I am writing this in frustration so please forgive me for my language. By accident unfortunately i bought one front loading ifb washing machine thinking patriotic. Its been 3 days a ticket # [protected] has been raised and despite i made several calls to customer care nobody bothered to call me for installation.

This is the worst customer service i have seen where after purchase company is not bothered to listen or act.

    Dear sir,

    Hope this mail find you in best of your health.

    I am ashir kumar resident of greater noida, my father bought one microwave (
    Ifb 30 ltr 30brc2) from snapdeal on 25th september 2016. On this i got a warranty of 1 year.

    Unfortunately on 28th of august 2017 the touch pad on the right of the microwave stopped working. I got to know about non-working microwave from my mother on 17th september 2017. Then, i called ifb customer care team to register my complaint with them on 18th september 2017. After i had a word with the customer care agent i got a ticket number ([protected]). The very next day i got a call from the service team i don’t remember the name of the person who called. ([protected]) this was the number i got a call from on 19th september. Member of the service team asked me about the issue which i was facing with the microwave, on that i told him that the dial pad is not working. Without looking at the microwave physically that guy said that i got the issue and it will take 15-20 days to get the spare because we don’t have it with us at the moment, to which i asked him how is it possible for it to take so much of time and the answer i got was that i have to order the spare and this much time it take to come to our place and then we will replace it. I said ok, but try to hurry up.
    So i waited till 3rd october 2017, to check the update about the repairs. Customer care agent that day told me that within 24 hours we will address the issue and someone will come to check the microwave.
    On 4th october 2017 after completion of 24 hours i again called the customer care team, when i got a shocking update that your ticket has been cancelled and i can generate the new ticket for you. I said "no, i want to know how ticket got cancelled without me knowing about it". To which customer care agent said that i don’t know sir how it got cancelled. I said i will not consider the new generated ticket because i don’t know the reason of cancellation of my previous ticket. Then after getting frustrated i asked the agent to forward my call to the team leader, to which he said that they are busy at the moment and i can arrange a call from my side so that the leadership team can directly give you a call. After an argument and long holds i said ok you make sure that i get a call from the leadership team (Didn’t get any call for 3 days).
    On 7th october 2017 i yet again called the customer care team. I directly asked the agent that i am not in the mood to explain you anything so please forward my call to the escalation team or seniors. To which he said that because we don’t have any complaint registered with us so we can't forward the call and i can generate a new ticket for you to forward the call to the escalation team. I was adamant to know the reason how my original ticket got cancelled? To which he had no answers. After much of an argument i said okay, you generate the new ticket because i want to share my worst experience with the leadership team. So i got a new ticket ([protected]) then my call got transferred to the escalation team executive narsimah, humble guy heard my whole story and said that give me till monday evening till 6 pm and your microwave gets repaired because i told them that i will writing to consumer forum about this experience. But still i gave chance to narsimah and waited till 6 pm of 9th oct 2017 (8th was sunday) but still no one came to attend my issue and no follow-ups. I again called the customer care team and talked to narsimah and i asked him to forward the call to someone superior then him. He forwarded the call to team leader of escalation team and told him that it's been 21 days and my microwave is sitting like a junk at my home and this is a huge dispute because i am the one calling you guys again and again and nothing is happening. To which he said sir give me one last chance to resolve the issue and he again asked for 24 hours. After much dispute i said okay i am ready to give you 24 hours but on the recorded line also told him that i'll not escalate it if my microwave get fixed and operational by 6 pm of 10th oct 2017. I repeated my words again so that there is no confusion in communicating my thoughts. To which team leader said yes. I again waited and today a guy came to my home at 4:30 pm checked the microwave, when i asked what's the issue with it? He didn’t responded, then i asked how much it will cost to replace the part? He said 600-700 rupees. But i asked him will you be able to make it operational now? To which he said no, first we have to check whether the part is available with us or not. If it is not available then we have to order it and it will take 2-3 days to get that part. Then i again gave a call to escalation team and first i talked to the team leader then i talked to the sr. Team leader ms. Ritu, again she was very humble and polite, she heard my whole experience very patiently and she has been constantly following up with the team in greater noida. But i have lost faith in anyone of them because no one was able to keep their words.

    Now sir, my question to you is why should i give these 2-3 days when i already waited for the spare part for 22 days?
    Why should i not escalate it to consumer forum?
    Is this the way to treat a customer who bought your product in a faith that in case of emergency i'll get best of service?

    I am so frustrated now that i feel like trashing my microwave and buy a new one for my mom from a better brands like samsung or lg, who are better at handling customer's issues.

      I purchased a new washing machine senorita aqua sx. First i had to follow up for installation, it took 6 days for getting the product installed. Thats the begining, intallation technicians main job was to sell the liquid detergent he was not interesting in giving demo but selling. When technician left pipe started leaking. I called him again and he didn't pick-up the call. Logged a complaint again with customer service. They gave complain number and told someone will visit in 24hrs. But no-one turned up, next day they gave me service center number. I tried calling the number multiple times, very rude behaviour of service center and finally they told call customer service again as they don't service my area. They are making me turn rounds. Pathetic experience, first time i bought ifb product, but litterally i start regretting from day one only. Never buy ifb.

      I got a call after this complaint from IFB, the executive told me service center will contact me and next day I got call from service center only to hear they don't serve my area in Bangalore. Team IFB I am not living in a village where you can't serve.

        I bought it from flipkart after hearing good things about them. Ordered on 22nd sep, received on 4th oct and demo/installation was scheduled. On 6th they sent an engineer who broke our pipe during installation and had absolutely no idea what is required for installation.

        He fled and said someone else would come for the installation. We repeatedly called but no response. Now a message came today 10th oct that my installation was cancelled.

        How can a ticket be cancelled without customer's confirmation?!!!

        They are good for corporate when it comes to home buyers they dont care.

            To whomsoever it may concern

            I had logged a call with ifb customer service on 20-sep-2017 for ifb neptune vx dishwasher drain outlet pipe leakage, it took around 5 days for your team to arrange technician visit. A technician by name madhu visits and try to fix and he comes with not suitable material and charges around 1200/- for fixing the issue and replaces it with new part and breaks the covering and vanishes. The other day the issues continues and i have logged around 10-12 request to customer support and have been calling the so called engineers but no luck and came to know that the part which he changes was not compatible with the damaged product. I have been following it up customer support and the technicians (Madhu, murthy, rajkimar and ravi) and these people says that part is not available and they have raised the purchase order and it is about to receive from 10 days. I don't know being such a big and reputed firm ifb such a ill and pathetic support. I did a very big mistake by choosing the product

            I don't understand the kind of pathetic support ifb is providing and for which i have lost entire faith on the support and products. Despite of me paying and renewing the amc this is the kind of response which i have been receiving and there is cost levied for each case.

            Team, is there some one who can responsibly take over and resolve the issue.

            Note:- if this is not resolved at earliest i would be filing a consumer complaint.

            Friends who ever is going to purchase ifb products think 10, 000 times. Very pathetic service despite of warranty or amc. They will make you run ever nuke and corner and you will feel to throw away the products and go for some other competitor products who are providing a wonderful service and products.

              I have purchased ifb washing macing last 6 moths ago very happy condition because india company. But last one months ago some create issue in my machine and call custometr care and custmoer care came my home and ask your mother board of machin has been fail. After 7 days your machin is ready after 10 days i cal service center what about my machin service center told me min 1 months your part is ready that i surprised one month ifb is india company why one months parts will be come. Next day i call customer care ifb tool free number your issue will solve days but till one month not not come the part my machin.

                Sir my above said washing machine is under amc expires on 20.10.2017 now the service centre noida is pressing hard for renewal of amc. It is regretted to inform that afer some repairs last year some part in my the washing machine is missing in spite of several complaints the said problems yet to be resolved. New amc is due service centre is institing for newal.                     I am really surprised no one responds to calls at ifb service. I think k people work in nawabi style here. They say they can come and install only after 11. Since they have to be at office till 11. When i call at 11.30 they would say they will have lunch and come. And never turnup.

                    Understanding that it is festival season. Though the washing machine was delivered on 26 september i waited for the festival to be over... Looks like their festival at ifb service goes till diwali.

                    I am. Really frustrated and really do not know what to do and how to make these guys install the washing machine...

                      I have a ifb convection (Model : 30frc2) with touchpad functioning issues since last month. Service department has taken our complain but unable to resolve, mentioning shortage of parts. I have tried to reach mr. Dilip jena, service manager but only got weird and strange replies. And more to it, mr. Dilip has disconnected my call in between our discussions and not picking my call since.

                      Using a brand like ifb and staying in a kolkata metro city, its very strange to believe that company is unable to provide me any services. Its a new product bought one year back only... Request to provide immediate solutions otherwise we would like to return the product to the company only.

                        Two representatives purported to be from the company visited my
                        Residence at 1015, sector-13, hisar on 30/9/2017 in connection with
                        The servicing of my washing machine. They just switched on the main
                        Supply button and told that the main pcb deck (Sensor) needs replacement.
                        The cost involved would be rs 4600/-. They charged rs 590/- as their visiting
                        Fee and left without rendering any service at all.
                        I doubt whether ifb has any authorized service center at hisar at all.
                        They wanted me to give a satisfaction certificate from me for the so called
                        Service rendered which i refused to furnish.

                        The PCB of my washing machine is not working for the last 2 months.Several times the service man has visited although the pcb is still not working
                        PLEASE take action on priority

                          I'm david and i have been using your product (Ifb washing machine) for the last 20 years. The one which i have now is the third one bought in the year 2012. Now after almost 5 years there was a complaint in the month of august 2017 and we were told that the drum of washing machine was damaged and had to be replaced. As told by the service centre we did the same. while they were doing this work they recommended us to take an amc for one year and the validity is up to august 2018. While replacing the drum they broke one of the screw and promised to replace that in another one weeks time.

                          after all this there has been no proper response from the service centre. We have called them several times and they would send some people who are unaware about the work and would just give some lame excuses and close the ticket immediately. The work is never completed and they told us to use the washing machine and also told there would be some noise and jerk while using the drier. When the severe jerk of the machine was complaint they just gave a solution to place a thick mat under the machine. How can this be done? My parents who are old are alone at home and last week while trying to wash clothes the entire machine just fell down due to the jerk and by the grace of god it didn't cause any accident as my mother was in the premise as well. Now we only have the time to call them report the incidents but it is handled in a very light manner and the guys who come do not even want to see the amc details and now they are again demanding a huge amount for the repair.

                          in the first place the machine was in good condition only with a drum problem which has reached to this situation by the service given by unprofessional staff. So i request you to kindly look into this and do the needful as i'm not getting any proper response from the service centre in cochin or calicut. They only want to close the ticket even without resolving the problem. I am writing this mail with great hope and believe that a reputed company like yours will definitely go for the escalation and there by satisfy the customers.

                            For the past 3 weeks i have raised tickets to resolve my washing machine repair at ifb call centre, but the service executive is not attending the repair.
                            When trying to raise complaint at callcenter they are providing service center no and service center is not accepting the request but demanding the money - inspite the machine is under warrenty.
                            Ifb twitter helpline is also not responsive.
                            Ifb toll free feedback no [protected] is also not responsive.
                            Got call from [protected] - i said the machine is under warranty - he disconnected the call - pathetic service.

                            NO the issue was not resolved .. IFB Team is so fraud that they closed my ticket without reaching me and when I call again they are raising a fresh ticket as fresh complaint.. so as to show that the complaint is new again ..

                              Hi,
                              I have lodged a complain regarding my 20sc2 ifb microwave whose touchpad is not working. The service guy is charging 1400 + 325. I asked that the price is too high for touchpad then he came down to 1200 + 325. Is this a vegetable market where price of spares is done by service guy or actually done by the company.?? I asked to check atleast is this repairable or not but he denied that it cant be repaired without seeing the condition. I recommend never ever buy ifb product because its quality and service is pathetic.

                                Dear sir,
                                I bought a neptune dx dishwasher from ifb point in 2014 with my bajaj emi card. I was offered a special extended warranty of 4 years by the ifb point - lokhandwala branch staff mr vishal. He told me that the warranty period will be stamped on the machine booklet by the installation team. When the installation staff mr farookh visited my house, he initially wrote a warranty period of two years - 2014 to 2016. At that time i immediately spoke to mr vishal at ifb from my mobile, reminding him that he had offered me 4- years warranty and his staff has mentioned only two years on the booklet. Mr. Vishal, immediately spoke to his staff mr farookh and asked him to make the correction from 2016 to 2018 on the booklet. Mr farookh, just cancelled the 2016 and rewrote 2018. When i requested him to rewrite the period of warranty all over again, he seemed irritated and was reluctant to do the same, so i asked him to sign below the correction to endorse the same, which he did very reluctantly again. His reluctancy did surprise me, but the joy of purchasing the first dishwasher of my life overcame the impolite behaviour of the installation staff mr farookh.

                                Now in august 2017, when the dishwasher broke down, (Around 4th aug registered on tel no -: [protected], i got a rude shock to know that there was no four-year warranty offered and it was only a two-year warranty which has expired. Further i was accused that "myself", the consumer has committed forgery by cutting the 2016 and changing it to 2018 on the back of the booklet.
                                When i checked with ifb customer service call center about my warranty details, they claimed that it is not reflected on their system. Also on speaking to their service manager mr. Sanjay singh, who played a trick by calling somebody on a conference line stating it is mr farookh, who stated that he never made any such correction to the warranty date on the booklet,
                                (Surprising, that mr. Farookh remembered a notification that was made 3 years ago, in an instant). On further enquiring with the ifb warranty system, it is learnt that the warranty period written by this installation staff is the only notification and final mention of the warranty period for any machine. The company does not keep any record of the warranty period on the purchase bill/receipt or even on their consumer data portal. Its surprising that ifb keeps record of all other details of their consumers except their warranty period. Further mr sanjay singh, told me that he also enquired with mr vishal (From whom i purchased the machine at ifb point lokhandwala) that he has denied that he ever made any commitment to me for a four year warranty.in other words it is to state that "i" the consumer has committed forgery on a booklet as claimed by an ifb staffer.in such a big company how can the booklet be the only proof of their warranty period - what if a consumer has misplaced or lost the booklet? Does it mean that there is no warranty on the machine?? In this digital age, when the company is operating all over the nation, how can they not keep notification of warranty period on their data portal? How can mr sanjay singh tell me that many of their consumers have been indulging in forgery of the warranty period? If it is so true, why has the company not changed the warranty period procedure, like other companies and email it to the consumer, so as to keep a record?
                                The way mr. Farookh and mr. Sanjay singh categorically stated that many clients try to cheat the company by making corrections to the warranty dates and challenged me to prove the same if mentioned elsewhere, got me taken by absolute surprise.
                                In retrospect, it seems to me that there is a deliberate attempt by ifb to first attract their consumers by way of offering extended warranty periods, and then making deliberate corrections on the warranty booklet, so as to blame their consumers and wash their hands off their commitment.
                                Most importantly, as a consumer i was not even aware that the booklet is the only document which is proof of warranty period, as nowadays, all companies send warranty details by email.
                                I have paid an amount of almost rs 5000/- to get my dishwasher working and wish to have the following queries answered :-
                                1) how come ifb being such a big company can have no other record of warranty period of their appliances except a handwritten mention on the back of a booklet by an ordinary staff?
                                2) when the customer service center can keep record of all other details of consumers and their appliances, how come they have no record of the warranty period offered to each consumer?
                                3) how can the staff of ifb service centers allege that consumers are committing forgery on the warranty period written on the back of the booklet? If such issues have been happening (Which i do not believe a consumer would do), why has the company not taken corrective measures to mention the warranty period on the bill or even on their data centre? How can an important issue such as warranty period be dependent on the handwriting of a staff?
                                4) above all, how can your senior manager mr sanjay singh believe his staff mr farookh whose reply on a conference phone line regarding the correction which happened in 2014, 3 years prior, remember it instantly. Its obvious that some trickery is happening in the ifb company. Firstly they lure their consumers on the pretext of longer warranty periods and if per chance they have to keep their promise in the 4-year window period, they have planned it well by teaching their staff to state that the consumers have committed forgery, when this is a tactic used by them?
                                5) why did mr sanjay singh tell me that many of their consumers have committed forgery in the past, as per his experience? What was he trying to tell me?

                                I have two machines of ifb - dishwasher and washing machine. I feel cheated by the company as they do not want to acknowledge their commitment to me. Which is why they have not only alleged forgery on my part but also challenged me to prove the same.

                                I seek redressal for being cheated by ifb industries and demand following penalties-:
                                1) a refund of the payment made against my dishwasher repair in august 2017.
                                2) to reinstate the commitment of warranty until 2018 for the dishwasher.
                                3) to pay me costs for defaming and calling an honest consumer a cheat by alleging that i have committed a criminal offense of forgery, when in fact i have paid 65 k to ifb and purchased two machines. How can ifb accuse me of committing forgery on the say so of an installation staff?

                                It is not just the money for repair that has already been paid by me, but the absolute shock and sheer insult that i have had to undergo in the presence of their staff at my residence, of being called a cheat and a criminal. When i can immediately pay to repair my machine in spite of having the warranty, it only goes to show that i seek redressal forthwith along with an apology from ifb for accusing and insulting the integrity of their consumer.

                                  Hello team,

                                  I have submitted complaint of ifb flt senorita aquavx 6.5 kg washing machine on 1/10/2017.

                                  My ticket no is: [protected]

                                  On submitting the complaint they assured that service engineer will visit within 24 hours. But even after 7 days (Today 7/10/2017) no one visited. I am doing regular follow ups, yesterday i have received message stating “ticket #: [protected] has been resolved” again called customer care for status they said problem was resolved and closed the ticket. I don’t know how you can say it was solved?"., no one checked my washing machine and

                                  They created new ticket # [protected] (On 6th oct 2017) for the same issue and promised technician will attend the compliant before 6.30 pm yesterday but till now no one called me.

                                  Pleas e let me know what should i do now? Ifb company simply sells the product but never bothers to provide customer service

                                    We called ifb toll free no. For repairs of our elena washing machine.
                                    So from universal services bandra (East)
                                    Mr. Asif came and inspected the machine and he told to replace the motor and some other part to fix the machine to solve our problem.
                                    We agreed for that and after 2 days he came with motor and other part to repair the machine. He replaced the same but, still the problem of machine vibrating exists. We payed rs, 9300 for the repairs but, its in vein. And after so many calls he isnt respoding.
                                    And hence, we arent satisfied with the services.

                                      I have submitted complaint of aw60-8062, 6 kg washing machine on 3/10/2017.

                                      On submitting the complaint they assured that service engineer will visit within 24 hours. But even after 3 days (Today 6/10/2017) no one visited. Again calling customer care for status they said problem was resolved and closed the ticket. I replied "problem was not solved, no one checked my washing machine and how you can say it was solved?".

                                      They rpelied that they will create new ticket for the same issue again.

                                      Why you people make false promises.

                                      I have even contacted customer care services 4-5 times for same complaint but still it is unattended.

                                      Please treat this matter urgently otherwise i have reluctantly opt for consumer forum.

                                        They responded but they changed the other parts but didn't solve the main issue.
