My idea connection number is [protected]. I raised a slow speed GPRS complaint on Dec 26th, 2010. No proper response from the customer care. Guess how many times I called up for the same problem.... till 15th Jan, 2011 it was 21 times.... whenever I called up one or the other executive will pick the call and raise new complaint all the times... some of the reference ticket numbers are as follows...[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected].....
They confirmed a tech. visit to my place on 14th Jan, 2011 @5pm by Aruna (this is because I raised a request to cancel my connection...!). This confirmation was given to me, for my 13th Jan, 2011 call. On 14th Jan, I was waiting waiting waiting for that tech visit... finally as usual fed up of them, so I called them, they said as per last request the tech guys might come and resolve my problem on 19th Jan, 2011.... I'm the poor customer, who paid the monthly bills well in advance (even before the bill generation).....
Sad part was.... I walked up to the nearest IDEA centre (Fraser town), they suggested me to go to Richmond Circle centre... Poor customer, I went there tooooo... (on 8th, Jan 2011). There was only one representative (named Vinod Kumar) who was handling (not at all... efficient...!) all the queries (around 20).... his colleague was on their own personal duties....!!!!
Another comedy was, Customer care executive are thinking that the customer's are not to be tensed or always need to be cool in all their mistakes...!!! What kind of service providers, they are!!!
This might be their best IDEA.... What an IDEA sirji....?

I would like to inform the people, who are reading this complaint.... PLEASE DO NOT GO WITH IDEA CONNECTION....!!!!

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I am 100% confident that I have not made any calls to the above number on 26th Nov 2010 but still I have been charged for more than 900 Rupees in Dec Bill.

    Totally 5 calls are reported in the bill and surprisingly there is not even a single second delay between contigous calls which is definitly can not be done by a human being.

    But Unfortunately I have no proof that I have not made that call. IDEA authorites dont rely on my Truthness.

    Please let me know how should I proceed in this case.

      Who ever providing service in mentioned location, I dont know what they are doing, every month I have to request their service providers to unbarred my outgoing calls, Alyays they are giving temparory solution. If some one is working their having responability can call me and can get the right feedback which will help them to make their customers satisfy.
      I, GOPAL KUMAR NO. [protected], HAS MADE DUE PAYMENT WITHIN DUE DATE. MY OUTGOING SERVICE IS STOPED. WHEN I TALKED TO CUSTOMER CARE THEY NOT PROPERLY TAKE UP AND NOT GIVEN RESPONSE RIGHTLY AND CUT THE CALL WITHOUT CLARIFY MY POINT.

        I have an IDEA prepaid number from Rudrpur. I keep getting SMS messages saying I have subscribed for something or the other THAT I HAVE NOT ACTIVATED MYSELF (example: "Monsoon Bonanza Challenge"). Subsequently, money gets deducted every day for "value added services" THAT I HAVE NOT ACTIVATED MYSELF and am not even aware of. Every time I call to make a complaint about this, my complaint is not registered saying it is an "invalid complaint" and that their "records" show that the VAS was activated by me. They keep misdirecting me to different "customer care" numbers, which either automatically get disconnected after an invalid message or are meant for totally unrelated services. The "customer care" agents also repeatedly refuse to give me information about where I could submit a written complaint about this saying "that information is unavailable". All they do is "deactivate" the service, only to send me another sms soon enough... and the whole fraud cycle starts all over again!

        Idea — Deduct Amount from my Account

        From 8 june, 2009 to 9 june, 2009 I lost Rs 9 from my IDEA account number [protected]. This is a prepaid number. When I call to cusmtomer care they told me that I sent SMS in roaming at night. But in reality I have not sent any message on these days from my account. I rarely used SMS service through last 3 years. I usualy prefer to call rather than SMS. When I ask to customer to stop my SMS service they refused. I asked the number on which I sent SMS as per their record but they refused to give me numbers details. I also lost Rs 26 some days ago but that time I am not sure. But when I watch my account reality comes and in two consecutive days Rs 9.00 deducted from my account. So please help me on this.

        Idea Prepaid — automatic charge deduction

        Dear Idea..
        I have frequently noticing automatic deduction of charges from my prepaid account.
        I have informed your customer care officials n number of times, asked them @ closing all the facilities (sms, club membersip blah blah) that would accompany when I recharge but it seems nothing is working out.It is extremely frustrating, annoying circumstances I have been facing.Please take up this issue ASAP and relieve us from such fraud.

        My name is Ramesha customer of idea cellar with mobile number [protected]. Raised a service request for deducting my money when I access the internet even though after 5 Rs internet package is activated.
        Incident details: The 3rd of January I had activated 5 rs internet package, after successful active of the service started using the service. Used 3.41 MB of data in my 75 MB quota. Even though at first time 69.88 rs and second time 1.18 rs deducted.
        For the above I had raised a ticket with idea cellular to refund on the same day and request no: 1-[protected] the resolution time given is on or before 04-Jan-2011 12.48 PM.
        But till now my request is not processed and the customer care executives not responding properly on the request I had made. If I ask to connect supervisor or manager to discuss on the above matter they are putting me in hold and disconnecting after 25-30 minutes. I am so frustrated following it with you.
        I never expected this kind of support from the leading cellar company like you and kindly look in to this and solve the problem ASAP. Otherwise tell me if you can’t resolve problem, I will switch to different company who can give me the better service and satisfaction.

        i have recharged my IDEA PRE PAID mobile no [protected]. through ICICI-Netbanking. The recharge amount was Rs. 25/-. the amount was deducted from my net-banking dedit card as well. & REF. NO. is[protected] But i have not received the talktime as yet. pl do the needfull

        Idea — Deducting Amount

        i requested sevaral times in idea cuastomer care to deactivate Channel 99 renued, customer care responded it allready deactivated these services, and no other services activated in your account. 2 days before Igot a message that channel 99 is renewed to your mobile. But I have not activated that service. Idea service got automatically activated & I lost Rs.5 from my balance. What can I do? Plz deactive my avoide service as soon as possible.

        yes idea is deducting customers balance by providing automatic services according to their own will . its true if they continue like this they will loose all there customer although they provide very good internet speed and signal. i started using idea on my phone only for net .and keep no balance in it. EVEN my other family members have stoped using it. they are just spoilling there reputation in market.

          My outgoing calls were barred from sunday i.e., 2 jan, 2011 due to my exceeding unbilled amount. I got to know that my unbilled amount has reached rs 3100.
          I was using idea prepaid connection for years and recently i got it converted into postpaid.My number is [protected] and has a credit limit of rs 500.
          I had paid the bill of first month from 26th nov to 16 dec which was rs 270 on 27 dec. At that time my idea account was showing an unbilled amount of rs 150.
          On 28 dec i requested for rs 98 GPRS plan , which was activated the same day. So, when i talked to customer care executive, he told me that the main reason for your inflated unbilled amount is beacuse of your gprs plan since all the discounts i.e., 2 gb free data usage will be given at the time of final billing for the period.

          However after some calculations i reached to some interesting conclusions.
          I would like to draw your kind attention to these facts.
          1. If no gprs plan is activated on your mobile then idea charges 2pkb for browsing and downloading.
          2. Now 2GB = 2,097,152KB
          So, if you are using 2gb of the plan then it will nearly cost you rs 41,943.


          So, i wanted to know that if am going to use internet on my mobile should i have to maintain this much credit beacuse by using for nearly 5 days my unbilled amount reached to around rs 3000...

          Please help me out ASAP , i am in great dilemma.

              Please switch off your phone and start it by pressing the star button(*), the calling button and the zero (0).

              This would take you to the MMS internal settings.

              Just select Yes and it would contact IDEA and get settings.

              hope your problem would be solved FOREVER!

                Activated dnd service to my number on 5th of april. waited for 45days after that to till receiving msg from then. while giving the complaints they where asking me to wait another 45 days more. why the dnd service. y goverment is not taken any actions against them

                they are sending the numbers something like ID-STOCKEXC, ID-HITS, ID-BHAKTI, ID-M RADIO etc.,

                Idea Cellular — receving promtional sms and calls after DND ACTIVATED

                this is to inform that MYSELF ashok kadyan, who is using idea no- [protected] since almost 3 years i got DND service activated on my no . on 31/08/2008, but irrespective of that i hve been recieving unneccsary massage from varoius number.
                like-i recieved a massage from AD-HT-MEDIA through msg centre no [protected].
                according to ur policy if DND is activated any type of promtional sms or any any marketing calll should not be come on this no. but m stilll getting promtional sms n callls from various marketing company when i complained on idea customer care and i did not get any positive response from executive side when i ask to esclation executives disconnect my calll n also barred my customer care help line.. so its the request that kindly look at the matter and do need full as sooon as possible ..

                  I was continiously getting calls from Idea since last 30 days for submission of documents for my idea number and the prerecorded call says that for further information call 51235, whenever I call at the same number I heard the same message again and no further information was available.

                  Somehow I got to know that I need to submit my ID proof and Address proof at nearest My Idea. I went to Vashundhra (Ghaziabad) My Idea center and submitted the copy of my PAN card (ID Proof) and Gas connection papers (for address proof) 20 days ago via application number 1-[protected]. But those calls did not stopped at all.

                  Suddenly after 7 days of proofs submission I got a SMS from idea saying I wont be able to make any outgoings as my documents are not submitted. I went to the same My Idea center immediately and asked that I had submitted my documents already then why it is not being addressed. They told me that they have got an rejection for Proof of Address (gas connection papers are not acceptable, Strangeeee). I again submitted the copy of my Driving License for the same.

                  After that submission of further documents it had been 6 more days, but my outgoings were not resumed at all. I tried to call customer care, wrote an e-mail to customer care mailbox, but nobody helped, even they had not replied to my query on e-mail. I also wrote an e-mail to their grivance cell, but in vane again.

                  At last of the customer care manager Lokesh Kumar and her telecaller Indu, informed me that the address I used to get this number and the address I am submitting right now are not same thats why they are not activating my number. I took this number at my MBA hostel room's address (coz idea was providing the number based on that at that time) 6 years ago. Now when I had my own home at Vaishali Ghaziabad, I am true to submit my correct residence proof, but they want the same address proof of my IME hostel room. They think that a person should spend all his life in a hostel room/rented accomodation or so. If somebody had changed his address he had to loose his number than.

                  I dont know whether this complain will be entertained by someone or not. But idea is not at all careing for their loyal customers at all. I would suggest all those who wish to go for idea, please do not for them, they are the worst service provider. They dont want to retain their old customers even.
                  Can someone tell me the procedure to raise a complain at consumer court.

                    Idea Net Setter — NOT GETTING SPEED

                    I'M PURCHASED IDEA NET SETTER WITH POSTPAID PLAN RUPEES 500 WITH AN OFFER O[censored]NLIMITED DOWNLOADING.
                    BUT I'DONT EVEN GETTING 5KPBS OF DOWNLOAD SPEED.

                    I'M USUALLY GETTING LESS THAN 2 KPBS DOWNLOAD SPEED.
                    WHAT A CHEATING.

                      I today I have received a call from [protected], a lady was there on call. She told me that “I am calling from idea and this is a verification call, confirm your Name”. I replied” My name is Vinay Dahima”. Then she requested to confirm whether this number ([protected]) belongs to me. I have confirmed the same.
                      Then she said your number is verified and your number is selected as a special, you can listen free devotional songs for one year by dialing (some 4 digit number, which I forgot). Whether you want to available this free service, NO charge will be deducted for this service.
                      I replied if it a free service then Yes. Finally call was finished.
                      Today evening I found that I have around Rs. 200/- less balance in my account. I checked and complained this to customer service executive on 12345, Mr. Pradeep was there he told me that Rs 198/- deducted for devotional songs, I told him that I have been told false” that this is a free service’so please adjust this fraudent deduction back to my account. He told that hold on line, call will be transferred to Senior Executive. I was on hold for 9 minutes, but no response except company promotion audio.
                      Then I reached to Shop, from where I had purchased that sim ([protected]). He arranged my talk with another idea executive Mr. Vikas, I have again briefed him about the same complaint.
                      Therefore considering the above information I again say that that was totally a fraud case and kindly adjust my Rs 198/. Otherwise I will approach to TRAI and consumer affairs.

                        I would like to inform you that my number([protected]) billing address is E/177, ward no 2 mehrauli, (Nr new water tank) 110030,i was using this number from 2005 i was having CLIR facility on same number. I was using this facility since 2006. Moreover, whenever i used to receive any intimation from idea cellular limited , I always used to fulfilled all the necessary requirements. but on 29 december 2010 around 5 PM i got a call from idea cellular that do you wanted to give us feedback about our services i said that your network prob is biggest problem, your costumer care executives dont give us proper feed back i told him that i am using this number because its having CLIR facility i complaint him aout their services and all he got very much annoyed with me. But, on 31 december 2010 my CLIR facility got disconnected without giving me any intimation or information. when i called to costumer care they did not given me satisfactory answer and told me that they had send me the SMS regarding this and you have to submit the revlant document ot reactivate it . i requested them that please do not do like this activate my CLIR and give me at least 1 weeks time so that i can full fill all the formalities again from the higher authorities. I am looking forward to a positive response from your side. please help me i am in very much dipression from that that day. i sent 2 complaints through E-mail on 01 and 6 january 2011 also that it happend with me but they did not even send any reply to me, ithis idea cellular is very bad company.

                          The clause 12 of Telcommunication MNP Regulations 2009 for grounds of rejection of porting is being misused by many service providers thereby not allowing subscribers to port. Especially clause 12 (h) is being highly misused for stoppage of porting. I can categorically state that there is malicious intent by any operator to stall or delay porting requests.

                          I ve applied for MNP before 10 days to ur idea centre at hari nagar,west delhi to miss chanchal. i also had done all formalities related to this n then she assured me tat i ll get it within 7 days. now it s 10th day of all this but i havn't got my idea connection. Today i went there at ur idea office but only assurance given to me tat i ll get it in 2 hrs only. its bout 4 hrs but there s no response till now. Is this not the valid reason to go to consumer court??? waiting for ur quick response.

                            At the time of SIM issuance, i have submitted my driving licence to the Issuer as an ID proof and i'm using the idea connection from the last 7 years and my mobile no. is [protected] but recently, i'm getting the message on every call i make that i've to resubmit my ID proof.

                            I called at Idea Care and contacted TAJWAR and VINAY KUMAR and asked for my last id proof i'd submitted but they are not providing any details and asking for new proof.

                            I urge you to please look into the matter as i hope that idea has lost my id proof which can be later for any illegal things.

                            Also they are asking me to resubmit the proof or they are threatning me that they'll close my no.

                            Please take strict action against idea for such a casual attitude on customer complaint and not resolving the customer queries and also ask them to confirm where is my last id proof which i'd submitted at the issuance of SIM.

                                Myself Minal Karanjule.I have purchased Idea Netsetter 4 months back from Nigadi,Pune.I am paying bills regularly ..yesterday on 6th January 2011 ..i paid my last month bill of Rs 785/- to Pimple Saudagar Idea Shop by swapping my ATM Card.that person stting on the desk he swapped my card 2 times..by saying only one transaction has been done..but when i checked with my Bank Statement he swapped my ATM Card for 2 times.means785+785= Rs1570.total deducted form my account now when i asked about this problem they are refuse to say anything.as well saying that do whatever u want??
                                This means what r IDEA using Rawdi gang in their shops..who eats customer's money..please tell me what action i can take??

                                  i am vikram singh rajpurohit,and my idea number is [protected].yesterday i have called to your customer care(12345) to activated 'chota RBT' on my number ,and the agent said it will be activated into 4 hours.and in today morning i found that you idea have charged rupees 15 four it so i called again on 12345.and placed a complained.which should be resolved at 03.00 pm.and i have got a resolution call at 12.37 from idea.and the reprasantative (balvinder) said that the balance of rupees 15 will be refund to me into 15 mints and the chota rbt will activated soon.i havn't got my balance so i called again to 12345,your agent madhulika and a another one havn't gave me info abt why i havn't got mah balance they said that we have taken a complained. again.so just wavour my balance.

                                    Idea Cellular Ltd. — Wrongly balance deduction & Not refunded again

                                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                                    I have taken a connection of Idea Cellular Ltd. They have charged a Rs 35. under the the account of GPRS usages But I have already activated the GPRS plan of Rs 98 Where the browsing limit is 6 GB. I have not crossed the limit but charged under the same head. I have given the complain regarding this having the complain no [protected]. they have closed the case but not refunded the same money in my account.

                                    So i need your help.I shall ever remain greatfull to you.

                                      i am pramode kumar from mangalore having mobile number [protected], working as a media person and using idea sim for the past several years. compare to other circle, in karnataka, specially in mangalore, your service is not good. even many time, they have charged (debited) some of my money without bringing to my notice. and finally, after clean checkup they apologised also. yesterday, midnight, something around (1:17 am) i got an message, rs. 30 debited for musicmasti. today (6/1/2011), i contacted your customer care person, he explained... it was activated on 3rd by 6.10 pm. it was an baseless statement. by that time, i have not received any call from your customer service or even message. this is not the question of 30 rupees. you have to take it as a serious matter and set right the problems. [i am taking this into consumer court (forum) - this is for your attention]

                                      Idea Network — Worst service and most responsibility

                                      Sir,
                                      I am a customer of Idea net work in AP Circle with mobile no [protected]. I am using LG GX 300 handset.
                                      I took this this post paid connection on[protected] by paying an initial deposit of Rs 500/-
                                      Since then I have been continuously trying to access GPRS connection to my Laptop but in vained.
                                      In this respect I spoke with their team for so many hours and requested them to properly guide me.
                                      But no one was there who had sound knowledge and they made me to change my laptop settings, software etc. so many times without proper reason.
                                      I might called them for more than hundred times and had spoken with them for more than forty hours in different sessions but I could not.
                                      There after I approached the Nodal Officer and Appellate authority also. To be say literally, these two people are the most irresponsible and worst people. They never come in touch. That Nodal Officer’s no[protected] was always busy and after three rings IVRS automatically opens and I would be charged each and every time.
                                      And regd. that Appellate authority no [protected] – he never attempt the call even though it was ringing continuously.
                                      The interesting thing here is I am enjoying well with Uninor net work with the same Handset

                                      Hence I finally request the authorities concern to please look into this matter and take severe action against them

                                        hi i am atul barve, i receive a message from Idea Cellular that Your Documents are not found according to DoT, about 24 Dec 2010. and i using this number-[protected] since last five years. for this I have submitted the documents in an office of IDEA located at R.R. Communication, A-35, Indrapuri, Raisen Road, Bhopal on 30/12/2010. today i receive the same SMS again. for this i had discussed with customer care, he told me that your status is not changed till date, and suggested me to go to office and tell them again to change the status. My point is why they are again n again disturbing us once we have submitted our documents.

                                        hi i am Bijay Kumar Mohanta, i receive a message from Idea Cellular that Your Documents are not found till date according to Date of activation:29th may'12. and i using this number-[protected] since last7days.But Yesterday my mobile number was found deactivated. In the time of issuing the card i have allready summited my doccument(1 passport size photograph, pan card photo copy and one LIC Payment received Photo copy as per shopkeeper asking for adress proof). for this i had discussed with customer care, he told me that your doccument is not summited till date, and suggested me to go to office and tell them again to summit the doccument. My point is why they are again n again disturbing us once we have submitted our documents.
