hi my name is Rajini Agarwal, my running no. is [protected], i also got a call from [protected], the person on the other side offered me 25 lakhs as a prize money in an idea lucky draw n wanted to meet me with a cash of 10000, he called me near the state bank of my city but i didn't went, he also warned me not to use this no. any more, n took my account no. also.
so i here by informed u about the incident to deal with any further mess.

    im using the Spice Mobile No.[protected] (parent) and [protected] (add on) from many years, but as same was merged with idea, since that time im facing problem of different types regularly but main biggest problem is with idea is numbered 1 below:
    1. Despite of submitting my verificiation and other required documents with idea a regular calls and messages received from idea after 3-4 months that my documents are not proper and submit again else my services get barred and same was done on my add on number today. i wanna complaint that idea employees are in showroom are illiterate that after checking documents by them documents are submitted and again and again why idea is demanding as the same documents which are already deposited with idea several times. May be idea is harassing me after merging becz of the reason i have a life time free both connections which have clip charges of Rs.35/- only per month. As i received several calls from idea after merging to have a better changed plan which i refuses. I am using idea services with a clip charges of Rs.35 per month and it is disappointing idea that's why again & again these documents demanded. As idea customer care officer or showroom person won't be able to tell me what is problem in my documents already submitted with idea several times.
    2. Any of my spice nos is not updated in idea nos list whenever registering for idea nos it shows invalid no.
    3. Idea services of GPRS is not working in my home region Jalandhar while it is working in other cities.

    Pls help me out sir/madam as im harassed while depositing the same documents again & again if they have any problem they can contact me a t my office my home anywhere and verify whatever they or anybody wants to verify im available they are dealing with me like as im any criminal who has to come to Police station each and every month with his documents.

        Idea Cellular Ltd — registration failed

        Sir/Madam

        I am Shiju Baby ,I have been using the idea prepaid connection since last three and half years,now it seens registeration failled, now I am in Saudi, as per the conversation by the care offier ,he said that if validity and cash balance above 75 INR ,thre is no problem facing,my sim having cash balance more than 90 Rs and having validity seens upto november 2011,I could not get the roaming connectivity,now it seens registeration failled,I cannot under stand the thing,I am not satisfied, I want a solution,I want to re open the service,i am weighting for the required solution immediately,i dont like to cut the service so please start the service, I want a solution by mail.

          this is a post paid number and oh god .....it is torturing me a lot with a heavy bill for a small usage.
          friends this is very very important that never opt to idea again.

          actually the main problem is that the executives sitting there were NOT HAVING ANY IDEA about the plans and etc.,
          without knowing basics and without informing us any thing they just blindly activate whatever we asks,for example i am now in a champion 299 plan which offers me 400 local free sms every month.i thought to get more and asked to add me 26 rs extra top up which i thought will add me 300 extra sms to the existing 400.but to my surprise after recieving bill i just used 430sms and im charged extra amount for that..astonished with this i asked the executive about that.then revealed a gr8 thing that after adding the top up the original 400 will be gone.
          now say friends...is it not there responsibility to tell that things?
          who will add 300 sms by paying 26 rs extra losing 400 free sms?

          that fool in vijayawada idea office is saying that she informed me that....hmm then think,knowingly who will lose 400 free and add 300 by paying extra 26rs?

          in the same way in data plan i have been charged 500RS extra just due to negligence of their cusomercare executives.....
          oh god so i decided to change my network .....i expect refund of my amount which i lost or else i jst think that idea is a great cheater and i gave it a small amount as i give to beggars....

            I work for company called idea cellular ltd, i am been mentally harassed by my managers to put down my papers. I work on roles of this company and have been completed my confirmation & good appraisal process 2 months back, i personally do not want to leave now, i have still not spoken to Hr team as i feel that they would only go on the words come from the top hierarchy, can you guide me in this situation what is the procedure to log a complaint.

            Idea Cellular Ltd. — Mental Harrasment

            Dear Sir,

            With due respect, I want to state that, I was idea postpaid cellular customer mob no: [protected]. On 21st of Aug, they disconnected the outgoing service without prior information (No Bill, No SMS, No Call) while my wife was travelling and the very next day, there was a girl called “Bhavya” from idea, called me up from cell no [protected] and asked for the payment. I said, how can you disconnect cell services like this, so I am not going to make a payment without giving a satisfactory reply. Then she took the relative numbers from database and started calling to them and talk like, “who is mahendra..he is fraud..bla bla bla..”, which made me mentally disturbed after receiving calls from my relative. As such, using customer’s database and calling the relatives numbers are illegal and she has misused the LAW just for the sake of payment of nearly Rs.1850/= .

            I complained about the same with some IDEA officers and they accepted that its their fault and they assured me that they will take some action and update me accordingly but I didn’t get any such call.

            After few days (nearly one week), again Bhawya called up to my mother-in-law and misbehaved with her.
            On 22nd of Sept, I got a call from landline number and he introduced me as a police officer and calling regarding payment. He said that you have to come court tomorrow for a legal action against non-payment of idea bill. He also gave me a no:[protected] (S K RANA) and talk to him to make settlement.
            I immediately called up to Mr.Rana and he told me that i[censored] don’t make a payment today by 4 pm then toorrow, you have to come to Court to make a payment of nearly Rs.48, 000. As, I was unaware of legal proceedings, I made the payment immediately as Mr. Rana assured me that, within 2 hrs after making the payment, Bhawya will call all my relatives for asking apology regarding the calls which was made by her earlier, which made a bad impression in fronts of my relatives.
            Till now, no action has been taken up. I made more than 100 calls to Mr. Rana but he never responded properly. Most of the time, he didn’t received a call or some one else received and give false information. Till now he didn’t make even a single call to me, which make me really frustrated and mentally harassed.

            Please look into the matter and do the needful, so that in future, no customer should be miss guided by such people and not be in a situation like me. I expect, a thorough investigation in this matter. I hope, that you will take necessary action to book the culprit within the purview of the LAW of land.

            MENTALLY HARRASEMENT

            Dear Sir/ Ma'am,

            This is regarding my late payment for idea connection which I am using for more than 2 years. I understand and I know that you are not the concerened person for this, but I am sure that you will help me out. My name is Azmi Firoz and I am residing in east delhi. From last few months I was passing through a bad time with my family and job as well. As I am now working in a good company. My issue is that from last one week a third party from idea side is troubling my family and me. As I asked them to give me three days still I recieved a call from court which states that I have to do the payments by tommorow unless you have to face the circumstances. as well as your third party still buzzing my friends and my relatives and asking them for my number which I have already told the operater. Yesterday your third party threaten my family saying that if i didnt pay the bill, they will take some stuff from my place. Now you tell me this is the way yo understand my situation? I didnt told them that I will not make the payments still they are on with their threats. You can also see my previous bills which were 10k, 5k, 3k, but i always made the payments on time. Can you please forward me the concerned person's number so that I can have a word with him please. Please dont ignore this mail. My family cant take it anymore so please help me. and Its a limit of something that your guys have crossed. They have called on my relatives number and told them tha I am fraud and burggler. Please insure that I AZMI Firoz will not make the payments as I was calm to every of your caller. But now you have crossed the limits. I am recieving calls from my relatives stating that they are recieving the threat calls from your side. I have the numbers and I am sending you the numbers also I have the records of the calls.

            You can see my previous records earlier that I have made the payments whatever it is. But This time your people have crossed the limits. Due to which my mom and dad who came from Saudi Arabia getting so tensed coz of this reason. These guys have made this thing such a big issue that all of my relatives are pointing finger on my character. I am not a FRAUD, I am not a THEIF iam not BURGLER. Just see what kind of language you guys have spoken to my sister, my aunt, my cusins... I will make the payments but for sure i will change the network after this. Including five five numbers of my cusins. I am so upset with the service. I am really upset. Thank you so much. But I will not leave those guys who abused my sister, my bother and other relatives about me as i have the recording of the conversation. I will not let them go. As I have already made the complaint of these numbers in the police and I want you guys to take some action on this. I will not let them go so easily.

            Idea Cellular — harrasment of disconnection of outgoing

            this is with a deep sense of regret i write to protest how idea-changed my life to hell with misery and distress triggering blood pressure when stranded in faroff arunachal with no connectivity..

            1. after facing huge billing misappropriation with AIRTEL,I Have taken the idea connection [protected] 2 years back albiet on prepaid basis.it was good though i had problems of getting recharged in karnataka.then i opted for post paid when one your agent Ms.Sandhya,[protected],was after my life with 18 calls in a day to make me give application,documentation and 300 rs deposit;the verification man came to my office got my signature and vanished.10 months later after innumerable chargeable calls.providing fresh documentation as she said signature did not tally i got the post paid connection.a/c no 1.10938329;
            2. my first bill was promp and i paid in time.during second cycle,i had to go to arunachal and karnataka when i had to use roaming and the due was well within the credit limit.every two days i recieved a sms threatening to ct outgoings.i tried to pay in bangalore in rtnagar,banglore one where they declined because no bill is there.went to idea cellular office in rtnagar police station lane where the guy very rashly declined andhra pradesh connection payments.mind you all this on SMS no bill was despatched by idea.
            3. meanwhile my out going is barred,and no number is recognised by the service provider.
            4. soon after reaching hyderabad i have sent the due amount to e-seva where they have declined to take all amount and took amount matching previousbill.this was acknowkedged in sms dt 13 dec.
            5. however the outgoing stands disconnected,the sms threatening to cut outgoing come daily
            6. and atlast an sms comes today saying bill is despatched;when i see website and talk to a so called collection agent he asks me to visit headoffice or drop box shop.so much so for customer care..

            Airtel was much better,they threatened to cut only when i was in bedridden condition in a hospital after surgery unlike idea who cutme off when in arunachal or banglore,travelling..would like to sue abhishek bachan whose nice ads prompted me for change.
            kindly restore my outgoing forthwith,failing which i would proceed to complain in consumer court.

              I am using idea #[protected] from long time.On last 20th Aug 2011 74 rupee balance was deducted from my a/c when I confirmed with Customer care they told they can see that balance in my account details but when i try to call somebody its saying low balance when i check the balance it shows 19 paise. and customer care guys response was pathetic when i try to call once again i was not able to call and got message like try after 24hrs

              For any clarification call me on my Cell.

              My grandPa is using idea no.[protected] from long time.On last 7th may 2011 50 rupee balance was refunded from his a/c when I confirmed with Customer care they told some voice chat named service is activated on his no......by several followup with Idea balance was refunded.Now today 70rs.balance is deducted without any confirmation from his account....I talked to customer care he is saying this is not updated in their database............Amazing answer by CCC.

              How can we believe on the services provided by a company like IDEA.Should they need balance deduction behalf of low calling facility charges.............

                Dear Sir,

                From 18/08/2011 onwards, my out going call are barred partially with out prior information and on that day only I was informed that I have to submit the documents again. I had this connection since the last 4 years and twice I submitted my photo and id proof to the service provider. Now they again ask for documents.
                I ask for the status of my submitted documents, but I can't get any convincing reply from their side )

                Now I am feared that they issued any wrong connection with my photo & documents. I didn't get any convincing reply from their office or from your customer care centre. I hope that it is my right to ask for the submitted documents, they told that there is no provision to give back such documents.

                Pls. advice me what is the next step to make my side safe.

                  Dear Sir,

                  I have recharged my cousins mobile number on Aug 10 2011 and also in July 2011 for Recharge amount of 200 Rupees through Online and no where they mentioned in website that RC 200 is for 3G, I lost 400 rupees because of it and I am recharging the same amount from many years, I have all the proofs of transaction with me.

                  I called Customer care support guys and I spoke to 3 different guys with a span of 10 mins and 2 of them they agreed the recharge is made for 3G and its not their mistake, I asked them they did not mention anywhere online about that 200 is only for 3G their response is bad and they are telling that we should compulsary use 3G, what shall we do when we have no option to use 3G and 3rd guy surprisingly told that there is no recharge happend too.... I have the proof of screen shot with me.. The irresponsible of the Idea customer care is all 3 of them told that they are transferring call to their manager and kept in waiting for more than 10 mins and then disconnected the call.

                  I can appear in any court and provide you the proofs and the call list I made to the customer care, I lost 400 rs and thats not my problem, I really fed up with their response and cheating customers in recharge while doing online and also in the shop.

                  My cousins name is B rama krishna and his mobile number is [protected], presently this number is used by my parents and they cant use 3G as they have no knowledge on it.

                  The type of inconvenience is I recharged twice once in June 2011 or July 2011 from one shop for RC 200 and he got reply the mobile is recharged then I called my parents and asked them to check they did not get the balance, I thought that it may be mistake and as I usually do I again recharged online on Aug 10 2011 for RC 200 and I got transaction successfull but the recharge amount is not added, The reference number is[protected] .. I recharged many times and I did not get this money redirected to 3G...then i got doubt and called customer care more than 5 times and recently 3 times in one day and first 2 of them responded that recharge amount is redirected to 3G and we have to use 3G for it, and one of the executive told that recently only Idea changed this RC 200 to 3G, but its no where mentioned while recharging online but the third employee said that the mobile has not even recharged...and all 3 of them kept me on hold for more than 8 to 10 mins each time that they are transferring the call to manager and they disconnected.. is this the way behaving with customers we are using the same number for more than 5 years... and the third guy spoke very rudly like he is telling that your mobile is not recharged and dont ask me anything and disconnected..is this the way.. I also worked and working for more than 7 years and its minimum sense for anyone to have patience while talking...

                  I also have the bank proof that my money is deducted.

                        Disconnected my phone service and transformed my number into market for new connection with out intimation. I was out of station for one month.
                        Validity is there till 2012.
                        I lost my Public service exam information- through e-governance- Hall ticket number issue
                        I lost my money from BANK -through which they will communicate with me by SMS service , providing the PIN Numbers etc., due to disconnection of mobile service.
                        If I call then they will say that you are not using for so many days, that's why it was disconnected and transferred for sale in Market.
                        They disrupted my communication links

                        IDEA Cell Phone connection — Disconnection of the cell phone connection without information

                        My daughter's cell phone connection by IDEA pre paid was disconnected at Visakhapatnam on 15.7.2008 without information. The agent must satify himself before issue of SIM Card that document submitted meets their requirement. Best documents were given. Idea to activate the connection

                        This is Md.Izharul Haque,I have teken my Idea number: [protected] in the month of february 2011 itself that time I have submitted all the documents and the number was activated after 12 hours.Last week I got a message to submit the fresh documents for reverification,and submitted on last friday itself but unforunate after that they had disconnected my number on friday itself.I made a call regarding this they told that number will be activated within 2 days , but still not started.Again and again making a call in the customer care but they're not responding.This is the only number that i have in pune.kindly do the needful as soon as possible.

                        Idea Cellular Prepaid — disconnection of cell connection

                        My idea prepaid cell phone connection was disconnected with a reason that my documents submitted earlier were not as per DOT instructions. Where as I have submitted the fresh documents again on 02.05.2011, at your IDEA show room in East street, PUNE. Still I connection is not activated todays date is 19.05.2011. This is causing very much inconvenience to your customers and they may leave your mobile services.

                        People are getting fresh connections with in 5 minits, you are taking months together to activate your old customers, this is highly not execuasable.

                        Please restore connection immediately.

                          With reference to above mentioned subject I want to state the following points :
                          (1). I have taken Idea Netsetter Data card connection on 24/05/2011 in which maximum credit limit of 500 was fixed (all are in written agreement and as provided by Idea after taking the connection).
                          (2). I got the bill on 02/07/2011, where billing amount was reflecting Rs. 5298.98 and credit limit was wrongly shown 2500.
                          (3). My credit limit was 500 as per "connection agreement" but billing was done for Rs.5299/which was not as per credit limit and connection agreement.(As per connection agreement billing of first month can not acceed Rs.500 in any case.
                          (4). I took the matter with Idea and it's local representatives, but they not resolve the issue and insisted me to pay the full amount.
                          (5). My bill can not acceed Rs. 500 for first month as per connection agreement, then why such higher billing was done.
                          (6). With several reminders and so many calls for deposition of the bill by the Idea and sending private personnels to collect the bill by Idea.They made very uneasy situation for a common person like me and haraased mentally.Then I gave a cheque of Rs. 5299/- Dt. 18/07/2011.
                          (7). Requested to intervein the matter and ask them to refund the access amount taken by them.I shall be highly thankful to you as they have taken my hard earned money.
                          (8). I have all the documents and correspondences made to them.
                          (9). I tried to contact the concerned person from whom I taken the connection, but he never respond.
                          Idea is making fool to the innocent customers and harrassing mentally.Idea is making money without following their own agreement.

                          Requested to take the necessary action imediately.
                          Hoping for the resolution of the issue at the earliest.

                                  Idea — Unauthorized activation of Voice Chat Service

                                  Sir I'm been using IDEA prepaid call services from many months. From past 4 months 30 rupees has been deducting each and every month towards IDEA VOICE CHAT MONTHLY SERVICE, I never ever requested for for activation for this services, but still IDEA people activated this services and they are deducting the money through my mobile balance. (this month it is deducting twice); despite of repeatedly calling to customer care and spending money on talking with them seems to be no use. My mobile number is [protected]. I'm really disappointed with service and continuously losing money on this regard. So, hope through this complaints i will get proper response. thanking you.

                                    I am Ashish Dua, an Idea customer from Chandigarh using mobile number [protected] for last 1.5 years or so.

                                    At the outset, Let me congratulate you on the growth path of Idea Cellular.

                                    After being repeatedly disappointed at the response level o[censored]r Punjab Circle, i am forced to write to you for settlement of my greiviances.

                                    Let me give a brief introduction of background of problem I am facing-

                                    Since I have started this Idea number, I am continously facing this problem of signal at my home, no 3G services in Punjab, unresponsive toll free and showroom staff.
                                    Now since,I was not satisfied with your services, I had also requested for mobile number portabilty which has been rejected by your company twice. Its been 6 months back.

                                    I again kept sticking with Idea with an assurance that signal strength shall be improved and 3G services shall be activated by March. Still that has not been looked upon.

                                    Apart from this, I had visited Idea Sec-35,chandigarh showroom(Below Regional Office Idea) on 19th July, 2011 where gentleman on counter no. 1 attended to me wherein I had requested that since I was travelling to Nepal, i wanted International roaming to be activated. Apart from this, i also requested him for activation of call conferencing and missed call alerts, he took my id and address proof and it has not been activated till date even now, when I have come back from nepal. Since i keep travelling internationally, I requested Idea helpline no. today for activation of roaming since I have already submitted docs and they keep on insisting that I again need to visit Idea Showroom again and record shows that they have not received any request till date. Because of heavy schedule, I cant afford to keep visiting Idea Showroom and additionally, they are least responsive. it is creating lot of harassment as i am suffering huge business losses because of same.

                                    Its a humble request to you sir that since I am again travelling from tomorrow early morning out of country, please help me in following-

                                    1. Activation of International Roaming
                                    2. Call conferencing
                                    3. Missed Call Alerts
                                    4. 3 G services activation
                                    5. Signal problem
                                    6. Consideration of Punjab circle as equivalent to all other circles ( as we are not getting the facility of paying bills across india and also no 3G services)

                                    Hope you shall take my concern into consideration and some action shall be taken at the earliest.

                                    I asked Idea cellular to put my postpaid number on a hold for 3 months as I was going abroad. I paid the 150 Rs. in advance for the service. On coming back I asked them to re-activate my number which should ideally take not more than 24 hrs. But it didn't, I keep calling then for 2 weeks to activate the sim and every time they said that they have already activated it but my sim was still showing "no service detected" for this I talked to everyone from the idea franchise to the customer care.
                                    Ultimately when I went to there office and dig the information I came to know that the have blocked my sim in stand of putting it on hold. Then they gave me a new sim after 1 month, and in the next month bill they charged for it. Then again I contacted these stupid idea people to get it adjusted. Horrible experience

                                    i had aquised two new conn mob.no.[protected] voce call conn and othe net setter mob.no.[protected] and purchaesd data card also on 14 feb 2009 in the name of ashok sharma at rajnandgaon after tht i was out station hence forth my mob services for my postpaid conn were suspended due to cust no meet by your cv deptt i approached your local office thr. tel talk m/s nirmal cellcom rajnandgaon with mr chandan ruchandani the auth franchisee for rajnandgaon and informed him req to withdraw as i was out station in meeting with the co.were i am in job as per my req he immediately took the needful action and taken withdrawl of the no on his own risk of payment undertaking and as per my req he sent the letter that the cust wiill meet after 22 feb after that the co cv agency approached me on the first week of march 2009 and taken all the necessary details from me a/w my signatuer of statemt on the format provided by u...i m shoked after all the necessary action taken by u a/w cv done by your agency again on the 6th march the no was suspended even after the payment of outstanding done by me and providing rs.1000/-extar as s/d amnt to enhace the credit limit of my no i immediately approached again your local office nirmal cellcom were they approached your regional office at raipur and had a talk with your local cordinator mr vikram gautam at his mob.no.[protected] and after long disscussion he anserwed taht the reason is unknown and that the no will b withdrawn within 1/2 n hr on 06/3/09 at 12.30 pm but after even 7 days passed today again i approachd your local office were again the had a talk with your reg office and shokingly and very surprised to tell u and feel sorry the no is still suspended due to cpv negative as communicated by your local office is this the way to treat the customer and provide the srvices with this i req u it is harashment to the customer and a matter of consumer forum but i thought waistting the time and looking to the cooporation of your local office and on their req i had dropped the paln of taking legal action i req u plas disconnect the both no and take back my data card and return the amount of data card and s/d amnt deposited for both the no and resolve the problem-----

                                      i get every month unwanted messages ie subscription to star dust will be renewed for rs 25 to deact dial tollfree 155223 keyword OMMSD. i tried to deactivate but it dosent deactivate and cuts rs 25 from my prepaid balance i contacted IDEA customer care they simply say we will deactivate but since last 8 momenta i was deceived as idea has verry bad reputation for unnecessary charging its customers. i request once more to reimburse the entire deductions made from my cell no [protected]

                                        IDEA Cellular Customer services is definately the WORST. Seems that they have a history of charging extra to the customers. Don't pay Abhishek Bachchan for the stupid ads and you would save a lot of money.. Trust me.


                                        I woke up today and my balance got reduced from 30/- to 4/-. And the charges were towards Internet, for which I still pay 98/-. The best part is that the timing of the usage is ridiculous. 4:00 am in the morning, 7:00 am in the morning.. lol... I wake up at 10:00 am in the morning.

                                        This is not even the first time this happened. It happened once before but i ignored it. But not this time.

                                        How the hell is this possible???

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        I have my idea postpaid bill on July 31st. On aug 6th i got an SMS to make an immediate payment for Rs 1800 against my unbilled amount for Rs. 2500.
                                        Neither i have not made any calls nor i used any other service which will charge me Rs.2500 in 6 days.

                                        I requested idea to clarify this bill amount and provide me bill for the same, they said that i have to make the payment and they can not give details till Aug 21st.

                                        Idea is not only voilating my rights to know information about my bill, but are pushing me to make a payment of Rs. 1800 without any clarification.

                                        They have also stopped my outgoign services.

                                        I request you to take an immediate action on such poor service and restrict them to exploit customers.

                                        Really they are providing WORST services.
                                        They should give up from market if they can't even provide good customer care.
                                        I asked for a pack of international calling -Indonesia and was told to get a pack of 99rs by the customer care executives in idea through which i should have been charged @ 2Rs per minute, however it was not the case. I was charged at normal international calling rates. I have been trying to get it resolved through them but everytime i am told that you will get a resolution within 24-48 hrs and so on. Now it has been more than 2 weeks. Still no response from them as they know that its their mistake and they will have to refund my money. I think they have the most pathetic customer service in the entire telecom industry. I have already paid my bill else i know they would have billed me extra charges or worst case they would have disconnected my number. What else i can expect from them. Now i want full refund plus the money i have spent to talk to their stupid customer care executives.
