I am ifb dishwasher customer. Dishwasher is a machine that is not relevant to indian market, but still i made a mistake of buying it and that too from company like ifb. Ifb products are good only till they don't ask for servicing, once your product calls for service, ifb people will put you in loop.

When a service person came to repair my dishwasher, he said that pcb is having problem. I paid him rs.5100 for pcb replacement and was happy to have my dishwasher running. The service person at that time didn't utter a word regarding the amc or other complications waiting to be treated. Within a week of pcb replacement, the machine stopped again with f9 error. I had no choice but to register a complaint again.

Now, a person called amol comes to my house and without even checking the dishwasher, he says that divisor valve is to be changed and you will be charged rs.5800. When i complained to mr. Kishore from vishwakarma agency about amol that he didn't even try to repair the machine then he came personally and concluded that i will have to pay for the part and amc to avoid future problems. The charge for part he said was rs.5800 and amc rs.4000. This means within a week's time, they want me to pay rs.15000 to keep my machine running for one year (Amc is maintenance contract for one year). My problem is that why didn't the person talk about amc at the time of pcb replacement? If each part costs rs.6000 then is this machine a use and throw option as after few years o[censored]sing the machine, you will have to spend a sum equivalent to the machine price.

I am trying to reach some harshali ma'am on phone as advised by their customer care executives, but even she is not picking the phone and i think this forum will help me solve this issue.

Whether you are ifb washing machine, microwave, or dishwasher customer, understand one thing that the products are use and throw, as you won't be able to afford repairs for sure.

    On 06 feb 2014 i purchased one ifb front load washing machine senorita aqua sx through ifb dealer in delhi cantt area.

    But within a month the machine started behaving abnormal. On repeated complaint the technician visited and said that the motor is faulty and same he replaced twice. But that also could resolve the problem. Finally we had to approach to area manager and the complete machine was replaced. This process took more than one month. It was a long suffer with the new machine.

    Again within a year the machine started behaving abnormally and this time the technician said that the main circuit board i. E. Motherboard of the machine is unserviceable and needs to be replaced. This time also it took more than 10 days to resolve the problem completely. This time also we had to contact service coordinator. It's very painful for struggling so much for each snags.

    Recently, on 02 jul 17 again i had a problem of "door not locking" with and registered a complaint vide number [protected]. Technician visits after 02 days and said that the door lock is unserviceable and needs replacement. It took one week for same. Even after the replacement of door lock mechanism the machine still not working. Then again he said that motherboard needs replacement (It was already replaced once). Everyday on calling to technician he says either parts are not available due to gst or if parts available then he says that today only he will come and rectify the problem. Time passing away and its half month finish no one attending to my problem.

    I am suffering a lot because of worst customer service of ifb (One of the leading washing machine manufracture). On this regard i need your help and guidance for initiating suitable action against ifb.

      Dear sir/madam,

      Iam writing this mail with deep regret, that i have made a mistake in purchasing ifb top loading fully automatic washing machine. The machine was purchased on[protected], but till date installation of the washing machine is not done, dealer has not registered on ifb for demo till[protected]. After my call to dealer registered for demo on[protected]Ticket no. [protected]) and iam following it up with your customer care since then, and everyday i call they promise today our person will visit for demo which is the case till[protected], if this is the case for demo then i have to imagine for any service on the machine will take months/years for your service person to visit and rectify the problem. Also your dealers service is pathetic and insane. I request all the people reading this not purchase any of ifb products because they are unfit to be in the market.

      Another surprise from IFB that for installation Rs. 20 is charged which is no where mentioned by either dealer/IFB customer care when several calls made to their customer care and now a guy calling from IFB asking to Pay Rs.20 online for processing installation. This is absolute non-sense after 20days they do not have courtesy to mention when calls are made which is ridiculous, if this is the case for demo and i should imagine what will be fate after any after service requests.

      My ifb washing machine is not working from last 20 days. i made complaint on 21 jun via IFB customer care. Complain is in open state till today.

        Hi all,
        I raised a complaint on july 1st 2017 regarding an issue in my washing machine. After a long struggle one of their technician came for service and fixed the issue. After couple of days again i started facing the same issue in my washing machine and i contacted ifb customer care and they promised me that issue will be resolved in 48 hours. Its been more than a week and no one has contacted me regarding this issue after calling the customer care for twice a day. They don't care about customers. Everyone works lethargically. The technicians never attend the call and even if they do, they don't turn up.
        Ifb customer service sucks. Please don't buy ifb products and end up in trouble. They don't even have an escalation matrix and their operating procedure sucks. They don't call the technicians from their side. They will ask to call the technician and these # don't respond. Customer care people don't keep up their promises as they say that a call with their higher authority will be arranged asap, but it never happened or they will connect the call to their higher authorities where no one respond. I am fed up with their service. Just wanted to throw away my washing machine and get a new one instead spending time to resolve this issue.

          I contacted the service manager Mr Shailendra, phone no is [protected] more than 10 times, sent him few messages stating my address and ticket no as per his advice but apart from his bad behaviour no positive response i have received so far.

            I, anubhab ghosh, lodged a complaint on 10.07.2017 vide complaint no. [protected] for malfunctioning of my ifb washing machine (Tl sdg 7.0 kg). On 11.07.2017, one representative visited our home and after examining the machine, he informed that the display panel has to be changed. As the product is within the warranty period, he informed that he would change the display panel on the very next day i. E. On 12.07.2017. However, the same has not been replaced till date. I have contacted the said representative a no. Of times since then and in all the times he has informed that the same panel is not in the stock with them. I have also called the toll free no.[protected] and every time after listening the issue, they have told that their system is not running and they would not be able to do anything for this issue at that time.
            Please look into the matter and do the needful at your end.

              This e-mail i sent to the ifb company but no-response still.
              Respected sir,
              Warm greeting to you.
              My case is very pathetic sir.
              I am using ifb model : senorita : seno-dx with machine sl. No:001586 purchased during 2012.

              After warrenty was over i always enter service maintenance contract with you every year till date.

              My recent maintenance contract was 2 years from 09.09.2015 to 08.09.2017. For that i have paid

              Rs.4361/= on 09.09.2015 for amc to varshini enterprises, no.1, skc road, 3 rd marappa street,

              Surampatti nall road, erode – 638009. Vide : your receipt no.[protected]dtd:09.09.2015.

              On 08.01.2016 my ifb washing machine was under repair and mechanic mr. Sasikumar, ifb service mechanic

              Whose cell no. [protected] visited my place and taken the front panel switch board and told me that it has to be repaired at the service centre.

              And i asked the receipt but he informed that it will be given next day. Since my area is 12 kms away from city erode i said ok.

              Because i always believe ifb brand and i am using it for 4 years i believed the words of mechanic.

              After that my several follow ups nobody responded. The mechanic phone was switched off.

              The i visited the ifb service centre and met mr. Rajasekar, in charge of that centre and he informed me that it has to be replaced and

              I am expecting this from tirupur office centre and gave the phone number: [protected]. Then still i am waiting for the front panel board.

              Sir, i would like to tell about myself : just few lines :

              I am working as senior branch manager in lic of india, erode south branch.
              Since i am working in marketing side, i am very difficult to find time to follow up this matter.

              Already six months gone.

              Then i lost hopes and contacted mr. Rajasekar i/c no.[protected]. I was shocked that i got ivrs voice as “ this number does not exist “.

              Then i went to the service centre, i learnt that it was shifted.

              Then from the local postman i got the address of new service centre. After very difficulty i located the place which is situated in teachers colony, erode.

              Then i met mr. Rajesh whose no.[protected]. He told me that the franchisee has been changed and asked me about details of amc contract and

              Also asked me to send the details to present in charge mr. Arunkumar whose no : [protected]. I also sent the full details to both of them.

              But no response from them. Then i called mr. Arunkumar

              He replied rudely that it is not possible. He asked me front panel switchboard. I told that your people only taken away the same and

              I requested him to verify at your end. Suddenly he told me we will not do anything and immediately he cut the phone. Because of that

              I had mental agony and mental illness and further i contacted mr. Rajesh and he also said the same reply. Then i don’t know what to do further.

              That’s way i represent this matter to you sir.

              I am expecting 2 things from you sir.

              1. Ifb front panel switch board to be replaced at the earliest.

              2. Since your people have taken the front panel on 08.01.2016 and the machine was idle for

              17 months, kindly extend the service contract for 17 months.

              I attach herewith photos of my ifb washing machine present position and

              Amc contract details for your perusal.

                I have entered an amc with ifb inustries ltd., for my senorita dx washing machine s. No.[protected] immediately after the warranty period and the current amc renewed by me on 3.5.2016 vide the receipt no. [protected] for 2 years. I have registered a complaint through toll free nos as below for leakage of water while running the machine, malfunctioning of set-up and sound:

                They have not come for service so far and closed the ticket without verifying the status of the machine. I request you to attend the call immediately since i am using your machine with all the above complaints.

                  My ifb front door 6 kgs washing machine was not working, it did not take water from inlet we bought filter and fix but it is not working, every time you guys took a long time to resolve but now, please do as soon as possible to resolve the issue because my mother is health is not good, she could not wash clothes her own, this is the problem arise twice in past so make sure to fix it permanently.

                    I recently called the ifb washing machine service center regarding the problem in the machine. The service person come to attend the call with in 24 hours. But instead of solving the problem he sold ifb products around rs 3500. He washed the machine with his cleaning powder and informed that the problem is solved. Today we put the cloth for washing again the same problem is coming in the display (Utcr). So my concern is ifb customer service doing technical service or product selling. So if any one know how to deal with this people kindly inform. I have took a service warranty of three years for this machine.

                      Ridiculous about this company, till date i was speaking very high about their products, but today i must say they are #, authorized service center asking for high service charges rs.500+ which is available for rs.300 or less outside and also if you want to purchase the spare part only you have to pay the service charges taken or not. Why should i as a consumer is prohibited from my rights to buy or deny any product or service.

                        Dear concern,

                        With ref to the complaint no. [protected] vide cust i. D no:11656525
                        Take note of the following points and provide a explanation for the massive delay in attending and providing a solution for the same:-

                        1) complaint no [protected] was registered on 05/07/2017 for the location ambala cantt-133001 (Haryana).

                        2) the ifb 5 kgs elite is covered under amc.

                        3) the 1st visit by the technician was on saturday late afternoon i. E 08/07/17 that too after repeated calls to ifb customer care.

                        4) the local ifb service centre staff had wrongly given the feedback that the house is locked whereas the house had never been locked and nobody from local ifb service centre called to confirm that they are attending the complaint.

                        5) the technician visited and checked the washing machine for sometime and after that he communicated that some wires are broken and the complete module need to be replaced and that he will come on monday (10/07/17) to replace the part and close the complaint. After this very short visit he went away in hurry.

                        6) no technician came on monday (10/07/17) and the calls to the local ifb service center contact no[protected] went un-answered for the whole day and even the calls to another contact no. [protected] also didn't go through due to one reason or the reason the mobile being switched off most of the time.

                        7) my wife called on monday to the ifb customer care for the latest update on the complaint no, but the only reply she got was the complaint will be attended by evening by the technician, whereas till the end of the day no technician came to attend the complaint.

                        8) again on tuesday my wife called the ifb customer care but to no avail and the only replies she got was on high priority the matter is being taken up.

                        9) on wednesday (12/07/17) i personally called the ifb customer care for the latest update on the complaint no.[protected] and after long discussion the only reply was the complaint is being taken forward on high priority and that the technician will visit by evening and attend the complaint.

                        10) i again called in the afternoon to enquire about the exact status but again no clear reply and then i asked for the national service head contact and/or e-mail but the contact no [protected], [protected] went unanswered for the whole day.

                        11) after repeated reminders to escalate the call to higher authority some mr. Ali came on the line and asked for time till 1700 hrs and said he will ring back to confirm the exact status of the complaint.

                        12) nobody called till 1930 hrs and then again i called the ifb customer care to check the latest update about the complaint and the customer service person shocking reply was that the local ifb service center had confirmed that customer had asked to ring and attend the complaint later on sometime, this was a highly shocking discovery as noone from local ifb service center either called or came to attend the complaint after saturday (08/07/17).

                        13) i straightaway told that i have already spoken with the supervisor and that i need exact timeline for the complaint solution and no vague replies.
                        It was during the discussion that it was confirmed that machine being old the specified spare part was not available, this was a shocking discovery that too after 6 days of complaint after repeated calls it was communicated and why the same message was not confirmed earlier noone from ifb team had bothered to reply.

                        14) the call with mr. Ashok was also not very clear and he had asked for time till 12 to 1300 hrs for 13/7/17 to get the exact status from the ifb service team and get back to me for the exact findings.

                        15) to me this is a perfect example of horrifying and harrowing experience that any customer can have from any branded company leave aside a internationally acclaimed brand ifb.

                        16) this is highly shameful on part of ifb team and a perfect example of total failure on ifb side to address the customer complaint wherein the amc is in place and the customer had already paid for the same and still he and family is made to run from post to pillar for no reason.

                        17) it is more shameful on part of ifb wherein no escalation matrix is available online or is in place wherein the customer can raise his/her grievance through properly defined channel for a proper defined solution to his/her complaint.

                        18) even this e-mail i. D had been sought from ifb customer care team after repeated calls and information extracting techniques, i wonder a simple
                        Customer who doesn't know whom to call and how to tackle the customer care responses will never get a reply from your ifb customer care team.

                        19) i need a time bound solution towards my timely registered complaint no [protected] (Customer i. D 11656525 — ms. Sanyogita saini) on highest priority without any failure and delay in the same will be deemed to be un-interested from ifb team to address my complaint and a fit case to approach regional customer grievance cell and other legal measures for the same.

                            Our washing machine once suddenly stopped (One month back) as the internal board got short off due to electricity fluctuation and the clothes got stuck in the drum as the door got locked. On the same day we made a call to customer care and registered a ticket for the same. We received the service after 2 - 3 days from the ifb technician who in turn broked the front door and did not turn up till date.

                            We are from then continuously calling the customer care to service our machine with new front door and pci board. But the authorised person to whom i had a conversation said the product is outdated and forced us to go for new washing machine.

                            As per the service given to me by the IFB company technician named Mr Felix 3-4 days back, who checked the washing machine and found out that the PCB board is damaged and also the front door need to be replaced as the same was broken by the earlier technician of the IFB company.He also said that i need to bear a total cost of serviceable part amounting to Rs 8000/- (including the cost of front door).

                            When i informed him that the i will not bear the cost of the front door which was broken by the earlier company technician, he replied that it is one of the company's professional practice to broke the door of the machine without which they cannot check the exact problem in the machine and i have to bear the entire cost.

                            Just to remind the company, 2 months back when i called the customer care and asked for service no one responded and ready to issue a ticket, giving a reason that the system is down so the ticket number will be messaged which was not delivered.Even in the last week of this month (JULY 2017) when i contacted the customer care the same reply was given and no message is yet delivered.

                            In the past 2 month, when i asked for service, a company technician who was sent to us 2-3 days later who just broked the front door and didn't turn up again for the service.Meantime i asked one of my friend who was knowing one of the ex technician of the IFB Company who dismantle the machine without even touching the front door and told the exact problem in the machine in a very professional manner but was unable to give service as he has no serviceable part.

                            Though i am a paid service customer (warranty on the machine has lapsed), but i was made to wait for nearly 2 months, who was recently offered to go for exchange of the machine inspite of having a serviceable part after lodging a complaint in indian consumer complaint forum. And now they are asking me to bear a cost of serviceable part amounting to Rs 8000/- including the cost of front door?

                            Kindly look into the matter and charge me a reasonable cost on the serviceable part.

                              I purchased a new set of ifb tl/ssdr 7.5 kg aqua top loading washing machine (Sr. No.[protected] from m/s great eastern trading co., branch: 319/11, jessore road, nagerbazar, kolkata[protected]Invoice no.-20/sa/1718/06455 dated: 26/06/2017) and delivered subsequently. But during installation and demonstration by ifb authorized service technician, it has been found that there are many signs of rust-stains around the washing drum and while rotating the same, huge grains of rusted particles were dropping down from the peripheral wall of the rotating drum; drops of water were found spread around, bearing was found jammed — — it is confirmed sign that this machine was been used before (2nd hand), old, defective — –no value for money and waste of valuable time too. And it is utmost surprising that an item manufactured by reputed brand and supplied by one of the reputed dealers (M/s great eastern trading co.) has been found in this extremely pathetic and unacceptable condition and it is a case of complete cheating to potential customer which needs an immediate intervention — –otherwise i bound to complain consumer forum for legal action and float this in electronic and printed media.
                              Even the machine delivered to my residence only by a single person sent from the dealer while it was diagrammatically instructed on the carton that it must be handled by two persons, the cartons were tied only with three straps…. Not sealed (Inquired with dealer — replied — it is the usual practice to deliver in this condition) and while opening, the protecting thermocols around the machine were found dirty. So, this is also to note that is a case of complete negligence offered to the customer by the dealer. However, this has been re-packed by ifb authorized service personnel came for installation and demonstration. So, i request ifb team to do the needful immediately and replace it with a genuinely new set of the same washing machine in good working condition.

                                  Sir I RAMESH KISANRAO POTE had complaint for noise of IFB washing ELENA DX, 5.5 KG which was purchased before six year on dated 18.07.2017 vide ticket no. [protected], after 2 days continious persuation one technician came to house and suggested for replacement of bearing and commited it will repairs within two day and approximate estimate of Rs. 1500. But latter on there is conyinious no reply from technician and whenever call will recieved he promise I will come tommorrow . After this I again complaint launched complaint on toll free on dated 04/08/2017 vide ticket no [protected] and again called to customer center but nothing happened. This is the fact of Customer Care of Amravati IFB Centre (Bogus) Centre.I contacted no [protected], [protected]. Now there is no response from care.
                                  Sir I am facing lots of problem due to non working of washing machine, Being a faith on IFB I purchased this model but customer care is very bad responded. so pl. do the needful for action urgently.

I have slip disc issue and if i dont get any anwer or resolution latest by tommorow i will take you to consumer court with my medical documents and your bill and all the false details provided till date

                                        My ifb microwave oven gone faulty on 24.06.2017 & on that date i had lodged a service request at lokamata service center at bhubaneswar. As no one attended fault for rectification, i had lodged complaint on your all india customer care help line number.in the mean time i had contacted bhubaneswar service center several times, but till today i, e, 11.07.2017, my oven did not get repaired.
