My customer id is 3118064, i have paid rs.6012/- towards amc charges with m/s ifb limited for my washing machine model senorita sx which is valid thru 05/09/2019.
I registered a complaint # [protected] with customer care on 29.03.18, regarding machine start button not function. A technician mr. Prabakaran has come and checked the power board of the machine, there is small crack on one part of power board. I hope that he can do soldering on small crack, but he put 4 little hole with his tester on crack and telling me that the power board need to replace but which is not covered under amc due to looks like rat bite and ask me to pay rs.4500/- for replace the new pc board. I was shocked with his reply and i don’t know how he can simply telling rat bite and not covered under amc.
I have spoken his franchise manager mr. Arun from m/s. Ganapathy service and requested to replace power board under amc, but he asked me to read terms and conditions. Nothing is mentioned like rat bite anywhere in amc document and they said only rubber & plastic material not covered while taking amc, but he gravely pinpoint that “defects due to customer negligence” not covered under amc and technician was left immediately without closing the machine since i am not read to pay rs.4500/-.
I have called to ifb customer care and they gave a senior manager number [protected] (Ms. Priya). I called her and explained the problem, thereafter, many calls and messaged to her, but no response and she didn’t pick the line, worst customer care i have ever seen in my life. The company did not repaired my washing machine and simply they have cancelled my registered a complaint # [protected] without solving the problem.
It’s very irritating situation, i have paid amc to company but can’t claim the repairs and again they ask me to pay extra and finally customer to bear all expenses even if it is under amc because of all terms and conditions are favoring to ifb & its franchise. Their judgement seems like we have the customer money so no need to give them proper service, making fool to customers and doing fraud things on name of services & selling spare parts done by the ifb.
Finally, i have repaired my washing machine with one local technician. No use to take the amc from ifb, blindly cheating to the customer and no senior management in ifb really bothers about their customer what is happening on amc front.
I would request ifb, if they have any sense of shame left in them to refund my amc amount of rs.6012/- immediately.
