A/c no 8.10081163 .We have corporate account with Idea .On 3.10.2011 morning all the users received the message stating crossing the credit limit of entire group( Rs 25000/-).
We had never given our concent to such a low credit limit.
The message was recd at 8.18am and all the nos were disconnected in next 10 minites time .
We were shocked when the no got disconnected while the due date was 8.10.2011(5 days further )

We had never paid our corporate bill beyond due date .
The payment of current bill was paid immediately to nearest Idea gallery at 1 pm on 3.10.2011.

The mobiles were restored at 3.30 pm on same day ( were disconnected at 8 am ) and again on 4.10.2011the nos got disconnected.

WHY A COMPANY HAVING CORPORATE ACCOUNT IS TREATED LIKE THIS .
We have had a lot of inconvenience in mmunicating with our people .Why should we tolerate such a bad treatment .

    I had put my phone in safe custody and my complaint number with Idea Cellular is[protected]. Problem are as follows.

    1. I had kept my phone in safe custody, however it was abruptly removed. So i term it as breach of security, and when i am asking for an explanation they are sending irrelevant replies to my question's to confuse and buy time and to let go the matter.

    2. There was excess amount charged due to the same, and when i asked them , the same has been reversed, but according to me that is fraud and they were trying to overcharge money by knowing the fact that it was wrong, hence amounts to cheating/ stealing.

    3. When i am asking for an explanation and apology, it was again not answered with specific and no opology provided unless i followed up multiple times, so according to me this is unprofessional behaviour from Idea cellular.

    4. I have sent mails and letter to senior Appellate Authority and they keep asking me to talk to each other in India, which means individual at the highest level in Idea, lack credibility and are only passing the buck.

    5. On asking questions to the team, i am been threatened by Idea that my phone will be disconnected.

    I would like to understand what actions can be taken against them to sort this and get me an appropriate compensation.

    I am having similar painful experience with Idea .

    On 23 July, I on advise of customer care executive activated Rs 05 plan which she told me is having following features :-

    - 50 mb 2g data.
    - 24 hrs connectivity.
    - Automatic renewal after 24 hrs.
    - Process to activate.
    I downloaded approx 35 mb data till late night and afterward deactivated the service using *800*222# switch and closed my packet data connection.

    On 24 July at 0422 hrs I received sms from IDEA that Rs 241 have been deducted from my main account for browsing 11.2 mb data.

    I called customer care executive 4 times, I received 4 different reasons each times which are :-

    . The deduction is due to some phone calls I had made.
    - The deduction is due to downloading as data plan covers only browsing not downloading.
    - The deduction is due to termination of data plan after 1200 pm.
    - The deduction is due to 3g data usages as 2 g data pack cant be utilized in a 3 g connection.

    I reported the matter to Idea and I receive following reply:-
    I downloaded first from my 2g pack and afterwards I activated my 3g zero balance pack. Which is a point black lie and they are covering their tracks.

    The latest cover-up . Idea guys come up with two new cock & bull versions _

    1. Deduction is because data used on roaming in Chattisgarh, (never possible since i never leave my place for 4 kms or more whereas Chattisgarh is 400 kms far.
    2. Deduction is because I crossed 50 mb limit . False as I calculated my download never cross 30 mb leave alone 50 mb.

    This speaks of the status of company which is operating like Gangs of Wasepur. They are cheaters and thugs; in my experience one should go with BSNL of Airtel as they are big companies and has some business ethics.

      I am an idea network customer from last many months . mobile number [protected].....but for last 1 mth idea service have become worse. i have to face many problems there have been activation of services without my intimation. such as 1) dialer tone 2) cricket alerts 3) miscal alerts my balanced gets deducted every other day bcoz of activation of such services which i dnt require. wtf is this i have to suffer every time its becoming waste of my money to recharge and then lose my balance coz of such services. when i call customer care exectuive the only response i get is "madam aapne he activate karvaya tha ismay hum kuch nahe kar sakte" when i cal immediately after the activation of service to deactivate they say "agar aapne pehle cal kiya hota toh bal refund mil jata "i just want to stop all the calls and messages that i receive every time for such service.
      plz do the need ful else i have to do MNP

      I am a idea user from a long time.. My No. [protected]. I am having many problems with idea As if from 2 months the service of idea is been getting worse. They are activating the services without giving me any Intimations. 1) Miss Call Alerts. 2) dialer tones 3) cricket alerts ... i mean what pathetic is this.. i am not an to pay fotr this evrytime... what an is this. every time for no use my balance gets deducted .. without gvn any intimations.. and when i called to cst care exeutive every time i get the ans is "apne hi activate karwaya hai" n "isme hum kuich nahi kar sakte" i mean m nt a fool to bear sch the money evrytime... from now i dont want any kind of call or mesages to activate the service again n again.. if il get any kind of mesage or call again .. I'll strait away do MNP,,
      I hope that I'll get a favorable reponse from your end.. and needs to rectify the complaint as soon as posible..
      this is the third time my balance got deducted.one gprs msg come in every alternative day taht gprs request for 3 days is activated.but i have never requested for this facility.twice my balance refunded.but the time i am getting the balance and in next 3 or 4 hrs later the same amount is deducted.i am really fedup with this, kindly look into the matter.mr saurav kumar the senior representive asked me that he will look into the matter, but he didnt do anything yet, my balance is yet not credited.my number is register in DND, but still i have problem.last my recharge was rs 65.and till now i have not made any recharge because i know the time i will recharge my balance wil deduct.its a humble request please look into the matter

        I, Tushar Kanti De one of IDEA prepaid customer with Mobile
        No.[protected] facing some problem regarding activation of dialer tune
        and songs. On[protected] at 11:15AM I received two messages from
        IW-IDEACL these were i) “Your free Song will be renewed in next 3
        Days, you will be charged Rs 15/90 Days post that. To deactivate dial
        155223” and ii) “Your Dialer tone will be Auto renewed @ Rs 30/30 days
        in next 3 Days, To deactivate the same Pls dial 155223(Toll Free)”.
        After this on[protected] near about 7:30am I call on 155223 and follow
        the voice instructions to deactivate my dialer tone and next to this I
        got a SMS from IZ-IdeaCare at 07:22 AM that was ”Dear Subscriber, your
        request for deactivation of Dialer Tone has been received, a unique
        communication ID of registration of your request would be sent to you
        shortly”. But after this I did not get any message and also deducted
        Rs.45.00 from my mobile A/C balance. Why RS.45 deducted from my a/c
        balance without my consent and also why the auto renewal of any
        service is forcefully activated on my mobile no.?
        Please do the needful to refund Rs.45 on my mobile a/c.

          My Idea netsetter is not working properly since i I purchased it on 12 apr. 2011. I contacted the customer care center many times. Each time I have done what thy told me. But no use. I have got enough net work strength ( at least 19% to 25%). I have recharged the net setter in time And not exceeded the usage limit of 500 mb/month. Some time it gets connected and soon gets dis connected. Till today I was not able to browse properly.

          i am using the idea net setter. its not working at all. i am facing a trouble in that.
          I got a net setter in pune but when i got shifted in gujarat it started showing lack of network and stopped working and idea guys are just wasting my time.craps.my no is [protected]
          my idea net setter is not working properly. it is stop working in between. so i m facing problem. plz take sum action.
          i know idea gives low speed but thats ok for me.. but the thing is if i start downloading a file of many MBs.. and if dont use my laptop for 1 or more (not fixed) my idea net setter automatically gets disconnected and downloading stops. it just not happened 1 or 2 times it happened n no. of times. so is there any solution.. i use kaspersky antivirus 2010.. is it because of this?? plz anyone help me out..

          Idea Netsetter — not working properly

          my idea netsetter disconnects after evry 30 mins.it shows no signal.i have to restart it.i had tried evry means.i even mailed to customer care.but no proper suggestion,response and solution till now..i m facing it frm last 1 month. this is the docket no.of complaint..1-[protected]
          I am using Idea netsetter since 12/4/2011. Till today I was not able to browse internet properly. Either it is very slow or brake in the internet connection even if there is net work coverage and signal strength. I complained to the custamer care center so many times, followed their instruction; but no use. I have re-charged it time and not exceeded the data usage limit.

            Hi,
            I had activated International roaming on my Idea No. - [protected] in June 2008 and paid the necessary amount of INR 3000/- for activation.

            However, everytime after that when I go out of the country, international roaming never works on my Idea number inspite of requests to Customer care to activate the same.

            I find the Customer care and Base locations of Idea showrooms in vasant Kunj, New Delhi and Sec-26 Noida to be most incompetent as they cannot understand or resolve my complaints even after multiple visits to them with the necessary documents.

                  I, Mohammed Thottiyil, a subscriber of Idea postpaid connection, mobile no [protected], wishes to bring to your attention the fact that Mobile TV facility has been activated for the postpaid connection in my name from June 2011. I wish to state that it has been activated without my consent and that I have not asked anyone or done anything like sending SMS to activate the mobile TV facility for the mobile phone connection in my name. I had contacted the Idea call centre and had spoke to the executive many times requesting deactivation of the mobile TV facility, but no action has been taken in this regard till date.

                  I do not want to subscribe to this facility and request that the mobile TV facility activated in my mobile connection be deactivated and also Rs 600 (150*4) which have be added to my postpaid bill and which I have paid for the facility from the month of June 2011 be reimbursed to me.

                  Therefore, it is requested that necessary steps be taken to deactivate the mobile TV facility activated in my postpaid mobile connection (no [protected]) and the amount, which I have paid for this facility be reimbursed to me at the earliest.

                    I am anuj sharma using idea prepaid number. on 29th september 2011 i recharged my idea prepaid account online of 350 rs but till today i did not get any balance in my cell.my bank account has been debited with 350.i called on 198 from my number but i was told to wait.recharge process was i visit on ideacellular.com and there was an option to recharge.i click on that and fill the amt of recharge and then i recd a code then i fill that code and then complete online bank transaction.here is given all detail of mine........

                      Suddenly I receive SMS from IA-IDEACL saying "thank you for renewing SMS NEWS Pack. Your service is renewed at Rs.30 for 30 days. To deactivate dial 155223 (toll free) or ....." I usually get surprised and try to deactivate by dialing 155223. No use. It happens and I am getting News alerts continuously. On 28.9./2011, similar thing happened. Same day I got my mobile re-charged with Rs.50/=, but surprisingly within a span of 6 calls I made, all my balance was exhausted. I again tried to deactivate same day.
                      Then I got a message from IZ-IdeaCare saying that request for deactivation...received, a unique communication ID would be sent shortly. Further that no response. I am getting news alerts continously, even my recharge of Rs.25/= on 29.9.2011 was fully exhausted by these mischievious service provider.
                      When I warned of complaint to TRAI (to 3892 the confirmation point of balance), there flashed a message from 3891 that "you are not authorised to use this service". I want my this complaint to reach TRAI authorities. Pls help. My pre-paid mobile number is [protected] (idea).

                      Distributor : Devi Enterprises, Shop No.09, Sector 5, Mahavir Plaza,
                      Kalamboli, Navi Mumbai.

                      I have been retailer from last few years. I am keeping topup vouchers and demo for recharging to the customers.
                      I had asked the salesman to recharge Rs.1, 000 to my above demo mobile on 10/01/2012 in morning. He replied that I had no balance at present, when the balance receives he will transfer the amount to my mobile. In evening at 1620 pm I received Rs.500/- vide transaction No. DEVIE/1201/1014900 showing balance Rs.530.82 showing to pay Rs.487.50 to salesman. I immediately contacted the salesman saying that I had received only Rs.500 instead of Rs.1000. Later on I received balance of Rs.500 showing balance of Rs.1030.82 vide ID DEVIE/1201/1014351 at 1621 of 10/1/2012.
                      After few transactions I came to note surprise that the amount deducting from Rs.500/- instead of Rs.1000/-. I had shown all the transaction to the salesman next day ie. on 11/1/2012. He said he had passed on message to dealer to deposit the amount in my demo mobile. It is dealer’s problem. I requested him to find out transactions and get the print out from office. He promised to do so. But later on frequency of his visit to my shop reduced to once in a week. I again enquired about the missing Rs.500/-. This is the third time of such situation from December 2011.
                      The salesman still avoiding to visit my shop. I could not recharge balance in my demo mobile. I had stopped the transaction from mobile and keeping only topup vouchers.
                      I request your goodness to look into matter and rectify the problem. If possible if I can get refund of missing amount I will be very thankful to you.

                            I have an IDEA sim bearing No [protected]. One week ago I had charged Rs 65 towards my balance. After 3 day I received a call from idea company person. He was tring to convince for providing a free STD call for which Rs 31 will be charged. Inspite of my refusing he had activated the same and deducted Rs 31 form my balance. I had approached through 198 but no solution to this effect is made. The person on line talked to me was Mr Prasanta Tiwari (as he derived) who had shown his inability to help me out.

                            Lastly I am bound to produce it through this channel.If my case is found genuine my please be verified and subsquently ammended.

                            I will be waiting for Ur action and intimation. I will reply positively on this issue.

                              Hello,

                              I activated my Blackberry BIS plan 399 on 11th September 2011 on my Goa/Maharashtra circle prepaid number [protected], however the plan automatically got deactivated on the 18th September 2011. I called the customer server 10-12 times, on 22nd September on of the idea representative stated that the plan will be activated in 24 hours as they have forwarded the request to the back hand team. After 24 hours I called the customer care again and again the representative stated that they are still waiting for the reply from the back hand team and it will take 24 hours. When I called on Saturday the representative was very rude and disconnected the call.
                              On 26th i called the helpdesk again and spoke to the floor supervisor Sandeep Gohil or Govil from the GPRS department, He stated that he will activate the BIS 399 plan by call of business and also will extend the days from which the plan was deactivated. Today 28th September 2011, I called the Helpdesk again and the representative was not ready to transfer the call to his supervisor and still there’s not resolution.

                              Can you please look in to this since no one is ready to provide any resolution!!!

                                My mobile no.is [protected]. From last 07-8 days, Rs. 5 is deducted everyday from my account automatically. I had talked to customer care representative 04-05 times but no solution is found. Some times they says that they are unable to sort out this or they mentioned that your deduction will be stopped within 12 hrs. But still no action taken in the matter. They are saying that Idea fresh or Idea power service is activated and we will deactivate it,but nothing done till today. I am totally frustrated by this and have to change my service provider if problem continues.
                                Kindly look into the matter and sort out the issue and arrange to reimburse my deductions.

                                  My name is Taher Shaikh,im from Pune.I'm a victim of poor customer service.Basically i'm associated with companies wherein i receive Sms's for offers and information,recently it came to my notice that my number has been added in DND list and i wont receive any messages from those company,because 'Idea' has added my number in DND list.I'm astounded to know this, without having my approval they added my number.I spoke to one of the agent who was completely unhelpfull in terms of knowledge about the query i had,his name was 'Jabbar'.Then i requested him to transfer the call to the supervisor,his name was 'Pradeep' hoping of getting a resolution to my query,but again he was rude and appalling in the conversation we had.I asked him which department he is working in,he refused to give me any information.Simple Idea for you people learn some manners,we are your customers,it was a simple query.Im disappointed with the service.

                                  i am idea user...few moths back i have changed from postpaid to prepaid on the same telephone nummber i had a very bad exprience with kind of customer service i have been provided. I can rather say it's a pathetic service i ever had from any Cellular service provider. I have called to make an enquiry on my last bill, the person whom i spoke to place my call on hold for a very long time and after then i was connected to some other Customer service advisor. I don't understand why these people are hired if they can't do there job properly and deliver customer service to a customer. In your promtion there are so much good about the service but in real life it's the bad side of the service. After calling three times to get my simple issue resolved but still no one is able to rectify the reason. After all this hassels i am thinking to move my services to some other service provider but unfortunately number portability still not launched. The service offered by IDEA CELLULAR Services is dibolical,rubbish and i will storngly recommend by friends and family NOT TO USE IDEA IT WON"T CHANGE YOUR LIFE BUT IT WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE FOR SURE.

                                  I had called a few times for DND service to be activated on my phone. I get about 20 calls in a day and 10 SMS. After trying that send message to a toll free number a few times, and it didn't work I kept calling the customer service and got the same response. They even started charging for the call to Customer Care, which I think is completely idiotic. So finally I asked to speak to a spuervisor and requested him that at least the calls that I get from Idea Cellular .. which are internal should be blocked. I had the same problem with Vodafone before and they did it. They stopped my internal calls in one day. so my point is if they could do it why couldn't Idea Cellular do it too. I had a long discussion with the supervisor and all I got from him was I understand and I'm sorry for the inconveienece. He did not do anything to help me or what we call a "CUSTOMER SERVICE" .. According to me, you are just wasting your money on making these sit there on the phone for 10 hours a day and on the trainers who can not train them on how to handle the custoers and quality who can not make them understand a good quality customer experience and managers who fail miserably to manage the show. You should have a "GOOD WORKING IVR" custom designed for every scenario. That would be more cost effective and efficient because I don't see these imbecile representatives doing a good job at all, rather they provide you with a 3rd quality Customer Service Experience. If there's a simple question or a query, anybody can handle it. The question is when you have to go out of your way and provide a good customer experience, what do you do then. I am highly disappointed in the level of customer service Idea Cellular provides. I wish it was better but its not. my phone number is[protected]. I don't have GPRS or MMS on my phone which I gave up long back after at least 20 calls and now I'm giving up on promotional calls and text from Idea which I DO NOT need. and soon I will be giving up on Idea Cellular too and move to Airtel as they have a better plan. I just don't want to change my number so I'm waiting for TRAI decision to be activated and I could change my service provider without changing my number.

                                  Hi Idea Customers,

                                  I would like you to know idea is the only sick company with no right solutions for the problems they have created. My phone cannot have internet connectivity just because Idea does not know the solution. I have spent hours speaking to the customer care which connects only after 40 minutes (I also had to bear the lady praising Idea for they are in villages and small towns). The Idea store in the city is too busy to handle customers. They promptly say "No this cannot be done". I repent for choosing Idea over Airtel and Vodafone. You might have had a pleasant experience but trust me they are gonna get you sometime.

                                  IDEA CELLUAR REFUSES TO GIVE SOLUTIONS.
                                  Yes, I agree with Bhoomi, Idea has got the worst team who are least bothered with the complaints.I have seen them deduct the balance and subscribe people without their knowledge and start hogging the money.
                                  Music has been my passion as I have played various instruments such as the synthesizer, har monium, guitar and the piano since childhood. During my formative years I had served as a keyboard player and an arranger in bands such as "Roots", with childhood friend and percussionist Sivamani, John Anthony, Suresh Peters, JoJo and Raja. I later played in the orchestra of M. S. Viswanathan Ramesh Naidu and Raj Koti, accompanied Zakir Hussain, Kunnakudi Vaidyanathan and L. Shankar on world tours and also graduated with a degree in Western classical music. The Indian cinema has been great to work with where I composed music for for various films like Roja, Lagaan, Ghajini, Kannathil Muthamittal and specially Slumdog Millionaire which has brought international acclaim to the Indian music industry which made us grab Academy, Golden Globe, BAFTA and the Grammy Awards for best music compilations. I’m grateful to all my fans who have supported me throughout and relished my music through the ages, it has been a wonderful experience for me to be featured in the New ‘ Mile Sur’ . I shall continue my quest for good music in all my future endeavours and bring laurels to my country. Jai Ho!!
                                  I am post paid life time customer with mobile [protected] and [protected]. I stay overseas much of the time, first they bothered me with all stupid nonsense ad, sms and they charge me International roaming charges for hearing the . When I switched off to avoid this instead of temporarly suspend, each time when you call customer care from overseas it reaches "prepaid cell " and they cannot do any thing. Its always hassle get connected.

                                  This is year they have gone worst, they complety discconnected my both phones and also allotted my numbers to others. When I challeged how can they cancel a post paid customer without even an inimation or warning. The answer is they have sent an SMS and since Iam no long connected I cannot see it.....!!!.

                                  Since 11th July they are still has not given me any positive response. Can any one suggest other celllar whose customer care is better (I guess any one would be better than Idea)

                                  Dear Authorities,

                                  1. I am an Army Officer posted in College of Military Engg, Pune. I am writing this mail to bring to your notice a case of Customer Grievance against IDEA. I have recently taken an Idea Prepaid connection & activated it on 28 Dec 2013. I also activated 3G plan on my connection, however in spite of getting a confirmation message of activation of 3G, it still hasn’t started on my mobile. Also, since today morning “Whatsapp” application has stopped working – it was working fine on the new number yesterday.

                                  2. I contacted Idea customer care a number of times on 12345, however in spite of repeated calls, they have not been able to help me. Either I was kept on hold for a long time, wherein I was promised that the case will be resolved by Idea, or I was being transferred from one section to the other. However, nobody was able to help me. Few Idea representatives were so rude & ill-mannered that they cut my call without helping. I spoke to number of Senior Executives & Team Leaders like Naresh Sonawane, Paras, Kavita & Anil Dhande, however nobody has been able to help me till now.

                                  3. I am still not able to access my “Whatsapp” application – everytime I try to verify my new Idea number, it gives out the error message – “Your Number +91 [protected] is not allowed to use our service”. Also, my 3G plan money has been deducted from my account, but it started working after few days only. And today IDEA has deducted Rs 249/- from my account for annual dialer tone service, when I didn’t ask for it.

                                  4. It’s very sad to see that a reputed telecom company like Idea doesn’t have the staff who knows basic Customer Care. I am sending mails to Idea Nodal Officers, Customer Care & even Apellette Officers, and its horrifying to see that there has been absolutely NO RESPONSE from even them. I was using Vodafone connection before switching over to Idea, thinking that Idea has got best service in Maharashtra at least, but I am now thinking I made a mistake, and switch back to either Vodafone or Airtel.

                                  5. It is a humble request from my side, that someone answer this email, and do the needful. At least there must be somebody who can take action and solve my grievance. Also, if I don’t get a response from Idea side, I may have to take up this case in media and put it in Newspapers, so that everyone comes to know the kind of Customer Service provided by Idea.

                                    sir i had an idea simcard no [protected].i am using this number from 2008 feb .till 2011 july 15th.it has life time validity.and talktime more than 80 rs .in july 2011 my simcard was blocked.i went to idea show room and asked to give puk number.they said that to take a dupilicate simcard. i agreed to take and asked them to issue a dupilicate simcard.they said that they didnt have sims.so i went to the Big'c' showroom casual and i asked them that they can find puk number .they tried and got the puk number .i thanked them .after this i lost my simcard and unespectedly i went to banglore for a immidiate work .mean while i have taken a bsnl sim card to use at bangalore.because the rajahmundry idea outlet showroom persons said that they didnt have sims.to issue duplicate simcards. one week back i went to show room .they didnt respond .today when i went to take dupilicate simcard they said that my sim is on hold .they said that they cannot issue the dupilicate.card.then i called to idea custmer care and they said that they cant do anything and taken my request and kept my phone on hold for an hour .i asked them to issue a postpaid sim with the number [protected]. they didnot responded and gave an adwise to go to legal procedings .sir please ask them to issue a dupilicate simcard with my number [protected].till now the sim has my proofs of identification.please do need ful towards me .thanking u .

                                      I have a bad experience in your Customer care.Saturday (31-mar-2012 at 7.50 PM), am calling two time to your care.My issue is my balance got detected around 42 rupees.I didn't get any confirmation. The first call was handled Mrs Remya, am not satisfied with his interaction.She is transfer the call to Senior level(Anoop) without any information.I have no words to explain Anoop.

                                        Pls look over my problem since i have been facing problems with IDEA services.
                                        You can see in your database that i have been interacted numerous times since 18 september 2011.
                                        i have been given several complain id number also.
                                        latest complain id i have is 1-[protected].
                                        this is complain regarding my blackberry services according to customer care executive(CCE) i should get my refund back of Rs 399 by 24 sep 2011 but still i have not been refund back.
                                        On talking with supervisor/manager assured me for refund but till now i have not been refunded nor my services are activated.
                                        I am very sorry to tell that behavior and attitude towards me from idea is hopeless and disrespectful.
                                        Your CCE disconnect my calls or give me lame answers whatever come to there mind without understanding my problem.
                                        I just want Higher Authorities to check my log how much time i have called to 12345 and idea blackberry service no. still my problem not been solved.
