I have been using idea postpaid since 2008, but recently i am getting ‘tortured’ by the service provided, in october and november 2019 my sim was disabled and no idea gallery in pune helped me to solve that issue. Further they said verification error but how come in 10 years you say profile is not verified. I submitted the documents 5 times and after a month of follow up they started the service. It was like a harassment.
Now im travelling and im in new zealand i activated the ir service by paying security deposit but since two days its not active.
I am helpless and cant do any card transactions due to otp cant be accessed because of mobile number not activated.
I have a local sim here and trying to connect to customer care but they are not answering.
Such pathetic behaviour and service is not acceptable. I have group numbers including friends and family near about 50 numbers.
All the numbers i am going to port!

    I'm using idea's number and there is a network issue i'm facing today. I have been using idea number from last 12 years never faced any such issue. Since today morning its showing no service. Also some time it shows emergency calls only. I'm unable to contact customer support also.
    I tried switching on and off my phone, manual selection of network, removed sim and put it again but nothing worked. Im unable to make calls and use internet. Please help me out to resolve this issue asap.

      Today (15/02/2020) i was sending 1000 rs to a rtail shopkeeper in his account using his mobile number by using paytm. But but by mistake i did recharge of 1000rs on his mobile no. Sameday i contact idea company by mail for refund and for cancel the recharge but they refused. Shopkeeper doesn't require top-up recharge. What should i do now.1000rs is not small amount for me.

        Unfortunately, i own an idea connection on which internet services is not working from past 1 month, post i received a sms from idea's end stating they are upgrading their network and services will remain interrupted for 1-2 days. I believe sms was wrongly drafted instead it should state they are degrading their network services and services will remain inactive henceforth.

        After waiting for a week, and then raising a complaint against halted internet services, i was repeatedly told to create and change apn, choose vodafone in network and none of them helped. Though in my device connectivity status is tagged with a h+ signal, but unfortunately i am unable to open a google search page as well. Finally after wasting so much time, a customer care executive raised a complaint against which i was again sent apn setting, clear cache steps and as always choose "vodafone in" network. But not to my surprise, it was resolved without my consent and without solving my issue.

        From past 3 days i am calling idea's complaint number 198 and there again same story and awesome experience was today when a customer care executive so called farmost senior executive named "pooja" told me, things will remain like this and she can not do anything and since she is the senior most employee of idea company (I guess some relative to aditya birla), so could not raise my concern further.

        From all this experience it make me no wonder to understand why idea-vodafone is struggling to survive in telecom industry, and please stop blaming jio telecom for your downfall, its you who is responsible for this.

        Please revert my money if you could not provide services. This is my hard earned money and i do not want to waste it.

            I have been trying to generate upc and received a message

            Hello! Your request for upc for idea number [protected] with reference number c[protected] is resolved. For further assistance, dial 198

            While my outstanding dues are less than zero, and egg minded customer care repeats the same sentence what is shown on the screens. Please wait for 24-48hours from 2 weeks.

            The appellate is another # department. I have raised tons of tickets and emails.
            The other fun part is they dont have nodal officer.

                  I have idea 4g internet connection and internet speed is too much slow even not able to load the any simple page and whenever i complaint to idea care they people saying that your area has a too many members so internet speed is slow... I am frequently facing this problem.. I compliant too many times to idea care and it's still did not resolved... The ping time is 37ms and internet speed is only 0.16 and which is too too much slow i added screenshot as well

                    The network keeps fluctuating every now and then. Download speeds are extremely low. I try selecting network manually again and again but it still doesn't work. Even while playing online games using someone's wifi is what i need to do because my internet is way too slow to even start the game. Playing online videos, social media etc work too slow because of this. I mean... What should i give you 250 rupees for if you don't give me what i paid you for?

                      Every two days, i receive a message from 53010 stating "dear customer, you have been charged rs. 10 and your current balance is rs xxx". Without my permission they just deduct my balance and i didn't get any details regarding the deduction of my balance. So i called the idea customer care, and they say that i had purchased the game but i didn't purchased any game. The phone which i am using an normal hand set can support no game. It does not have the facility to install the game or app. So i called up idea customer care again but they keep on saying the same again and again that i've bought the game. Kindly note that i have contacted the idea call centre 6 - 7 times and went to idea showroom in person for 3 - 4 times. I have lost around rs. 500. Still the issue is not yet resolved.                         I'm a very loyal customer of idea and have been using since many years.

                        My idea prepaid number is [protected]. It was for my mother and did not use it for few months.

                        When i recharged the number with rs.50 it did not get activated. The recharge was successful but the number is still deactivated

                        Please activate the sim as it has been inactive and she was unable to use it because of some issue with using the phone. Please activate the number as it wasn't used for unauthorized works

                          Idea is not allowing me to port even though i have paid rs 1400 excess in my bill. Attached screenshots provide that i have close to rs1400 in excess payment. But, when i wanted to port my number, they sent me a message telling me that there is an existing contractual obligation. I called up idea and they told me that it is trai's problem. Please see screenshots to prove my point. Not only does idea have service issues. They are illegally blocking my attempt to port even though i have excess money in my post paid account.

                            I received a message from 51998 (Jammu and Kashmir main branch) stating "dear customer, you have been charged rs 10 and your current balance is rs xxx". Without my permission they just deduct my balance and i didn't get any details regarding the deduction of my balance. So i called the idea customer care, and they say that i had purchased the game but i didn't purchased any game. So i called up idea customer care again but they keep on saying the same again and again that i've bought the game. Didn't get any solution from customer care and refund of my balance and i want refund.Basically this is happening for the third time they have charged rs 10 i m just disappointed and frustrated with the company idea😐. They have charged me rs30 in total. I please do help me.

                              Raised a complaint now to customer care regarding unauthorised deductions of ₹5/- on receiving call from random numbers starting 815... But to no avail. Without consent of customer, company has been calling repeatedly on daily basis. Once you pickup the call you end up getting a sms stating ₹5/- has been deducted owing to sports download from one97 which i haven’t opted or subscribed till date.
                              Customer care gave me a number to dial 545454 to deactivate but again to no avail. Kindly stop this nuisance and loot with immediate effect

                                I had an idea number. It was ported from bsnl by mnp. The recharged plan expired 3 weeks ago.
                                Now my number is owned by another person. Idea cellular gave my number to somebody. My banking and other services are linked to that number.
                                I need that mobile number as much as possible.
                                I don't know what i can do?
                                Why this company behave like this?

                                  Respected sir, idea company is charged customer for any service that will be not applicable from customer, this month I charged for 49 Rs. When my DND service is activated . I call at customer service care but not responding to me. My number is black listed in idea's customer list.
                                  Please Sir, give me justice.

                                    I have tried sending the port message but it says it couldn't deliver... It is not being send. I have tried all things but couldn't find a way. I tried sending to other people and the message was being sent but only the port message is not sent. Idea is not showing any response and saying that they cant do anything. I want to port to jio but i couldn't... So plz find a way to send the message.

                                      My phone calls are instantly disconnecting and internet data is very very slow. When i called to customer care executive they are not responding properly. So, i want to port my idea number to airtel. But port messages are failing, even after calling to customer care also problem not solving. Please resolve the issue of sending port message to 1900 to port my number to airtel.

                                        I done recharge 1499 with 365 days. i did it wrongly. because i usually use internet data but in that recharge there is only 24 GB data So i called to customer care for any option like increase the data or cancel this and recharge again but they didn't have any good option. Please help me over here.
