Hi,

I've lodged a complaint on 2nd sept, 2017 with ticket no. [protected] mentioning that my ifb washing machine is not functioning. I got a message on 4th sept, 2017 that technician will come and resolve this issue. He came and opened my machine and worked on it for 3-4 hours and couldn't resolve the issue. The power led which was glowing then has now stopped working and he told us that the switch is short and he doesn't have a replacement so he will come on 6th sept, 2017.

I called up customer care on 4th sept, 2017 itself and had asked the customer care agent to send some efficient technician on urgent basis on 5th sept, 2017 since the technicians you send are inefficient in trouble shooting the issue are resolving it.

However, whenever i call up customer care they just say that we are updating the records but nothing fruitful happens. I happened to speak up with ramesh and rohit 3 times however no body has turned up to solve my issue.

I even spoke today to rohit who gave me these numbers but nobody picked up my call.

We purchased IFB TLSDR 6.5 KG washing machine from electronic world, kunjpura road, karnal & registered for demo & installation vide request no.[protected] on 29/08/2017.No service engineer has visited us today.pl look in to the matter urgently.

    Concern : i would be glad to know your compliant handling system.

    I got surprised that when i got a call from mother today that the oven is not yet repaired for the compliant you had raised on your home coming on 22 july. So now i am curious to know how a compliant is closed by itself and kept open for grand 45 days. What is so special about ifb? Please let me know.

      Hi team,

      I am using ifb washing machine from past couple of years and i am having some problem from past 4 months. I have been regularly calling the customer care and every time i get the same answer that our engineer will be visiting you soon and it never happens. I logged a complaint in the month of may and its been almost 4 months now that my washing machine is still not fixed.

      Kindly let me know if this is the kind of afer service we get from the reputed company like ifb. Fyi my complaint # [protected]. Hope to hear back fro m you soon.

        My ifb permanent id is ifb16837831. My complaint lodged on 2.9.2017 at 12.25 hrs vide my complaint no.[protected] regarding door locking error of my front load w/m. I repeatedly requested on 3rd & 4th sept'2017 to send the ifb representative as early as possible because all wet clothes are locked inside & door is not opening but all invane nobody has arrived even after 53 hrs. Never expected this internationally reputed co. Like ifb. Pl act immediately. Regards,

        Washing machine some current is leaking. Complaint registered on 26 th Aug
        Aain reminded on 29th but nothing. This is a very sad situation & on the top of it nobody is bothered to enquire.

          Hi,

          Ticket# [protected]

          I had complained to customer care for the glass broken due to pressure inside the washing machine and no fault o[censored]s. The service technician charged rs 2820/- just for the door glass. Can someone tell me from ifb why the spares are so costly and what is the use of 100% warranty if you say glass is not covered under warranty? This clearly looks as manufacturing defect. I would need complete refund.

              Hi,

              Kbs service center (Raghavendra/manjunath) has recommended motherboard pcb replacement for resolving the issue with the washer/dryer (Complaint#[protected]). However, they have advised to get this product replaced with a new washing machine as the part is not available in india. It has to be ordered from parent company outside india which would take a month.

              This product is still under warranty. The machine was purchased in august 2014. For rs. 65000. It is really disappointing to see that a german technology machine has already started malfunctioning twice in 3 years. Pcb motherboard was diagnosed to be faulty even in 2014. We were without a washing machine for almost 3 weeks back then. This is the second time we are getting into this situation.

              I fail to understand why you would sell a product to customer when you cannot honour the warranty? I have a big family which is heavily dependent on this machine. We are facing lot of inconvenience. Please help to get the replacement part by upcoming monday or give me a standby machine till the replacement part arrives?

              I have not received any resolution from IFB on the above issue yet. IFB sales person had called today but said that he can't offer that discount of 50% I was requesting for. He said that he will speak to Nancy from IFB as branch can provide the discount. I am still without a washing machine. I had asked for a standby machine to be provided till the time replacement part is not provided. This machine is still under warranty. Can you please help?

                  The door interlock had a problem, so i called complaint to ifb washing machine customer service. Two days latter technician name called iyappan showed up from neyveli, tamilnadu. He said digital board burned, door lock also bad. But i requested change the door interlock only. He refused to do that service, he wants rs 4500 for service. I noticed he just wants money poor #. I am not willing to pay 4500 for nothing. I just bought used lock for rs 250 and changed my self. It is working fine. When ever he comes home, he lies lot and makes money. I will not buy any more ifb product.

                      With ref. To above subject i purchase ifb w/m tl 7 kg tl-sdg aqua s silver 53/63 from croma mumbai 15/08/2017 with request to deliver on 17/08/17 and for installation and demo on 18/08/17. I recd delivary on 17/08/17. After number of calls to customer care ifb and customer care chroma and personally visited to croma store at goregaon for demo and installation, they forgot to take initiative for demo and installation. On 19/08/17 by evening at 06.50 pm without prior intimation, technician visited for demo and installaton and finished with in 10 minits. We found difficulty to operate the machine and installation also incomplete. At 7.15 pm, i inform to ifb customer for the same. They informed that they will arrange expert technician to for redemo and installation.
                      /
                      On monday 21 remind ifb customer care for the same. They give ticket no. [protected], but they have fail to registered my complaine. On 19.08.2017. Thereafter number of called to croma store, & customer care and ifb customer support, so far no response received by me from them.

                      Under such circumstances, i am not interested in your product, so you please take back the same and credit my payment to my account.

                        मैंने एक वाशिंग मशीन October 2016 को ख़रीदा था जिसमें IFB की तरफ से साल में 4 service फ्री करने की सिफारिश थी लेकिन 10 माह निकलने के बाद भी IFB की तरफ से अब तक एक भी बार service man वाशिंग मशीन को देखने नहीं पंहुचा ! जबकि मशीन के साथ 4 सर्विस कार्ड भी साथ आये हुए है! कृपया आपसे निवेदन है की मशीन का एक साल का सर्विस समय खत्म हो मशीन की सर्विस करवाने का कष्ट करें !

                          I am vipin verma purchsed a ifb washer on 30.07.2017 at shikohabad u. P. But becasuse of my transfer to bareilly u. P. Demo and installation not done in shikohabad.
                          I want demo and installation at my new address. I request at customer care they said on 29/08/2017 installation will be done but no person came. As one month is going to expire and installation not done then i will mat pay charges.

Service engineer has come and informed us that the mother board has a error and he took it away.. Till time i post this message it is not repaired. Whenever i call there is no response. The manager there is always busy on some clients.

                            When i went to the showroom for request, he too was irresponsible.. Please any one suggest me what to do..

                              I have been using ifb aqua senorita washing machine since may 2012. I have got a problem for the first time on 21st aug 2017. I have registered a complaint ([protected]) on 22nd aug morning. I was very happy that the technician arrived my home in the afternoon. He checked and told me that the problem is with the pcb board. He also said that will arrive by 23rd aug morning if i could get the board from ifb store. He didn't turn up and i called him back on 24th aug. He mentioned that we got the board and another technician will visit the house today. I kept calling him and he was keep on telling me that will come in another 1 hour and this continued till evening 7pm and at last he told we can't come today and also tomorrow being ganesh chathurthi, we can come only on 26th aug. I kept calling them for every hour and finally technician arrived my house at 6:30pm. This time the technician replaced pcb board and still the problem persists. He then fixed back my old pcb board and told me that the problem is not with pcb board, the actual problem is with the motor and it is out of office hours and can't get it today, but for sure i'll consult the store on monday 28th aug morning and will visit the house and fix the issue. Since morning i called him and got a response from him that the store is not ready to give the motor to him and told him to attend some other complaints as a priority. He mentioned me to contact so called manager shabareesh ([protected]). Meanwhile i also called customer care multiple times and at last got shabareesh and nirmala contact numbers. Nirmala didn't pick my calls, shabareesh doesn't even have patience to listen to my issue and responded that he'll get back in 5 minutes, but smartly he didn't turn up. He is not even picking my calls.
                              I have no other option rather than calling customer care again and rewind my issue to them, this time they connected me to mr. Ali khan as a escalation contact and he assured me that will call back in an hour, but to my unfortune he didn't turn up as well. We can understand from this experience that how irresponsible, unskilled technicians and management ifb is equipped with. I am approaching consumer complaints here for the issue resolution.

                              Problem is fixed and details are below. Technician visited my house on 29th Aug 2017 at 1:30 PM and tried fixing the problem with existing machinery for few hours, no new spare parts have been brought. He tried for few hours and went out. Came back with another technician and fixed the problem in a minute. No new spare parts have been used. The actual issue is neither with PCB board nor with the motor which the technicians were claiming, the issue is with the earthing of plug point. If the first or second technician who visited my house have this knowledge, the problem would have resolved on the same day when i submitted this issue with IFB. Just because of unskilled technicians and ignorant management in IFB has wasted my time and dragged the issue for more than a week.

                              I didn't hear back anything from them yet. So, i called customer care back. Escalation supervisor Mr. Ali Khan helped me conferencing the Bangalore service center manager Mr. Shabareesh (Who doesn't attend customer calls directly) and agreed to send technician only by tomorrow. So, will wait for them till tomorrow.

                                Have registered complaint for non-working of my microwave oven. The technician informed that the pcb part is faulty and needs replacement, costing rs.1950/- in addition to rs.300/- visiting charges. I really wonder that instead of exploring the possibility of repair, he straight away suggested replacement. The cost also seems escalated. Kindly look into the matter.                                   Complained for fault on 14th august, no clear reply frim ifb. Toll free no person only gives assurances, but not resolving the problem mumbai ifb centre people most arrogant and incapable to repair, the took 8 days to detect the problem and since then always saying will come and repair but never turn up. Whenever we call them they never pick up the call. I have been customer of ifb since 1999 but most horrible phase of experience i am facing right now.

                                    Complaint no.[protected] on 08.8.2017 for getting repair of my top load washing machine which was in amc from 11.03.2017. But unfortunately till to date i could not get it repaired further i went to the service centre personally and there i found that my amc details were not uploaded and i had messaged in whatsup the amc document. Service centre promissed that they would sent the techn., and after thorough pursue with the service centre two persons came to my home and declared that one part has to be replaced and my complaint was cancelled without assigning any reasons and again i made a complaint in online with sl no.[protected] on 23.8.2017. After that i went to the service centre again they told that their techn. Would come and attend the complaint. But till to date ie.27.8.2017 nobody came to my home for repair.
                                    It is very negligent attitude of the service centre and i would llike proceed the consumer forum for redressal of my complaint.

                                      This is anil kumar. My washing machine has not been working properly since may 2016. My costumer id is 3232250. My complaint was registered on 23/05/2016 and complaint no. Was 17860672. The complain was done many times until they finally took the initiative to take some action and took the machine with them in the month of october 2016 after a pair of 20 calls only to return it the way it was after 10 months of continuous remainders and complaints and ignored calls. The machine was still not in working condition in month of july 2017 when it was sent back after numerous complaints to the branch coordinator patna, it still refused to start. The servicing of machine was under amc. This has been very annoying and painful that even now august 2017 they ignore their call of duty to our irritation and annoying. This is more then testing our patience. Both the physical and mental peace spent on this machine seems brutal. They hardly pick the call now and if they do they would promise to fix it "tomorrow" which for them never comes. This is a humble request to concern authority to look into the matter and take necessary steps...

                                        The washing machine motor is in good condition my machine is not spinning the ifb service person came and just put one meter below and told it's motor is gone. I asked how can you say that... Can you explain me. He told you call any technician they will tell you same. He told apply amc for 2 years and will replace all parts in next 45 days. Otherwise pay 7k and will replace now. I was surprised without any checks or any repair he just told like that, i was not having any option only pay him 590 for visit as i cannot pay any more for such pathetic service. I know there could be chances of changing motor carbon and with that my motor would have worked, but these ifb service persons don't want to do that. I am really unhappy.. And planning to put a case on consumer forum.

                                        My Issue has not been resolved.

                                        After raising complain on this website, one more executive visited from IFB and he again told the same thing that Motor has gone, please apply amc for 2 years and will replace all parts in next 45 days. Otherwise pay 7k and will replace now. I was surprised and thought since both is saying same thing i should go for AMC. I have give the cheque to that guy and in same day i called one local servicing guy, who checked the motor and told me no issue on Motor sir.

                                        He told motor is fine, then he checked the Board and he found issue on board which he corrected on very less amount and now my motor is working fine.

                                        First of all when IFB people don't know any thing to rectify why the hell they are called as technician. Why you people are cheating. You are only interested on AMC please...
                                        please work for people too don't just go behind money and stop cheating.

                                        I am not going to tolerate this behavior, very first, i have paid 590 on first visits and your technician did nothing, i need the refund of the same, no one pay money for doing some crap job.
                                        2nd as i face lot of trouble i need the compensation of the same from IFB this should be in any ways, either give me next 2 years AMC free...or whatever way, i won't leave like that i will lodge a fraud case against this if you IFB people have not taken the appropriate action ASAP.

                                        Guys whoever is reading this please be aware that the IFB people hardly bother to look into the issue, they just want you to take AMC.
