I am using idea no. [protected] which is redgister in the name of myself ( Sagar Amte) from last 5 years. As per goverment rules i have submited my documents at the time of activation. Company demendad for docmunts again in dec 2010. According to goverment rule i submeted it again after reciveing company sms. They replay for that WE HAVE RECIVED OUR DOCMUNTS; IT IS UNDER VALIDATION BASED ON TRAI GUIDELINES this sms come on 17/12/2010. Again on 01/01/2011 another sms came from company saying that AAPKA IDEA APPLICATION FORM APOORNA HONE KI WAJHA SE VAIDH NAHI HAI. ASUVIDHA SE BACHNE KE LIYE KRIPYA 72 HRS MEIN IDEA VIKRETA KE PASS USW DOBARA JAMA KAREIN. at the same time i called to cutomer care they replyed u have to submit docments as they are not valid but i have submited same documents which was given at the time of activation i also told them my problem i always use my number in national romeing from last 3 years so its not possible for me to come pune to just submit documents when i was there in pune gone to submit the documents at bibewadi corner satara road, pune idea cellular showroom. They dident demand me for any extra documents as i ask them is that enough or does any extra docmunts required they said nothing extra required. Now company is demending more documents as i use the number in national roaming its not possible for me to go pune & resubmit it. As i told it to custmer care but they are not agree & now they have deactivate my number on 05/01/2011 again i called to custmer care & requested to activate the number as i use it in roaming & i am not in any fault i have submit documents in the given time. Now i am facing lot of promlem because of deactived number i have become almost handicaped without having a mobile. please do the needfull

    I was using a postpaid number from Idea [protected] from around one year and I have always paid bills on time. My wife went my hometown on Oct 15th with this number and we forgot to pay the bills for Oct month. On 10th Nov my number got disconnected without any prior information. I got message for bill payment and tried to pay the bill online but unfortunately forgot my online account password. I tried to reset the password but was not able to do that because password is sent on the mobile number and it was disconnected. On 27th Nov I got a call from Idea about my bill payment and asked them why they have disconnected my number without any information and finally agreed to pay the bill without any late fee. I couldn't pay the bill on the same day and day after because I was busy in the office and returned very late to my home. On 29th a representative from Idea (with number [protected]) called my parents and all my in-laws and talked in very rough language and also used abusive words about me. Its not understandable to me why this has happened and how can Idea people talk like this and ruin my image in front of my relatives. I am planning to take legal action against this because this is not acceptable and it has happened even after I was ready to make the payment.

    There is no one in Idea to take up this complaint and comment. I have also sent a mail to them at ccare.[protected]@idea.adityabirla.com but no one replied till now. It seems they don't care about customer and all Hippocrates are sitting there in the company. I am going to send legal notice to Idea cellular as they have ruined my image.

    I was knowing that Idea's comment was just an excuse. Its third day I have provided my contact details and still no communication. God Bless Idea Cellular.

    What a shameful behaviour idea people are doing with customer. They have commented here that they tried to contact me and then asked my contact details but after 8 days I got a call from a person saying that he is calling from some Patiala house court and Idea have registered a case against me regarding non payment. I thought they will show some respect for their customer's complaint and hence tried to resolve the issue with this customer complaint site but these people are disgusting and dont understand customer feelings.
    I am not going to wait now and take further action.

      In every two months my mobile function has been closed with out giving any pre notification.

      Just two months back i have submitted all the details to Idea channel partner.

      And after that again my mobile services has been with hold. And the reson is same that is i have not submitted the details.
      I did not understand that how many times i have to submit the documents and what will be my interval time of submission of my document.
      Due to this i am suffering a lot, My family is living in Jamshedpur and due to this today i can not cantact to them.
      It is very unfortunate that without any reason i have been penalised today. The thing is that i have submitted all the documents to your concerned channel partner. whether they have deposited the same to you i dont know niether i concerned with that.
      I hope i[censored] required any sort of document you first give intimation to me along with the minimum required time.
      By which i can submit the document to your nearest channel partner.

          Hello Sir,
          I have been using Idea netsetter for over two years from mid august 2010 due to some problem at tower(BTS) I stopped getting data services. I logged complaint to customer care but nothing happened. A week later services were restored but only for 5-6 days. I reopened my complaint and called nodal office for the same, but no positive action was taken by Idea Cellular. As a result in november starting I got my connection disconnected. Now I am receiving calls and notices from Idea Cellular to pay outstanding Amount of Rs. 643 as the next billing cycle started a day before I got my connection terminated.

          I wasn't able to use data services for three months of which I have paid them for two months yet they are asking me to pay for another month. I see no reason to pay them as Idea Cellular was unable to provide me data services(EDGE) from august 2010 onwards.

          They have threatened me to file a case of forgery and cheating. But actually Idea Cellular is cheating consumer.

          >They should ethically refund me all payment made After 12th August as they couldn't fulfill there part of deal and yet they are sending me notices.

          I request you to please look into the matter and guide me what should be done. Its a clear violation of consumer rights and safety. They have caused enough problems already.

          I understand that next bill was generated but I was unable to use your services for nearly three months as there was some problem at your BTS of which I have even paid for two months.           I have been using Idea Netsetter for over two years. I never had a problem with your services until August 2011. In mid-august due to some problem at your BTS, I was unable to avail EDGE connectivity while I could still get GPRS services. Due to lack of Edge connectivity I was unable to open any sites; all requests would just time out. I reported the problem to the customer care but no action was taken by your technical team. I reopened my complaint 2-3 times and every time I was told my complaint has been forwarded to the technical team and I will be contacted for the same.
          But I never received a call. The services were restored around 15 days after logging my complaint with the customer care but lasted only a week.
          Again I reopened my complaint and called the nodal office. I was promised a solution in 24 hours and a notification call for the same. And as expected it never happened.
          As a result I decided to stop using your wireless internet services and got it terminated at an Idea store.
          Now a few days back I received a notice from your legal advisor to pay an amount of Rs. 643 as the next bill cycle started when I got my connection terminated.

          1. I have been using Idea netsetter for over two years and despite having no connectivity for three months, I have paid bill for two months. Technically I shouldn’t have paid you for the services from August only.
          2. NOT EVEN ONE CALL BACK FROM THE CUSTOMER CARE IN THE MENTIONED PERIOD.
          3. A notice is sent to me threatening me of filing a case in the court and stating that ‘ My intentions while taking the connections were to avail services without paying and cheating in you guys.
          What a responsible behaviour!!

          I expect a full waiver for the outstanding amount (Rs.643) and an explanation for the irresponsible behaviour of your Customer Care , Technical Team and inconvenience caused.

          Kindly look into the matter and please do the needful. And REPLY.

          Idea — Not Fulfilling Our Demands

          My Self Swati .

          From Last Month I m Trying to catch up the IDEA Customer Services Bt They are not responding properly to customers,

          They even cant give the proper way to deactivate any of the services they provide.
          And also cant recharge our phone bcoz the B/C is as it is.

            I may be repeating this Complaint once again but can't resisit.

            My name is PK Nair having Idea Cellular MBL No.[protected].

            Idea Cellular as and when they feel send an SMS stating that

            From IDEA 43030.

            "Keyword UNSUB FILMY. Thank you for activating SMS Filmy. Subscription charges Rs.10/week and validity 7 day. Deact Toll Free No.155223".

            This is really frustrating as I have never given any requisiton for activation. Moreover, this is the 3rd or 4th time, Idea Cellular is indulging in such cheap activities.

            In the past also they have deducted from my A/c. and I have put several mails and also spoke to their Customer Service. In fact, in one of the occasion, they have even refunded me Rs.10/- and sent a message that this will not be repeated.

            Inspite of the above, today on 2nd Jan. 2011, I once again got the above msg. and deducted my Account by Rs.10/-.

            Is this the way to treat a Consumer who tries to be loyal with Idea .................Sirji Shame on you.

            Pls. arrange to sort out this issue once for all and give me my refund back.

            Secondly, I do not want to continue with this Number. I have a Dolphin Mobile No. which is 1000 times better than Idea. They do not deduct any amount without my knowledge.

            Idea Cellular — Unauthorised deduction without asking for service

            We are observing for last 4 months whenever we recharge my mobile [protected] , Rs 70 gets deducted from my balance and it is happening regularly. We have complaint the same to service provider many times but they always promise that from next time it will not happen.
            This eally very bad for a customer who is using this no for last 5 years.
            We are really fed up with the services of the same.
            Request you to help us to get back the balances at the earliest.

              IDEA MOBILE — deducting money for unsubscribe package

              yes, these people are really fraud's who always interested in making money. one week ago, i passed through the same situations. on 6 june 2009, they suddenly deducted Rs.30 for a sevice which they say will reduce std call rates. i am registered in the national dnd 4months ago and when i asked them how the plan get activated, they say i had call on my phone and i choosed it. i never had such call. they say they will refund it within 12hrs. but nothing happens. when i again called them, they said i had activated another plan, not this one. r they try to help us or to cheat us?please reply how should i get the refund or where to put my complaints. i am also fed up with their custmer care..

                I was bought idea net setter on last week but its working upto the mark. as per the shopkeeper the minimum speed is 256 kbps and maximum upto 3.1 mbps but till now i got the maximum speed of 11.56 kbps only.

                so please help me out in this regard.

                  I have lodged so many complaints to de-activate the service on my mobile no.[protected] vide SR No. [protected](give by idea). But instead of de-activating the services, they are contineuouly deducting money from my balance. First i have lodged my complaint on 14.12.2010 after that on 21st, 25th , 28th and 30th Dec. Since then, no action has been taken. I have prepaid connection.
                  In this regard, I have written a complaint online to Idea(customer care, Nodel officer, delhi) I have not got any response.
                  It is my request that Services may be stop along with refund since i have lodged the complaint and sturn action may taken all the concerned employess who has not taken care of my complaint despite attending me since 14 Dec. I am enclosing the letter that i have sent to them.

                  Dear sir,
                  I am subscriber of mobile no.[protected] which is prepaid connection. Past one month I have noticed that my balance, in frequent days, got reduced. When I enquired from 198, it was surprised for me that some services is activated on my no. since June 10. From 14 Dec 2010., I am continuously requesting your official for de-activation the same. Despite several requests and conversations with your official on 198, the service has not been stopped.

                  On 14/12/2010, I have come to know that in a frequent days, my money is wiping out from my balance. On enquiry, it has been disclosed that some services is activated on my no. I have requested to de-activate the service. The person on 198 has assured for the de-activation of the same. But on the same day, Rs. 10/- has been deducted. On 21 Dec 2010, I again got surprised to know that Rs. 10/- has again been deducted. When I contacted your customer care, 198, for deduction, I have been told that your complaint has not been solved and accelerated to high level and same will be de-activated with refund which is deducted. On 25 Dec 2010, I had talk Mr. Sachin, Floor Supervisor to remind him about my complaints. He gave me same assurance as given by your costumer supports. I have got a SMS in this regard.
                  On 28 Dec 2010, It was again surprising for me that my balance had again been deducted. I, immediately, called on 198, firstly Ms. Sangeeta, Floor Supervisor attended me and gave all nonsense talk. She steped back by saying that no refunded will be given It was a long discussion but all in vain. When I asked the reason why the services has not been terminated after 14 days of my complaint, she has answer less.
                  I requested her to get me connect to some senior, Mr Priyanka Team Leader, this time attended me, and told the service has not been de-activated yet. When I asked the reason, she had also answerless. Only assurance has been given I will look into the problem, please call next day to check the status. In the whole process of talking, I have spent more than 4 hours with your official, but not fruitful result has been turn out.

                  This kind of attitude can not be expected and even can not be tolerated. From 14 dec 2010 to till date, I am not able to concentrate and always thinking of my problem which is continuously persist and not be take cared by your officials.

                  I am requesting your to pay the attention of my complaint and necessary action be taken against all the officials who are involved in it under intimating to me otherwise I have only option left to go to the shelter of consumer court.

                  A favour to early action will be highly appreciated.

                    I have purchased Idea Net Setter of worth Rs 2450 for internet services around six month ago from MHOW (INDORE,M.P), and using it in INDORE mainly.
                    But from the starting of the service, its speed is very low.
                    In-fact I have used it in JAIPUR(RAJ.) & VARANASI(U.P) for 20 days, and the speed was very good,
                    but in INDORE where i am living, the service is very poor, I have made numbers of complaints to the IDEA OFFICE through phone calls, personal meet and e-mails from the starting(six month) of the service,
                    They reply that they will correct the service soon
                    but they are just failed to give me a meaningful service till now.
                    I am regularly paying the BILL money of Rs 550/-(approx) per month in a hope that they will do in the coming days as per they reply me on every complaint.
                    but the result is just zero.
                    And I am just like suffering this service and angry on this.

                    My bill has now again generated of Rs 550/-(approx).

                        I have been using Idea cellular service for more than 5 years, recently they have sent a text message stating that the documents submitted for my mobile number doesn't comply with the government guidelines. So they have blocked all my outgoing calls and messages, but they have charged me more than Rs.13 stating that I have registered for 'Health tips' and 'Play contest service' which I have not registered.
                        Also note that since my outgoing messages are also blocked I cannot register for any services. Since my outgoing calls are blocked I cannot contact the customer care also, but I tried to contact customer care using another phone but they failed to give any justification for the charges.
                        I also facing same problem on my mobile [protected]
                        I tried to deactivate SMSs by sending SMS. 3 times I met to local dealer. But koi phayda nahi. Idea deducted so many money from 20/12/2010.Now I am going to Consumer court.

                            I had been using Spice(Now Idea in Karnataka) number from past 4 years. 3months back, i got a call from customer care informing me about a new postpaid plan for loyal customers. Since the offer was good, i thought of converting my prepaid to postpaid. For that they asked me to submit the necessary documents in the nearest Idea center. I did the same also paid the deposit 399rs for postpaid connection.

                            I was given a new sim and told that by 5 days, my old sim would be de activated and new sim which would be under the postpaid account will be activated. Accordingly, my prepaid number got de-activated. But the new sim was still inactive. This state of mine continued for a month(without the sim getting activated, was given all sorts of reasons when i used to call about my number status),even after repeated calls to Idea center(daily 2-3calls). The customer representative even started giving reasons that i was not a Idea customer at all before, my application for conversion was lost in Idea head office(for which i re submitted the id proofs and other necesary documents 2 times) etc.

                            I suffered all this trauma for a month, without my number which was a point of contact for others to me only later to realise that my number [protected] was recycled and it was bought by some other person in another district in Karnataka.
                            This is clear CASE OF NUMBER THEFT. After a huge argument with the customer representative, he gave me another number and the plan, without even a little bit of compensation.
                            Please advise what should be my future action. I will be approaching consumer forum shortly.

                                I am using the services of Idea for a number of years and have recommended a number of people to use the same, but of late the services of this company have gone from bad to worse.

                                I had got my cell ([protected]) charged on the 19th of december 2010 under a scheme of full talk time for rs. 275 and under this the bonus talktime of rs 25.68 was to be provided after 4 hours. I have spent a lot of my time and mony to get this, but till date this has not been provided. I have spoken to the call center no 12345 two times (and even to Mr Deepesh, the supervisor). They claim it has been credited and provide a lot o[censored]seless details. This has happened earlier two times. Hence, i am compelled to put in the complaint. Although the amount is small, but it speaks a lot about the intentions of the company and their methods of generating profit. Just imagine the profit they will make by duping thousans of other such consumers. I now understand why they give bonous talktime after four hours as many people forget about it. This method should be stopped immediately and the full talktime should be credited immediately. With number portability around the corner, many people will switch companies who do not fulfill terms of agreement.
                                i do not satisfied with your reply as till feb 2nd i have not got the said credit. i have put in another complaint. Sorry to say verry bad service.
                                please credit the bonus talk time and sms on [protected] or else i will switch to some other service provider
                                Deactivte the my music which we have not subscribed and add the 49 rs which has been deducted and inform us.

                                    i have been using this idea prepaid number since 2012 and when i reached to idea store (khushi communication, tri nagar) to link my aadhar card number with my prepaid number, they linked that but they told me that my number is showing under someone else's name. i contacted customer care to resolve this problem, they suggested me to resubmit the documents, i went back to the store (khushi communication, trinagar) along with my documents but they denied to accept the documents and told me to submit it to another idea store.                                       Dear Sir,

                                      This is Shripad Raut & I am using Idea Net Setter from 3rd December 2010. I bought Net setter & recharged of Rs 650/- on 3rd December 2010. The problem i am facing is i am not able to connect internet trough your net setter from 24th December. error 628 showing again & again. I contacted customer care executive 5 times. they said your balance is showing 0 & suggest to recharge of Rs 750 /-. I recharged my net setter immediatly on 25th December 2010 & after 24 hrs the same problem persist. then your customer care executive said “your 750 /- pack is activated & validity is 30 days & there is no problem from our side & contact to nearest Idea centre”.

                                      Today I contact at Chandrapur Idea centre. they said u have not recharge of Rs 750/- & previous Rs 650 /- surfing is still balance. On 25th december at 9:30 pm i got message from idea that your 750 /- recharge activated.

                                      Pls solve my problem as early as possible so that I can access internet without fail.

                                        Hi, i am writting from kerala.I regret to say that idea is the biggest fraud network in this state.I dont know what is the condition in other states.They are always cheating their customers.They always deduct balance from the accounts of customers without any cause.This is the main reason that why i called idea the fraud network.The another big problem of this network is poor customer service.They are not giving proper answers to callers and even they are charging for calls into customer care!.The voice clarity of this network is really poor while comparing with other networks.'an idea can change your life', when analysing this caption i think that they are trying to change their life into a better one by changing customers' life into bad one.

                                        Idea Cellular — Very very BAD service

                                        Hi, i am client of IDEA from last 7 years, and my family contains more than 10 postpaid connections.
                                        I recently took 2 corporate connection, and IDEA did 2 times verification for that and after that also they stopped my services 4 times.

                                        I really frustrated with IDEA Cellular
                                        I want to switch all my mobile connections, Please suggest me another best mobile service provider.
