Had bought a new washing machine last august (16) and has stopped working since 4th august 17. Have called the customer care and raised multiple complaints but machine is still in dead condition. First visit was after 10 days of the complaint and said there is a fault in pcb and need to be replaced. After 4 days, pcb was replaced and then stated that detector has to be replaced. Post that there have been multiple calls and 2 visits but both the reps had come just to take pictures of the detector. Today, 12 sept after me raising complaints on multiple forums, the rep visited and changed the detector and tried diagnosing the problem. He spent 2 hours and concluded that the pcb that was replaced was faulty and that power supply is not passing through.
If ifb service reps are not able to diagnose the problem and ifb is not able to provide quality parts and service, request you to please stop making false promises.
Request you to please replace the machine if you are unable to find working parts for machines under warranty,.

    I had filed a complaint with the customer care on 16th of august regarding the power supply problem in my washing machine, which is still in warranty period. I was given a customer id[protected] and a representative came to my house and took away the control panel saying that it will be replaced within a week. However till now it has not yet been done. When contacted, they say that the part has not yet arrived. Please suggest me where shall i go to get my problem resolved.

      I have lodged a complaint with ifb helpline no on 28th of august regarding my ifb washing machine which is on amc for more than a decade now. My complaint no is [protected]. It is next to impossible to reach ifb customer helpline no the next time. It took about 45 minutes to even register the call..
      The amount that is paid for maintenance is not a small amount that even the helpline connections are limited for ifb service team.
      The call flow is as below
      Complaint no : [protected] registered on 28th august

      Engineer visited on 2nd september. Attended by antek services (Authorised engr). The service response of the customer support of antek services is extremely poor. Even while renewing the amc i informed that it the amc is provided by antek i do not wish to renew the same but we customers are helpless. We have no choice. Antek is the only authorised service dealer in our area.

      Spare part replacement commitment date given 4th september

      Followup call made by me to antek on 9th september

      Revised commitment date for spare replacement 11th september.
      Even today i followup i get a revised date of 12th september.

      I was given a ifb incharge contact no from the call center team which was switched for more than 5 days. When i enquire the same with the coordinator i am told that it is just one instance.

      I do not get revert from the complaint posted to ifb helpline mail id [protected]@ifbglobal.com

      Hoping to get the issue resolved at the earliest

      I got in touch with the IFB branch coordinator Ms.Preeti of Malad branch yesterday(12/09/17) who assured me after speaking to the local authorised service agency Antek Services that the issue will be resolved on 13/09/17. Today when I called to check on the timing when the service engineer will be sent home I am being told that the material is expected to reach them and the same will be sorted out tomorrrow (14/09/17). How long do you expect customers to have patience. Its been 15-16 days I have been waiting patiently and the level of support and the attitude of the customer support team is highly poor rather annoying.
      I need my AMC amount to be returned immediately as there is no point paying you guys for this pathetic service level. Please return my amount immediately without fail. I will never ever recommend IFB to anyone not because of the product but only on only on account of yours/your authorised service partners service level. There is absolutely no escalation matrix and no one is bothered to solve the problem

      nobody has solved the issue. Your followup system is pathetic . I got 2 calls from IFB to confirm that my problem is sorted out. Horrible is the word to be used for your service mechanism.

      Please return my AMC amount that I have paid for no service.

        I bought a dishwasher (Neptune dx) in 2013. I made amc for 2 years of extended warranty. The machine had never shown any problem in its functioning all these while. But for last few months it started troubling us. Currently it's showing f5 and f8 error on its digital screen. So i contacted the nearest service station at bhubaneswar. But the service agents are dramatically playing with us. I had logded complaints regarding this matter at the customer care. But those are also non responsive and too irresponsible. The service agents keep on telling us to contact this person and that and so on... But no one has approached us yet. Now tell me one thing, we bought this machine not to trouble ourselves and waste my whole lot of time in contacting these silly people and spend my phone balance ruthlessly. By this, i don't think i'm gonna suggest any one to buy any of its product form ifb nor shall i think of purchasing any ifb product in future. Any one reading this text please do have a bit of conscience to take some worthy action on this issue and get my problem resolved as soon as possible.

          I have purchased elena dx 5.5 kg front loading fully automatic washing machine. During washing of cloths, the machine is not getting drain nor spin on auto. The filter element provided at the bottom of machine has been checked & it is ok. Further when the machine is vacated there seems to be sound of water collection at the bottom of drum.

          Request to kindly resolve the draining problem of the machine at the earliest.

            I raised a ticket for my ifb top load washing machine for program issue. The ticket number is [protected].

            After raising this ticket some technician called to check my address, afterwards no response. And they closed previous request without any reason. Now it is 10 days after opening the ticket. Today i called customer care 8th time after raising ticket. As always i got a response i got a reply that it will be attended by technician in 24 hours.

            Can i get it fixed by ifb? How much time it will take? Is there any escalation process? What are the escalation contact numbers?

              With ref. To above subject i purchase ifb w/m tl 7 kg tl-sdg aqua s silver 53/63 from croma mumbai 15/08/2017 with request to deliver on 17/08/17 and for installation and demo on 18/08/17. I recd delivary on 17/08/17. After number of calls to customer care ifb and customer care chroma and personally visited to croma store at goregaon for demo and installation, they forgot to take initiative for demo and installation. On 19/08/17 by evening at 06.50 pm without prior intimation, technician visited for demo and installaton and finished with in 10 minits. We found difficulty to operate the machine and installation also incomplete. At 7.15 pm, i inform to ifb customer for the same. They informed that they will arrange expert technician to for redemo and installation.
              /
              On monday 21 remind ifb customer care for the same. They give ticket no. [protected], but they have fail to registered my complaine. On 19.08.2017. Thereafter number of called to croma store, & customer care and ifb customer support, so far no response received by me from them.

              Under such circumstances, i am not interested in your product, so you please take back the same and credit my payment to my account.

              So far no responce from senior manager and with service team, even after 15 days to unable to lift washing machine

              Under such circumstances, poor / bad customer service and responce from croma and ifb, i am not interested in your product, so you please take back the same and credit my payment to my account on priority bassis.

                Hi,

                The washing machine motor is in good condition but my machine is not spinning the ifb service person came and just put one meter below and told it's motor has gone. I asked how can you say that... Can you explain me. He told you call any technician they will tell you same. He told apply amc for 2 years and will replace all parts in next 45 days. Otherwise pay 7k and will replace now. I was surprised without any checks or any repair he just told like that, i was not having any option only pay him 590 for visit as i cannot pay any more for such pathetic service. I know there could be chances of changing motor carbon and with that my motor would have worked, but these ifb service persons don't want to do that. I am really unhappy.. And planning to put a case on consumer forum.
                After raising complain on this website, one more executive visited from ifb and he again told the same thing that motor has gone, please apply amc for 2 years and will replace all parts in next 45 days. Otherwise pay 7k and will replace now. I was surprised and thought since both is saying same thing i should go for amc. I have give the cheque to that guy and in same day i called one local servicing guy, who checked the motor and told me no issue on motor sir.

                He told motor is fine, then he checked the board and he found issue on board which he corrected on very less amount and now my motor and washing machine is working fine.
                Hence i have made stop payment for amc.
                Now i want the compensation of what ifb people did with me:
                First of all when ifb people don't know any thing to rectify why the hell they are called as technician. Why you people are cheating. You are only interested on amc please...
                Please work for people too don't just go behind money and stop cheating.

                I am not going to tolerate this behavior, very first, i have paid 590 on first visits and your technician did nothing, i need the refund of the same, no one pay money for doing some crap job.
                2nd as i face lot of trouble i need the compensation of the same from ifb this should be in any ways, either give me next 2 years amc free... Or whatever way, i won't leave like that i will lodge a fraud case against this if your ifb people have not taken the appropriate action asap.

                Guys whoever is reading this please be aware that the ifb people hardly bother to look into the issue, they just want you to take amc.

                I got a message the IFB raised a ticket to resolve the issue, this will not going to help me any more...as compensation has to be provided by IFP and they need to take strict action on that.

                  I have purchased front load top model 3 years ago have spend more than 10, 000/- till yet for its different complaint again j have. Oiled complain for not working service person from company came and he says that it will almost take 5500/- to resolve problem i said ok do it he keep the full machine open and then 3 days after he again call me that it will be almost 7500/- if you want to make it from company if you want to make it personal i will charge 5000/- almost i said do it from company only almost 25 days goes no one came to resolve the same. If you will not resolve my problem i will pass on message on facebook and also on twitter.
                  Company is very poor in service side i will suggest not to buy a single product of ifb.

                    The drum was recently changed. The alignment seem to be incorrect causing damage to clothes. This was informed to the local service centre. The agency attended the fault but the problem is not resolved yet. Lot of costly clothes have been torn.

                    Please refer to my earlier complaint dated 10.9.2017. I regret to inform that the same problem started once again and i am attaching images of some of the recently damaged clothes . Besides we have lost clothes worth more than the cost of machine. A complaint has been registered with the local service centre in Kilkattalai. Taking in to account the loss and the mental agony we have undergone, I do not want to settle down anything less than replacement of a new IFB washing machine.

                    Appreciate favourable decision at the earliest.

                    I am terriibly disappointed on the lethargic attitude of IFB conpany. There is no response from the company for the complaint given in this portal. It seems they have not taken my complaint seriously.
                    Inspite of my IFB washing machine is under AMC, no service person have attended the machine. Many clothes are being machine washed daily. Will the company not understand the difficulties of the customers.
                    It is not expected out of a company like IFB to act so lethargic. Please expedite.

                    The service person has not yet solved the problem and it is highly regrettable that the company is very insensitive. It is ridiculous to note that a company like IFB is so lethargic in attending to grievances of consumers. It is a very sorry state of affair . I would appreciate a quick response and I will be constrained to take it up to the right forum in case you fail to respond.
                    Thank you so much for attending to our complaint. There seems to be no problem at the moment but we need to wait and see for a fortnight and give our feedback.

                    The agency is now asking for payment of rubber replacement citing that this does not come under AMC.

                    Considering that we have been a customer of IFB for more than 20 years, and also owing to the loss incurred by way of damage of costly clothes, we would appreciate if IFB could waive this charges and also instruct the local agency and confirm.

                      We are using senority sx 6 kg bought on 25/07/2013. Waranty completion on 27.07.2017. Our amc receipt no.7009. Of sri krishna enterprises. The day after powder applied by your service person our washing machine got struck and mal functioned. On complaint registration no response till today (After 7 days of complaint. Every person discouraging for purchase of this ifb machine. When will our complaint be solved???

                      When we switched on only bip voice comes but no any lights of functions on and machine not starts. No any function light on and machine couldn't start. Our machine is upper load fully automatic 6 kg .

                        I purchased a IFB microwave oven on Aug 2017 and after few days it stopped functioning. Due to this I raised a complaint against IFB customer care and to be surprised none of them responded to the complaint and each time when I call the customer care they used to tell like the Technician has been allotted. Still I managed to get the number of Area Manager Mr. Sabarish([protected]) of IFB customer care.                           This is a washing maching purchased in november 2016. Your rep demonstrated how to use the machine. I am using it exactly the same way.

                          The service mechanic came in and said i need to purchase accessories as water is not draining completely and the detergents are getting accumulated at the machine.

                          I am putting the detergent at the exact place as demonstrated. Since it is within the warranty, why should i purchase accessories and also if not purchased have to live with such a faulty machine

                            1. Complaint lodged on 26th aug. Technician came on 27th took rs 1850 for touchpad replacement. After 2days another technisian came and replace the pad but microwave did not started. He took microwave to his shop and brought it back, after atleast 10 calls to the call centre and shop, on 8th sept and took another rs 12000 for pcb replacement.
                            2. On same day after he left i switxhed on microwave and our house mcp tripped. I complained again many times to call centre. But no one has come yet.
                            Pl repair it asap. I want to avoid puting it on blog etc.

                              I have lodged a complaint to customer care 22/08/2017 my washing machine not working. I received a ticket no [protected] after that technician visited house and identified pressure start button is the problem, no stock and it may take 2 days for repair... Till to day no answer from service center, i made calls 5times customer care, they said forwarding mail. But not proper answer from service center, i paid amc dt:03/6/2017 ₹3220 for a year, franchise not responding to calls, customer service says that i ordered pressure start button, not delivered from vijayawada, what can i do? Finally i am suffering a lot as ifb customer, who is responsible for.. Worst service from ifb. Immediately solve the problem..

                                  The company is giving 10 years warranty. Why am i always being pushed to buy other products from the company through the technicians visiting for repair of the machine. Every times complaint has been lodged and on all occasions i was harassed by the technicians to buy soap, or cleaning material or to install filter for the machine.
                                  On 16/08/2017 we have complained for water leakage and your technician had visited and pick up some of the part from machine and he go back my machine had closed for 22days. There is no reply from your service center with in 22days. After so many personally visit to your local center for complaint they reply us that parts not in stock..
                                  On 07/09/2017 when we request consumer protection trust officer to phone call your service center and they phone called your service center but your employee had showed negative attitude towards them and consumer protection officer also suggested me for taking legal action but, i feel ifb is reputed company and it will understand my problem, so i mail you
                                  Today in 12;15pm your technician had come with damaged parts and trying to solve my problem but he had failed and go back just by repairing the washing machine our machine is still not working properly. When i ask your technician for late service and fault but he is not able to reply me.
                                  I am totally surprise with your job sheet which is given to your technician in which my problem is not written. There is not specification for my machine damaged parts details, our complain detail and our machine condition detail. Your technician reply that i don’t know when i ask him for why detail is not mentioning..
                                  I am totally dissatisfied with this machine and ifb company’s service. I feel that this machine is defective manufactured unit which is given to me. Six registered and other four unregistered to your local service center total ten complaint within ten months of purchase its prove that this unit is defective manufactured unit


                                  As per my knowledge it is 110% defective manufactured unit because,

                                  1) first two complaints registered within four months of purchased proving that machine is defective manufactured.

                                  2) another three complaints registered within six months of purchased proving that machine is defective manufactured.

                                  3) another one complaint registered within 10 months of purchased proving that machine is defective manufactured.

                                  4) another four unregistered complaint at your local service center.
                                  5) not a single complaint is solved still today.

                                  Total 10 complaints happen within 10 months of purchase proving that the machine is totally defective manufactured unit. I hope ifb staff is having better technical knowledge & iq and they will accept that the machine is defective manufactured unit.
                                  On 05/09/2017 when i had visit your local service center for my six registered complaint problem at that time the service center head did showed over-smartness and threatened me of not providing any services and not replacing machine at any cost and also suggest me for taking legal action against ifb and also said that our company always hire advocates at high salary for replying legal action your legal action will not affect our company. Further such pathetic after sale service from such a reputed company was not expected today i regret my decision of buying a product from ifb. I am also aware that nothing will change even after my complaint but i hope that other people who wish to buy products from this company will be aware of the companies after sales behavior.

                                  I am also capable for taking legal actions against you but i am sophisticated businessman and i am busy with my business. I have prestige in market and going court just for washing machine issue is wasting my time. If i will not receive positive response from your side then ifb indian market prestige loss will be more costly then small loss of my machine valued 21, 000rs which i have to bear. I hope you have more general knowledge of profit and loss account then me i hope you have prestige in market & respects your customer and understanding value of customer and their time. Please show positive attitude towards my problem.
                                  So i kindly request to top authority that please replace my machine or return my money with interest as soon as possible.

                                      Hi,
                                      We had bought an ifb top loading 6.5 ltr washing machine from one of the local dealers in chembur (Nr. Diamond garden, royal electronics) in august 2016. We have lost the original bill, however have the registered mobile number using which we called the customer care and they were able to look up the required details. The machine stopped working since august first week, post which we called the customer care.
                                      We first called the customer care in august first week after which a technician visited and said that pcv needs to be replaced, as the machine is under warranty, it would be replaces for free. After 5-6 days, after me following up with customer care and the technician, he finally changed the pcv, however the machine did not work. This time he said that detector needs to be replaced. He also took a picture of the detector stating that model etc would be needed to replace. After almost 10 days, a new technician visited yesterday (6th sept) and was taking picture of the detector again rather than replacing it. Its been almost a month that the washing machine is not in working condition and the service provided by ifb is pathetic, to say the least. I need you to take action against the complaint and get the product replaced immediately.

                                        On my previous non heating issue of the aforementioned model one mr. Samrat from bapan microwave service centre attended they are worst incorrigible and irresponsible they could not solve the problem.                                         On the previous incident they had probably changed a capacitor. The problem of non heating persisted on reporting Mr. Samrat from Bapan Microwave service centre came again couldn't solve the issue kept the machine open and went away and on my repeatedly calling him he kept on dodging. My microwave at present had been reduced to a junk by this worthless service center guys.
