Idea — horrible

        I have a co-op data card spoke to bhavesh/hemanshu horible experience horrible as my pen drive is so slow and they could not help and they jusy disconnect the call like we are fools and i am using a co-op card
        if i dont get a reply in 48 hours i will disconnect this service and will also suggest this to all my co workers as this is a co-op deal and you'll are horrid even on the blackberry and i want this himanshu to call as he just cut the call like we are some fools using ur data card i think u need to distinguish ur customers and there was a bhavesh as the co gives us this services to work frm home if this does not work then no use

But at this time of emergency, i am getting a message that they will not be operational for the next 24 hours from the point of the call made at around 15:30 pm.

              Sub: Porting not honored for my Cell No.[protected]

              I am Subramanya.S.G from Tumkur, Karnataka, one among the valued customers of Idea Cellular Ltd. With reference to the above subject, I do hereby would like to bring to your kind notice that, as per the TRAI regulations Amendment of Direction No. 116-9/2009-MN dated 10th February, 2010, issued under section 13, read with sub-clause (i), (iii) and (v) of clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India Act, 1997 (24 of 1997) read with regulation 5 and regulation 18 of the Telecommunication Mobile Number Portability Regulation, 2009 (8 of 2009)], we (customers’) can change their service provider whenever they require to, accordingly, on 20.07.2011 I requested the Idea team for the port No. which was IX427984. With which I approached one of the Airtel retailer in Tumkur (Friends Electronic Services, S.S.Puram Main Road, TUMKUR). But few days after I got the news from the Airtel retailer that, the Idea Team has not honored my request & simply rejected without any reason. Again on 28.07.2011 I requested for the new port No (IX469484) with this new port number I approached the above said retailer once again for change of service provider to Airtel, but the Idea team again not considered my request seriously & rejected it.

              Yesterday i.e on 01.11.2011 once again I had taken the portal No. which is IX729495 and requested for the change of service provider. This time if you not honor my request then I will approach TRAI as well as the Consumer form with all the details & evidences both from my side as well as from Airtel.

              This is for your kind notice & needful action at the earliest.

              sir, i want change my mobile service provider from idea to airtel. i send requist for porting five times but idea denied my portin request idea says that due to wrong upc code. But i send right upc code i have all recoreds of sending request.

                1. I purchased an IDEA mobile Sim No [protected] on 24 Oct 2011.
                2. I had submitted all the requisite documents required along with the application on 24 Oct 2011.
                3. My mobile services were abruptly discontinued with effect from 31 Oct 2011 for want of the requisite documents which I have already submitted along with the application on 24 Oct 2011.
                4. There is no response from the IDEA CUSTOMER CARE.
                5. Finally upon getting through to the IDEA CUSTOMER CARE representative, I was confirmed that the requisite documents required along with the application have been received by the IDEA Office.
                6. However it would take at least two to three days more for processing my application and restoring my IDEA Mobile Services.
                7. I am being given reasons for all this confusion to utter chaos are varying from bewildering to bemusing to plain stupid.
                8. Reasons like:-
                (i) It was Diwali and so we have a backlog of work for the last few days.
                (ii) It is not our fault as we did not have staff during the previous few days.
                (iii) The documents could not be processed as you purchased the IDEA mobile Sim No [protected] on 24 Oct 2011, just two days before Diwali.
                9. I don't know who is going to be taking any action on this mail, but if you are someone who can do something about the whole issue, I would be grateful.
                10. An extremely dissatisfied and upset customer who always believed that IDEA Mobile Services were better than this.

                    To I/C Idea cellular Ltd, I had taken this postpaid connection on 9 sep 2011, you had not provided me my first bill on my repeated request on ur kanpur center, services debarred on 4/10/11,bill provided on 23/10/11 payment done online sameday,FROM 23/10/11 UR PEOPLE AT KANPUR ARE NOT RESPONDING ON UR NO'S [protected] AND[protected]. Ihad paid by cheque Rs1250 on7/9/11 and 967 online on 23/10/11.I'M TOO MUCH HARESSED BY YOUR SERVICES, now I don't want ur connection ,refund my whole money paid to you ,otherwise i will go to consumer court and TRAI for your malpractice. dated30/10/11 Dr Sanjay Gupta
                    In future try to avoid post-paid service from private company. I know cases where these companies, even after repeated request for termination of service, simply don't withdraw service and continue to bill. When customer refuses to pay they resort to illegal means for recovering the bill through collection agents. I simply wonder as to why Goverment is not doing anything against this practice which is nothing but a crime. You should visit various complaint sites and try to figure out which company is having less problem/complaints before you decide a service provider for you. Always share your bitter experience with friends/colleagues and encourages them also to do so.

                      I have Used My Idea postpaid Corporate Connection [protected] from the last 1 Year. On 21 July 2014 i have submit my all demanded documents to Bhatia Telecom, Railway Road, Khanna (Idea Franchise Showroom) for migration in prepaid connection. They gave me a prepaid sim and deposit security of Rs. 300 & tell me that your migration will be happened in 2-3 working days. After 2 months on 10 September 2014 they have terminated my postpaid connection and my prepaid sim not yet working till the date. Due to this happening I have suffered big businesses lose. Now i want that my prepaid sim will activate as soon as possible and the settlement claim for the misbehavior, ignorance, business lose due to idea cellular & Bhatia Telecom, Railway Road, Khanna (Idea Franchise Showroom).

                        today i have rechaged with 67 SMS monthly pack but unfortunately this pack is not get activated.
                        i have called with custmer care and they send some message and said revert back along with that message for activation.we have sent that but still not get activated.

                          I took idea "netsetter 699" plan on 07/08/2010 and paid Rs 500 as security deposit at that time which was refundable at the time of disconnecting/discontinuing the plan.I applied for the disconnection and got the same disconnected as on 07/01/11.After few months of disconnection i.e in july i got a call from idea asking my address so that they could send a cheque/DD of the security deposit amount in my name but till date they have not send any.From last 4 months i am continuosly calling the concerned person but no one is attending the call.kindly help.

                          You can go to the website and get a list of email ids and phone nos. of some of the highest authorities and send an email to all of them telling your issue. Also you can call some of them.
                          On a different note to handle these kind of situation it is better to pay the last bill less your security deposit as this would place the ball in their court :-)

                            I am raghavendra miskin i want to register a complaint againt idea network...... Yestarday i recharge rs 200 on online website of idea through topup and then my amount has been cutted in my bank account and the recharge has not been done. I called customer care two time but no propare response from their side and blady this idea network people are telling me not to recharge form idea website then why they option of recharging in their website to eat money...... And they are telling me it will take 7 days to refund the money which is disgusting to take money in secs and to refund money 7 days....... I want to know the procedure how file a case in consumer court........ I will see one day if it is not refunded then i will file a case against idea network....... Which is a worst network i will not sugest any body to take idea number..........my number is [protected]

                              I request to state Authority to be cooperate and take a necessary action against it.

                                i am gopal rathod from junagadh my cell number is [protected] (idea) i have recharged my account with 39 rs 22th september 2011 for idea to idea 10 paisa per minute. then i have called on customercare to deactivate my services as soon as possible a representative told me that type message "STOPLOCALRC39" to 4444 i already sent this message many times on 18th october 2011. but on the 22th october my balance was deduct then i call again on customer care but they answered me so ridiculously and rudely that we haven't received your request yet and this service which you talking about it will be continued till the end of the expiry date of a card.

                                so what should i do now. money doesnt matter but the way their representative talking its looks like so poor quality they have also idea is not a good service provider like in my case. idea has to told me first that this plan is for life time.

                                please deactivate my plan and refund my money back as soon as possibler

                                  the main problem i am facing with idea card is with the GPRS(3G) service, always it shows more usage then what i am using actually, always i use to contact on 4999, but i am not satisfied with their answers, as if once i used 2.38 GB and to the customer side it shows around 3.5 GB. I have a application which shows me how much data i have used. I went to idea office also, their in 599 Rs. they r giving 2GB usage normally, and the customer executive tells me that your plan is of 599 Rs. with 1.2 GB only( why is it so), different answers i always get from different places. The executive tells me that you'll get 1.2+1.2=2.4 GB usage plan, but according to office where i went they offers me normally 2GB usage, so if i activate from there then i should get 4GB o[censored]sage. M fed up with this confusion also that how much data i should use. my mobile number is [protected].
                                  please send me a proper detail(as vodafone gives with all the calls and GPRS usage) bill on my email id [protected]@gmail.com
                                  please give your valuable attention to my issue.

                                    I am regularly receiving atleast 15-20 messages from TA-xxx , TD xxx, etc..
                                    Kindly arrange to stop these messages.

                                    I am very frusted and irreted by these sms.

                                    I have registered at DND long time before and also talked to customer care exective but still same problem existes.

                                    Please do the needfull .

                                    My complaint is that I receive SMS as ''Maaf Kijiye aapki hello tune abhi nahi lag rahi hai, kripaya pakka karne dobara call karen.Payen Shayari,jokes aur news call 54321732 FREE''

                                    Some times I receive this message 4 to 5 times a day and sometimes at very odd hours like midnight and early morning.It is very disturbing and causes unnecessary problems by distracting concentration.

                                    I called at the call centre and the replied that it will take at least 45 days to deactivate such service.
                                    When i pleaded that 45 days is quite a long time and why should i suffer their useless sms.
                                    I would have changed the company but as my number is spread out I can't do this.

                                    Please Help.

                                      I have changed the network from Airtel to Idea through Agency of Idea GV communication Vikaspuri.

                                      Number activated in Idea but after 3 days Number closed.

                                      I have contacted G.v. communication , outer Ring road vikaspuri several times but no response from there side.

                                      I am in big trouble due to suspension of this number.

                                      Agency of Idea like G.V.communication, Vikaspuri are chaeating customer in many ways.

                                        I have post paid Idea mobile connection([protected]) from last 2 years, Before travelling to USA I have converted my Idea number to prepaid and load amount Rs3000. After Reaching USA my Idea number stop working. I tried to contact Idea customer care by phone and mail but every time they informed me they are looking into this. When Today (19th Oct 2011) I called them again, they told me that Idea does have network in USA, so they cannot do anything. I am surprised to know after one month they are saying there is no network coverage in USA, and before leaving india they only told me that they have full coverage in USA and asked me to convert my post paid into prepaid connection.
                                        they even provide me the call rates for USA. If you see mail below (received from customer desk) it doesn't indicate that idea does not work in USA.

                                        Please help me in getting proper justice or advice me how can I log complaint in consumer forum against this fraud.
