Dear sir,

This happened today 21/09/2017, when i got a call from mobile no, [[protected]] where a lady said we are calling from sbi credit card and she asked the credit card details for the purpose of issuing a fresh card and updating my reward points in the new card. I gave the card number and she asked the cvv and argued not to give otp. But i convinced as i got the sms stating reward points have been transferred to the account. When i checked the sms the transaction has already been completed.

Please request you to help me on this matter to get back the amount.

Yeah..we should nt share OTP to anyone. But on that day, they have all the confidential details of my card including rewards points details. Initially I argued not to disclose the OTP, then the same call was transferred to someother and lot of arguments I was convinced :( and believed that they are from bank only (I got an SMS like rewards points have been successfully for each transaction also.) It seems they are very planned scammers.

      I (Sanjeev kumar punia, mobile no.-[protected]) and my wife (Mobile no.-[protected]) were idea customer since last more than 10 years. One of my friend was transferring rs. 9, 370/- to me through paytm on 09/03/2017 but by mistake he paid the bill of my mobile ([protected]).

      I tried more than 20 times to customer care as well as idea store to get the money back but could not get in more than 3 months.

      Finally, i left with one option to port the number but after that also i did not get my money back till date in 4 months (As maximum time is 2 month). I mailed to customer support also in this regard on 08/09/2017. Now, it became the height of trying from my side and i have only one option to file this complain in national consumer forum.

      Today i send the mail again...

                Idea staff is talking like goons with my family while i am living out of india.
                Idea staff words are "ghar se uthwa denge"

                They are talking about some idea bill of 1275 rupees. Which number they don't know. Where is the bill, they don't know. They said idea given us complaint that your bill is due and we are calling from court.

                I was using idea number in bangalore before 6 months and i closed my number and ported my wife number to prepaid as i was moving out of country. After i moved, i haven't received any bill or any payment reminder if pending for any of my number (Neither email nor mail to my permanent resident).

                Now suddenly they are talking like goons without any bill or any information? My wife got scared and paid the said amount to idea people as she could not reach me to discuss, i was in different time zone and i was sleeping when it happened.

                Idea staff given my wife 1 hour of time to pay the said amount or "ghar se uthwa denge" kind of language. They called 40 times to my sister with bad abusive language.

                I called idea apellete team and asked to take an action against their for harassment.

                  1. Given dox and taken replacement sim on[protected] from deolali idea store.
                  2. Recharge of rs 120 done as they told us from deolali idea store
                  3. Sim not started on[protected] night at 10 pm as they and said.
                  4. On 13-9=2017 complaint forwarded thro idea store mumbai naka, nasik they inform that your dox were not forwarded contact the deolali idea store again.
                  5. Recd message in evening confirming that your sim ready for replacement and dox completed etc.. But sim not activated
                  6. Complaint again and given dox again to deolai idea store and sim activated without problem and again complaining
                  7. 19-9 night sim deactivated.
                  8. Compalint in morning at 198 they said we have raised issue and you will recieve complain no and sim will be active within 4 hours means by 1300 hours on 20-9...
                  9. No compllaint number received
                  10. Again complaint at 198. They said your dox means adhar copy not received. They did not register any complaint and asked me to contact deolali idea store where i have initially submitted dox. They asked me to be polite with such irresponsible staff you have appointed for customer care.
                  11. Why should i be polite with them. Because i am a customer (Football) so your people should kick me and my time and my reputation etc.
                  12. Given dox adhar card again at deolali idea store today evening at 1900 hours.

                  Now can you update me what is my fault.
                  1. As per talk with 198 : your idea store deolali has given me sim card without any adhar dox... So it should be fault on your staff from deolali idea store based in nashik district.
                  2. My sim was made active 5 days without any documents received from your idea the service provider is that, my fault.

                          I'm using idea sim card number [protected]] since 2012. I got one message "your connection would be barred within 48 hrs as per trai guidelines due to promotional activities done from your number without telemarketers registration"
                          But actually i did't used my sim card for any promotional activities. Everyday i will sent some sms to my friends and relatives. I don't even call often. Without any intimation i got this message. I don't want to lose my number. Kindly help me. Thank u so much...

                            I checked a offer on application and make recharge for the particular offer after it they are deducting my balance saying that here mentioned tnc but i did not see here writing any tnc or cup apply...
                            When i talk to the support 198 they said me you can do anything for this we will not provide you satisfaction...

                            Iam one of the oldest customers of idea (Then escotel). I feel quite disappointed to inform that i had done a recharge of rs. 402 on 16 sept sep 2017 (Unlimited calls and 1gb data free /day for 28 days). But unfortunately from 18th sep charges for the calls are being deducted. The people at customer care service are nat able to address the matter properly. Kindly address the issue as soon as possible.

                              I am idea cellular customer for last 1 years and using 2 idea numbers registered on my address (Shastri nagar ghaziabad). From last 3month we are facing network issues with idea with no service coming every time.

                              I have contacted idea customer service, nodal team and appellate team however the team is not willing to resolve. Idea customer care told me that work in progress please wait why i am waiting 3month is enough time to improve the service

                                I received a sms from ideacellular that a data pack has been activated in my no. It was a shock 4 me as i didn't requested 4 data activation n all.
                                So i called customer care at 198 within 5 mins of receiving such sms, and told him my concern, but rather solving problems he talked so rudely that u must have been done something to activate this service. I denied, then he asked 4 proof. That what proof do i have that i didn't communicated to activate this service and misbehaved a lot...
                                How any one could proof that he didn't call someone to activate some kind service.
                                This is all billshit.. Resolve this problem..
                                I am using idea postpaid since last 4 yrs by now book noppopoo a big noooooo.

                                  Please note, some fraudster called me from the number:+91 [protected] and made 4 fraud transactions using my debit card number. Please cancel the transaction and send it back to me asap. Please revert as to how to contact customer care and get back my money

                                  4 transactions of rs. 4989.0 was made when i got the alert on my phone. This needs urgent action.

                                      I am using idea. I think worst service provider as have dialed 198 thrice and complaint of getting these flash messeges at regular intervals of not more than 2 to 3 minutes. First time they said wait for 48 hours and the complain will be resolved. Thereafter when it didn't i called back after 48 hours only to listen the same. Then i called his senior, from there i got same reply but believing in them i again waited but couldn't get my complaint resolved. Today again i called and got same reply even from the senior. They say they can't. I ask if they can't, how they can start such a harassing service without the consent of customer. I am pissed in complaining and trying everything that they say but all those in vain. First they say do by yourself by getting into your phone's settings. But i couldn't find the option they were saying would be there. At my second attempt to complain they said go in your display settings and from there turn off these messees but i couldn't find any such setting. Third time when i was complaining he said try from sms settings. I said there is no such setting, he replied try calling micromax service centre or the seller of the phone. How stupid are they. A service forced by them, they say will be resolved by mobile phone company. This is totally extortion of customer. And even the flash messeges include the vulgur contents. Who gave them right to expose anyone to such content without his/her consent? And worst experience with customer care service of this telecom provider. Lastly i was told to sms stop to 58595. But i couldn't get it resolved yet. I am attaching hereby a screenshot from the flash messege.

                                        Have an idea mobile number - [protect] from past 2 years. For some reason i haven't used my number for around 3 months and one day i came to know that my number has been allotted to someone else. Even today i am using that number in my whatsaap.

                                        This is so unfair as i have that number of mine linked to all my bank accounts, gas, aadhaar card and every other document of mine. So i will go to consumer court and file a suit against idea if they don't start my number.
