Sir,
We residents of D- Block, House no. 121 Vikas Puri, near Aggarwal Sweets , N.Delhi 110018, would like to file a complaint against an illegal mobile tower of Idea cellular in our building.
The tower was installed without any permission from residents & it is effecting health of our children & seniors near by & in the building itself .

The landlord of the particular floor is not ready to remove & discontinue his agrement with the said company only for the sake of money.
Infact, now they are going to give the space even to vodafone for the same.

We request to pls. take a strict action & seal the tower for the sake of our health & environment.

Hope for the action ASAP.

I'm using Idea sim. brought on 23/01/11 in this networking i'm not able to check the message count per day or daily use. i have been to nearest Idea care. even there were not able to resolve my problem.
When i call to customer care.....no 1 pick the calls and jus money gets cut as the call is chargeable.(i'm trying from Landline to customer care long hang out but no body is responding it. there taking their own sweet time ! Kindly help me in checking messages detail in day to day use.My no:[protected].

i m facing the problem of network failiure from last 2 days.i have submitted complaint also but they are not taking any action.i m completely pissed of by this kind of behaviour of idea cellular operator.plz help me to solve my problem.

I have received port number from Idea IW613G , and submitted to Tata Docomo.
After 7 days I came to know that Idea has not approved my MNP..

The “idea” is not customer friendly.
 On 8th January 2011, I purchased “idea net Setter “from authorized shop at Thane.
 The SIM card no is[protected] .
 It was supposed to be activated on 10th January.
 Till 17th January it was not activated. The shop owner told that because of technical problem it could not be started.
 On 19th January I got a call from Shop owner “that it is activated”.
 Till now it is not activated.
 There is one employee named as “Suvarna” who has given a mobile no [protected] who takes the mobile after 2-3 times trying.
 On 25th January , a call came in a male voice who asked my name and SIM card no. According to him the voice is not audio able and hence told that he will call me after wards. Not yet I have not received any call.
 Whenever I start the Net setter it says “only the specified SIM / USIM card can be used on the device.
 Then make “ok”.
 After that it comes” The device has been disconnected or is unavailable”.
 Then it comes” you can not connect before register an available network”.
I am fade up, frustrated. Feel like move to consumer court or publish the whole matter in media to say all how that “idea” works.
The mail given is of no use. Then why to give that mail id when they do not just work?
Hope, “idea” will take care of the customer and make us happy.

My idea post paid connection no. ([protected]) is running since 8 month before. The plan was like that 0.50 paise/min STD, 0.30 paise to other local and in roaming incoming calls charges 0.50 paise as well outgoing too. But the group (calls are free) because we took the post paid connection in a group of ten people in alwar pharmacy college, alwar. what happen from last two month (December and January) when i was in roaming it was charges 1.25 paise/min outgoing as well incoming too. I complained the customer care he told me about my postpaid plan that was different what i took. He also told me this would be due to some error in the network but later on it will be corrected. But nothing have been done till now that cause anger to me still didnot deposited the amount of month of December and January. I will continue it yet the correct amount would be sent to me.

Hi,

My name is Sachin having IDEA PREAPAID no.[protected] from last 5 years. Due to poor service and customer care i want tp port my number from idea to vodafone.

I have messaged PORT [protected] to 1900 and recieved a message from 1901 that my UPC is ID147RZT. After that on 20.01.2011 I have submitted the required form, verification ID and photograph at VODAFONE store.

On 21.01.11 VODAFONE has sent me message " Your porting request ID147RZt dated 21 jan 11 has been rejected by your current operator due to the Porting code does not match the Donor allocated Porting Code for this number. Please contact your current operator for further details". I called IDEA, firstly they tried to convince me to stay with Idea, but I was definate to port out and i requested them to look into the matter. After long conversation they said that this must be due to some thecnical reasons and I should again sms PORT 1900 and get my porting code and visit VODAFONE store again.

I again messaged PORT [protected] to 1900 and this time also I got the same UPC code.

NOW on 24.01.11 VODAFONE has again sent me message " Your porting request ID147RZt dated 24 jan 11 has been rejected by your current operator due to the Porting code does not match the Donor allocated Porting Code for this number. Please contact your current operator for further details".

I again called IDEA, but they didn't helped me and said they cannot do anything and they do not hae any detais regarding this... when I asked them t asking to some senior person then put my call on hold for around 20minutes.. then they said that there must be some due for any service you might be using.. I conveyed that my number IS PREPAID and you people dont START any SERVICE before deducting the balance.

Regarding : Inappropriate Balance Deduction from Prepaid connection

This is Vineeta Vishwakarma, i have recharged my mobile yesterday evening for Massage as well as Calling purpose (Massage voucher Rs. 64 and balance Rs. 24),as per company policy earlier i had word in Customer care regarding Services as per CC activation of Rs. 64 massage voucher SLA is 4 hours from the time of recharge,after 4 hours we can use the services.
I recharged my mobile yesterday in between 8.00 to 8.30 PM,so as per company policy i didn't use the services till 4 hours then i send a massage early in the morning at 4.49 PM and massage charges wrongly deducted from my mobile account.

Today i had word in IDEA Customer Care then as per CSA i wont be able to use services due to Technical problem and SR logged for the same SR No is 1-[protected] TAT is 24 Jan 10.00 AM till the time if i send any SMS from my mobile i will be charge as per company norms. Now i want proper resolution as well as proper action

1. No one inform me about technical problem what is that ?
2. Why i cant use the services whether i am paying for the same?
3. Company should have to return my money back as all charges wrongly deducted from my mobile account, it is also confirmed by IDEA Customer care executive : Mr. Arpit Jain, Senior Executive : Mr. Deepesh Beniwal as well as Manager Mr. Mayank Vyas.

So why should customer suffer if there is some technical issue from Service Provider.
Service Provider need to communicate through EDM or SMS about any tech issue.
Refund amount as well.

I hope you can feel customer's pain.

i was charged wrongly of my sms usage, where as i am not aware of sms charges on festive days, by company. they call that they declared holidays , and you will be charged on that day if, you use sms fecility. i was advised taht you wil get 300 sms and 24000 sec. free on plan of monthly rs. 199/- facility.

now my complaint is co's market executive or never co. informed about free facility will be chargeble on this declered holidays.

you are request to take my complaint urgently and punish this company , which breach their commitment given to indian users when they offer new paln to accept.

Dear Sir,
My phone is[protected] of IDEA prepaid services.(NOKIA MODEL) and I have been using the same for last 5-6 years.
It has been disconnected since15 Jan 2011.
As per their request I had filled up the KYC form and submited the same at their Paud road office in the month of December2011.
After disconnection I contacted them on Monday 16 Jan 2011 and was told that the documents were not complete and I should resubmitt the documents again.
Accordingly I resubmitted the documents At their Bhandarkar Road Head Office
After Srutiny of documents I was assuered that they are in order and your phone would be started immediately withinn 2-4 hours.
Then i have been contacting their customer care department regularly and I have been told repetedly that I should resubmitt the documents again! (They are not telling me the the reason for incomplete documentation)
In the above case I am now helpless as nobody is giving me proper reply.
What should I do to get the phone restarted.and what happens to mental torture and business loss I have suffered?

i am Mohsin Patel from Bharuch ..i used IDEA since last 2Years (Postpaid) (NO. is [protected]) last 2months i got SMS OR Phone call for document submittion .. i submitted my document on[protected] .. in idea office record date is[protected] ... but till date i got call or sms for submittion documents.. to many time i complain for this idea care or idea office also .. they cant solve my problem till date ... idea care said they doesnt receiv my document ... idea office person said your document rejected ... they cant give me my rejected document or reason for rejection ....idea office person want my document again without reason...i want solution for that ...please do as soon as possible

My name is Ranjith Nair and I am an Idea Netsetter post-paid subscriber holding the number [protected].
Idea net setter is the worst net connection i have ever used.
Idea customer care is blessed with even worse people who have absolutely no courtesy / decency / manners all put together. All this makes me feel whether having an Idea Netsetter or any connection is such a good idea after all.Idea connection brought humiliating and harassing treatment to me and my wife who have been running pillar to post to rectify a billing discrepancy, which is a fault at your end and wouldn’t have happened if you had well trained staff working for you.

My intial plan was an INR 299/- plan which I got changed to an Unlimited plan on 12th May 2010 by paying a visit to your outlet in Kozhenchery (Pathanamthitta-dist, Kerala). At that point of time, the person attending to me told me that the change was in effect immediately. 24 hours later i.e. on 13th May, my net connection got disabled. Idea call centre was unaware of why this happened and assured me that they would get back by the same evening. This continued for the next 2 days and as on date many an evening has passed and I still haven’t received a call from them. Thankfully, I didn’t wait for this long and upon visiting the same branch and meeting the same person who changed over my connection, on 15th (or 16th) May, I was once again asked to wait for a few days to wait for a call. Obviously the call never came and it was only after my repeated calls, I was very curtly and rudely told that I am SUPPOSED to know that any change takes 24 hours to be effected. This is out rightly ridiculous. Can anyone tell me, how is it possible for me to know that a change takes 24 hours to be effected. What is the person behind the desk doing? Is it not his responsibility to inform a customer about the time required for a change to be effected? am I supposed to dream this whole scenario?

After I confronted this person, he promised to waive off the charges on the netsetter incurred as a result of the mistakes and blunders of the inefficient team handling the change over. This joy was also shortlived as my net connection would routinely get disconnected every other day. A call to the call centre would restore it. Finally the same gentleman refused to waive of the bill and told me to pay it off else the connection would not be restored. I have even cleared bills during this time based on the assurance that the same would be waived off and now I am told that the bill would not be waived off.

I was absolutely fed up of this nonsense and decided to cancel my connection.On 29th sept 2010 I setteled all the amount due and cancelled my bill. I thought finally I have got myself rid of idea, but I was wrong.
Even after cancelling the connection I am still receiving bills from idea on my cancelled connection.

Yes Idea has changed my life forever and I will never in my life take a connection of idea and make sure that anybody I know will never make this mistake of taking an idea connection.

The Idea crew specially the one sitting in Aundh Idea showroom is awful... they are rude to customers , are not willing to help them in any way and are least bothered for what is teh Requirement of their customers.

Other than this IDEA NET SETTER is a big lump to digest with such an insupportive team of Idea.
