Our ifb dryer is not working and a complaint was registered on oct 12th, 2017 (Ticket # : [protected]). The service center never contacted us and cancelled the ticket on 23rd. I opened another ticket on oct 24th (Ticket # : [protected]) and the service center has not contacted to fix/find out the details of the issue even after a week. I made numerous calls to the customer care center and talked to the supervisors, but no progress other than the promises that it would be taken care of the same day.. Very frustrated. Cant believe that a company like ifb is letting their customer care centers and service centers (Trivandrum) function like this... Unbelievable..

A month back, i had reported the same issue and a guy apparently fixed and took the money from me. But then after a few days it broke again and so, i'm after the same problem for more than a month.

    At diwali festival bought ifb fully automatic washing machine (Order id - od[protected] with lots of happiness but customer service of ifb ruined all. Almost 20 days over but no one turned for installation even after daily follow up with customer service center. Each time i’m promised with new time & given personal number to contact for get done installation. But either provided phone no. Is wrong or person does not pick up the phone. This i was never imagined, big brand like ifb would have this kind of worst customer service. Pls. Suggest where i should contact to get done installation.

      Hi,

      We had a problem with the ifb washing machine that the water is not getting drained properly as it was not used for 6 months hence we registered a complaint by dialing [protected]. Service engineer was so quick at my door step, just opened the machine and said pcp board need to be changed (Rs.2800) if there is problem with the drum, it would cost around (Rs2500) so he advised us to upgrade to amc (Rs.5605) for 2 years. The payment was also made.

      I was so annoyed that the problem could be rectified only after a month as the amc paper work has to get processed.

      Is this how an ifb can serve their customers after buying their product?

      The bill that was issued was hand written and the gst is rs 766. Attaching the bill for your reference.

      Hope this would get addressed by the respective authorities.

        I purchased ifb top load 7kg washing machine through amazon, which was delivered on time by them.
        Since then following up with ifb customer service for demo and installation. No one even has called me so far, every day i have been calling them for updates and response is pathetic, will be done in 2 business days.

          Ifb washing machine diva not working and nellore service people took money from us rs.3000/- and cheated us by taking money not at all responding while calling that the problem is still sustaining names of service people who didnt responded and wantedly avoiding are chaitanya ([protected] & [protected]), anusha ([protected]), ram prashanth ([protected]) who is the branch manager, im going to file a complaint in consumer court and this is a part of complaint that im informing to your head office


          This is m. Suchithra from nellore, andhra pradesh as im a regular customer of ifb i have a wide range of products of ifb but i came to know that there is nil service provided by you, as im having a diva washing machine its drum is not rotating i have complained to customer care, after 2 weeks they came and took rs.3000/- for changing mcb and we are threatened and humiliated by them for calling the customer care, they also said that u people should not call customer care so i[censored] had called we are charging the service charge as rs.1000/- and they didnt showed us trail run also. After that also the problem sustained and we called to their own numbers which were given by them but they didnt responded and not at all taking our calls. Again and again im calling and complaining the customer care they are not responding at all. I thought to buy one new micro oven also but from this i came to know that the nil service is provided by the brand ifb

              Ifb industries — elite machine

              I have purchased a washing machine elite and an oven during 2006 and regularly engaging amc with you. My id is 2371391.

              This time i entered contract during dec 2016. For the last 6 months my machine incurred problems which was not properly repaired by the local service provider @ tiruvannamalai-606601 and their service team

              Instead of online complaint we are supposed for direct contact. Each and every time a problem occured it was a mammoth task in getting a staff to visit our premises in get problems solved. We have to make numerous calls, direct visits, shouts and then only a person will attend the problem that too mostly after sun set and around 7 p. M.

              We are unable to monitor the work they are doing. They made some jimmick and make the machine run. After their departure when we wash clothes it may not perform washing the clothes properly leaving the cloths wet with soap, undry and unwashed.

              Some times they inform that some parts worn out and have to be replaced. They convey that have to indent the part and replace after the receipt of the same. This will take a few days and we have to follow the process as above.

              Further after their visits some fresh problem may creep in and again we have to depend on them by doing the above continuous, repeated, painful process of calling in fact in other words pleading

              Our latest problem started 4 months back and the problem was door lock repair. After the usual process of call the service people one person attended three times and make the lock function by some temporary method without proper repair. Later lock completely broken and while attending the lock by the service man the door frame was broken. Replaced at a cost of rs.1000/- from some spare.

              After some time, the control rotator, (Was, on, off, dry, spin wheel) failed. After usual process of painful and pathetic calling one man came and advised as supply of that part is unavailable and have to use in the prevailing condition only

              Again after 6 days the machine not function. After usual calling process an service person attended and advised that there was of lot of dust inside. He cleaned and make machine run.

              As usual after his departure the machine failed and not washed properly. Deepavali came in between. Clothes accumulated. We waited for the person to attend as assured by him. But he didn’t turn up. Then we made ar repeated calls and shouts and we went online. A person came, replaced a board, make machine run and left. Immediately after his departure when we washed clothes again no washing occurred now we prefer this complaint.

              Kindly arrange to repaired properly. Before coming advised to call as we are out of station for a few days.

              Our grievance is mentioned below

              1. Even though we are using ifb products for the last 10 years we are facing the worst situation now from the local service provider and his team. The service provider is not taking care of his customers, the image of the company, product etc, no control over his team or otherwise they also in collusion with their team. We are very much pained, incur lot of physical and mental agony along with costs.

              2. At the time of entering contract they advised to change the motor of the machine. Also it was informed they received the motor for replacement but so for it was not changed along with the damaged door frame. We do not know the fate of your supply

              3. Even though we book our call early in the morning the service persons are not turning up during day time s from 10 a. M to 6 p. M the usual time for everyone. But they prefer to attend only after sun set around 7 p. M. Even though ignoring our frequent reminders. Also while booking they never convey the probable time of turning up of service persons.

              4. When we interact with people owning ifb machines most of the consumers convey the same problems and they are becoming the bad ambassadors.

              5. My amc is live with another fifteen months.in the last 6 months i had a very bad experience and hope that it will not be so in the remaining amc period and retain us customers of your privileged company. Please do attend my grievance and make arrangements to repair the machine properly through proper instructions and taking actions of service persons

                I am an old customer of ifb.. I have my old machine in amc but due to some unserviceable parts they said t can't b revived.. So they gave an exchange offer from service centre for new machine.. We have paid cash to ifb tambaram service centre wt owner name mahesh prabhakaran on 17.10.17.. Til date the machine s not delivered n they don reply to phone calls.. Pls do the needful. I have never in life seen such a pathetic service who takes two months to say a part s not available for service after hundreds of phone call n fifteen days to deliver a washing machine after paying cash..

                  I own a IFB MD 550 dryer which has a regular service record done by Ace Ent ever since in Mumbai. The long belt has been replaced earlier and I hv bills to prove the same. I HV now the same belt broken again which was previously replaced at Rs 1250. This time Ace Enterprises the service agent wants 3200+ labour cost. I cannot accept the price increase of 1250 to 3200. This is daylight robbery and unethical practice. Is this the way things work with ifb. I need the belt as I can fix this myself if belt is supplied also. My name Nikhil Minawala [protected].

                    I have registered complaint on 25th to fix the issue of ifb washing machine. The complaint no is. [protected].
                    As per them it should suppose to attend and fix issue in 24. Hours. However, its not done. Then i called them on 27th they said ok we will raise it to the branch and will solve it asap. I did ask someone to whom i can contact. Then call center people given prema number[protected], which i am trying but not reachable. Again waited for one more day and no one has attended complaint. Again called to the call center this time also the same answer. We will raise it to the branch. Then they kept me on call for another 20 minutes. Since i sticked to transfer the call to the call center manager. He came online. His name is anil and he committed to attend and resolve the issue by today eod. Till now its not done.

                    Very bad service. While selling you are behind customer. However, after sell you are not understanding customer situation. It's very very worst service of if.

                    You should be kind enough to resolve customer complaint asap.

                    Now, they have given the reason that technician called and your complaint is closed. Again they are raising the new complaint. It is fake reason. No one has called and without informing me they have closed the complaint.

                        Our washing machine is not working since 2 days. It doesn't spin. Local service guy told that PCB need to be replaced and it costs around 12, 000 Rs. I would like to know the actual price of the PCB board and the guarantee on the product.

                          Problem is with waterdraining problem i. E dp err eventhough the techinican had come and solved the problem but still the machine is not working the programme runs and stops at last 16 min and displays dp err. So i kindly request u to solve the problem quickly and efficiently. And the technician had visited thrice and examined the problem the machine after repairing it runs for two days and again the machine displays dp err and he fixed the new tool which i have posted the pic.

                            I made complaint to ifb customer care regarding problem, service centre staff came and replaced drum, two bearings charged 6100/-on 16.10.17 after 2 days the same problem, again made complaint they have given ticket no.[protected]on 20.10.17 again technician came and switched on said no problem. But, in vain same complaint. Please do need ful sir.

                              We have purchased ifb washing machine (Tl-rcg 6.5 kg aqua; sr no[protected] installed on 15.06.2017 at km-47, kavinagar, ghaziabad, up. We have faced following defects in a short period of 3.5 months:

                              1. On 16.10.2017 machine tub stopped rotating i. E after 3.5 months, we have made complaint on toll free ticket number [protected] on 16th october itself however the defect was attended on 24th october (After 8 days). As per technician the condenser component was replaced within small period of 3.5 months.

                              2. On 29th october again the tub stopped rotating. Once again complained is lodged on toll free, ticket number [protected]. However, keeping in view the time taken last time we do not know how ifb representative will respond.

                              You are requested to take-up the matter at suitable forum so that a new piece is provided by ifb instead of facing recurring problem. This will help in resolving the problem as well as help in building-up the confidence in the product. An early action will be highly appreciated.

                                I ordered this machine online on 16.10.2017 from paytm. I received the product on 27.10.2017 and booked an installation demo on the same day. On 28.10.2017, i. E., today, the technician came for the demo but was unable to do so as the machine wouldnt work properly. He tried fixing it and restarted it but the same problem prevailled. He suggested that i register a complaint for a replacement as it is still new and unused and i did the samw twice at the ifb care. But still no message from ifb care came acknowledging anything. I tried contacting the seller but he onlg accepts returns and no replacement. Kindly help.

                                  My microwave is not working from 2nd october, 17, i call ifb customers care on 5th october. Ifb technician come on my home on 10th oct. He said me that i come tomorrow and repair microwave. But since 28th oct, technician not repair my microwave. I call many time to customer care, but no satisfied answer from customer care. So i think that 2nd time i not sold ifb appliances.

                                    I am kishore from hyderabad, purchased senorita vx machine. Your executive williams call’d me many times and asked me to take amc and while taking amc he clearly confirmed that there will be no charges for any services and replacement of the parts either it may be a small part or big part or anything, and all the services are absolutely free and took money and made amc.
                                    Now there is a problem in my machine, there is an huge sound while spinning the drum, it is literally touching side walls and making more noise and while normal rotating also there is an huge noise. I have call’d customer care and lodged complaint with no:[protected] on 21-oct-2017 and on 23-oct-2017 a technician named ramu came to check the machine and confirmed that there is a problem in drum and bearings which need to be changed.
                                    I said that we have an amc already maintaining then he said it will be charged around 600 to 900rs. I have asked him why you are charging 600 and why you are charging 900 even though i have already paid for amc, the person is saying that if we bring the and fit the drum and bearing in your home it will be charged 600 or if we take the machine to office which is not more than 2 to 3 kms for that 900rs. Fortunately he did not added gst on this 600/900.
                                    I have made call’s to other 7 to 8 technicians who visited for service earlier in 4 years and even they have confirmed the same, there will not be any charges if you have amc for the parts bring to you your home and fitted and they said that 99% of the parts now fitting at the home not taking to the service center.
                                    When i asked why you people are charging this much amount, he said that these charges are for transportation, i am not sure that to bring a drum & bearings on byke from his branch office to our home which is just 3 kms will it charge 600?. Next day i got a call from a lady from the service center and asking that did mechanic came and said about the charges, even that time also i asked why you people are charging money even if we have amc, she is saying that its company charges we don’t charge anything. I just said that i will think and get back to you and hanged up the call. I checked with one of my cousin who is having serena sx model, even he had a same issue with machine and drum got changed in amc and no charges were taken a year back.
                                    While taking the amc williams clearly said there will be no charges for any service and for any part replacement whether it might be a small or a big part and took amc 3.5-4k and provided with re receipt on 30-mar-2017.
                                    Now one of your associate said there will not be any charges and another is saying there will be a charge which is from company. If charges implies then that should be informed initially before taking amc not while having an issue, this is not there for other appliances. Not sure this brought to your notice by other people that after taking amc also we are getting charged with some or other amount which is not appropriate which is degrading ifb value and standards in after sales services.
                                    My concern is that is ifb charging extra cost from customers even though after taking amc or these franchise people are charging the money. Please return back my amc money and cost of the machine and take back the ifb machine.

                                      My washing machine elena sx 6kg 800rpm is creating a noise and not draining the water. My ifb id is 3635610. Very recently there was some problem with the drum so the shock ups had been replaced. Now i switched on the machine in the morning but it created some noise but was working so i changed the washing cycle and left for school hoping that things would be alright but till evening the water remains in the machine.

                                        I am ifb 7 kg fully-automatic top loading washing machine user. And i have been facing issue with the machine as it is giving error ac lo. I have logged a complaint with the customer care on 20/10/2017 regarding the issue and i was been told that the engineer will attend the issue within 24 hr. But the engineer visited my place after 2 days and that to after following up with the customer care and speaking to the supervisor ms. Sunitha from goa branch. After the engineer visit he said that is issue with the motherboard of the washing machine. And as the part was not available he said that the part will be delivered with 3 days but its has been more than 5 days and nobody is been turn to resolve the issue. It is always me who have to call the customer care and ask for the update of the issue. Mostly the service in hyderabad is pathetic and now i regrade o[censored]sing ifm product.
