    Hi, I am the Idea Post Paid customer . I was happy about this service. But now i am really very disappointed. because of the discrepancies in the postpaid bill for the period 03-Mar-2015 to 26-Mar-2015. I am charged unnecessary for the SMS- MT charges. This month i got charged of Rs.525. and for 27-April-2015 to 26-April-2015 it cost me around Rs. 30. I have no intension to send such messages which would costing me Rs.555. I called the customer care regarding the same. Your executives told those charges are for internet facility used and other says for some activation. I haven’t sent any sms from my side and I Haven’t done any activations from my side. Also deactivate such services which will cause any discrepancy. Hence i am going to pay all the amount except additional charges like SMS _MT and late fees of 550 and 50 respectively. So please activate my number and co-operate. My mobile number is [protected] I called up customer care so many times with no joy. Customer service was not at all co-operative. Hence as i have never sent such messages for which i am getting charged. Please look after this issue. Quick reply or action is expected. Hoping for your best support. Thanks and regards Suraj Patil.

    My concern is activating such costly services without informing
    customer itself is wrong think (cheating) that idea cellular is doing. On top
    of it customer never come to know he is using any extra service. Customer never
    been asks for any confirmation to send such costly massages. He only realize when
    he sees his bill at the end. This is very cheap technique that idea is using to
    make money. By the way, till the issue resolves please activate my number I
    have made a payment of Rs. 1008/- excluding SMS-MT charges. Hope you understand
    my problem.

        I am using idea service more than 3 years..I have paid my bills regularly on time and it never comes more than 700 its is for the first time i got 2100 rs bill..which I think is wrong. Customer care executive is telling tht I have called on a special number which is chargeable and I have talked continously more den 3 hrs ..which is impossible for me to talk .

          Last night i checked my idea bill may be after few years as i have been using this number [protected] for years as trusted the company...however i realized last night that there is a charge of |Rs 250 added for 3g vas usage which i never opted for as i don't even use a smart phone for this number and the phone that i use with this sim is a Lava Arc6 basis non smart phone which can't connect to the internet. Immediately i called up idea customer card and the representative (priyanka) verified that i have not been using internet on this number hence they will wave off my 2 months charge, i asked why only two months as i don't use this service neither i asked this for...I AM NOT AN IIN STUDENT, please spare me and the company which says no ullu banaowing has been making a fool out of me for last few years. Refernce number c1-[protected] they have said that they are writing an email to Mr birla probably and he will approve this waiver, i have been asked to wait for 96 hours before they can even tell me which date this service has this been activated on ...I am pissed big time and thinking of running a negative video campaign through social media have a very good thought around it IIN .. Indian institue of nuts will only take this ad..Idea Internet Network..GUrrrrr I have been following up with idea for so many days all they are saying is that someone will call me back ...anyone out there please help me i want to take this further

            Hi, I was user of idea number [protected] and this is my email id ([protected]@gmail.com) registered with idea. I was using this number when I was back there in Delhi till November 2014. Then I transferred to Kolkata and due to some unknown reasons this number was disconnected and due to which I faced lots of issues as all my bank account and netbanking was tied up this number. Then one day I got a call from idea representative rather using abusive/completely unprofessional language from [protected] number. After lots of discussions she asked me to pay pending amount of appox.1800 to close the number and I did that. Now after 3-4 months I again got an invoice stating I have pending amount of 1025 and for same I called customer care complaint department at [protected] and talked to Mr.Alok and he assured that this number somehow was not disconnected and again I have to pay Rs1025 and give a call back to disconnect the number. I confirmed with him that I am not using this number from last 6-7 months and have misplaced the SIM and as customer care center too too far from home I can't visit there, for which he assured that we will disconnect in no time just I have to pay the residual amount. I again paid the amount and give the same number a call back where I am getting the same shocking answer that I need to visit the branch. Assuming unprofessional behaviour again I have recorded the call with Mr.Alok. Can you please disconnect the number and justify why misleading information is being given by customer care executives. I am really really upset by the behaviour and confirm that I am not using this number from last 6 month and if any more bills are raised I will not any money for it. Thanks Shiv

              Phone number transferred from prepaid to postpaid, on 9th May, 2015 - delay in verification, therefore activation. I am still not able to use it and today is 13th May, 2015. I have no alternate number. Located in Dehradun. Store i went to get the SIM is Solutions1 - opposite Hotel Madhuban, Rajpur road, Dehradun. Executive who handled the case was Mr. Jagdeep - [protected]. I have been requesting since monday to activate my number, After Tuesday the concerned executive isn't answering or responding with the status. It's a helpless situation right now for me.

              I am not an idea representative and I have faced a similar situation earlier for which I logged a consumer complaint earlier.
              Please don't panic your number will be activated without any verification ( not sure if they think as a fish in their trap as it happened to me).
              Just to set up your expectations every now and then my number used to get disconnected and my LORD idea wished I could talked to my dear ones...

                Sir, Today on 13.05.2015 about 2.10 pm. I received a call from idea i.e.no.[protected]. A Female was speaking . She told me that Rs. 35 is deducting every month from your accounts for miss call alerts. Now onwards this amount will not be deducted and free miss call alert service will be provided . for that please dial the button as asked on IVR. I followed the instruction as this call was from idea. After that she told that dial 3, I did. After that I received a sms that Rs. 75 deducted for dialer tone. That female caller has not inform about the deduction of balance and activation of this service. Immediately I made a complaint on 198 no. and after big discussion deducted amount was refunded to me. prior to this since last 3-4 days daily I was receiving calls from idea in this regard. Prior to this on 25.12.2014 a call from idea was also received to me. At that time it was informed me that miss call alert service will be given to you on free of charge. I asked the reason but he told it is offer. I told yes and dialed the button as instructed. after that around rs.90 was deducted. after 1 day I made the complaint but no one has given proper response and deducted amount was not refunded to me till today. Here I want to know that why such sort of cheating is doing by such a big cellular phone co. i.e idea. by mis-selling and giving the false information to customer and deducting the balance amount.

We have opted 5 IDEA connection as a new connection instead of Airtel & Vodafone. we have change because plan was Rs. 199 pm with 400 STD & Local call & 1 GB data but now once plan is activated; I come to know that nothing is same as per Idea representative committed earlier; also if you charge Rs. 199 total bill then why you treat us as per Pro-rata basis calls & Internet facility; it;s totally fraud with us; your representative's completing their target's with false commitment. Hope you will look in to this on priority.

                  So Dear all seniors of Idea Communication can you please tell me what kind of concern has been discussed &amp; addressed it is just like condolence call for me because i was trapped in your representative business trick and you guys dont even want to look in to this.


                  Otherwise you can track who is responsible person behind this and from which location this no. is activated and i am sure you can find out the solution and the representative who gave false commitment.

                  This is another false commitment by Idea representative; he confirm that you will get plan which you want and for that you need to visit My idea gallery but unfortunately the representative of Idea Gallery Sion he was not aware about anything
                  .
                  Really don't know what is going on here am totally getting down; again again this people are playing with customer and giving false commitment.


                  Hope this type of false commitment will stop and i will get better service from Idea.

                      Respected sir my name is Nagendra singh and I am living at lucknow. Last day I registered a complaint against idea for this subject. I also had conversation with customare care but in his talk i did not get sufficient result. I had recharge a 2G data pack of Rs 51 in 3G SIM and i got the speed of 350 - 400 kb/s. And now i had recharged with data pack of 249 and I got speed only 5 - 12 kb/s. This is so frustrating. I f got the owner of idea cellular company i did not know what i am going to do with that person. And the customare care officer who sit in the chair they have no any knowledge about the internet. Even they did not know the abc of customare care service.

                        Dear sir / Madam, I am B.ARUN from Coimbatore . My prepaid IDEA no is [protected] .Yesterday (12.05.2015 ) night 11.50 pm will talk to one IDEA network number with 15 mint . I have already add rate cutter also ( idea to idea 10 paisa ) But you have detect my balance 15 rupees - you have charged almost Rs. 1/call . I will talk this same number so many time per day . All times you have charged 10paisa / call only - Why you are detect Rs. 1/ call . I will talk your customer care officer for this issue - He also don't know why you are detected . He transfer line to higher officer - I will wait more then 30mint for this line - But Not any one attn this phone . I don't know what I do . This is not a first time . Every day will faceing this same problem . Don't cheat true customer pl .

                        Hi,
                        I am not an idea representative good to see that atleast someone responded to your queries.
                        I unfortunately was a user of postpaid number [protected] and trying to deactivate it using last 6-7 months.
                        I raised queries and requests to [protected]@idea.adityabirla.com, however no one seems to answer. My number was also cut down without any intimation and suffered a lot as all my bank account and netbanking was tied to it.
                        I paid all the amounts 3-4 months back and disconnected it however it surprisingly again raised an invoice amount of Rs 1025 which I again paid after talking to one of the representative Mr.Alok who confirmed that we are sorry for inconvinience caused, your number somehow was not disconnected an raised the bills. He assured me that once I pay the bill we will disconnect the number.
                        5 mins after paying the bills and when I again called to disconnect the number, their was change in voice and they told me the long procedures else they will continue raising the bills for the number.
                        Calling to customer complaint department and leasoning their stories and answers seems to me as some cinderella story from grandma as everyday its different.
                        Hope in future you go through happy disconnection procedures and hope someone reply to my mails (if not all the bandwidth of IIN is consumed in raising engineers, doctors and masterchef out of India).

                            My no Is [protected] – Ahmedadbad Area. On feb 18th I activated 199 2G unlimited Plan But I got bill Rs – 2500 for 2G Data uses. Please check the attached confirmation massage screenshot. From ahmedabad head office nobody response me properly. I am using from last 5 year same post paid plan. They cut down my incoming call. The customer care team is very rude, they are you have to pay the bill and will cut down your phone..

                            Hi,
                            I am not an idea representative good to see that atleast someone responded to your queries.
                            I unfortunately was a user of postpaid number [protected] and trying to deactivate it using last 6-7 months.
                            I raised queries and requests to [protected]@idea.adityabirla.com, however no one seems to answer. My number was also cut down without any intimation and suffered a lot as all my bank account and netbanking was tied to it.
                            I paid all the amounts 3-4 months back and disconnected it however it surprisingly again raised an invoice amount of Rs 1025 which I again paid after talking to one of the representative Mr.Alok who confirmed that we are sorry for inconvinience caused, your number somehow was not disconnected an raised the bills. He assured me that once I pay the bill we will disconnect the number.
                            5 mins after paying the bills and when I again called to disconnect the number, their was change in voice and they told me the long procedures else they will continue raising the bills for the number.
                            Calling to customer complaint department and leasoning their stories and answers seems to me as some cinderella story from grandma as everyday its different.
                            Hope in future you go through happy disconnection procedures and hope someone reply to my mails (if not all the bandwidth of IIN is consumed in raising engineers, doctors and masterchef out of India).

                            Firstly i want to request all people pls. Never ever go with any idea post paid no. This is the worst cm worst service in the world. They guys should be rewarded for their ways of cheating on customer and also fir their worst service.
                            Recently i have shifted from pune to punjab. My no. Was not in use from last 3 months. On 7th of may i received a call from idea the no. Was [protected] . The guy on the other side asked me to pay an amount of 5204 i was totally shocked as i have not used that no. Over 3 months.
                            After some discussion that guy told me to pay 4163 rps. He said your number somehow was not disconnected an raised the bills. He assured me that once I pay the bill we will disconnect the number.And the bill will not be generated from this month.
                            I paid all the amounts of 4163 and send msg to that guy however it surprisingly again raised an invoice amount of Rs 1041, now i start calling to that no. [protected] but noby pics up my ph. I tried from other nos. also once he picked up my call and when i tell him that i am parmod calling from punjab he suddenly cut the ph. And then again no. Answer after lots of calls.
                            Then i called on [protected] no. This no. Was mention in the mail invoice i have received after talking to one representative who said me that pls. Wait i am giving your call to Mr. Gaurav ... She cuts the line, i tried again and again but the same problem nobody respond on any of my call.
                            I have attached some images with this complaint. Till date i dun have any solution for this and i dun know where to raise the complaint whom to talk.
                            Hope in future you go through happy disconnection procedures and hope someone reply to my complaint (if not all the bandwidth of IIN is consumed in raising engineers, doctors and masterchef out of India).

                            You said that you have my contact details but i think you don't.Your representatives calling one of my friend for seeking my contact no. You people are totally fraud. Their are more then 6 people in my friend circle facing the same problem with your company.
                            I am using 2 new no. Of your company. Even in my family and relatives many people are using idea's no. And now i promised you that i will take an solid initiation to stop all of my friend and relatives for using any of idea's no. I am again requesting you to stop all this as it will badly effect your company's name and image. (If it really matters to you)

I mean how slow is this. When i had recharge of 51 and i got speed of 500kb/s speed. And now its only 10kb/s. Kindly do the hopeful and neeful on this. Thanking you.

                              I was user of idea number [protected] and have logged several request/complaints regarding Internet speed.
                              Answers you might be getting from idea representative would be something like
                              - Sorry for inconvenience we will fix it shortly
                              - We are working on your area and will provide 3G services their soon.
                              - Actually we provide 2G services which is better than 3G from other service provider
                              Then believe me you will convince yourself that you are lucky enough that you can browse Internet on idea till the time you switch to other service provider.

                                Hi my name is Yusuf Shaikh and have been using idea service for the past 7 years but for past 2-3 months have been facing network issues at my home (address Alaknanada-1, B.A.R.C Colony Anushaktinagar Mumbai -94 ) Now recently I do not have network at my home for last 30 days have contacted Idea customer service multiple times to report this issue also got SR raised twice and waited for the time frame given to resolve the issue but to no avail and the issue still remains the same, customer service is really pathetic in terms of communication and do not know themselves what they are doing, really shocked to see that such a big company cannot resolve issue for more than over a month

I was messaged that on the recharge of Rs249=I'll be given 2.5gb intent, however altered I recharged with 249 I was given only 1gb benefit which is sheer negligence on part of idea cellular company... This issue needs to be redressed as early as possible...

                                    Idea Cellular Showrooms are reluctant to change regular sims to micro-sims in case of prepaid connections and come up with the excuse that they do not have micro-sims. Idea Cellular is blind to such complaints and takes no action against the errant dealers. Perhaps they encourage such behaviour without realising that this will drive away their customers. Apart from that, they deserve to be proceeded against by TRAI. Will Idea Cellular react to It ? I can give specific example of my relative in Kanpur to whom your Showroom Vinayak Teleservices, Govind Nagar denied the service.
