Have purchased IFB ELITE AQUA SX 6 kg 1200 rpm LTD washing machine before 4 yrs back.now machine shows very high Vibration and Jerk during spin.then I registered or call compliant on IFB customer care, then technician comes he just checked and asked to replace DRUM, RUBBER AND DRUM SHOCK ABSORBER. and told cost around 10000/- for these three parts.i think this is too much...

    Complaint Number [protected] was registered on 22/8/2022. It was attended by your technician on 23/8/2022. The technician was not competent and went on for hit and trial on our machine to diagnose the issue. He could not rectify the issue and had no tools or spares. He then left saying that the issue was with wiring in the machine and he will come back next day with the wire.

    The next day he started disconnecting our calls and in one call he informed that the issue will be resolved by another engineer on the same day. However, there was no call from any other engineer. We called customer care to get the number of the engineer. Customer care could not provide the engineer's details and also could not connect to senior officials when requested.

    Even today no service engineer called. When we called customer care, we were informed that the spare part has to come from Goa and may take 1-2 days. But no firm time frame was communicated.

    This is Poor After Sales Service. The Service Engineers and Customer Care try all lame excuses so as not to fulfil their obligations. Also competence level of staff is low. They misguide and do not attend to calls.

    If the issue is not resolved immediately, we will approach consumer court.

      Issue started with washing machine displaying FrHi, raised a ticket ([protected]), and the service person came promptly with in 2 hrs. Surprisingly he came up with some products in hand, never guessed his intentions. With out checking anything, he directly told that there are voltage fluctuations and asked me to buy stabilizer that he bought. He tactically forced me by saying that, it is mandatory for having a stabilizer and it will fix the issue definitely. I didn’t want to buy from him because the price is higher then online. When I said I will buy it online instead, he proceeded to close the ticket, he did not even prove anything that this is the issue.
      As to avoid shipping delays and rising a complaint again if issue not solved, I opted to buy it from him. He then tested it by placing stabilizer and the issue was same. He tested the voltage with a meter now, its all normal even in direct plug. Then he started to remove the cover and clean the inside wiring maybe he did some reset also. But nothing solved at this point. Then he said, it is all good now as he did reset, and asked me to switch it on after 1 hr. He again started the ticket closing formalities. I said that I will give review only after issue solved but he made some drama that there will be payment delays from his company. Lastly, I had to give the rating in his presence only then he left.
      After 2 hrs, issue persists, called the same person, he told he will come next day for mother board replacement but never returned. Moreover, doesn’t lift the call, I escalated the ticket by calling help desk but even that did not solve. Made multiple calls with helpdesk the only answer is “the service provider is not lifting the call and you can try from your side also ”. They gave me the local office number (Gurumurthy ranga – [protected]) but no use, they never answer. So now, call centre also not helping anymore.
      Now its 4 days, spent 5100 (stabilizer and filter, even this is leaking) without any solution. Please look into this at priority and importantly, why did I got hooked up with stabilizer, if a stabilizer is mandatory why its not mentioned while buying the product, if not mandatory then why is the service guy forcing for it and refuse to give service. Please take away your products.

        Hi,
        My IFB washing machine is under warranty and it had some issues with the front facial switches and options selection. service person told to replace the total front facial. and he is telling as it is plastic it will not cover under warranty and you have to pay 3200RS for this. is it true this front facia(panel) is not covered under warranty ? if it is a plastic item why it costs 3200RS ? Looks these service guys cheating the people....

        My ifb DX 5.5 was leaking water . I registered the compliant and the service chap came on 19 aug and after scrutiny told that the pump need replacement .
        After replacing the pump and the hose for which the bill was given repeat no tax invoice for 4480 rupee. He told not to operate for 24 hrs. Today when we operated the water was leaking as was before 19 aug. This clearly shows the pump replacement was not required as the motar was operating earlier also.

          Address: 2/57 VIVEK KHAND GOMTI NAGAR LUCKNOW -

          . We have logged the complaint earlier in Feb for the issue of Machine
          Vibration and moving while being operated. This complain was also
          registered as machine dead in your your record.
          2. Your service representative has visited and tried opening the machine
          checked and finally did nothing and stated that stand is not balanced and
          he closed the call.
          3. Another person visited after his visit and wanted another signature which
          we did not sign,
          4. Yesterday Aug 15th when I have operated the machine it started working
          and it wobbled so much that it fell on my foot giving injury and machine
          also got damaged.as of now machine is dead as it had fallen flat on surface
          and I have got my injury checked with doctor.
          5. We contacted the service help line and Technician visited and noted three parts to be replaced.
          6. After two days another set of technician came to my house stating they want to replace the parts but they opened the machine and broken the front panel and stated that we are only to check the damage and this will not be covered under AMC.
          7. IIFB help line was again contacted and and their Escalation help line stated that it will take two days and their service manager will contact me but no one contacted .

          8. Friday we received a message that service rep will attend to it on 22 aug . and when no one came we contacted the help line again nd this time escalation team has told that Area Service Manager has given the mandate that this will be chargeable basis repair.
          9. The issue has taken place due to poor workmanship of earlier complaint and secondary damage ahs been caused by second technician who came to my house.
          10 Company has no escalation matrix available on website to reach senior officials or any nodal / grievance cell.

          Seeking your help before trying the legal option of consumer forum and court.

              Dear Sir/Madam,

              Our IFB MICROWAVE (23BC3 model) had stopped working recently and we raised a ticket with IFB customer care requesting them to repair the machine. The ticket number related to this request was [[protected]]. We specifically mentioned on the call that our microwave is not in working condition and we would need someone to come and repair it. The IFB customer care representative acknowledged this and informed us that the cost for repair would be stated after seeing the condition of the machine, apart from the cost incurred for any replacements of spare parts and we have to pay service charge( Rs 354/- including GST ) as the machine is not in warranty.

              Shortly afterwards, a technician had contacted us from IFB AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRE (63C CHAKRABERIA ROAD KOLKATA[protected] mobile number [[protected]] his name was SARAUBH and asked us for the details of our location. Once the technician had arrived home, we turned on the microwave switch and showed him that its not working .

              After checking the machine, he said there's some problem in one of the part which needs to be replaced. We asked him how much it would cost to which he mentioned that it would cost Rs.1850 plus service charge . He then immediately mentioned that we can get the repair done and get the damaged part changed as he was carrying with him, so we agreed to him as we hardly know about these machines and parts.


              After changing the part, we made the payment (1850 for the part + service charge 354=2204)
              Soon after I told him to leave the part with us which he had changed, to this he replied;no we cannot leave the part with the customer as they have to submit it back to their office.

              So after a long argument, we called the Ifb customer service center, and then we told them the entire story, they said yes ma'am you can keep it with you, just mention the same on the card that the technician is going to take it back.

              Besides, I inquired about the price of the part which he had already replaced and we had paid him too, the guy at the service center said the price was between 900 and 1000 INR.

              The technician also tried to manipulate us, and the attendant of the service center, using the wrong name of the product. It was a capacitor, he kept calling it as “contulla switch”, neither did the attendant know about the part, nor did we.
              Later we became aware that it was a capacitor
              as we shared the picture of the piece through WhatsApp with him.

              I asked him if we can take "AMC plan" he said it’s not available for our microwave, as the company has discontinued this model. We did not feel comfortable with his way of talking as it felt like he was simply trying to reduce his extra part of work, so I crossed check with the fib customer care, they said its available.It's really hard to know who to trust, who not to trust in this world.

              To this, he simply asked us to pay Rs. 354 for the "visit" he made. We were quite surprised that he was literally charging us for absolutely no work from his end. We tried informing him that the customer care had mentioned the amount is to be paid for 'repair work', to which he simply again reiterated that the payment is for the visit. We felt cheated, however due to the technician threatening tone, we decided to pay him the amount of Rs. 354 via cash.

              I have attached for your reference, the picture of the part(capacitor) which he took out, as well as the receipt the technician had given us after the payment was made.

              I implore you to please look into this matter and send someone from the ifb team for inspection of my machine as i have already paid for the service charge which was falsely charged from us, at the earliest. Our opinion about IFB has always been really positive till this incident, and we look forward to carrying on with our high regard for IFB. Hoping you will rectify this one blemish at the soonest.

                  My washing machine is not working for 40 days .I have raised several tickets but the company has closed all tickets without resolving the issues. I have also mailed several times but company had not responded. Also called several times to call center but nothing happened. The company's behavior towards my complaint is not acceptable.

                    I had a washing machine free service today. Two men came named Ranjit and Raghu. The person Raghu spoke very rudely and treated me like I m some uneducated dimwitted women who cannot understand simple instructions. Where as he was not able to follow anything I say or answer any of my questions until I had to repeat them again and again. Once he understood he gave a rude response. If this is the kind of service technicians u have, then u might as well close ur company and go home as they are very successful in pushing away any potential customers. I was actually considering buying a dish washer but now I have changed my mind.

                      No credibility of service centre or the technicians. I have been following up on the complaint for last 3 days. Keep on getting different contact numbers and every time I have to explain the problem but no one is bothering to fix the problem.

                        We bought 5 IFB Inverter Split A/Cs in the month of April 2022 and have been facing issues since Day-1.
                        1. First A/C had a crack in the indoor unit at the time of installation and its swing mechanism has NOT EVER worked fine, even after IFB technicians changed the cover panel. They tried to fix the swing with Tape at the ends but nothing worked.
                        2. Second A/C had water leakage issues twice in first two months of installation and was repaired by IFB technicians, however they broke the wall twice which I had to get repaired at my own expenses.
                        3. Now, Third A/C has cooling issues. It does not cool even if operating at 16 Degrees.
                        The problem is that IFB Technicians do not seem to be trained/skilled in the job as they work in Hit & Trial method.
                        IFB Industries customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                        On calling the Customer Care, Technician did call and confirmed his visit at 6:30 pm but did not come and later messaged at 7:00 pm that he will not be able to come and asked me to remind him to come the next day. Surprising that they need to be reminded of their duty.

                        Have had bad experiences before, but this is absolutely unbelievable and unacceptable. Every month a complaint is required, and still the issue does not get resolved. made a big mistake of spending so much money and going in for 5 IFB A/Cs.

                        The product may not be that bad but the Local Technical team here is completely unprofessional and untrained.

                          No response after repeated calls. Technician visited once but did not do anything. He said someone else will come but no one came. Pathetic service.
                          I already faced this kind of service in past and it is happening again.
                          I will never buy anything from IFB

                            My 8 year old IFB Senator washing machine not working since 1 year even after repeated complaints to nearest IFB service centre. The drum is stuck. The service personnel shows no interest to check and just says spares are not available. It had been a perfectly performing machine and I want it repaired somehow.

                                  I had bought ifb washing machine senorita wxs but now burning smell after using the washing machine smoke is coming out of it and it's making alot of noice. I've complained alot about it but still the problem isn't been solved... The service is not responsible and not giving a proper date for repairing it... Its been more than 45 days but still nothing has been done.
                                  So many ticket numbers were closed without any resolution.
                                  On 01/07/2022 one technician had came to check the washing machine and told he is going to change the rubber sleeve. But on 23/7/2022 another technician came with the rubber sleeve and told it's still not going to work and we have to change both the rubber sleeve and the tub... But today it's 14 august 2022 and it's still not repaired and nobody came to repair it.

                                    Dear Team,

                                    We are using IFB washing machine since 4 and half years. There is a trouble in washing machine board. When power is on, there is no indication in washing machine board.

                                    We have raised a complaint on this issue around 2 weeks back, technician has checked it and told that it is not working because rain water has entered in board, .

                                    Washing machine is covered with IFB cover which was sold by IFB agent recently. Then we are not sure how rain water enters inside board.
                                    As it is covered with polythene cover, board has insulation coating how can rain water enter the board.
                                    As water keeps rotating inside washing machine, there can be some moisture on board. Washing machine design water should not enter into the board. Buttons are also not in good condition, which are part of warranty.
                                    As per AMC, under warranty all washing machine parts including rubber and plastic are covered

                                    We have raised complaint twice on call with IFB customer care. Technician is repeating the same thing to buy the washing machine board worth 4.5 K rupees

                                    Please replace the board as washing machine is under warranty.
                                    It seems washing machine board buttons are delicate. We request you to provide good service to continue using the IFB washing machine.

                                      We have purchased IFB washing machine 2years ago and from the day one we are facing issues like heavy vibration and noise also after wash liquid is not taken properly.

                                      Regarding vibration issue service person recommended to get the stand so that vibration will not be there but after purchasing stand also vibration was there. Then the service person recommended to remove the stand and put anti vibrant mat to arrest vibration but still it was there.

                                      During next service complaint, the service person mentioned that your suspension is weak on one side and if noise is more book service complaint like that.

                                      Still noise was there and we raised complaint but the technician mentioned that need to change the suspension and it's out of stock and agreed that he will change within 2days and then they closed that call.

                                      After 2 months again we raised complaint and now they are saying bearings are damaged. We didn't use washing machine not more than 20 washes.

                                      No response from IFB side and we are looking for replacement of new machine.
                                      Need your support and proper response.

                                      we are still facing the problem with our washing machine. We almost spend more than half of the price of the product but one or the other issue pop up frequently. We are fed-up with the machine and the service technicians. So, we don't want to spend anymore for fixing the machine, we request you to take back the machine. We will buy some other good brand washing machine.
