I purchased a washing machine in 2015 from IFB.The firm has offered me 4 year warranty on the product. The preventive maintenance which need to be done periodically was not done properly. Only once they had provided preventive service visit.

The unit is not working from last three months. All my efforts to contact customer care were not successful over the toll free numbers provided in IFB website .As the issue is very urgent, I made a visit to the dealer from where I bought the item (Bajaj Electronics, Forum Mall, Malasian Township). Though the dealer raised complaint requests thrice, no one from M/s IFB is supporting to solve the problem.

I could contact IFB last week through the sms requests mentioned in the company website and was finally lodge a complaint ( Request No:[protected]). The request was then transferred to their Hyderabad office and though I am making efforts for availing the maintenance, nobody is keen to attend for the service.

Kindly help for availing the service from vendor as indicate in the warranty .

    Hi

    my washing machine is not working from last one month facing issue (i.e. Error E4)...

    i had complained for same on 24th Dec. ticket no is 18936674
    some one has attended on 2nd Jan but issue not resolved and i had informed same on 3rd Jan 2017

    But you has append a new ticket 18983806 for this and Serves centre is asking charges for same and still issue not resolved.

    kindly get this issue resolve on urgent basis...

        I was complainted at customer care about some problem in washing machine and they allotted me the Ticket no 18786285.             IFB Complaint # [protected], regarding

            In month of August I had bought IFB 23 L Microwave. Since mid of November it had stopped heating immediately after which I registered a complaint in IFB call centre. However it has been around a month and nothing has been fixed till now. In this span of 1 month some 4-5 engineers had come to my place to fix this issue and all of them had diagnosed a different problem.
            -The first technician (who came after 3 days of registering the complaint) said that fuse had gone and changed it but it did not resolve the issue.
            -Then after my rigorous follow up couple of other technicians came and diagnosed that Magnetron had to be changed and told me that they will change it once they get it from company. After this no one turned up for weeks.
            - Again after calling multiple times on call centre another technician came with Magnetron and changed it yet again with no success. This gentleman diagnosed that problem is actually with transformer and again that can be replaced only when he gets it from company.
            - History repeats and this time for more than 10 days no one turned up. Every day I had to call multiple time on call centre to follow up and every day I got to hear fake promises that issue will be fixed in 24 hours.
            - One fine day the last technician appeared again and changed the transformer but again with no success. Now he said that this dead box needs to be taken to workshop for rectification.

            I have had enough of this nuisance and no longer want to waste my time and energy over this faulty product thus I called call centre to have this replaced with new one. However today I got a call from area supervisor who said that there is no policy of replacement and only way is to get it rectified is by sending to workshop.

            IF REPLACEMENT OF FAULTY PRODUCT IS NOT IN IFB POLICY THEN CAN YOU EXPLAIN ME WHAT EXACTLY COMES UNDER YOUR POLICY?
            TO CHEAT CUSTOMER BY DELIVERING A FAULTY PRODUCT COMES UNDER YOUR POLICY????
            TO PROVIDE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE COMES UNDER YOUR POLICY????
            TO TAKE MORE THAN A WEEK TO RESPOND FOR A COMPLAINT COMES UNDER YOUR POLICY????
            TO KEEP CUSTOMER WAITING FOR WEEKS WITHOUT ANY COMMUNICATION FROM YOUR END COMES UNDER YOUR POLICY?????
            TO SHOW FAKE IMAGE OF COMPANY AND TAKE MONEY OUT OF CUSTOMER POCKET AND AFTER THAT BEHAVE LIKE A LOCAL THIRD CLASS COMPANY COMES UNDER YOUR POLICY???

            IS THIS POLICY APPLICABLE GLOBALLY OR IS IT ONLY FOR INDIA??????IFB official Site talks about business ethics and code of conduct. IS THIS WHAT YOU CALL BUSINESS ETHICS???????

            I am still not able to believe that I am facing this issue with a company like IFB. There are hundred of brands in market that offer same kind of product at much cheaper price however I still went for IFB thinking it has a global standardization. But the facts that are appearing are:
            - IFB HAS WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE
            - IFB TECHNICIANS ARE NOT TRAINED AT ALL
            - IFB DOES NOT HAVE AVAILABILITY OF SPARE PARTS

            It seems the 'F' in IFB stands for FRAUD and I am just another Victim of this fraud. This whole drama has become a torture for me and I have no more patience to tolerate it. It is high time IFB should know that Indian customers cant be taken for granted and they can not do what ever they want after looting money from customer pocket.

              Planned to gift a dishwasher to my parents from hyderabad (i live in hyd).
              6 dec - machine got delivered to vizag.
              13 dec - got it installed after I personally requested. no initiative from IFB/Shopclues. Found 3 dents on machine.
              31 Dec - requested 2nd demo and I visited vizag. Machine showing F5 error after technician left.
              5 - jan - technician came, tilted the machine and found 2 broken parts with 5 dents on external body.

              Now, IFB is not responsible, courier company is not responsible, and Shopclues is not responsible. They say, i should call shopclues by 8th december for replacement. Between Dec 6 and Dec 8, they expect the customer to open the shipment, check the machine internally and externally and raise return order. This is a hitech cheating that these companies started following now that costed me, 34, 000/-

                I had taken an AMC for the IFB washing machine that I own. I raised a ticket for getting service done on my washing machine as it was not working as per expectations. You can see the ticket number from the email trail. Ever since I have had multiple discussions with the IFB customer care on the issue. Every time they have told me a blatant lie. If you have access to the call records ("recorded for quality and training purposes" which is the first thing i get to hear when I call the customer care number) you can very well get to know. There we lies, blatant lies which your service agents make and as a result the customer (I am lead to believe, at this point, that for IFB, customer is defined as "Kast se mar") suffers.

                On the fifth day(Saturday) of raising the ticket I was told by the customer service supervisor that the issue was not resolved as the address mentioned was not correct. Again this was a lie as I had specifically asked the customer service representative to update the PIN Code when she asked me to confirm the address. The point here is that when it comes to collecting of the AMC cheques, the wrong address is no barrier and the collection agent comes to my home exactly at the given time and date (if not 15 minutes earlier). When it comes to responding to customer concerns, I find a serious dereliction, which is contrary to the terms of the AMC contract (though the Consumer Courts are there to decide if this is indeed a dereliction or not).

                I am not in the habit of washing dirty linen in public. However, I feel that the IFB products have great value (that's why I have no regrets purchasing the washing machine). But what IFB needs to understand that the product is just one part of the equation... providing Service is another important part. I hope IFB realises this and takes appropriate steps to overhaul your service architecture.

                You would do well if you can find time to learn about the story of FIAT India...

                  I lodged a complaint on 23 days decomber and my ticket number is [protected]. I am staying in bangalore and they have worst service center in washing machine. The technician is one mr. Vijay who doesn't know anything about repair. Please provide good technician. Everyday i am calling the service people that they said today itself they will finish the work. But till now no one has come and did the work. I took one year amc also. But that's also no help. I didn't expect this much problem from ifb. Next time i won't go for any ifb

                    Facing issue with washing machine since 45 days and ifb won't fix it.

                    Complaint no. [protected] - raised on 27/11/2016. Closed on 09/12/2016 without resolving and opened a new complaint on 10/12/2016. I don't know why they did this.

                    Complaint no. [protected] - raised on 10/12/2016. Repeatedly made calls to customer care, service center, deepthi (Says she is head of something, maybe regional).

                    Customer care - they'll arrange a call back every time, which i never get.

                    Service center - "we'll get the spare part tomorrow. By tomorrow evening we'll close the issue" - that's a standard response from them. They always fight with the technicians over conference call.

                    Deepthi - she calls the service center guys and puts me in conference every time and says, "finish the work by tomorrow and give me an update." she couldn't get a spare part replacement done in 45 days.

                    Please do not send any technician. I have decided to buy a new washing machine and to discard the current IFB machine. This is because every complaint raised takes at least 15 days and up to 45 days for you to resolve. That too after repeatedly following up. So, instead of wasting my time and energy to get service from you every time, I think it is better to go for some other brand.

                    I am never going to buy an IFB product in future. Finally happy that I don't need to contact you guys anymore.

                      I have purchased microwave oven on 6th january 2017 with the ensurity of a demo on 7th afternnoon. Since I didnt get any call from service assistant till 1 PM on 7th, I contacted your customer care and they ensured me the demonstration by evening. Being waited till evening, i made another call to customer care at 4 30 PM with same enquiry. Again they ensured me the demo within an hour. I keep waiting by suspending by regular work but in vain. At 7 PM i made another call to get disgusting answer that today being saturday and tom sunday nobody is coming for demo. This information if passed to me in timely manner, i might have continued with my regular work atleast. Now who is answerable for my time waste and there by the lost trust on IFB. I expect an immediate action. Totally disatisfied with the service.

                        I would like to point out my concern that we had registered a complaint for our IFB washing machine which was not working, with IFB Customer Care on 14th December and a ticket was assigned to us (Tkt no:[protected]), .
                        A service person from M/s.Umar Enterprise visited our home and checked for the problem. he had conveyed that the main board has gone and it needs to be replaced. since we already have AMC with them, he said they will replace the same in two days. But no one came and after 4 days, upon my enquiry with Umar Enterprises personnel, we were told that it would be done in another 2 days.
                        But nothing happened hence I again contacted IFB customer care after waiting for 10 days or so, and came to know from the Executive that the Ticket was closed (Tkt no:[protected]). I wondered how they can close a ticket without even attending to it. I wanted to escalate the same, for which the Executive said they will look in to this and assigned a fresh ticket (tkt no. [protected]). I thought now atleast they would rectify the problem but my turmoil continued as I keep on calling Umar Enterprises and Customercare team one day or other and the response was they will attend in 1 or 2 days. Still the problem is not yet resolved.

                        I had spoken to Umar Enterprise Manager, Ms.Muthuselvi as suggested by Customer care team She assure the problem will be solved the next day as spare availability was the problem but yet the problem is not resolved.

                        This all happening after being regularly renewing AMC with Umar Enterprises for the past 3 years...I don't know what to do except registering a complaint with Consumer court since I had waited almost 21-22 days. I am losing trust with IFB brand owing to this worst experience. Hope someone from IFB will take necessary action, before i move to consumer court.

                        Please instruct your Service partners to address customer concern on priority as it will directly impact on your brand 9IFB) rather than them.

Hope you would henceforth improve the service by taking the Complaints seriously and issue strict instructions to your Service Partners, to resolve the Customer complaints on priority basis to avoid unnecessary inconvenience to Customers like us who believed on IFB brand and bought the product.                           I am an old customer of IFB and have been taking AMC every year. The registered mobile number is [protected]. There here have been service issues ealier also. Recently I had lodged a complaint regarding my washing machine 3 days back and requested service on priority. I was assured immediate service. No one called me after that. I called up yday and was assured that some technician will call me asap. Again I kept waiting and no one called. I called up again yday evening and requested the number of technician as i was tired of following up with Ifb customer care. The rep gave me number of Deepak. I called him he said he does not work in my area and ge gave me number of Miss Neeraj. I called her and to my surprise she was very rude to me and asked me to call at 10 am today. I again called her at 10 am today and she was talking to me as if i have made a blunder by asking service from her and no one has yet come to my place.
                          This is the worst service I would say provided by Ifb and my worst experience with any service providing company. I would never recommend Ifb to anyone. Being in service industry if you do not know how to serve your customers then there is no use of keeping your shop open in service industry.
                          There is no monitoring of the dealers who are responsible to send technicians to customers. Also there is no quality of these dealers like miss neeraj. The ifb rep gave me number of mr vikas asthana and again the call was picked up by miss neeraj. I am really pissed off with the kind of treatment that I have received as a customer.
                          I will complaint this in other forums also if satisfactory service is not provided to me and will discontinue taking services from 7fb.

                              Dear Sir / Madam IFB industries,
                              I had been complaining through IFB customer care toll free number since 27th December 2016 regarding my washing machine not functioning.
                              Complaint ticket reference number is [protected].
                              I am under a Annual Maintenance contract for my washing machine for 2 years from the period 16/05/2015 to 16/05/2017.
                              Have attached in the photo the scanned copy of the AMC details where I have paid Rs.4157.00.

                              I am very sorry to say that I have been contacting with my ticket reference number every day and I have been fooled up by the customer care representatives daily saying that my complaint will be addressed. This is been going on since 27th December 2016.
                              Some of the representatives give me a number of a service provider in Ambur whose name is Saravanan and that person doesn't care to respond to calls as well.
                              My village code is 635808 which is 12kms from Ambur towards Pernambut town.
                              Every time I call the customer care people ask for my village code and Ambur code ( 635802 ) which I keep mentioning the same.
                              It is the worst ever service I have experienced across. People in your company think that since it is a village they are illetrates.
                              Why are you charging us AMC and not servicing for that paid AMC and not even responding properly for the complaint given.
                              Does your company think that money is growing is trees to play the fool with us.
                              Sorry to say that it is so frustrating to write like this since we have been taken for a ride like this without attending the complaint given.

                              Hope some higher officials seriously involve and look into this to resolve.

                                I have made complain several times on IFB call center and they gave me local service provider number to contact.
                                Every time i call them they just say the technician will come today and make a false statement.
                                They cancelled my complaint saying i was not home but till date they dont have the repairing part with them then who they close on basis of this (IFB ticket number [protected]).
                                Now i have the new number but nothing has been done on it.

                                IFB does not reply to my mail conversation as well.

                                    I bought IFB Senator DX 6KG. Getting issues[E7 error] from past 1 year.
                                    Last when it come fist time around Nov-2015, after couple of requests IFB service engineer changed the Mother board. Then it works fine for 2 to 3 months.

                                    They asked me to take AMC then i took for AMC for one year.

                                    The same issue getting repeated again from past 8 months. From then am raising a request for every month. Various people from IFB coming and looking over it but still the problem exist. Also my AMC about to expire.

                                    Note: Please resolve it ASAP the issue also extend the AMC till issue get resolved.

                                        3 month back i have raised the complaint but till now it hasnt been resolved. Customer care of IFB doesnt even respond. If by mistake they will pick your call, then they will lie to you that it will be resolved within 2 days, but for months they will or contact you or they will not pick your call. Its worst service I have ever seen and they dont feel ashamed of their service as well. I will strongly recommend that no one should buy IFB product .
