Dear concerns,

This is really pathetic experience through one of the largest cellular services company in India. I have got an Idea connection ([protected]) 3 years back. During december'2010, because of delay in payment (It was the very first instance when my payment was delayed), Outgoing calls were barred on my connection. I made the payment at the earliest and thanks to Idea for re starting my number however, the ISD calls were yet barred. I tried contacting Customer service but the responses were ridiculous. People sitting to help were actually harassing. Besides all my follow ups and all the false commitment made by Idea employees to restart my ISD calls, a month and a half passed but SO DISAPPOINTINGLY, services were not resumed. Finally. I started warning the Idea employees that i would surrender the number to which I got the reply "Whatever you want do, go ahead but the ISD will not be facilitated on your number". I was stunned and i decided not to pay even a single rupee against this pahetic services and the same I mentioned to the Idea call center to which, instead of helping me, the CCE said that "It will be very easy for us to retireve the payment". I want my connection back with the services activated. I am not at all going to entertain any of the legal action taken against me because I was forced by the Idea employees and so I defaulted.

    Sir,

    I am Prakash Sethi from bhubaneswar. I have a complain regarding the mobile number portability. On 4th april 2011 I had deposited my documents in the Airtel office to port my number from IDEA to AIRTEL with unique port number. After 5 days one message from airtel that,”Your porting request has been rejected due to some agreement with the IDEA, it was not allow to port this number”. After that i had gone to the idea office.They told me that,”though its a exclusive number,we will not allow you to port this number”.

    1- Is there any role that exclusive number will not allow to port ?


    2-They told me we will allow only ordinary number for porting.

    3- Sir, pls tell what the idea customer care told me, Is that right??

    4- Is it within the rules ?
    5-If it is not within the rule,pls take some action against the IDEA network.
    6-Many people from my AREA are suffering from same situation..

      my name is naresh vaswani ,my mobile number is [protected],this is a idea prepaid number.i would like to inform you that my father who is 78 years old is using this number,and he is least bothered about all promotional activities run by idea cellular,now without his consent some promotional offers are activated on this number and daily deduction of 5-6 rupees is being deducted from his account.This is not happened for the first time witth is connection ,i ve complaint them so many times with there customer care but all goes in vain......i think these companies are making big profit like this only..and i also know that i m not the only victim of these fraud culpurit company there r so many other also..

      so kindly help me by looking in to this matter

      rs 214 deducted frm my account on 1st nov 2011 on the name of song for ur incoming call users for a period of 1 year pls solve my problem

            Sir Jitendra here i have recharge a mobile of Rs. 14/- after conformation to customer executive about the validity of it on 1/4/2011 at around 8:38pm, and he told me that it will be valid till 4/4/2011 till night 8:38pm, that is from the time we r recharging the number. After that i recharge m number, and what happen they starting to minus my balance from 4/4/2011 in the morning it self and my Rs. 80/- was goan. After which i cll the customer executive they started to make me fool saying that cll on this number and there they says that cll on that number.And also playing with my tempere and not ready to take a complaint also. but on 8/4/2011 after making many attempt was ready to take the complaint now they are saying that u have been charge correctly so no refund will be given.
            on 11/4/2011 I m again trying to cll them but they are not taking my call.
            Please do something if possible.

            Idea Cellular Mumbai — Wrongly Amount deducted

            Dear Sir :

            I had made a ISD recharge of Rs 79/-- for getting the benefit of the reduced Tariff for Calling US & CANADA and confirmation received on 10:31:45PM,[protected] from SENDER 3891.

            But Later when I called to US, @ 11:17 PM on 26/07/09 my call was charged @ Rs. 6.40/minutes, instead of Rs. 1.99/ minute

            Kindly deduct @ Rs. 1.99/minute for 7 Minutes, and credit the balance amount back.

            Also please inform the Toll Free # as to where I can speak in Person and not just hear computer.

            Idea Cellular Mumbai — network problem

            my name is jayesh mehta . i m the prepaid customer o[censored]r company. there is nothing network in our area. so pls take any action 4 providing network..

            Idea — not launching plans properly

            i am having message offer currently and now i recharged with 1 paise local and std plan tariff.They havent informed me about their terms and conditions of that plan that all previous plans will collapse in either their acknowledgement to my plan and they havent properly launched this condition in market .nw again i have to recahrge all my previous offers

            idea mobile network /recharge — without any reason minus balance

            i have last 8 month idea prepaid sim card and without any reason and any information payment are minous of per day 3 rupees since last 20 days.
            Firstly I have personally visit to Idea Customer care center at Mira Road Branch one which is located at mira-bhya highway in front of Reliance Petrol pump. there one person is saying that it is valid complaint and u should get a balance and after some time other girl coming in between and saying that no it is not like that, she made a call to whom i don't no but after a call she says that it is not a valid complaint. And not ready to talk to me any more just ask a person to get from there and they both went were god's only noes after which i have made a complaint.
            and it has taken place long time back still no solution has come on it, and again after which my balance was again dedicated when ever i used to recharge the mobile. for which i have again made a complaint and your executive have ask me not to recharge the number unless a get a solution for it, and have no balance on my number as instructed by your executive.
            Secondly it is not possible to display a mobile number in a public openly, u can make it with my complaint number which is been given by you'll, and i have provided it in my complaint i.e. Complaint No.:- 1) 1-[protected]
            2) 1-[protected]
            3) 1-[protected]
            this what i have receive when ever i used to call to customer care number.
            I need a solution of it as soon as possible.
            What happen about my complaint, is there any positive action will be taken on or not. If not so i have to take a positive action from my side, as it is to much delay and i can't wait any more for the same and i will she that all the concern person as well as to whom i have spoken will have to suffer as i have to use PCO to call if needed as i m not able recharge the number as it get deducted as i recharge it and your executive ask me not to recharge unless your solution is not coming.
            I don't think that there will be any action taken on my complaint so it batter to change the service and then after take a legal action on the related issues.
            hi what is happening i m not able to recharge my mobile and make a call. what to do with such kind of sim card in which i m not able to recharge it. don't i change my service
            need a proper reply as soon as possible

            have idea's mobile no [protected], and i had took a plans which details as follows
            47 Rs plans validity 180 days all calls 50p/s recharge date[protected]
            i getting ben fit properly but last i got problem my call rates are going 60p/s when i contact
            your customer care center,your customer executive said my plan validity completed
            that's way i have unable to take that ben fits how i could possible my plans validity finished only in between 20-30 days, i have been fascinating lot of problem from idea cellular mumbai

              Idea cellular have been disconnected my VIP no. [protected] without any notice cause i am not in gujarat within last two month. Idear cheat with customer, if you have VIP number of idea, your number will be a disconnet cause idea want to resell it and want to receive more money from market but you have not a VIP mobile numbers ot idea, you conecttion will be not disconnet cause after disconnet you number, i lose one customer and for that numner i donot get any premium from customer. so any one halp to me to recover my above number form idea any my card already lifetime validy and have balance also i tell idea that " idea chor hai jo public se money lut late hai" and i hear that trai want to cencel Idea celluar licence in Punjab and Karnataka so i am very very happy to listen that cause i lost my idea mobile no. [protected] without any notice and I must want to that Idea lost there licence in Punjab and Karnataka, i support to trai for that step against Idea cellular. Idea also cheat with trai to make partnership with more than SIX telecom circule with more than 10% partnership. so trai take action against Idea and notice for 300 cr fine (panelty) . for this fine, Amarjitsing put request to trai for 300cr panelty for more that 6 telecom circule partnership with more than 10%. so i support to trai and must be take fine from Idea cellular cause i cellular have lot of money taken from innocent mobile customer. No one ready to hearing my above cumplaine in Idea cellular outlet and customer care help line numbers. so i am very very happy for trai step against Idea. i have Idea. if you have no idea, don"t very casue idea is bad idea for life and future. don't very if you have no idea, your life very happy without bad idea. so please tell to all people that don't take idea, idea is bad idea for you happy and good life. so any one to help me to recover my mobile no.                 Sir recently i traveled abroad for 2 weeks and since i am into software business i had activated international roaming and during my inquiry they provided me with idea international roaming tariff which gave clear details of incoming outgoing and data charges.According to the details given by them i estimated my bill 2 b roughly around 3000 rs as per my requirement,My usage there was very limited,But to my horror wen i checked the bill midway they told its 73000 rs so i immediately switched off my mobile and the next day wen i checked it was 81000 rs.even wen my phone was switched off the bill was increasing,so i called them and asked to cancel my roaming immediately.
                After i came back and inquired about the details they are showing me vague figures,they are asking me to pay the amount without which they wont resume my connection.My complain is that
                1) They had to provide me everything in detail and every possibility of my usage in prior
                2)My credit limit was 3000 rs they had 2 disconnect my phone wen the amount increased my credit limit. now i am not in a state 2 pay such huge amount but still i am ready to pay the bill for my incoming and outgoing calls that i have made that comes roughly around 1500 rs rest i am not able to understand the bill details they have given me.At one moment which says for the internet usage of just 4 minutes its charged 6000 rs which is bull .. please advice me what to do.

                  i m manoj kumar i have been a mobile phone user of idea celluler for last 4 yrs.i have nvr faced any problem with the service.but from last some months i m facing many problems of reducing balance.i always ignore bcs i dont have so much time to complain against them.bt this time it is over.the company has reduced a balance of 50 rupees .i called care service bt the object told me that i activated `CRICKET ALERT` service on 23 march though i nvr activated this kind of service on my cellfone.it also warned me that i cnt get my reduced balance anyhow.pls suggest me what should i do.

                    this is Raviprakash. i hv idea net setter([protected]) . on 12th feb i had closed the connection because i was not able to pay the bill (plan 699 unl.) connection was closed by Mr. Lucky in thane (naupada gallary), on next month (12 march)i got another bill of 680 Rs. i did not use netsetter after 12 feb, now that person who closed the connection is not listening my complain and he is avoiding . i am complaining from 12th march and he is not listening anything ...
                    please take a action against him and solve my problem i can t pay this amount of bill...

                        i have purchased IDEa Netsetter from nearest dealer. He assured that the connectivity will become 3G in few days. i have waited 2 years and it has not even become a broadband. the speed i am getting is 10- 11 kbps. and their customer care is just hopeless

                        i recoment u nt 2 by idea netsetter as they r cheating on us.
                        is there any way to get rid of this disgusting service
                        Myself Harsh, purchased Idea Netsetter just 7 days before, but I am very disappointed with its speed, its hardly upto 15kbps. I cann't open 2 tabs in Internet explorer at a time. Customer care is also not supported. What should i do ?
                        All the usb net connecting devices in the market are not value for price.all these are just for small browsing purpose.like checking emails
                        cheking websites.maximum speed will 256kbps and download ma 20kbps. when using these the range and areas are crucial factors. move your system near to windows where connection is possible. browsing speed will be maximum from 10pm to 8am.
                        is you are a regular home custumer and looking for maximum speed and lot downloading BSNL BROADBAND is the only way.

                        ps: its shame giving complaints against idea, airtel, relience etc they are not giving us sevice actually we are serving them by giving money.
                        September 2012 i purchased idea net setter for a some days it was working fine,but after the some days its speed is very slow now 2kbps to 4kbps where as it promised a 3Gspeed of above 7.2 mbps.My money is west but i suggest that every person don't buy idea 3G net shutter. And I request India consumer court don't permission this type f rode company in India.

                          From last few months I am really surprised by customer care department & centre at Vashi Railway station.
                          After this mail I personally submitted documents at centre in Vashi railway station & recharged was done of Rs 400/-
                          But in end of January 2011 the card was suddenly disconnected. My dad is of age 80yrs he cannot roam for small reason here & there ,I am always out of station.
                          But after reaching my home town I enquired about disconnection of card in care centre of Vashi, very very irritating answer was given to me number was disconnected due to non usage from last 3 months & solution to that is to buy another new idea sim card.
                          Than what happened to my balance & how come due to non usage it was disconnected which never happens in other sim services. Non usage was due to disconnection of services from our side.
                          Please let me know the correct reason & help me out in getting the same number .

                          Awaiting for your reply if I my getting back same number ,otherwise I have to search for other proper way to put all my grievances of IDEA services

                          Verification is proper,than also I have to submit my documents again for what?
                          This means from last 2 yrs verification of my card was not done.
                          Now all of sudden even the verification is proper your dept. wants to disconnect my number.
                          How come so and on what basis?
                          I want to activate my no. as soon as possible as its stress to go to Kalina for only submission of documents.

                            Dear Sir/Madom I have get one idea No.[protected] for past six month and using still this time. But last two days before send two sms from your ieda netwotk. but I am not accept that sms.But your ieda network debit Rs.20+10=Rs.30/-deduct from that ieda No. account. I call your ieda couster care that persion has no responce. So further I have change of an other netwot for this number. I am so sorry for your inconveance.

                              I have a detailed discussions with your Ms. Babita and explained her in details the following:-

                              1. Why the data was not produced in the month of Jan, Feb where the billing was done
                              at Rs. 13000/- and Rs 4,000/- Why the both was given in the month of March? Can
                              any one of your officer explain this. This itself means that manipulation has been
                              done at idea's end.

                              2. Why Mr. Omkar informed in the month of Feb that the billing has been done wrongly
                              you pay only Rs. 900/- and the balance would be reversed back.

                              3. Mr. Omkar promised that an amount of Rs. 500/- would be reversed as a goodwill
                              gesture and Rs. 1050/- towards excess charge made by idea. Why this has not been
                              done till date.

                              Under the above circumstance it is a proved fact that idea has played a mischief with me. If you are unable to reverse the above amount, I will have to go to the consumer court for getting justice and the expenses incurred on this will have to be reimbursed to me and shall file a suitable compensation for harrassment.

                              In order to avoid this, I earnestly reqest you to kindly reverse atleast 50% of the internet bill and the amount promised by Mr. Omkar accordindly.

                              Hope you will do the needful.

                              I am holding the above account with you from more than one year with 512 MB free with a rental of Rs.299/- per month. During this period, I was receiving a minimum amount of Rs 329/- per month for my usage. On one odd day in the month of Jan , I received a call from your call centre informing me the bill amount of Rs. 13,000/- for the month of Jan and internet/mobile got disconnected. Immediately I rush to your Vasai Office to take help and the problem was resolved after four days. Since then, I am facing a problem of regular disconnection.


                              I got a bill From 9th Jan to 8th Feb : Rs. 2698.07(Internet) Total bill amount : Rs. 3858.04


                              The matter was taken up with your Officials in Vasai and requested to look into the matter. After ten days it was informed by Mr. Omkar that this is the case of Wrong billing and the subject amount would get reversedin the month of Feb. You pay the minimum amount what you have been receiving in the regular bills. Accordingly, I paid Rs. 900/-. During this period my internet/mobile was disconnected frequently and harassed me like anything. I was insisting with your officials to produce data for such high amount but were unable to do so.


                              I have today received a bill From 9th Feb to 8th Mar : Rs. 1513.52(Internet) : Total bill amount : Rs.2306.38.


                              Once again the matter was taken up with your officials who than produced a itemised detail list for both the months and informed that the bill produced is correct and make the payments. I informed them that right from the inception that the billing is wrong and Mr. Omkar also agreed to this and the usage shown in the itemised bill has not made by undersigned. A basic question arises, why it has taken two months time to produce the itemised details. This itself shows that some manipulation has been done at idea itself.


                              It may please be noted that in case anything has gone wrong for the usage not made by the undersigned, Idea would be solely responsible for this.


                              It is highly regretted that a Company like your can harassed the customer in this way and make the money from the customer, for without customer’s fault.


                              Under the above circumstances, I am not making any payment to Idea. I would request your honour to kindly look into the matter immediately and reversed the above amount.


                              On receipt of your reply and after reversing the amount, I shall pay the necessary legitimate amount to idea.


                              Looking forward to your positive response.

                                I had gone for new mobile No.[protected] (idea cellular) for my home use for the first time. Few days back my wife used the call & then from his mobile a default No.55181 was unknowingly pressed which after 39 minutes came to know (billed Rs.251.64, call timing was 9.30 P.M.) by my daughter came to know that this mobile phone is ON , seeing the No.55181 tag name Ganesha, she immediately switched OFF.
                                The complaint was lodged to local idea office where they replied that this is a default no with new SIM Card & this no.was dialed from your mobile hence you have to pay. The conversation started as follows..
                                Ques.: Why this type of default nos. in new SIM card except customer care.
                                Ans: Company provide such default nos.in new SIM& if not required you delete it.
                                Ques: Why customer should delete, you should not provide, why company engaged in such activities which causes disputes.
                                Ans: No reply.
                                Ques: with above no.dialed no talk /querry done only silence mode costed this bill of Rs.251.64 ,if it was not identified till morning & bill of Rs. 5000 levied , shall it be paid by any of the customer.
                                Ans: No reply.
                                Ques.: Lodge my above Complaint to your office, upon satisfactory reply only I shall pay the bill or shall discontinue all my nos.(4 nos.) with idea
                                Ans: Complaint register.

                                I require satisfactory & convincing reply ,why should customer suffer & trapped with such strategy.

                                  Hello Sir,

                                  I have purchased Idea sim card before 4 months and I have submitted all the required documents. After 1 month I got message like the local referance was not contactable so submit document again. I have submiteed all the documents again. Then again after 1 month I got same message. Till now I have submitted document 4 times and everytime i got same message. when I asked for that they are not giving me any satisfied answer. I have asked to my friends whose number I have given as referance but they told me they havent got any call regarding verification.

                                  Now I feel I did big mistake to purchase IDEA sim. I havent face any issues in Vodafone,Reliance and Tata.

                                  Please guid me what to do. They have again disconnected my phone.

                                  My self is Vaibhav Goel. I am using idea services in Delhi/NCR region with mobile number [protected]. About 7 -8 months ago, they stopped my mobile's services due to documents verfication, then I submited all my documents at idea showroom according to the rules.They started my mobile service's and i used my mobile without any problems. Day before yesterday they message to me for submitting the Photo, ID proff and Address Proff again. Then i called to customer care,the attendant person is Mr.Chandan and he told me that this message has gone to every customer and we have your document and you don't need to submit the documents again. He was verfying my details also.Now Yesterday they Stoped my services again then i called them,they told me that We don't have your documents and you have to submit your documents again.Then what is gurrantee that again in future they will not stop my mobile services.if there is any problem in my documents, they should told me. Their feedback is too back. Please do needful as soon as poosible.

                                    Earlier i have an idea prepaid connection which i got converted to postpaid and there was option that i can later(after 3 months period) shift back to prepaid connection.
                                    Now when i wish to convert my postpaid connection back to prepaid the company's relationship counter denying for same reasoning due to problem in system.
                                    What all documents will be required to file a complaint in Consumer Complaint Forum and is there any procedure for online filing of complaint?
                                    My No. is[protected] & also they requires 2 days time for shifting my no. which i want to escape.
                                    Such kind of problems if mobile operator will not create then & then people will continue or else find alternate solutions. Today market is very wide to find alternate solution. But this is not a way to do business. You people might be understand but not improve it.[protected]Rakesh Bhensdadia
