HI,

While registering a complaint in IFB, IFB employeed technicians are not coming. Some 3rd party persons coming and saying that they are AMC partners for IFB. Eventhough if we registering complaints to them, they are not responding immediately and also they are not straight forward and just changing whatever they want in the Machine.

For instance, they changed a input electronic panel, what initially put into some other display panel, which is also not worked properly. After then they put the same panel. But they asking for AMC registration on every time.

Even now also some complaint is there we are not interested in raising complaint.

    Poor sevice.please dont send the people who have 0 knowledge about a machine.he completly spoild our machine.
    Why u have a service center if you dont have a spare parts. Completely irritating the customers.
    They are taking more than 1 month to make it done.

    What is the solution for this ?? Please dont irritate us. Then you have to face the consequences.

      Hello,
      This is Dr. Pardeep Sethi from Fazilka, Punjab.
      I had purchased a microwave oven IFB BRC2 series about 40 days back .l called IFB costumer care executive for demo and after 2 days a service technician Mr. Gurmeet came, installed it and gave us the demo. At that time, it automatically cut off in between the heating process, your technician fixed it as he said and told us that it is ready to use now. But after a few days same problem repeated and i registered a complaint for it(Ticket no. [protected]), IFB service technician came and checked it and told me that this fault cannot be removed here and he will report it for replacement. I even told the Dealer and he told me that he also will talk to IFB executives and get it replaced. But, even after a month since then, I haven't got a replacement for that. I have talked to IFB costumer care executives many times since then but, all I always get is a commitment for replacement of my microwave and no follow up after that. I am highly disappointed with the service, product, service technician and even with the dealer M/s Laxmi Electrical Co., Fazilka for recommending me IFB product.
      I hope this message will help me to solve the purpose and I won't be left disappointed.

        I have an IFB air conditioner. Recently (Oct'2016) i had a complaint in my ac and the Service Technician who came from Karapakkam Chennai franchisee advised that the copper coil is damaged and it will be changed at a free of cost if we apply for an AMC policy at a cost of INR 4000. So we went for that option and applied AMC. But later, these guys never turned up to replace the damaged part. I'm raising ticket with IFB customer care and speaking with all levels of officials in that franchisee till now (almost 8 months over), they didn't replace the part. Instead they keep on saying some vague reasons and delay time. Even they use to say that the part has been ordered and approved at all levels, it will be delivered from Goa and in 15 days they will replace it. But after 15 days, if you call and check with the franchisee, they start from beginning that they have to see my a/c to confirm the part model, hence this proves that they didn't order anything, just cheating the customers.

        The below Franchisee person are the ones whom i contacted and found that they are not loyal in their words. So refrain from the below persons and the KARAPAKKAM (Chennai) franchisee. Also refrain from putting any AMC policy with IFB as it is of no use other than waste of money and time in following up with these guys.

            I was transferred from Aligarh (UP) to Ajmer (Raj.), I Had got my Washing machine un-installed at Aligarh on 15.06.2017 from R S Enterprises, authorised service Centre of IFB, and paid Rs.575/ for it vide Bill No.81. I was informed that this includes the installation charges at Ajmer also as per the Company's guidelines. But here the IFB Engineer Mr Dharmender ( Mob.No.[protected]) is refusing to install the same and asking us to book a fresh call through Toll Free No. and the same will be charged by the company.

            Please arrange to get the washing machine installed.

                IFB is having worst service in Nellore dt and it is really not worth buying their products if you are in nellore dt, I wouldn't talk about other areas, because I do not know about their services in other locations. But as a customer and with the experiences I had (still having), I can assure you its not worth buying anything from IFB if you expect any kind of service forany technical issues with their products after you buy it. We bought two washing machines and a microwave from them and we are having issues with one of the washing machines.
                We gave a complaint 1st June (complaint number - [protected]), after which a guy called Nandu with phone number 910*****33 showed up and turned on the washing machine, to our surprise the washing machine started to work, so He said it could be some lose connection with wires and charged us around 570 rupees, even though he did not inspect anything. As it started to work, he did not even bother to wait or check again and he left, fifteen minutes after He left, the washing machine started to give trouble again. My dad called that guy (Nandu) and He was like it may be timer issue and said they will fix it later, after that He did not call or try to check whats wrong with the washing machine, my dad called him again to check the status and that guy was not at all professional and I seriously doubt on what basis IFB gives licenses to their dealers or service centers.

                They definitely need to give some professional behavior training to their service center people. After that He stopped answering the calls and even if my dad calls and if he answers the calls, He was not at all professional so my dad decided not to call him anyways. I then called IFB customer care regarding this issue and was told that the complaint number - [protected] was closed. When asked them about the reason for closing the ticket, they had no reason or they were like they can't see the reason but it is closed.

                They then opened another ticket on 2nd june - complaint number - [protected]. They said the previous ticket was closed on June 3rd itself. So they created another ticket and assured me that this will be taken care on the same day, but no one either called or showed up to fix the issue. Since then I have been calling them multiple times and everytime I get the same answer as if their whole staff is working on this issue and will definitely a person will come on the day I was talking to them and will fix it.

                Another issue with IFB service is, they really used to have a better customer care agents earlier, may be 2 or 3 years back, but now whenever I ask them to transfer to their superior, they are like, they cannot do that or there is no such person and they will make sure that my issue will be fixed this time. IFB customer care has became very unprofessional as well. They seriously do not care abou their customers. After couple of calls again, then they said this ticket - [protected] too is closed. So they closed this second ticket on 27th June. When asked for the reason why it was closed, they say that some service center guy tried to contact customer but they got no response, so they closed that ticket, thats what they have in their ticket close notes.

                Surprised by that I asked them for the contact number they have for my account and found that they do have the correct contact numbers, they have my mothers and my brothers contact numbers with them and say that no one answered the calls, I seriously do not understand how that works for them, to give such false reasons and just close the tickets. My mother and brother were waiting and were expecting a call from IFB and they did not get any calls but still they have in their notes that no one answered and so they closed that ticket.

                After discussing all these, they opened another ticket / complain number - [protected], which is active at the moment. This was opened on July 3rd I guess and its the current ticket. I spoke to a customer care representative of IFB and his name is Sai Prasad I guess. He was like - I apologize for the issues faced and I will make sure it will be fixed today and again nothing happened, as no one showed up or called us again, I called the IFB customer care again after 24 hours and then another customer care representative (Rupesh) answered and He started the same script, saying we are sorry but we will have it fixed today for sure and when asked about what is the status and notes he see's in the ticket, He was saying that I already spoke with some supervisor named Ali, I do not even know who that Ali is and they have such notes in their tickets.

                Anyways, I thought they will send someone that day, but again same thing happened and no one either bothered to call or visit the place to fix the washing machine. I have called the next day again to IFB customer care to check the status and this time a lady answered, I guess her name is Sravathika, even she started saying that the last status in ticket is that I spoke with Ali, I seriously did not understand how they are adding such false notes in their tickets and why they were not taking the customer issues seriously. Again, as expected this lady too started saying the same story, that it will be taken care today but nothing was done again. They were asking for 24 hours everytime we call and then they were not doing anything about the issue.

                Finally, today I have called and quite fortunate that the same lady answered the call (Sravanthika). I wish IFB can actually try playing those calls and check how their representatives are answering, she was clearly accepting and saying that I have done my job and I am just doing my job, and her job or their job is to create tickets, update it and assign to someone and leave it or forget about it.

                These people seriously need to learn how to behave professionally.

                Let it be IFB appliances or any provider, they should understand that there are many products in the market which do the same work and are similar, its the service that differentiates any product, even if you have an excellent product but if you do not have a reliable service center or a customer care center, you cannot be in the market for a very long time.

                I am going to wait and see how these people are going to take care of this issue now. I seriously want to write more and would like to post my review in all the sites possible, and I will do it when I find time. Because they will save people from not going through these kind of issues in future, when we bouight the products from you guys, we could not find many negative reviews about IFB appliances services at that time. I will share my experience in as many forums as possible so that no other customer will go through these kind of issues with IFB Services and hopefully IFB will improve their standards in providing best service and not just products.

                I guess the service center for IFB in nellore district is sri raja rajeswari services or may be just raja rajeshwari service, as per the information I got from one of their representatives.

                Anyways, the last IFB customer agent gave me some service representatives number and his name is Ram Prasad, who is in nellore and his phone number is 7569****28. IFB customer care agent was like, I have done my job and I am doing my job, that was her final answer when asked how you are going to take care of this. When I asked whom to contact, then she gave this guys number, should see how this guy is going to respond now.

                I seriously do not understand why such companies like IFB forget about their customers once they sell their products, they should be serious about their business and about chosing and training the service centers and customer care centers.

                  I have been using maxidry dryer since 8 years. There was a problem with the current supply. The technician (Mr. Harsha) had come and replaced the timer and capacitor and charged 4000 rupees and left without verifying the working condition. The next day I called him and he seems to postpone the visit. Now it's been a month since no action has been taken. I have contacted the Mangalore IFB service center ([protected]) and as expected no response from them. Then I called the IFB toll free no and lodged a complaint (comp no. [protected]) and again no action taken. They gave me the same Mangalore service center no to contact.

                  This is shameful. Hope the concerned authority in charge takes action. Otherwise I will have to go consumer court. Wishing you all the best.

                    and purchased a washing machine Model no Serena Vx 7Kg with serial no. 013045 on 14th June 2014
                    it is still in warranty period.
                    Till yesterday it was working quiet efficiently but now it's not working properly. There is a huge sound coming and also not drying the cloths too.

                    Just after this complaint I've received a call from [protected] saying he is the representative of IFB and asked to give the Debit Card number so that he can deduct Rs 10/- from my account as the registration charges.
                    As I refused to give the card numbers he disconnected the phone.

                      I have raised an complaint on may'17 and after following up for more than a month it got resolved. I'm having an issue again with my washing machine and raised an complaint last week but still no one contacted me for this complaint. Customer servicing is very pathetic in IFB. They don't really care about their customers. It is disgusting to see how lethargic they are. There is no escalation matrix. I think it is time to sue the company for the loss occurred. Some one should shut down this company for their pathetic service. Don't know how much year it will take to resolve my issue.

                        Registered complaint #c/n [protected] and this was closed without resolution. Then registered again [protected] following day. Since then my elderly parents, who are the users, are following up with local service partner but they are just fooling around. Either they have excused of not coming and even if they attended, they were unable to diagnose and left the machine in open condition.
                        This harassment was never expected from ifb brand. It seems they do not have any control over there service outsources agents. Unfortunately theer is no escalation matrix available and consumer is just left on lip service of customer care executive.
                        My parents have left hope as its now almost 10 days and no sign of relief. Really dont know what to do after paying amc till year end. Suggest all to avoid paying amc/renewing amc and go for some other brand.

                          I have contacted IFB customer care more than 15 times and waited for whole day at home just to have their service. Nobody turned up and everytime I called they have stories to cook.
                          Very frustrating and unprofessional behaviour. The person also raised his volume on me. It is 7 pm now and he is still saying me that executive will visit my place. This shows how unprofessional they are.

                            No proper response for the request. Called ifb customer care 5 times. Each time they said the technician will b there by tomorrow but no call from technician nor customer care. Very bad customer respons.really ffrustraed after waiting for so long. Dint like the service. I would not recommend to anyone. Each time I loose more than 15 rupees talking to customer care representative and takes somuch time to connect. Now fed up of calling too

                              Hello Team

                              We are not receiving proper support for Our Washing Machine Digital 5.5 KG
                              Last year (26/1/16 ) we have raised a request regarding a issue with IFB Washing machine to

                              Grand Electronics
                              Thana, Kannur, Kerala

                              As per the previous engineer he fixed the issue that time and Wahing machine was working properly
                              One year down the line again the Wahing Machine is not working and we raised a new request Request number : [protected]
                              and the new engineer found that the capacitor was never connected during 2016 incident . Now it is 2 weeks and the washing machine is never fixed.

                              Today i called IFB Customercare and i found that Request number : [protected] is cancelled without informing us or fixing the issue .
                              I have logged a new request Number : [protected] .

                              We would like to know why the request was cancelled without fixing the issue and why the engineer who attended last year
                              did not fix the issue properly which propably caused continous issue with our mobile.

                              Now IFB is charging 5000 Rs for repairing the machine for the same mistake their engineer have done one year back.

Scolding me in hindi..Is this i want IFB support.buying washing machine ..Paying extended warranty .. complainng about machine.. Finally IFB team Scolding me..Is this i need..                                     By mistake we have bought a airconditioner for which we have submitted the installation request on 01 july 2017 vide reference no [protected], in which it was confirmed that it will be installed within 24 to 48 hours, an unskilled person was sent for installation with due follow up with the service franchisee, who have spoiled the wall on which it was to be fitted and left without completion of work and we are still awaiting for the same.

                                    We have requested to service person called mr. Shalender who seems to be from the organization did not reverted hence we can think how ifb can grow.

                                    Please arrange to get back the air conditioner and refund our money to avoid further exercise by us by complaining to the respective departments.

                                      As I bought washing machine on oct 2015... as I got minute problem due to mice in wiring area near main board. But main board was working properly..i have filed a complaint 2 months back but I did not get any proper response at service center.. I prefered ifb washing machine with good quality but later I realized it was very worst in both sales and services kindly solve thus issue as soon as possible.

                                        Respected sir/madam,

                                        On thursday, 29th june i requested for a repair of my ifb washing machine. The complaint number is [protected].in my service request i clearly mentioned that belt has to be replaced. The service person named mr. Puneet (Mobile number [protected]) arrived on 30th june in the afternoon. However, he didn't bring the belt to be replaced. Instead he collected rs550 in cash with a promise that he'll return on 1st july. For the receipt of cash he didn't provide us any receipt either. Since then, i tried to remind at least twice through service center and through direct phone call, but the service person doesn't turn up.

                                        I believe, this is one of way avoiding tax payment and black money generation too. I sincerely hope that you fix the washing machine and punish the service person, who is indulging in unethical practices.

                                        Thanks a lot for responding quick, in particular when I felt that you'll not respond at all.

                                        Today, your technician came and fixed the issue. Though he was not so courteous, I'm still very thankful to that.

                                        Unfortunately, he still doesn't carry the bill book (receipt). So his manager agreed to collect the cost of the replaced belt once he provides the receipt.

                                        I really appreciate your help. I've no intention to hold back the cost of repair. Hence, I request you to send the receipt as soon as possible, even by email/whatsapp would do well and please collect the money.
