Choolaimedu, Chennai. On Saturday (10/3/18) my IFB Washing machine Elena DX was in the last rinse cycle and the belt got cut. Subsequently the machine itself drained water and we took out the clothes without spin and gave complaint.(10.31 hrs to[protected].Since no response, we again gave complaint on 12/3/18 @ 2.26 pm. I came to understand that only 2nd time it got registered. Service man from Royal Enterprises, Korattur, came and changed the belt for ₹960/-. Even though it is under AMC and will be due in May, he insisted for new AMC @ ₹5130/- minus ₹1000/-. Yet we still signed the AMC for two years. What I suspected is that after changing the belt, he told my wife to change the front gasket also for ₹3800/- since it is torn. Since I suspected foul play I did not consent and coming home I found a 4 inch tear in the gasket inside the flap. Water will simply pour out from the machine through this tear. Last time this firm made us to buy the filter for ₹1800/-. When there was no leak during the previous wash how a big tear will come all of a sudden. I suspect the damage was made by the serviceman to make us buy at a huge cost. This the 4th IFB Washing m/c & we are having for more than 23 yrs. First time this is a bad experience and request to investigate.

    The IFB Washing machine (EVA AQUA SX 10890) caught fire and we informed your customer executive regarding this issue, By which they came in person and investigated the situation.

    He informed that the product will be replaced as soon as possible its been 2 months since then and still no replacement has been made.

    Warranty copy has been attached for your reference

      I have taken IFB Elena 6kg Front load in July 2014 and ever since then I am facing a lot of problems with this machine.
      My clothes are being torn. Literally there are holes bieng created on my clothes. I have logged complaints several times, IFB engineers have come several times
      and changed something or the other but there seems to be no improvement.
      I suppose there will be no improvment since your product itself is faulty and useless.
      Your quality team and engineer last visited on 2 March 18. Prior to this there have been several enginers who have come and changed something or the other to fix this problem for the last 3 years but are not successful till date.

      I have spoken to Miss Vandana and she has no reply to my query. All she has to say is that she has informed her boss Mr. Kunal Gupta (Branch Manager)
      This Manager does not have the courtesy to call and respond to customers complaint nor does he picks up customers call.

      I have also spoken to Mr shailesh who seems to be the service Manager. This man needs to be trained first how to speak with customer. He has no customer etiquetts.He speaks very rudely and harshly and to add to it, he says you are using low quality material.
      For your kind information we use branded clothes and even low quality clothes if put any simple washing machine also she not tear by holes in them.
      He says no customer has this problem only you have, so is this my problem or your product problem.

      I told the quality person who came to my house on 2/3/18 that the STEAM option has some problem, since I use the same only. To that the quality executive Mrs Sharada and Mr. Chari said that please dont use the team option use HOT option.
      Then why have I brought this machine????

      With all this frustration I spoke to your call center and spoke to Miss Suman (floor incharge) and I found her very efficient in her work (ONLY PERSON IN IFB WHO IS EFFECIENT).
      This girl promised that she will call back and followed up with the same since she was sensitive to my complaint.
      Must Aprreciate Miss suman for the same.

      REST OF THE ENTIRE IFB TEAM IS USELESS AND HOPELESS INCLUDING MR. SHAILESH, MR. KUNAL GUPTA AND MISS VANDANA. I AM FIGHTING FOR MY MACHINE FOR THE PAST 3.5 YEARS. PLEASE CHECK YOUR CALL LOG FOR THE SAME . PRIOR TO THIS I HAVE COMPLAINED ON 23/8/17, WHEREIN THE TECHNICIAN CAME REMOVED THE IFB STAND AND WENT BACK AND STILL TEHRE IS NO SOLUTION TO IT.
      MY TICKET NO RAISED IN YOUR CALL CENTER IS [protected]

      I AM REALLY FED UP AND NOW WOULD REQUEST YOU TO PLEASE REFUND ME MY MONEY AND I WILL BUY A NEW WASHING MACHINE AND WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BUY IFB WASHING MACHINE.
      I WILL ALSO REGISTER THE SAME ON FACE BOOK AND CUSTOMER GRIEVANCE FORUM.

        Hi team,

        I purchased IFB washing machine .at the time of installation only engineer had come and installaed.After that no one visited. but iam getting message regularly, your complain has been logged .After 4 hrs getting one more message, it has been resolved.No one visited and nothing done since 4 years.Why it's getting.Suspecting franchisee or engineers loging calls as Preventive maintainance and closing .

        Today i received call no: [protected].and it has been closed with successfully resolution.This is something wrong on ground level .

        Take it serious and provide me root cause.

          I have raised a complaint with IFB on 7-Mar (ticket no. [protected]) for resolving an issue in my washing machine. This under warranty period and no one from IFB attended to resolve the problem nor they contacted us again. This is the second time I am facing such problem with IFB. Not happy with their customer service.

            I bought a trolley for ifb front load 6 kg full automatic washing machine.

            I was informed the cost of trolley is 1600 than when they came for installation they charged me 1850.

            Your agent said that are transportation charges. Hardly 2 kg trolley costed me 250 for transportation.

            Beyond that we were forced to purchase the trolley stating warranty will void if we use any other trolley.

            They claimed it and confirmed that trolley is rust free.

            Its not even 3 months and trolley is rusted please find the photo attached for the same.

            Worst is when i spoke to customer care number. Agent said trolley is not there product and they will not take complaint

            This is the way they are fooling people and forcing their unsold product.

            It was my wrong decision to buy ifb machine

When our family decide to purchase a new washing machine (Elena 6 kg front loader) so i survey the market finally we decide that we go for ifb and we purchase ifb machine but suddenly it working stop in warraty so i registered complain. Finally two person visit our home and tell us give us a machine so we coordinate them he took the machine in sector 21 gandhinagar and repair it and back to us. But after 4 month machine not work and warranty gone. Again i registered complain so again techinician come and tell the expense 5500 but i m not agree so i do again complain so again technician come he told us that drum not fitted properly so drum gone so u pay 4500 for that but as a techinician all technician have poor communication skill and lack of knowledge so i m very dissappoimtment again i decide go further for justice so i talk with

              Mrs harsiddha madam she have no idea and not give good respose next.

              2. U give me machine i give 2500 3. U go for flipcart and do exchange 4. I support u for better exchange value. 5. I try for repair machine but i m not sure about that once again this happen. 6. Go for other good brand 7. U waste ur time

              So i m very much confuse last 6 month my wife not use machine finally we go for lg top loader. Last 6 month me and my wife mentally harrash so i required justice this is my final hope mail.

              Now i hate this brand my mind totally wash i dont recommended to other for ifb. I want justice if i m not get. I go further but i m not suffer this type of foolish and nonsense respose from ifb industries...

                I purchased ifb washing machine in year 2009. It worked well for first 7.5 years. Since then it started giving problems.

                My machine is in amc. Today we found that the door lock got damaged.

                The technician inspected machine and told us 2 things:
                1. He will try to find a lock and if he fails to get a lock then we need to buy entire door.

                2. Technician predicted the root cause of problem might be fluctuation in power supply/earthing, so he suggested to buy a ifb controller.

                My question is :
                1. Amc includes replacement of metal parts then we should get a door as part of amc because door is a metal part.

                2. Since controller is an external part, can we use controller of any other company?

                3. What is the official price of ifb controller and door?

                  Dear Sirs,
                  I am Loakanathan, past four years residing in the address No. 34, Vinayagar koil street, Thelarspet, Pondicherry-605009. I bought a washing machine made by your company in the year 2010, during that time I was staying at Annanagar, pondicherry. Many times your technician attended service calls and rectified in both the locations without any hastles. By past three months the machine is producing abrupt weird noises when it spins for washing, also the water inlet is not working properly. The same was checked by your service technician in December 2017 and requested us to book a complaint online. My IFB front loading washing machine model Elena deluxe under AMC from may 2017 for three years. Many times the ticket was rises and without our consent it is closed, that's what your personal claims. Lastly one Mr. Ezhilfrom Pondicherry location came to attend the problem and did not attend as my AMC copy was not available with me. It was lost somewhere and still we are looking for that. Then after numerous calls to your CHENNAI and Pondicherry service centres, they could trace in your records and requested us to rise a ticket number again. We have requested your Pondicherry office to send the copy of our AMC duplicate slip for our records. Though several times ticket been raised there was no solutions. I am very sorry to say this was not expected from an Organisation like yours. I am really fedup and hence raising this complaint, hoping that you will take suitable actions at the earliest.

                  I've complained regarding this to your IFB number but still they are saying that my pin code 605009 is not viewable for them and so are not able to raise ticket with a complaint number. In the recent past on 18th January 2018 I complained about the same problem and a ticket was raised with the number [protected]. This was not closed but still I received a message that the ticket has been closed.
                  My questions are;
                  1. Why I am not able to raise a ticket now for the same address for which I was able to raise a ticket in the month of January and several service technician could locate? In fact the ex. Chief Minister's house is located in the same street, just six houses after. How come you are not able.
                  2. Many times ticket was rises and Without getting a reply from the customer how can the ticket be closed?
                  NOTE: I have asked your customer care executive Ms.Deepti to change my registered mobile number from [protected] to [protected] today because of the Aircel network problem. Also she has confirmed that it has been updated. Please communicate with me in future to the new number that I've provided now.

                    I own a IFB Ergo 6512 Red (Washing Machine) which my parents purchased in 2012. Recently they encountered an issue with the rubber fitting inside. A complaint was lodged regarding the same on 03.03.18
                    Ticket Number- [protected]
                    Initially employs at IFB industries refused to recognise the model and were not ready to lodge the complaint or share the service center details. After much hustle the complaint was registered.

                    We were later assured by the technician that the particular part would be replaced by Monday i.e 05.03.18. We received no response of any of kind on the above mentioned date, on subsequent enquiry we were told that the company stopped manufacturing the particular model resulting in no product part replacement.

                    We then got in touch with one of the senior executives in the Ghaziabad team; Mr. Samanta. He initially assured us he’d look into the matter and help us with the replacement. Though we received no support from him or any other IFB employ.

                    To make matters worse on the 7th of March we received a text message stating our complaint has been cancelled owing to apparent involvement of a private dealer which practically never happened. To check on the same we contacted Mr. Samanta and were told that IFB would not aid us in the replacement process and the only available option was to buy a new machine.

                    To state that I am disappointed in the IFB customer care would be a complete understatement.
                    my parents were using that machine and are too troubled because of the unserviceability of the same as it affects their day to day functioning.
                    I would want that IFB a so called trusted brand name should not leave their customers mid way just because they decided to stop manufacturing a particular model. Their lack of concern towards their customers grievances is rather upsetting.

                    I hope some action is taken regarding the above mentioned issue and product part support service which they promised should be assured at the earliest.

                      After purchasing machine on 5th feb. 2018, Washing machine was installed on 7 feb2018 by balaji services technician . Washing machine was not properly installed . I informed him in the evening. Since 7 feb 2018, I have been calling him .bt he never responds. on filing complaint on customer care one technician visited on 20 feb. 2018 at 7:30 p.m. and said i would come the next day with few equipments that was not available with him at that time.Till date he has not returned. On 27th feb2018 another complaint was filed, Contact no. of ifb technician was provided by ifb customer care but technician has not visited yet and resolve the problem . My washing is not properly installed and it is not working properly (specially in spinning/ drying). Very bad experience .

                        Machine was completed washing, but water supply of the machine was not stopped.. Water was continuously release the tap and extra water is releasing out. I will try to complaint ifb service centre tirupur... But phone numbers are not available... I am a working women.. So please consider my complaints then give quick service and response... Thank you

                          I complained on 20-2-18 about my 6kg front loading washing machine showing errors one by one and the on and pause switch went inside, technician came from the nearer ifb service on 22 and told the board and shock absorber should be changed, machine under amc so board we will replace and you have to pay for the shock absorber so we paid rs.3600 for it at once and he told within 2days i will come and change but there is no response from the certain service centre so keep on calling them after 10 days another technician from the same centre came and fixed. The warranty of the sa is 1 yr he told but with out knowing the part we paid last april only we changed the same. After changing the board too today it shows the same error code e7. What to do, what step you will take for this? I want to know the actual price and warranty of sa

                            It is to bring into your notice that i received a phone call from ifb (+[protected] on 27-feb, in a bid to inform me that the four-year warranty of my washing machine ifb senorita aqua vx has expired. Simultaneously, the caller also apprised me of my particulars viz. Complete address, email
                            Address, registered mobile number, machine model, date of warranty etc (All of this data was available with ifb only). The executive then went on to explain the charges and details for 2-years amc and also mentioned about the ongoing 25% discount, that was apparently valid till 28-feb. Upon further discussion, the caller asked for the payment to be made in cash, even though i insisted on writing a cheque in the favour of ifb. He cited the reason for the same to be that the cheque would take 2-3 days to clear, and that by that time, the 25% offer would not be applicable. Resultantly, i asked the ifb executive to send an ifb representative to my home to collect the payment (Rs. 4292 - price after 25% discount).
                            On 28-feb, i called the toll-free number of ifb[protected] at 1430 hours, the call lasted for 7:27 minutes. I made the call to primarily double check the above mentioned discussion with the ifb executive. During this call, the same particulars were again confirmed with me. I was assured
                            That i should go ahead and pay the ifb representative the agreed sum provided that the ifb representative is dressed in company uniform and is carrying the valid photo id card and ifb receipt book. At around 1445 hours, the ifb representative (Name: harukh, mobile: +[protected] called me and arrived at my doorstop. As per the instructions given by the ifb executive, i checked for proper uniform, id card, ifb receipt book. Upon confirming all of this, i proceeded with the payment and thus, a receipt was duly issued in my name. Thankfully, i took his photograph, and that of this id card. And his arrival/departure from my home was also captured in
                            My cctv. On 4-mar, i observed that my washing machine was suddenly displaying a ‘door error’. Resultantly, i called the toll-free number of ifb[protected] at 1400 hours to register a complaint.
                            On 6-mar, an ifb representative (Mobile: +[protected] arrived at my home, and asked for amc papers. He took photos of the same, and shared them with this subordinate in ifb. Within a few minutes, he received a call from his subordinate only to be told that the amc is fake, and that someone has fraudulently collected money impersonating as an ifb representative. Nonetheless, the ifb representative checked my washing machine and informed that the pcb and door lock are not functioning properly, and that they need to be replaced. He then left my home, informing me that he would call me back after discussing the matter again with his senior. I waited for his call but in vain. I then called him at his personal number (+[protected] and he shared with me contact details of his senior (Name: pradeep kumar; mobile: +[protected]. I then called pradeep kumar, and he informed me that there has been a fraud with me, and that he has drafted the entire matter in an email, and shared the same with his senior. He also told me that till the time
                            He hears back from his senior, he cannot proceed further with the repair of my washing machine
                            (This update is as of 1630 hours).
                            In view of the matter as explained above, please look into the matter urgently. As it can be clearly seen, i purely acted as per the recommendations and guidelines suggested by ifb. It is also to be
                            Noted that during the first call that i received from ifb (+[protected], i was convinced beyond doubt that it’s a genuine call, since all my particulars were shared with me, the very same particulars which are available with only ifb.
                            A very important to note: upon doing my research in this regard, i stumbled upon a similar complaint (Of fraud in a similar manner) logged with ifb.                             Thus, i suggest that ifb owns this matter end-to-end and helps me with the resolution (Which includes the repair of my washing machine) as soon as possible.

                            Till now IFB is completely silent. I sent lot of emails to IFB including CEO Mr.Nag but no action has been taken. Now I have no other alternative but to go to Consumer Court for exposing IFB nexus between its employees and the fraudsters.

                              Hi.., I'm venkatesh kumar from arni tv malai, tamilnadu... I bought a washing machine last October and it works smoothly till Feb 15 ... After that it had problem and I complained on the same day but till now that problem is not rectified meanwhile ifb technicians visited twice and they said part is not available need three days, two days..etc ..but yet solved till now.. this is worst customer care service which I faced .. I bought it for my mom and she is patient had a appendix surgery 10 months back .. now she is not well because of this ifb machine repair which forced her to wash the clothes manually. So again she taking the treatment ... Till now we spend RS 10000 for her treatment and unwanted tensions...so I'm posting here the official authorities takes the necessary actions and remedies for us.. otherwise we will return the machine or compliant official case..

                                This is regarding the complaint ticket number [protected] provided by ifb customer care.

                                We had launched a complaint by calling your customer care number for an annonymous sound made by the ifb washing machine while clothes being washed.

                                However, we have not received any satisfactory response from your representative.

                                Your executive named roshan visited our place who was very arrogant while dealing with us and also denied to show his identity card to us.

                                Moreover, we have been informed that we would be provided services only if we keep the washing machine on ifb washing machine trolley, which is totally illogical as you people are selling the same trolly for 2000 to 2500k but we are getting the same product in half price in market. Also its just an accessory but brand is imposing their ridiculous norms on us and not providing service even when the product is under warranty.

                                Please resolve this issue on earliest and give written confirmation to us that you wouldn't provide us services else we would be forced to proceed with strict action for this non consumer friendly behaviour by your company.

                                We have received a call from IFB Professional that he will be giving us services against our complaint but we would have to pay him.

                                This is pathetic response as our product is under warranty but still these company people are not taking complete responsibility to resolve this issue, also when we have asked them to provide this in written that we would have to pay because of an accessory then they denied straight away.

                                Now, we have also removed that trolley from the machine and kept it on the floor but even then the company is not giving us proper response.

                                  Complaint#[protected] : i had registered this complaint with ifb more than 6 months back that my microwave is not working and still my issue is not resolved. I tried calling ifb customer care multiple times and every time they said that someone will visit soon. The customer care guys even gave me the contact of your local service advisor lead - raghavendra (Mob:‪[protected]‬). This guy raghavendra is very arrogant and he informed me to buy a new microwave without even visiting my place. My microwave is fortunately still under warranty and i think these guys are waiting for my warranty to get over.

                                      I am s. D. P. Dixit, from lucknow. I purchased one 6 kg. Fully automatic front loading washing machine during february, 2017 through flipkart. I have been repeatedly trying to get free servicing during its warranty period for do many months, but the same could not be attended. During this week, only some one phoned me and got my residential address and informed that the servicing shall be carried out next day, but the same could not be done as yet. I therefore, request you to kindly extend its warranty period further and ensure its free servicing as admissible under warranty period without any further loss of time, as it is a case of breach of contract between the company and customer.

                                        I have bought a microwave oven. The fan of oven is faulty and when ever i complain, a technician comes and do some temporary fixing. Next day, oven again gets out of order. It has only been one month since i bought it.
