I had purchased ifb 9.5kg fully automatic machine on 10.11.2017 in ludhiana (141001) but till date no body has visited for installation and demo. We have been calling in customer care but nobody is paying head to our requests.

This is quite lacklusture approach by a multinational company by not sending their representative for installation and demo of a washing machine.

    I purchased tl5rcg washing machine on 2 sep 2016. It has 2 years warranty.
    A complaint of heavy noise while spinning was logged on 30/10/2017. An ifb engineer came on 1/11/2017 in the late evening. He advised to use descale after every 15 wash. He used one descale and said that the sound will go now after 2 wash. But the problem continued till date even i used one more descale.
    Please send a capable engineer to tackle the heavy noise while spinning.

      I have a ifb senator 6kg, washing machine. It developed a problem a couple of days ago. Called ifb customer care, they sent in some technicians. Technicians said that the motor needs to be replaced. I requested they get me a ifb genuine spare parts motor, which they agreed to.

      But when they got the motor, there was nothing on the motor which identified it as an ifb genuine part. No sealed packing, no hologram, nothing. On top of that they wanted to charge me 8000 rs for this motor. To make matters worse ifb doesn't have a spare parts rate card anywhere on their website. How should a customer know what is the mrp of a spare and the warranty for the same? Are you going to leave your customers at the mercy of these service technicians who will charge whatever they wish?? They might give
      Me a bill of 2000 for a part that costs 200. There is no way for me to know.

      Desirable resolution:
      I want you to publicly list the spare parts price somewhere on your website for customers to view and cross verify against the technicians bills.
      Otherwise your words regarding providing customer service as mentioned on your website "to offer them the best product to buy, an innovative product that constantly outperforms peers and outstanding service that makes every customer smile." will just be empty declarations.

        I am parmod kumar working in ntpc as addl genaeral manager. I am posted outside. My wife and daughter staying in noida and using washing machine. Our washing machine (Ifb make) is 5 years old. Our complaint ticket no. Is [protected]. Technician came, and asked that your washing machine tub is faulty. Service center rang me and told that tub, bearing and some pipe to be changed and cost is 7000/-. We asked him to repair. While repairing drum was also damaged, seems carelessness of technician. Then next day he changed parts and started machine without load. He took 8360/-. When machine was tried on load it did not run and told that as machine is wet, it will be ok in tomorrow. When my wife started machine today it did not started. She rang technician. He told that your motor is damaged and it will cost 4500/- or else you take amc. We are feeling cheated at this stage.

          I buy a microwave oven from flipkart. From demonstration day till not it's not working and technician send report to flipkart problem resolved. But till today problem is not resolved and ifb microwave is not in condition o[censored]se. The ifb products quality is so much bad, they start creating problem from first day. Regarding this problem i informed to flipkart but they also not responding properly. Ifb take guarantee, after technician visit this not happen again

          I purchased Ifb washing machine in 2015 front door senorita aqua sx/vx 6.5 kg, 1000 rpm model.Now rubber smell was coming from the tub and the sound also different. kindly to take necessary action.I call to tollfree number somany times, but they did not respond.

            We purchased a senorita-vx model washing machine on 23/08/2012. Since the warranty was over and the machine was faulty, we complained. The person who came from the service centre, promptcare, trivandrum have changed the controller saying that it was faulty and we paid 6200 rupees. Jjust after 6 days, it is again faulty. Very poor response and service.

                After acknowledging my mail dated 28.10.17 no response is coming even after my follow up on 02.11.17 on you mail id given below

                My query was 'have to withdrawal your extended warranty policy system as your website is not showing the details... But at the time of purchase and demo representative it was there'.

                I shared my observation to customer care but he informed extended warranty & amc are same thing which is not correct.

                No respond from a brand like ifb really hurts us.

                There is no standard procedure in IFB.

                From 18 days of purchase I am continuously making follow ups for Extended warranty.

                One customer care personnel informs that there is no such policy available ...only AMC is there.

                Once I made complaint for same then I was informed that we can take Extended warranty within 90 days from the date of purchase, refer voice recording. When I insisted that I want this immediate then they arrange phone call with nearest branch. Branch informed me that you can avail this facility with in 60 days for purchase. When I questioned why there is so much variegation then I was informed actually time is 90 days but since customer fails to book the same on time hence for safety reasons we generally informs 60days but even then no body came to collect the money & complaint was closed with informing the customer.

                Then again I made follow up (with in 60 days) then I was told you can avail this facility with in 30 days of purchase and since time is over you can not opt for Extended warranty.

                With above facts ...refer my mails, complaints & voice recording with customer care, we conclude there is no standard procedure in IFB ...a company of repute.

                When I shared this incident with my colleagues they were surprised that IFB can do this with their customers.

                Such a bad experience from a company of reputes...

                  2. All your executives only lie.
                  3. My motor to be delivered in sambalpur around 20 days back still has not reached Bhubaneswar.
                  4. Neither the local service people nor Bhubaneswar are ashamed of their inept service.
                  5. Please don't sell machines if you don't have the spares.

                    I have registered a complaint for my ifb mocrowave for its door handle replacement on 24th october under the booking ticket number [protected]. No emgineer visited me uptil now that is 9th nov, 2017. I called customer care center two times in 15 days on my part to follow up with them and complaining them both the times that no enginner visited me and both the the time they did not responded me back. This is very annoying. I am very disappointed with ifb after sales services. Once the engineer called me after my second follow up to fix time to visit but then he also did not visited and i am not the one who will keep calling ifb customer center and there engineer for 4 times again and again. This is very disappointing.

                        I bought a new washing machine on 7th november and still the service engineer didn't approached us for demo. We are in trouble for these two days because they are not responding properly. We don't know the route to resolve this... If we are calling to service centre they are skipping our call by telling some reasons and if we call to customer care they are also not assisting us properly... They are not giving us the solution...
                        Today morning i called customer care for the same problem... They are telling that our demo was cancelled by service center end because of plumbing issue in our home... I am shocked to hear that because we didn't have any call from technician and technician didn't visited our home and home come they can close our demo by telling some issues in our house...

                          I had booked a complaint about water not getting heated to your TOLL FREE no[protected] on 27.10.2017. one person called on that asking when to come. He was informed to come in the afternoon. But he did not come nor contacted me till now. Tried calling to his number, it was switched off . I have been renewing AMC till now, last renewakl was on 19.09.2017, AMC NO. D[protected] dated 19.09.2017 . for one year.

                          There is one of your franchise near my house, called Karthiks India, at TC 16/51, kochar road, jagathy, trivandrum, kerala 695014. I contacted them the next day thinking it was the person from there who had contacted me . He sent technician who came and said that they have not taken the AMC and wanted to see who had taken it. I showed the AMC paper. He immediately tried to contact the AMC provider, but was unable to get it.. He said he will contact the person who has taken the AMC and inform. He did not even bother to see the machine.

                          He asked at what temperature we were using the machine, we told that sometime for washing bedsheets we were using it at 60 to 80 C. Then he s started shouting and said that we are not supposed to use the mmachine beyond 40 C. As per your manual of instruction " only use the cottons at 90C or 60 C programe for heavily soiled laundry". Kindly inform whether your manual is right or your technician.

                          Again i contacted the TOLL FREE number on 31.10.2017 informing what happened . The person whom attended the call said somebody will come within 24 hours. Now it has been days, leave alone 24 hours.

                          Again i called the TOLL FREE number today [06.11.2017] at 9.30 am, informing them the situation, i was informed that my call complaint was attended on 01.11.2017 . I asked him who had attended my complaint on 01.11.2017. He said he cannot confirm from there and somebody will attend in 24 hours.

                          It is really pathetic that an established and prominent company like yours has such poor quality after sales service. If i dont hear from you, i will be forced to go to consumer forum with the complaint.

                          It is a shame that you are employing such poor technicians who misguide your clients.

                          Expecting an immediate response.

                          It pains me right to your company regarding this. The matter should not have come to such an extant.

                            My ifb washing machine had been purchased 3 years ago. Till last month it was under maintenance (Warranty). While operating the machine and the last minute it showed error and at last not able to open the door and the door had been opened with great difficulty.                               We used our microwave 30l brc2 model for the first time for baking cake. The turntable broke while we were using the convection mode at 170 degrees.

                              The customer care is pretty useless and not responsive at all and finally says turntable does not comes under warranty and it will cost rs. 1250

                              How can the turntable broke during the first use? How am i supposed to use it again not worrying that it would break again.

                              Please do not buy ifb products, pathetic customer service, pathetic product quality!!!

                                My name is cinu kuriakose and i am from bangalore, i had purchased a ifb microwave oven (25sc3, metallic silver) from amazon and it got delivered on the 25th oct, 2017.
                                From that day onwards i have been waiting for a demo but unfortunately that has not happened, everytime i call up the customer care the response that i get is they will arrange for the demo but that never happens.
                                Atlast on following up they said a person will come, i got the number of the person and that also did not work out he cancelled the demo.
                                It would be great if this can reach out to the higher authorities of ifb and my issue can be resolved.

                                  Dear ifb,

                                  I have purchased the costliest model of your washing machine senator 8 kg front load to think that it will work better, but i have been facing a problem from the beginning of the purchase. Most interesting thing is that nobody in your company is ready to listen the customer problem.

                                  I never seen best company like you. Where they sales the product, but never look back to customer problem. Even you have open customer care center for making a people fool. Most of the time your customer care cut the phone. If by chance they register the complaint, nobody visit on that complaint. I have already made 3 times complaint to your customer care. But nobody has visited yet.

                                  So, i am going sue in the court and will place add in front paper of times of india. Actually people should know about your best services in the world.

                                    Registered a complaint about the leakage in ifb dishwasher neptune vx model (Purchased two years ago) on[protected]with ifb industries limited (Home appliances division), vadapalani, chennai-600 026 vide regn no.[protected]. Technician visited on[protected]and told that the valve had to be replaced which will cost around rs.3500 including all charges. He suggested to take a amc for two years which will cost rs.7328/- and no charges need be paid for the above replacement since the amc will cover the above charges. I agreed for the proposal and paid the amc amount to the technician on 12-10-17 itself vide ifb industries limited (Home appliances division) vadapalani, chennai-600026 receipt voucher no.2217/038762. He promised to replace the valve and reectify the leakage within two days time. Regret to state that neither the technician turned up since then nor the company took any steps to follow up the complaint so far. This is more so despite repeated calls to the technician and to the company. The repair remains unattended even after taking amc and after a delay of 25 days so far. Such a callous attitude from a reputed company like ifb is really shocking and leaves a bad taste as regards its maintenance of customer relations. Hope the matter will be resolved without any further delay.

                                      My washing machine broke down on 18th september 2017. I have registered complain at ifb[protected]. (Dear customer, your ticket no. Is [protected]. Ifb representative will visit shortly. For assistance please call[protected]/ [protected].).

                                      Service within 48hrs was promised but nobody contacted till 23rd september 2017. Service representative appeared on 23rd september and figured out problem with some parts. Since my amc was lapsed he took a cheque of rs. 2926/- and asked to register complain after 3 weeks. Meanwbile it took 2 weeks to clear my cheque but i didn't get any notification about amc.

                                      I registered my next complain on 27th october. (Dear customer, your ticket no. Is [protected]. Ifb representative will visit shortly. For assistance please call[protected]/ [protected].) again no body turned up for a week.in between i made several calls to customer care but didn't get anything more than promises.

                                      No one from ifb bothered to inform when my complain will be attended. Finally i got got number of ifb service manager and called him on 30th october. He connected me to the service representative who attended my complaint. He said he will attend my complain on 4th october but he didn't turn up. Upon calling him he promised to come on 6th october and no show again.

                                      I have completely lost trust on ifb the company once upon a time once i was proud of.

                                      It's huge inconvenience to my family to be without washing machine for more than a month.
                                      It's pure mental tourcher by ifb.

                                      Hope ifb management is sensitive enough to their customers and give some attention to my complaint.

                                        I have washing machine of model sanoritax. I was complain on july month and there is some part change require. After so many followup person was come and change parts. But after changing parts. There is water leakage from bottom, and noice issue is not solve as it is.
