I have an idea post paid no : [protected]. As I was checking my itemised bill for date 25th December 2019, I noticed that I was charged for calling a particular number '055181' on 1st December 2019 at 17:08:15 for 19:44 minutes and then again calling 055181 at 17:09:24 for another 18:24 minutes. The second call is shown to have started barely one minute after the first one and both calls are running parallel which is impossible. I don't even know this number. On checking I read about other customers who have been charged for calling the same number by idea cellular. This is a fake number which idea is using to increase the bill amount of customers.

Kindly look into this important matter.

"UPC cannot be generated as the mobile number is not configured. Please contact your service provider for further assistance."

I had complained to coustmercare many times and i was very much irritated about company concern and its bad network.
Please solve my problem as soon as possible.

My mom has a postpaid billing service for her idea sim card
The billing amount was unusual and a bit too much for the month of december 2019, the bill was generated in jan 2020.
On enquiring about the same with the customer care they mentioned an outgoing to 055181 was done for 25 mins on 25th dec 2019 and was not done from our end. On complaining about the same they have registered a complaint which they said will take a week to get it resolved.

The amount is added for no reason or for extracting money from consumers.

Recharge done on 14.1.2020 rs 100 via transaction id sbi [protected]ihl9776921 deducted from my sbi account but my mobile number [protected] did not get recharged inspite of deduction of amount from my account. The poor facility provided by the idea any forced me to port my number [protected] which was earlier in idea from last 10 years.

I màde a call to idea customer to know the "stores are open or not today"..
So your agent given information that "stores are open today"...

I confirm with the 3 agents by calling 3 times to customer care... And confirm with them...

After travelling 160 kms.. I reached. Store which is not. Open...in tirupati

I searched another branch in same city..
All stores are closed today...

After again i called to customer care i asked weather stores open or close???

They replied that "sorry sir stores are not be open today and tomorrow"

We traveled 320 kms... By ur wrong information...

I am writing to idea as a formal complaint.

I have been using Idea [protected] since years. I used to live in Pune and now have shifted to Goa. I have raised many complaints since November 2019 about the network issues I have been facing. Every time the network team calls me and says that the network will improve in 72 hours and it’s been 2 months now, 72 have not ended yet. I have spoken to a supervisor previously and he mentioned that there is nothing that Idea can do as network checks have been done and also he can see usage on my sim. I can use Idea only at certain places and hence shows usage. There is network problem and most of the time I am unable to use my data or call anyone from Idea number cos of the network. I have to come out of the house for the same. I don’t think I am getting any benefit whatsoever. You can see usage in my bill and hence I am liable to pay. I am not getting the promised services and hence I was to legally complaint. I have also asked for port out but none of your reps or the supervisor was able to help me.

I want this to be considered as a formal legal complaint. Also I do not want anyone from the network team to call me as they cannot help me at all. I will not pay my o/s bill till I get a resolution and my number should not be barred too as it is connected to everything as banks or other places.

I want a resolution. I want to move out asap and also compensation for all the problems caused. I will further send this email to the local consumer court to let them know that I have complained to Idea already.

Idea also has the worst customer care. Few representatives do not even understand you. I asked a supervisor for Port Out number and he asked me to check with the new network provider. I did not understand that at all. He just wanted me to hang up. He was least interested in what i was telling him. My new network provider asked me to check with Idea for MNP port out number and the sup denied.

Few months have been really bad. Almost a year now. Paying 500 INR every month is a very bad deal. I don't think that adds value for money. I want to appeal the consumer court for compensation. Cos of poor network i faced a huge loss as no one was able to get in touch with me. I had to buy a new jio sim to use internet. Paid alot for almost months and got nothing. This network sucks big time. I will go to the court but before that i want someone to help me with port out.

Today i tried to port my number from idea to airtel. But when i sent message for port, then i got a revert message that upc code cannot be generated. I contacted to custome care also but they told me that your upc code will be generated only after 30th jan. This is so much frustrating. Idea network furstated a lot now they are releasing me.

I am an nri customer of idea. I have idea sim from at least 5 years ago, this dosent have the 4g capability. So, everytime when i visit india i cant use the internet.
To resolve this, i requested a sim change.
I couldnt get any help from idea store when my sister visited there personally.
I couldnt get any help from idea customer care emails. They just kept on sending same reply over and over again.
I had to reach applleat officer for this, after almost 50 emails (Literally more than 50) and multiple follow up, they have taken all my documents, but no response from them since last 2 weeks. I dont understand how they work, but nobody answers the phone, no body responds on email. This is a really pathetic service.

Please look into the matter as soon as possible
This ref i'd is taken from my recharge inbox of paytm. Wrong number is [protected] this is switch off so i'm not able to contact to sim subscriber so please help me.

There are blank recorded robocalls coming on my mobile on idea registered number, near about 2 times in a day from last month, and it's happening near about everyday, even i've blocked that number, but then too still the calls are coming on my number, and i'm getting harassed from that, please stop the calls it's totally harassing. Please solve my issue as soon as possible... It's totally harassing.

Whenever I try to get UPC generated using PORT to 1900, i get this reply from 1901 that

"UPC cannot be generated as the mobile number is not configured. please contact your service provider."

I've been following up with customer care on call and twitter, but since 1 month this issue isn't resolved.

What's going on ?

I have tried all the way to fix mobile network, also fixed the roaming issues,

But still my network is showing "no service"

In my mobile i have only one sim and facing this type of issues...

Kindly resolve my issue otherwise i just want move on other service provider,

This type of issue i am facing many times but still your team is not working to resolver this type of issues

Now, i am came to west bengal (Roaming circle). My tele verification on 59059 is not completing here in west bengal.

So, please know me how can i tele-verify my idea number in west bengal.

Bugged with idea. Mobile no is not getting ported out. Tried with customer care. Very bad service. Tried everything. They just tried to give me different reasons. It's against supreme court decision. Tried to send an email also. Tried different mobile. Continuously sending sms. I think they don't want to let customers port out their number.

My idea no has been changed to jio thru mnp and usage under jio upto 23-oct-19 since sep19.

The number changed to other operator by then idea mnp concurrence.

But now, while i tried to recharge, this number is not available & no records in jio database.

Jio team also conveyed that the bill amount outstanding exits with the idea operator.

But after clearing all the outstanding bills only, the mnp has been activated & live in jio upto 23-oct-19.

Then how come the outstanding exists. I am keep on touch with both the team to clear this issue.

I physically visited jio showroom 3 times in past two months. But till date no response from both the operator teams.

Kindly i request your immense presence to reoslve this issue asap pls.

Getting the same issue. Upc code cannot be generated for idea. Facing this issue since last 15 days but customer support is not helping at all. Sent multiple mails and visited the store many times but they have no solution.

I am able to generate upc for jio and airtel. But i cannot generate upc for idea

I am user of idea service in maharashtra circle.

I am trying to port out from idea, i tried many times, but i receive message
"upc cannot be generated as the mobile number is not configured. Please contact service provider"

I tried with customer care and got false promises but no resolution. Instead getting the response saying " your number will be flashed on priority and will get fixed within 24 hours.. And one of them went ahead and said it will be resolved by 10th jan 2020.. But no luck.. May i request authorities to look into this and help me out.

My mobile number is from maharashtra circle and i have been trying to port out of idea. I am getting the message “ upc cannot be generated as the mobile number is not configured. Please contact your service provider. ” for the past 20 days. Repeated calls to customer care and visits to idea store has not helped.

Need assistance to have the issue resolved at the earliest.

"upc can't be generated as mobile number is not configured" is shown on return message from 1901, i tried atleast 6 times in different days and also talked customer care they once said try tommorow and next time they said server error. One more issue i am unable to change language although i successfully changed ivr language but customer care agent still talks in malayalam so i was forced to take one of my friends help although i am in kerala but still they should talk with me in either hindi or english as i know only those language and atleast these malayalam speaking guys should be effecient to have a minimal english communication. But they know only one english line which is "this is malayalam customer care please change language to english by dialing 12345" which i tried but no luck why they themselves can't redirect me english customer care. There was a porting offer of 2 month unlimited till yesterday which i missed due to the mistake of these idea people and now i am suffering.
