I had an idea postpaid mobile no:[protected] bhought 2 years ago from an agent of Idea Cellular Punjab named Mr.Vinod Kumar. After few months as I was not satisfied with the services I returned the sim card and all the due bills to Mr. Vinod Kumar and asked to close my number in January 2010. But now after about one year Idea Cellular sent me a legal notice that you have some dues of an amount of 1332. A person who addressed himself as lawyer of Idea Cellular torchered me a lot. When i asked for the details Idea Cellular replied that we don't know any Vinod Kumar and they also not provided me the info.that from where that sim card had been sold.They said that this amount is against your Blackberry Service for which I had never applied.I asked for the application which I had submitted to any idea showroom for the activation of this service but they also not gave me this.I had to paid an amount of 1332.00INR without any reason. I want Idea Cellular to clear my quiries and give me complete information or refund my money.
Please help me in this.

Idea Cellular Punjab — Cheating and miss salling

Respected sir,
My name is Ashok kumar from Punjab My cell number is [protected] i want to complaint against idea celluler punjab ,acctually i have buy 2 new connection in lucky scheme before 3 month from idea show room lacated in chandigarh 35 sec.at the time of selling they commit me that connection value is Rs30 and told me that call rate will be on 2 no: of idea will be @10paisa and other idea @40/p and other @60/p and talktime Rs 25.but i have not get any talktime and any scheme from them.i have complait to custmer care 8 time of this.they told me that aal schemes will be activate on your cell soon please wait for 24 hour.i am waiting fron last 3 month.idea punjab is miss salling there product to custmer and cheating with custmer, they do not fullfill there commitment which they commit on sale their product . custmer care also make me fool from 2 month they said only that "please wait your problem will be solve"they give me a date but don't take any action, i have also discuss with idea concern department but they are also not taking appropriate action.what can i do?please take an aapropriate action against idea punjab.

Idea Cellular Punjab — refund of security

R/SIR,
I have a connection of idea punjab no:[protected].i was change this connection from post paid to prepaid,and my security is not refund to me since 01/12/2010.I have visited the idea showroom many time for my cheque,they said cheque display in the computer but no cheque reached at my adress till 15/02/2011.

Every month pay the bill on date, i had pay the bill through debit card to your MY IDEA Show room Name satyam agency, that time sitting a lady and she swipe the card amount 400 rupees, But i had not recved the recpt. dedcut the amount my bank account but not transfer the payment . so i had complaint the noodle officer but she dont give the reply. That time my mobile no. is Erased . Pl provide the my no. and arjut the amount of rupees 400/-

    The Idea cellular has closed my mobile number [protected] Without any intimation on 2nd April 2011.When I complaint to Nishant Infotech Idea Office Ambikapur C.G.,One madem Ms Basanti told me that Your Number is Sold As a post paid to another person on 17 march 2011. I complaint to customer care, Mr. parwez of Head idea service Bilaspur and also Nodal Officer to Indore [protected] exten 2858.But still today my number is closed.

    Sir the same thing is with my another number [protected].

    you will be surprised to listen that Idea office has told me that we cannot solve your matter.this is not in my hand.

    Please take Serious Attention And Action in my case

    Sir on dated 20th Jan (Friday on 08:01pm) I get call from your costumer care Noyla madam.
    We talk on subject of deduction of my balance without any pr-information from you sir on that time she return of balance only rs150/-(one hundred fifty) where my balance is deducted more than 1500/-(one thousand five hundred)
    I ask about the my whole deducted balance (without pr-information and thay activat some unnecessary PAC on my mobile ([protected])) credited to my account she promised me she look out whole my account and she call me on dated 21st Jan (Saturday) any time in whole day and prove me that my balance is deduct process how's happen. I wait till date but no call nothing information from your costumer care.
    sir I am not beggar here to ask about my balance. idea deduct my balance without information me.
    Sir please I request you please credited all my balance witch deduct you. If your not tacking any serious action in my case I m going in noe consumer cort at case the file for harassment money.

      Dear sir,
      I was a customer of Idea cellular before 10 feb 11. Through MNP i have changed my operator and joined Aircel . At the time when i had joined Idea cellular i submitted 250Rs. as security money and at the time when i had applied for MNP i submitted excess payment over feb 2011 bill amount of Rs.159. Now i want my security money (250 Rs.) and my excess bill payment of feb 11 (159 Rs.) i.e 250+159=409 Rs. Refunded to me. For this purpose i have allready submitted a written request to one of Idea store at Asheesh communication 487/36 national market peera garhi paschim vihar new delhi-87 on 22/02/11 but i have not got any refund from Idea. So respected sir therefore i request you to help me to get security money & excess payment of bill amount as soon as possible.         Be careful when you recharge the GPRS plan. Idea Cellular delays the plan so they can get you to use GPRS at 2ps per KB. On complaining the reply was like below,
        This is to inform you that the recharge amount of Rs.96/- got successful on 1st April 2011 18:25:40 Hence, you got charged from 31st March 2011 till 1st April 2011 18:43:1 as per the GPRS zero rental plan (usage charges - 2ps per KB). We express our inability to reverse the same as the charges are correctly charged.

        They are very powerful people so please be warned. No authority can control them so change to prepaid and keep the balance as low as possible to prevent unethical deductions and refusal to reimburse.

            The coupon of 19 rupees to lower local call rates has a wierd condition.

            I recharged my mobile on 5th feb with that.
            I again recharged on 6th march ie. (29 days later with one day remaining)

            One expects the previous period to collapse and new 30 day period to start.
            But since i recharged it before the previous period expired, my recharge on 6th march was unsuccessful.
            ie no lower local call rated applicable.
            Even after receiving the message that "successfully recharged with 19".

            I was under the impression that my call charges are lower only until yesterday when i used up 500 plus rupees.

            Idea — about deduction of rates

            recently i have taken a new idea liftime prepaid card having a charge of idea to idea 30 paise, idea to mobile local 50 paise and idea to landline local Rs. 1 but when i called on land line deduct Rs. 2.40 paise per minut. when i asked in customer care they had not give any response.
            can you provide you idea mobile no.
            Sir, I have sent 20 sms from my mobile to other nos. and my balance was detucted @1 Rs per sms, intead of rechaging a msg card of Rs 30. After complaining in Idea Consumer care their executive says that there is no sms pack works in 31st dec and 1st January and for information they had sent me a msg for this, But I dont find any type of msg from Idea, So kindly solve my problem as soon as possible.

                  I'm just fed up of constant messages received from IZ- Idea containing the same old annoying offers that any I'm not interested in. And more so, they send it at any time they like, not caring for the customer preferences.

                  Hi I have been an idea customer for the past 7 years, each year i travel to Europe from June to September .Now i am in Italy...Last year I was able to send an sms to India from Europe using my Indian sim...however this year my sms is being blocked by Idea...
                  If after a period of 3 weeks i do not send an sms or make a call Idea will cancel my number.
                  Idea did not inform me of this while i was in india ...i do not want to loose my number as it is vital for business...i have tried to contact various roaming packages offered by idea but get no response...kindly advise me...sincerely Alan Butler

                    Hi,

                    I am not ready to pay the bill due to i got wrong information regarding my bill.

                    I had received 1 call on dated 28th Jan regarding Rs75.00 discount on activation on E bill without any cost and i had activated that service , i have received the confirmation for the same on 4th Feb 2011.

                    Then i called for the same on the customer care helpline number regarding the bill some lady had received the call and told me that service had been activated on dated 4th March. Then i got the called from customer care regarding the bill payment and i was ask him the bill copy she says the bill is delivered on my email id i have ask the bill amount she told me Rs.407.00 also ask the discount of Rs.75.00 she told me there is no any scheme like that and she also told me that the charges is Rs.450.00 on time which is non refundable then i ask o her transfer the call to the manager she done it and the call had been transfer to some of person he don't know his designation he told me his name - Pandurang and his designation is Floor supervisor i told him again the designation is on paper or what he hold my call and ask someone and told me he is Team Leader he also not understand the English and showing attitude on call he told me you have to pay the one time charges that is 450 and asking me the number which somebody called from the number from where i can get the number .
                    I do not want this service i want to cancel the connection with immediate effect if you have such kind of persons in the Organization i want to think again on it.

                    I need positive reply on it.and do not call me again for the reason.

Then I have purchase other Connection for other network. But i can’t ignore my past idea no because that number is very important for me. But now I am happy my number is not changed and I have throughout IDEA connection. And my 25 friends are change idea connection. All are said to me idea is very waste service.

                          Case History; My mobile number is [protected], I made the cal on 22/02/2011 and
                          That call duration was 38:55sec, as per ma cal rate charge will 3.90rs., but chage took 40.60rs.
                          After this I called custumer care but not get and good response after this I walked service center on tonk road and said abt my probem, he told me mr. manoj that was the server problem and now ur problem will shourt out with in 24 our but problem is not resolve yet………
                          Complain no.for detect wrong chargege is [protected]………..
                          After it I made more calls for customer care but not get any any solution…every time they use to disconnect the call or your problem will shourt out with in 24hr but today is 04/03/2011 nad I have not got any response from Idea Cellular Ltd.
                          If m customer and got the information by Idea Cellular Limited employees and not
                          received then whom should I contact to solutions if their higher authority also not
                          given solution.

                          Why should suffer always customers due to mistake / lack of knowledge of employees ??

                          I requested to company please refund my balance but they are not ready to give. But
                          as per below communications written "Under the recharge of Rs 40.60rs, the local Idea to
                          Idea calling is
                          charged @ 10 paise per minute as per the eligibility of your number."

                            I am using idea service since 2005 now i like to change my service provider so i have taken UPC code and filled the form from BSNL .my UPC IY944556 exp date is 21/03/2011 3 times idea has rejected due to mismatch o[censored]PC code my code is absoletly correct then i haved once again taken UPC code on 22/3/2011 UPC code IY943482 idea again rejected my request due to UPC mismatch til date i have re-requested several time but answer was always rejected due to UPC mismatch.BSNL person has also talked with idea person they have told raise your request this time we accept but same result .

                              Dear Team,

                              My name is Arvind Kumar and I have a Postpaid connection of Idea Cellular Ltd ( [protected]) and I am using this number since 21/June/2006. And this is my business number and my all the bussiness depend on this number.

                              Idea company charged me some unnecessary access bills for Internet surfing, before activating Internet service I called to customer care executive and confirm the charges and as per call centre people, I have to pay only 89/- per month for Internet surfing. but they charged much more and the total bill was 3632/- and they closed my number without any information. After some time I received a call from Mr. N. K. Singh ( [protected]) and he said that unnecessary charges will be waived off and your number bill be activated after payment 2500/-, so I paid only 2500/-, as per commitment.

                              But I am taking follow up before December 2010 for activating this number. But there is no use, people are diverting from here and there, when I contact Idea Connect showroom they said contact customer care and when I called customer care then thety said contact Idea Connect showroom. I m frustated, so I also mail to (grievance.[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com, appellate.[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com) but there is no use.

                              I also contactted to Mr. N. K. Singh ( [protected]) who commite me for my number activation but now he does not receive my call.

                              I also want to inform you that Mr. Ashis ( [protected]) from grievance team talk to me around 10.54 am ( 10/03/2011) and he said that your fully sattlement has been done and one hard copy of the letter will be courier and soft copy will be sent to my e mail id.

                              But till now I did not get the same. Now they have alloted my number to any other person. How they can do the same to me, If I m the owner of this number [protected], and I m taking follow up continue and they people also commite me that same number will be activated.

                              So kindly do the needful and provide me my number [protected] at any how.

                                Many time I am Summiting the Address Proof dated 10.02.2011 in mysore Idea office @ Lakshmi Theater Idea customer care once again called u r nor submitting the address proof once again i went Idea office enquired again address proof papers missed i reporting through Customer care called to 198 thay are not responding properly then thay are borred My Caller ID again I called to customer care pepul sir again submitting the Address Prof on 24.02.2011 even today many remainders also thay are not corrected my problem. I dont know who is the nex person to attend and correct the above said problem. I am faceing very much of problem regarding this Issue. realy worst service from the Idea

                                  My number [protected] was successfully ported to aircel on 11th march from Idea cellular. My idea sim automatically got deactivated and my new aircel sim got activated.

                                  Today on 28th march I used my Idea sim to retrieve my contacts saved on sim and realised my idea sim is still activated. I was able to call idea call centre and all other numbers.

                                  What the hell is going on? My number is activated on two different sims of two different subscriber.
                                  Idea had deactivated it on 11th march and then reactivated it

                                  I had called customer care regarding it from idea sim, they had no clue that my number is ported with aircel, according to them my account is still running with idea and I am fradulantly being charged monthly rental by Idea cellular.

                                  Itrs a fraud of duplicacy of my number on idea sim by idea cellular after succesfully being ported to aircel network.

                                    In the pevious email I had mentioned the person's name who was rude & arrogant. His name is Sachin Shinde and not Sachin More. I was told the wrong name as there are 2 Sachin's working in the Powai Gallery

                                    Dear Sir,
                                    My name is Priyanka Nair and I wanted to change my service from BPL postpaid to IDEA postpaid connection.
                                    The number to be ported is
                                    I have been visiting & calling the Powai Idea Gallery gallery regularly but its been over a month & yet not proceeded further.

                                    1. I was told that it would be done within 7 days, on the 10th day when I called them, they said that the porting no wasn't accepted & it was wrong though it was generated by me in front of them at the gallery.
                                    2. Later on the same porting no was accepted. I was again told that it would be done within 7 days. After patiently waiting for 11 days, gallery people told me that they had made mistake in entering my no & that they had entered my alternate no. I have no alternate no & I kept wondering why would I enter any alternate no when I don't have any alternate no. That same day i was also made to speak with Mr. Sachin Shinde, another employee working in the Powai Idea Gallery located in Galleria, Hiranandani gardens, Powai. He was extremely arrogant, rude & had no sense in how to speak with a customer. I was again told to wait for 7 days & that this time it would be logged in.
                                    3. My no was logged in but its been over 20 days, yet now on calling the gallery, I am told that it was logged in & not proceeded further.
                                    4. In between, around 13 days back I had a talk with Mr. Aslam through the customer care & was given the Complaint No 17067620. I was told that it would be addressed within 24 hrs. Its now 13 days & yet the complain shows "in process" status.

                                    I am totally tired. I didn't know I would have to go through so much head ache to just change my service. Idea Cellular service is good in marketing & am sure in service too. But a company invests money in marketing to get customers. But all the money is in vain if you don't know how to manage them.
                                    This attitude would definitely throw away the customers to other service providers.

                                    It now seems like coming to Idea for service was the worst decision, which just led to waste of my precious time & energy.

                                        My name is Anwaar Ahmad and i was using a idea postpaid sim ([protected]). But just because of the access charge that they had charged me i terminate the services. and now they bill according to them is Rs 1800. I dont have any problem in submitting the bill that i have used. But the collection people is harrassing my family. The collectors dont have manners how to talk.. They are just disgusting. They are making my life like hell. And the collectors are informing each and everyone that i havent paid the bill. They are insulting me in front of my freinds. And whenever I talk to collector i ask to transfer the call to Team Leader but they didnt do that. And if i ask there name they just simply ignore it.. I request you to sir kindly help me out.
