Dear Sir,

I have been using Idea services for more than a year now, during this stint o[censored]sage I have never delayed in paying bills. But it was during march 2011, when I started to find problem with network on my handset LG Cookie. I initially thought it was fault with my handset and got it serviced only to know that the unit is working properly. Then I resorted in changing my SIM on March 25th 2011. Even after changing the SIM the problem persisted. I have many times registered oral complaints at N.Paravur Idea office, but they kept convincing me on the issue, but nothing really happened. I had to continue using the service on feeble or no-network, which also affected my business interest. Now they have raised a bill of 6285 INR for month March-April, where 5121 INR has been charged on data-usage. I have asked them to generate detailed bill showing IMEI no., and hours o[censored]sage for which they have not responded.I have many times approached the Idea service Centre at Ravipuram, Ernakulam and yet apart from lame commitments nothing has really happened. I would request you to help me in this regards.
Dear sir / Madam,
It has been more than a month and yet I do not get a concrete reply to my impending concern. I’ am really stressed out making visits to your Ravipuram office, talking to your personnel’s pleading and persuading them to consider my ordeal with the bill raised on March-April 2011. I yet made a payment of 2000 INR expecting the team to act upon the issue and provide me a waiver on rest amount. I’ am surprised at the phase the issue is been taken, It won’t be sarcastic to compare your process in tackling with customer complaints with that of any Government services. I know that I’ am at losing side, in terms of money I have lost and poor service that I have to continue with. I kept telling you that my major issue is with lack of signal at my home and yet your team wouldn’t fail in giving all lame excuses but to find a solution to my issue. Please help me quit using your service and consider my loyalty in providing justice. Please do not make a fool of me and provide me an amicable solution.
People I interacted with are: Mr. Jithin (CSE-N.Paravur), Mr. Benhur(CSE-Ravipuram), Mr. Prajeesh (Not sure of his title) and all fellow Call centre executives.

    Sir,

    Idea has been a pain in terms of its services and charges. My Outgoing and caller identification has been barred for not submitting the documents, even though I submitted them. I have submitted the relevant documents twice, but Idea has not activated my caller identification. Their website has some issues with online bill payments. Madhapur and Kondapur showrooms have been closed from past few months.Don't know why?
    Now when I am porting out from Idea, these guys suddenly reject my porting request because of choice of number charges. I didnt even know that there are Choice of number charges. No body informed me at the first place. I cannot proceed Porting further because of this issue. I am really frustrated with IDEA and request you to take actiono againdt them.

      Recievning continous irritating calls from [protected] (unknown number) use to ask for mr. vijay evey time though i have told him 100 of times that it is a wrong number, still he use to ring my numbeer..
      But when my brother or father or any male recieves his call he disconnect the call.
      This is really embarrassing to recieve his call and for being an entertainment source of some .

          Dear Sir,
          I vipin kumar is a costumer of Idea mobile services and my no is [protected]. I applied for the number portability facility to switch over to Vodafone. I requested for the porting code which is ID322717 upc. On submission to vodafone i was told that the code is invalid.
          I walked to costumer care office and again requested to solve the problem but no any satisfactory solution is provided by Idea Costumer care.

          In view of the above it is requested to provide me the detailed information about the invalid porting code.

          Idea Cellular — Wrong Port Code

          Dear Sir,
          I am Suhail ahamad mansoori, Costomer of Idea mobile services and my no is [protected]. I applied for the number portability facility to switch over to Docomo. I requested for the porting code which is IA395329 UPC.I applied 2 times but every time idea rejected my request with wrong UPC, I also talked to costumer care and again requested to solve the problem but after that also they rejected the request with same reason without giving me any satisfactory solution. both party either IDEA or DOCOMO not providing me any kind of information or giving me any kind of solution.

          In view of the above it is requested to provide me the detailed information about the invalid porting code.

            Subject: No Incoming Call/SMS from Reliance Network CDMA/GSM Last 3 Months.

            Dear Sir/Madam,
            With reference to above subject,I am facing reliance network Incoming call related problem from 15th feb 2011 Since I have ported in from Vodafone to IDEA .I have complaint several times in past regarding the same and still facing lot of problems over the incoming calls from my clients, family & friends who have reliance no,they are unable to contact me. which has also effected my business and client relations.


            I was a Platinum members for Vodafone ([protected]) but had coverage issue at my residence only even though booster were installed at my residence I had fear of health related problem for my entire family . so I decided porting to IDEA think it would be much better for coverage

            After approaching your Team members (Customer care at 198 & Stores) I have not received any solution for the above incoming call related problem from reliance network.There was only assurance/promises from your Network team but thereafter no response.I was told the issue is still in TRAI but now its been nearly 3 months.

            I have mailed to The Nodal officer Mah & Goa circle and have mail as well as received call from there office,they say the have contacted reliance and they are working over it. I get another call next day and from the office from same person in-charge and say issue has been resolved which has not.after contacting again to same office person they are helpless so please give me final answer if you cannot just say upfront and be clear. The only option I have is to change the network again as locking period of MNP is over.

            Kindly resolution the above as early as possible.

              hii my name is rajender kumar ,i am ideas costumar since last 6 years,in september 2010 i take a plan of 249 combo in which they give 2gd gprs free mbut bad thing is that they charge 2paisa per kb and add this to unbilled soo unbilled incresse and my number gets barred 8 or 9 times par months and i dont know how much data i use ,this march company give me a invitation to his 3G party to my at jp palace hotel where her head o[censored]p and uttarskand say 3G is free for 15days soo u can feel the differnce, i use it for 3 days and company has charge me 6000 rs so how i can pay it plsss solve my problem and barring problem as soon as possible my no is [protected] and alternate no is [protected] sooo plsss reverse my amont so i use my no

                HAVE APPLIED FOR SHIFT MY MOBILE NUMBER [protected] FROM MTNL TO IDEA . I HAVE SUBMITTED ALL THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS WITH UPC CODE AT AZAD PUR (IDEA OUTLET) ON[protected] AND AFTER SUBMITTED I HAVE RECEIVED IDEA SIM. AND AND THANKS AFTER 8 DAY'S MY NEW IDEA SIM IS WORKING FINE. PLEASE NOTE THIS POSTPAID CONNECTION . AFTER ONE MONTH [protected],

                i complained to idea OUTLET AT ADARSH NAGAR, DELHI regarding the problem (outgoing barred) in my number.
                I was communicated by Mr. AKASH ([protected]) that my verification got failed (ReASOn: THE HOUSE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION)
                since then i am getting "INVALID SIM" error on my idea number...Thanks for this..now i am unable to get incoming calls too.
                From that day onwards,i have been trying hard to call TO MR. AKASH ...but nobody is picking up the phone.
                Please let me know when will i get the privilege to get incoming/outgoing calls & number will get activated..

                  Hi,

                  I was getting the SMS regularly from idea that If i re-Submit my applications for my idea number [protected] then I would be credited with 25rs talktime. But It never really happened. I use to get atleast 5 or 6 times daily until I submitted the application. I have even contacted the customer care several times but with vain. The customer care guys just tel that they will revert back within 1 day but no one has turned up till now.
                  This is not the question of actually a small amount of 25rs that should be credited to my number but the way my complaint was handled and was ignored and they never kept there words.

                    I had applied for porting out my mobile no. [protected](Maharashtra and Goa circle) from Idea to Uninor on 26/04/2011 with all the relevant documents and UPC generated same day.
                    As I know it takes about 7 days for porting of a no. to take place, so I contacted Uninor office toady i.e. after 9 days because nothing has happened regarding porting. The rep. sitting there told me that the process has been started from their end and now it is upto Idea to release the no. for porting out. So, I contacted Idea office, where I was told that the UPS quoted was wrong in application. When I showed the message which was sent to me with UPC, the lady was not even interested in seeing the message dismissing me saying that she can not see the UPC in her system which I know is not true.
                    So. now pls. tell whom should I contact because your people are not interested in helping me out at local level.

                    hiii sir i have port my RELIANCE number [protected] to idea on 26th jan 2011. and my request for this is accepted on 28th jan 2011 and i got a call frm idea and they said that my num will switch to idea in 7 days but till now my num is not transfer to idea and when i said that now i dont want to switch now they said now u cant cancel ur request ......and when i call customer care they assure evry time that num will work in 24 hours but they fail in their assurity....sir plzzz do something and cancel my request and give my documents and fees back........

                    hiii sir i have port my TRUMP number [protected] to idea on 08th March 2011. and my request for this is accepted on 14th March 2011 and i got a call frm idea and they said that my num will switch to idea in 7 days but till date service not woarking. i call customer care they assure evry time that num will work in 24 hours but they fail in their assurity...sir plzzz do something and cancel my request and give my documents and fees back...
                    I got excellent service from IDEA, Bhubaneswar. 1st I got a SIM from Idea then after 2years I have MNP to Aircel due to my convenient. Unfortunately Aircel service not give more satisfaction than Idea so I changed my provider to IDEA (My Home Provider), and Now enjoy all things like Internet pack, call tariff and donot service etc, So I am so happy and proud of to Idea...Thanks Idea

                      On 21/04/2011 I received a mail from idea as below:
                      "With reference to your mail, we regret for the inordinate delay in replying to your mail below. We regret to inform you that we are unable to reactivate the same number as the same has already got recycled as a fresh prepaid number and circulated to the market. Hence, we suggest you to take a new connection and revert us with the number so that we can credit the amount of Rs.250/- on the same. Or else, we request you to revert us with any other idea prepaid number so that we can credit the amount of Rs.250/- on the same number."

                      I'm not using the said idea number for the service provider's unacceptable behavior / service.

                      I replied to idea on 30/04/2011 as below:

                      The resolution (came after 259, YES I MEAN TWO HUNDRED & FIFTY NINE DAYS) simply un-acceptable!!

                      And now comes your below email dated 21/04/2011.

                      It’s VERY CLEAR from my email to idea on 10/08/2010 THAT I DON’T NEED THE CREDIT ANY MORE IN MY SIM ACCOUNT BUT I NEED THE MONEY BANK IN MY BANK A/C.
                      Then, WHY YOU ARE WORRIED / CONCERNED ON MY SIM DEACTIVATION ETC???
                      As you rightly said, the subject SIM deactivated due to non-usage.
                      Yes, I’m not using the sim for few months ONLY because of your UNACCEPTABLE / UNPREFORSSIONAL customer service explained above!!!

                      Now, I have all required stuff to take you guys to Consumer Court.
                      To avoid such, you may compensate me for all my inconvenience / losses / my endless follow-ups for past 259 days etc. I’m looking forward 10 times of my original on-line re-change as a token compensation to close the matter. For avoidance of doubts, my bank account to be credited for Rs. 2,500/- (Rs.Two Thousand Five Hundred Only) within 14 days from this email.

                      In case, above not resolved to my satisfaction, within 14 days today, the matter will be dragged to Consumer Court and my claim will not be less than 1,000 times of the amount involved.

                      Hope, I informed all sufficiently.

                      On 01/05/2011 idea replied - "We urge you not to form a lasting impression of our services based on your unfortunate experience as the inordinate delay in replying your mail was due to some technical clarifications which has to be needed from the concerned end. We are constantly updating the feedback received from our subscribers and using it for improving our service.

                      Further, we express our inability to provide the requested amount as currently we don’t have the provision for the same. Hence, we request your kind co-operation in this regard."

                      On 3rd May 2011 I sent an email as below to idea:

                      Also, I urge you to instruct your customer service to abstain from sending email like below.

                      It looks idea customer service “claims in past” one-by-one falling back to their own head and stand against them!
                      You are well aware that same guys, over 242 days ago confirmed me that they money was remitted to my bank account. Now they swallowed same!!
                      You will certainly agree that your customer service NEW version “we are unable credit the amount of Rs.250/- to your bank account as the same amount had already updated in your number [protected]” is another desperate attempt to cover-up their inefficiency that will only down grade your credibility / market reputation.

                      Any ways all this will eventually helps me to post my claims against Idea Cellular Limited, as explained in my email dated.30th April 2011.

                      As you see there is no end & "NO IDEA" how long this innocence will continue from the worst service provider.

                      As you can see above, I decided to take them to court.
                      We will need to TEACH this guys a lesson. Good luck to unfortunate subscribers who had similar experience with this service provider.

                      The above spoke person from Ideacellular certainly a "fool" or never wanted looked at the series incidents / emails with Ideacellular since 07/08/2010.

                      Why this spoke person silent on Ideacelluar confirmation on 04/09/2010???

                      And, yes the non-usage certainly due to unacceptable service from IDEA and I will not associate with IDEA never ever in my life. Also, for sure, wherever possible I will divert IDEA users to another service provider ... Soon we will see a natural death of this ill fated service provider (thanks to the attitude of the IDEA guys and the corporate culture practiced within Ideacellular) !!!

                        complaint text:(Poor idea cellular service,stopped recieved call and missed call information) as per the govt norms , but ihave submitted three times what ever they are asking (adress proof) since three months onwords. customer care theifs givining assurence its being update with in 24 hours. totally 32 idea customer care people were given same assurence , finally i convey my problem to their super visors ( PRADEEP, PREETHI, SATEESH and BHASKER) these people are very smart than the subordinates. these theifs were also telling same words YOUR PROBLEM HAS BEEN RECTIFIED WITH IN 24 HOURS since two months. but my problem was stilll retain....i want to take very serious action for thse guys by thier higher authorities.

                          I visited My Idea Care on 1st of April 2011, and complained about two issues. The first was that they were charging Re. 0.02 extra on every outgoing calls, for example if I talked to someone for 20 seconds they were charging Re. 0.22 (On any network). And the second issue was that the internet does not work for 2-3 hours every 5 to 7 days. They only registered complaint on the first issue. After a month i.e., on 1st May, Internet is not working since then. I complained about it to Idea Customer Care, they gave me assurance that the problem will be rectified within 24 hours, but they refused to register my complaint. After 24 hours, the problem was still there and I called back to them 3 times in 3 hours. Finally I forced them to register my complaint and they said that the problem will be rectified up to 15:00-16:00 Hours next day. Now its 4th May and still I'm not able to access internet. I have spent around Rs. 15 in complaining to Customer Care and the GPRS Pack of Rs. 98 for 30 Days, which I recharged on 21-April-2011, is going wasted. They said me ask for a new Idea SIM with same number, but they are charging Rs. 25 for that also. Whatever I do, I'm in loss. Every time I call the Customer Care, they don't even listen to me, and they used to talk to someone else (I frequently hear other person sounds), and every time they give different excuses. I asked them that will they compensate me for this, they denied. What should I do. My Complaint ID is: [protected], and my cell phone number is [protected].

                            If such kind of a service and expecting from customer to retain with Idea is this possible .

                              I got my mobile recharged through Axis bank online banking services on 29.04.2011 at 12:47 p.m. for Rs. 352.00 and I received a sms from idea stating that my request received for recharge of Rs. 352.00 and talktime 0.00. to my surprise I did not get the balance in my mobile and later on when I contacted on 12345 I was told by the customer care executive on 30.4.11 that they have received my request for recharge and I will get the balance by noon which ,not getting I again contacted 198 they told me I will get the balance by night as there is some technical problem .I lodged the complaint at 198 under complaint no. I-[protected] dt. 29.4.11. and on repeatedly contacting them for 03 days at 198 I used to get an answer that there is technical problem and I will get the balance by night. Yeterday on 2.5.11 approx. by 4.00 p.m. when I again contacted them I was told that I could not get the balance as I have chosen an option for balance in new SIM whereas my SIM is old so I cannot get any balance and my money will not be refunded. I hereby appeal that hat is this way of working of and reputed company like idea that If a customer who is using there services for last more than 05 years is traeted like that that even if he has made a mistake in choosing a recharge option that insted of correcting him and returning the money back he is being told that his money is gone for free to the company. Sir, Please help me to recover my money and I think that the company is also not considering its reputation by doing such a deed.

                                Another target of rude behavior from customer care executives of IDEA Cellular.
                                in regard to the fraudulent bills generated by IDEA Cellular.
                                I had intimated IDEA of terminating my services in mid of December.
                                For this I did the following:
                                1. Raised request on their online portal couple of times -- Which was closed every time.
                                2. Reminded them 3 times through Email(copy of which is pasted below).

                                Still they generated my bill for complete month of December, which I payed as soon the bill was generated considering it a delay from there side.

                                Despite of this I receive harassing phone calls in the month of April about paying bill for the month of Jan-Feb-Mar for which I have never availed their services.
                                Not to forget due to this, my other IDEA number was closed/bared of all incoming/outgoing calls suddenly. How rude is that? (even when the mistake is theirs)

                                Would suggest everyone to stay away from IDEA if you want your blood pressures to be in limits. Will surely convey all the IDEA users in my company through our portal to make use of number portability and get RID OF IDEA ASAP.

                                I have repeatedly intimated IDEA of terminating that number([protected]) from mid of December last year.
                                If you want I have proofs of emails sent and you could also check your portal, where I had raised the request so many number of times.

                                        i kavita, has prepaid connection with idea from past 5 years. From past 2 months, there is a deduction of Rs 5 towards the full song, which is activated automatically by idea people, without my knowledge.

                                        i have been complaining to call centre, and asking them to deactivate it. Still nothing has been done. On that the customer service executives speaks so rudely, says they dont have information of my complaints. and deactivation will happen next day only.

                                        i have already wasted more then Rs 100 for this hello song activated on my number [protected].

                                        hope the people of idea, take customers complaints seriously and resolve it,rather making it verse.
